Hello everyone!!

I am proud to announce that around 8am today, the City Council of Ninjago City signed and passed through a bill giving Nindroids complete and full rights as Ninjago Citizens!

Yes, this was worded correctly, Ninjago Citizens, not just of the City but of our beautiful country!! This wouldn't have happened if not for the petitions hosted by @where-are-the-ninja-today and their anons, as well as the mild protests hosted by regular everyday Ninjago Citizens.

I just got off the phone from Mayor Trustable as well, he is also on board with this bill and will sign it today at 10am at a live press conference! He will be donating the pens used to sign it directly to Borg Industries as @cyrus-borg-irl has also been a huge support in this movement. Similarly, I would like to give my thanks to the city commissioner at the @ninjago-police-irl department who was a major influence in swaying the Mayor to sign this bill.

Finally, I'd like to give my personal congratulations to our resident Nindroids! @pixal-borg-rp @minipix-seven @mr-echo-irl @zane-borg @echo-zane-irl. Congratulations to all of you! I am sincerely apologetic it has taken so long for this motion to come true, I recommend celebrating such a historic period for your species!! I have worked personally with each of them and can confirm they are very deserving of such a great day.

I know Samurai X and the Titanium Ninja are looking forward to a legal marriage certificate. I'd like to offer my services as an officiant of wedding ceremonies and as a notary to witness your signatures of your official marriage certificate.

Since this issue of legal citizenship has become known, the City Council has also begun research into making other bills for other species existing in our cities. Our next goal is to bring citizenship to the good people of Merlopia.

Jay becoming evil and Zane suddenly being treated as equipment and acting less like Zane almost seems like it links.

Because none of us should forget that the first person who humanised, was non-judgmental, understanding and quickly accepting to Zane’s non-human insides was Jay.

Before the big reveal, in the early seasons Zane was still considered strange and weird. His personality and the way he behaved was strange to others and the ninja, and despite Jay still thinking that, he was one of the first people to not judge Zane based off of such a thing and was even willing to help him understand how to socialise more. I mean yeah sure he was still a butt towards Zane at times but he never actually hated or judged Zane for who he was.

When Zane’s reveal as a nindroid was shown to them Jay quickly jumps in with how despite the fact that Zane isn’t human, that doesn’t mean he isn’t still Zane. Nothing changed when they found out Zane was a nindroid because he was always a nindroid, they just know that now. Jay even starts making jokes about it five seconds later, this man has horrible timing.

Jay himself seems like before the ninja he was always overly self conscious about how his life was like and how his quirks made him behave, so i think when he first met Zane he wasn’t just going to judge and push him away but instead help him and accept him.

Now, with Jay being evil and having worked under the same group that is calling Zane equipment and unable to actually feel, is there anyone out there who will actively encourage and support Zane through who he is? Pixal my love come back and fix your man’s horrible mental health. Maybe smack him with the broom your face is on.

I'm rewatching ninjago after a lot of years and I gotta say I love the way they all react to Zane being a nindroid. Like yeah they're all shocked, but they all recognize that nothing about him has changed. He's still family and no matter what he's made of they don't treat him any less human.

There's no big shift where there are "the three ninja! And also Zane the robot!"

It's just "this is our buddy Zane, he does ice" and I love that

Headcannon: If- im sorry lets be realistic, WHEN Zane and Pixal get married Pixal is going to keep her last name for a few reasons.

1. She thinks the human tradition of wives taking their husband’s last name is sexist and similar to someone putting their  name on an object of their’s.

2. Cyrus Borg wants to have Pixal be the next CEO of Borg Industries.

3. Borg is most likely a very powerful and respected person so having her father’s name could benefit Pixal.

So Pixal took Zane’s last name as a middle name.

Zane decided to take his wife’s last name as his last name and make his original last name his middle name. Because he wants people to know that he has the BEST wife EVER! And because now he and Echo Zane don’t have the same exact name.

Their children however have their mother’s last name and have Julien as a middle name.

Ok so I have this idea that when Zane got rebuilt in season 3 he was rebuilt as a Borg android that is a entirely different model than his father originally made him to be.

The Borg androids where designed with antennas and chunkier limbs (old art for reference (the wings are not a Borg design))

When Zane wakes up on Chens island he doesn’t remember who he is at first right? But in my mind he still feels some sort of loss of his old body. He is just uncomfortable with the body he woke up in and he doesn’t know why.

When he remembers he becomes more aware of this feeling because now he remembers being “human” more clearly.

He remembers how his body should feel and why his current body feels so wrong to him. His limbs are to big and are hard to maneuver compared to his previous limbs. His antennas pick up every single sound and he hates how they sometimes slightly brush against his head.

He feels like this during all of season 4 but can focus on trying to save the ninjago. But as things calm down it starts to take its toll on him. Pixal tries to help, trying to get him to talk to the other ninja, but theres only so much one can do when stuck in someone’s head. She feels a bit lost not only because she physically cant help but also because she struggles to see the problem ,i mean she understands why zane is feeling this way but she also doesn’t? Like on a emotional level she understands it but not on a logical level. She struggles to comprehend how Zane cant see anything positive with his new body.

This all comes to a boiling point where Zane essentially has a break down of sorts where he breaks his antennas off (it doesn’t really hurt him). After this he finally goes to his friends for help. (or they find and help him)

Nya and Jay build new limbs and switches the his limbs for the newly made ones. The limbs are darker than the rest if his body and definitely not at advanced as his previous limbs but they work well for the work they do and the look more like his first body (they kinda just looks like black prosthetics and begins at the knees and elbows). This makes him feel a lot more comfortable in his own body.

Hc that Zane actually runs very hot naturally. Like how a computer gets overheated really easily, I feel like all those motors and especially that big ol’ brain would get super toasty really fast. His Ice power is probably the only thing keeping him from melting down constantly.

I also feel like that’s why Echo Zane never really worked properly, cause he didn’t have an advanced enough cooling system to keep himself running for extended periods. (disabled Echo hcs anyone?)

darian works as a programmer and a dealer for nindroid-specific drugs. dar's main aspiration is to create full sense emulation in nindroids (smell taste etc)

dar is in dar's late 20s i think? i don't really know but somewhere along those lines

darian has a very planty vibe. dude likes plants. specifically mostly flowers which is what dar uses as a cover when doing the dealing. dar's apartment is way full of them lol

darian's fashion style is very planty too. mostly in dark greens blues and turquoises with accent colours of green red and yellow. dar can wear casual clothes but will go a little vintage i think too. darian doesn't care about presenting one way or another. dar just does it

darian does have varied facial expressions but a lot of the time looks pretty tired

While watching Sons of Garmadon and Hunted I realized how unlucky it would be to live as a nindroid in Ninjago world. Like really, they are robots and do not bleed so the creators made Mr. E beat up Zane to the point of almost dying (tbh it was pretty brutal for a kids show) and then made Garmadon tear Mr. E apart in front of his allies. Now imagine if that Pixal from s4 (Pixal in parts) was a human p__p
