cass cain is so emotive and I hate that so many of yall fall straight into the stoic asian woman stereotype thing because like, the only reason cass wouldn't vocalize a feeling is when she would struggle to find the word for it because she literally wasn't taught how to speak. that's so fucking upsetting. She has such big beautiful emotions, she feels so deeply about the littlest things but everytime she has trouble putting it into words she's reminded that she was conceived not to. her abuser did not have her feelings or her pain in mind, only how well she could end a life. can you fucking imagine

Danny calling John Constantine a “discount, hyped-up voldemort wannabe” and complaining that “at least voldemort didn’t make that much paperwork for the ministry”
A list of why the insult is legit, maybe written by a spite fueled Danny, the soul tax collector, helped by Clockwork who wrote the file he’s getting his info from probably:
British
Magic
Manipulate, Mansplain, Manwhore
Bad habits
Soul splitting (!!!)
Involved in some weird shit
His house could kill you
Tax evasion
Mother dies and father resents him for reasons (in some version, or an orphan at some early point, either way)
Magical, special lineage connected to cunning
Dark arts knowledge
Met a lot of Ghosts but most don’t like him
Dies?
But not really
Many contacts and connections everywhere
Killed people
People die around him (Different things)
Problems with the Government (mood but also >:( )
Grave robbing (implied? it has to have happened, i can’t believe otherwise)
...
You know what, a lot of crime in general, what the heck?
Asshole (should’ve been higher on the list honestly)
Gets a blood transfusion from an enemy and becomes stronger
Protected from mind control (Lucky)
Probably called you-know-who by someone at least once
Smart (???)
Changed his name and joined a band (So to speak)

Drawtober 2023 - Day 30
Proper Toxtricity enrichment is letting them rock alongside you!
Radium may turned out to be a low key form Toxtricity, but Petunia's IronBriar's concerts are certainly more amped up since they joined!

Ok, here are the 3 main things I would've changed about Irish Wish (2024), because I can't stop thinking about it.
I'd combine the characters of James and Kory. Meet Jory. He's the brother of author Paul Kennedy, he's a professional nature photographer, but his family treats it like a hobby because they're posh. Oh, and he's Irish.
I wouldn't make St. Brigid an actual wee woman who appears around trees and rocks like a leprechaun. I'd show her in the form of an animal to represent her interventions. Because there was far too little com in this Irish rom, I would go the humorous, irreverent route and use a cow, as St. Brigid is closely associated with them. Cue American woman looking funny at every cow in County Clare-Mayo (which is a lot of cows).
All the throwaway lines about book and authors, and the content of the book Maddie had just published with Paul, should've been closely tied to the plot. Don't just invoke the name James Joyce, use James Joyce (though it would make more sense--not just for the genre we're watching but also the genre Maddie's writing--to use someone like Oscar Wilde instead).
Bonus: Don't treat Paul like he's a "great guy" who deserves her friend's affections, when he's obviously not and definitely doesn't.

If anyone tries to tell me baldur’s gate 3 isn’t an authentic dnd experience I will tell them about how my sorcerer tried to misty step across a lava lake to get to an item, failed 8 rolls to unlock the box it was in, and then tried to misty step back to the rest of the party only to run out of spell slots halfway. He fortunately had a scroll of misty step on him. He unfortunately had a wild magic episode the second he landed and entangled himself in vines and then set the whole party on fire.
