have we considered that Zane went from fleshy-appearing material to solid metal? do you think he, after all the adrenaline and memory loss, looked down at his hands next to the others' and saw the difference? did he immediately shrink back? did anyone notice?

maybe it was yet another sign of his relative immortality, his differences. maybe he could ignore people yelling "you're not like us" when he looked more similar, and now that his body reflects the sun like a new car the comments stick for longer.

did he make the hologram disguise (from Snake Jaguar) when the days stretched on and he realized that his industrial body was there to stay? did he agonize over asking Pixal to help? did he ignore the pause a microsecond too long or did it keep him up at night?

is he always wishing to go back to his old body? or is he fighting to accept his current one?
