I feel like people forget that Tsukasa is 13 and that he’s been possessed since he was 4 and that half of the time in a modern AU, he’s generally considered to be a little shit but not so bad that he’s over here trying to kill people or abuse others like. People want to demonize him so bad that they give him traits he never had in canon

Yes! People started to mischaracterize him, they take 5% of what they saw in the anime/beginning of the manga and assume he is a heartless monster.

The abuse theory was very famous before, and it was supported because there was evidence that it could be real, but today, with 118 chapters released, it already presents a lot of evidence that it is not true. Luckily, some people are opening their eyes and wanting to understand Tsukasa, but unfortunately many people still harbor an immense hatred for the character without first seeing another side of him.

You are the only one that can decide what will make you happy in a relationship. But since you come to us for advice, if you are thinking about being turned, we really recommend talking to someone at Fanged, Fledged and Future-proof first. F3 has a lot of information on their website too, if contacting them feels a step too far. But they have great community counselors and excellent peer-support groups for newly fledged vampires.

Oh boy do I!

Rousseau's Confessions definitely fits that category to a t. I might as well come clean and admit how much I actually enjoyed reading at least the first few books (while also finding myself frustrated with JJ to the point of madness ofc - many, many times).

I would of course never go full Brissot, but I can't rule out a potential re-read in the future...

Apart from that, I also have a lot of complicated feelings about Chuck Palahniuk's books (probably most famous for Fight Club). No other author seem to oscillate between brilliant and absolutely atrocious as much as he does.

15. recommend and review a book:

It's been a while since I've read it, but I really liked Margaret Atwood's The Penelopiad!

I know the book market is currently overflowing with Greek myths retellings, but this one is one of the original ones and - at least for me - one of the good ones.

I felt like Atwood didn't sanitise Penelope's character but rather made her a complex, quite morally grey heroine. I enjoyed seeing the events of the Odyssey from her perspective more than say, that of Miller's Circe. The way she felt bitterly jealous of Helen, the few sweet moments which fleshed out her relationship with Odysseus, her interactions with Telemachus... Atwood's Penelope just somehow felt more like a human being.

I also loved how she made Penelope's 12 maids into a Greek chorus, utilised a lot of different genres throughout the book (including a 21st century academic lecture), and reinterpreted one often overlooked passage of The Odyssey in a fascinating new way. No spoilers, but just for that alone, it's worth a read!

I think it's a darn fine ship! The first thought that comes to my mind here is Geoff bringing (or at least trying to bring) Trent out of his cool and mysterious shell and I mean if Trent got along with Owen, he can get along with Geoff.

Because I mean, Geoff is very loose and free and wild with how he expresses himself, and Trent is more drawn-in and collected and masking, so there's a sense of duality there. They complement each other.

( The most common nervous habit he might display is probably finger tapping; Tsukishima often taps his fingers against a surface when he's deep in thought, anxious, or frustrated. The tapping would be rhythmic and relatively soft, a quiet release of his restlessness. He’s aware enough not to make it too loud or disruptive, but the subtle movement is a telltale sign that something's probably on his mind. )

( He is-- Tsukishima can play the piano almost perfectly, and he picked it up in almost a single day, thanks to his Fullbring. Book of the End, which allows him to absorb information directly from texts, and retain the knowledge of whatever he's cut, gives him a photographic memory and the ability to learn complex skills incredibly fast. The piano, a notoriously challenging instrument, was no exception to this. By using his power to absorb piano instruction books, Tsukishima was able to understand the mechanics, theory, and even specific pieces of music with perfect precision, bypassing the usual time and effort needed to develop those skills.

Despite his proficiency, his playing probably lacks a certain, notable warmth or soul, that a more passionate player might bring. He might excel technically, but his playing might come off as sterile or mechanical unless he invests more emotional energy into the music. )

👻 - what is your wildest headcanon?

Given how popular gay/bi Ed is within the fandom, it is sooo easy to say aroace Ed is my most wild headcanon. But that's too easy. Let's see... I think, in an edgreed scenario, Ed would absolutely be into Greed's carbon form. Big fuckin' fangs and all. What reason do I have for believing this? None. I just think it would be neat.

I also think Mustang doesn't possess a single parental bone in his body and that ED would sooner stab out his own eyeballs than cry and hug him, aha. And that's wild because this fandom fucking loves its parental Mustang. And I don't.

👓 - what helps you focus when you write?

Music!! Unless I'm absolutely struggling with a scene and I really need to think in silence, it's always music. If I AM struggling, then I need absolute silence. Writing in sunlight tends to help me a ton too! Something about the vibes... they really motivate me!

🦈 - which character is the toughest to write?

Y'know, I used to think it was Al during ch2. Then I thought it was Greed in ch4 when I was still getting used to him. But no. I think the toughest character to write is fucking Bido. Greed's entire crew sans Martel in 03 don't rlly get expanded on to begin with, BUT BIDO ESP IS THE TOUGHEST NUT TO CRACK CUZ—HE'S JUST ANXIOUS?? That's his entire character! He's Anxious all the time!! BUT WHAT ELSE?

I genuinely struggle to imagine what else there is to him. It also doesn't help that Bido's character type (nervous wrecks, doormats, etc) generally just kinda uhhhh, piss me off a little?? Which might just be me projecting my anger at my younger self but WHATEVER. Bido's a tough one and I'm glad my current wip kills him off cuz I wouldn't know how to deal with him lmao

🎨 - if someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

I answered this previously regarding my serious visions. But I also have plenty of silly visions!! Also for Crown, there are a ton of Team Greed moments that had me cackling at myself and wanting their shenanigans drawn. I'd also love to see edling's bickering! Like in ch2 when Ling calls Ed gege and how "obviously?? you think i can obviously beat Armstrong??" and Ed gets flustered over it. Or before that when Ling says "this is what I get for defending my boyfriend?" and Ed also gets flustered. Or literally anything from ch1 when they're still finding their footing.

So Ralis and Mirni have any special jewelry or other keepsakes they've given each other? What are they most comfortable wearing?

At the moment they don't have anything like that yet, but I can totally see Ralis giving Mirni something like a necklace or bracelet as a gift.

Cute idea I had: maybe when he finally returns to Mournhold (and takes Mirni with him) he'll give her some form of jewellery that's been in his family for a long time. I think that would be cute.

Between the two of them, Ralis is more of a gift-giver than Mirni. She prefers to show her love through physical affection. But Ralis will absolutely give Mirni some trinkets and other gifts sometimes... if he has the money for it. (Or finds something she might be interested in during an adventure. )

Also, as for what jewellery they're comfortable wearing: both wear earrings for special occasions. Mirni will wear pretty much any jewellery except rings, she doesn't like how they feel on her fingers and she thinks they get in the way when performing magic. Ralis doesn't normally wear any jewellery except for those earrings for special occasions. However I can see him wearing necklaces too when not in armour. (In fact I've drawn modern AU Ralis wearing them. )

mhm, I would love to introduce him to some games...! I think he would prefer Pokemon over Animal Crossing, although, he doesn't really seem to be...the type to enjoy a game of just living out a domestic life. Maybe I can sell him on the idea, though! I can make him his own villager and show him how fun it can be- (I'd love to get all of our class to join my Animal Crossing island and we can all play together...maybe sometime ^^)

Pokemon is a must, though...Gundham is a breeder after all, and raising your mons is an essential part of the game (alongside battling, which also might be something he enjoys, yeah?)

haha. well, if we're speaking from a standpoint of what season i'd rather exist outside in, then fall. it's kind of a no-brainer for me because every other season where i live is practically uninhabitable.

but i like talking and writing about summer most, actually. i live in the desert, and summers here tend to get really hot (it's meant to be around 120 degrees fahrenheit today!). not really the sort of condition i enjoy being outside in, but i like writing things centered around that kind of desolate, scorching heat. i think surviving in a place like that is one of the coolest things you could do. that's a big part of why i was attracted to the idea of writing striker!

🔭 / Telescope : What’s your F/Os favorite details about you? Yours about them?

Leo's favorite detail about me is probably how weird I am lol. He's really odd, eccentric and overall considered hard to deal with because of his unpredictable personality, so having someone who is just as weird makes him feel safe and allows him to keep being himself without others' hurtful words getting in the way.

For Keito, I would say it's the same thing kind of? While Leo and I are weird in somewhat opposite ways; Keito and I are quite similar, and that's probably something he can enjoy as well considering the kind of people he's used to.... That and how understanding I am of his struggles, since he's obsessed with being so "perfect" all the time ^^`

As for me! What I love the most about Leo is his positivity, I would say. Leo is full of love for everyone and everything, and, although it has caused its own conflicts in the past, I really admire that he can still remain that way despite everything — especially as someone who is kind of a hater more often than not lol

My favorite details about Keito are his dedication and care. There's something so reliable about the way he loves those who are important to him; so unwavering that it's hard to feel insecure about it. He's a steady man who can be naggy at times, but to me that part of him feels stabilizing.

9. He grew up on a small farm in rural southwestern Kansas (thus the name). The farm belonged to Kansas' aunt, uncle, and six older cousins. After Kansas' parents separated when he was a kid, his mom took him and his older brother and moved in with her sister's family. In the Mojave he mostly just vagabonds around with a few spots he uses as home bases. The two main ones are the Lucky 38 for when he's in Vegas and Harper's Shack when he's not. He likes being able to cook and craft things, and Harper's Shack is the only place he could find with a workbench, reloading bench, and a campfire, plus two beds and 15 storage containers. The only downsides are the lack of a water source and the Vipers, geckos, and deathclaws that like to hang around nearby. Luckily he's good enough with a gun that he's able to pick them off pretty easily whenever they show up

10. Just English. He's not southern but probably has a bit of a rural twang which sounds a little similar. Also he initially pronounced the El Dorado substation/gas & service/dry lake like "El Do-ray-do" because there's a city in Kansas named El Dorado that's pronounced like that. I'm sure someone made fun of him for it (probably Raul Cass or Veronica)

32. Sniper rifles and shotguns. The sniper rifle is his main weapon of choice, but he likes the hunting shotgun and the lever-action shotgun for closer range combat. I'm not totally sure how/why he would've first started using a sniper rifle, but his family probably taught him how to hunt with shotguns and regular rifles. He pretty much just avoids melee and unarmed combat entirely

49. Food! The Mojave is a pretty different environment from what he grew up with so he's still excited about all the plants and animals that are different from what he's used to. He's constantly picking fruits and other edible plants when he's out wandering the Mojave (prickly pears are his favorite). He doesn't really eat much pre-war food since he didn't have it growing up, but he'll still grab some if he happens to find any, either to sell, give to his companions (he always keeps the Lucky 38 fridges well-stocked), or use as an ingredient when cooking. If Kansas so much as hears someone's stomach grumble he will immediately start pulling out snacks to offer them lol

He was a mayor. He was a mayoral compaign captain. Can i make it any more obvious? Season 7 mayoral campaign was certainly a thing that happened. It was a lot.

Bdubs is Scar's biggest enabler and also his biggest hater. The fact that Bdubs can go along with so many of Scar's strangest ideas, while at the same time calling him out for them being stupid is art all by itself. The fact that he just cant hold himself away from Scar's little schemes in like, every single one of Life series pretty much is also a little. 🤨🏳️‍🌈❓ The way Scar also goes back to Bdubs almost always, knowing that he "has ahold of him"(bdubs' words) is just beautiful. They just work too good with each other. Bdubs knows that Scar depends on him "falling" for his silly schemes and Scar knows that Bdubs knows they are silly. Silliness all over. Also Scar ate him in season 5? you know,

I dont think i have an unpopular opinion on them? Somehow they are a rarepair so there arent really. Many popular opinions on them you know

Grumbo! I do not ship it

1.All respect to Grumbo shippers out there but I hc Grian as aromantic and im a lot more into other ships with Mumbo that Grumbo just never seemed all that interesting romantically to me.

2. I Don't think there's anything that will make me like it on itself, I will read it grumbo if it is in Mumscarian however. Im not super invested in romance between them, or scarian for that matter, but even without romance their dynamic is really rich. Also im a strong believer that anything you can read as romantic could be platonic if you mean it that way so you know. I would just see it that way usually!

3. I think its a very fun ship! I have seen season 6 from both of their perspectives. They are not normal about each other! I prefer to read it as just two really close friends being weird about each other and having fun with it, but i could see them romantic!
