Ends up way more popular than he intended: people sponsor him to read their books in his videos, and he’s a bit worried he’s gonna mess up somehow

Nadia

No one thinks they've ever seen Nadia break composure so quickly as when she opened the box that she was sent, seeing a single finger lying in it

She doesn't register the ring at first, her expression only changing to disgust and horror until she does catch the sight of the band on the finger

Her entire expression crumbles and she can't even bring herself to keep her composure while on the middle of a meeting

She's silent for a moment as if she can't believe what she's seeing and snaps the second that someone asks her what's wrong

Rarely do people ever get to see Nadia so angry, barking out orders that make very little sense in her panicked state, many are almost convinced that she's preparing them to go to an abrupt war

It takes her a time to calm down as she realises that she won't get anywhere acting irrationally and employs everyone that she can to find you, no matter the price

She knows she needs to but she doesn't sleep until you've been found, taking out her frustrations and fears whenever no one is around because she doesn't want to further concern anyone after her initial outburst though Portia is a great source of comfort throughout the day because she's almost as worried as Nadia herself

She immediately locks you away with her once you've been found, genuinely terrified to let you go for fear that you'll get hurt again and doesn't bother to oversee the criminal's punishment, not wanting to give them the satisfaction of knowing that they got to her when they get executed

All of your guards get replaced for their folly and you'll struggle to go anywhere alone for quite some time

Julian

Julian genuinely feels sick

He's seen things like severed fingers before, he really shouldn't be so disgusted by the sight of the blood soaked appendage

Despite this, the ring has him paling so quickly that he becomes light headed, stomach flipping and he really does feel like he's lost every one of his senses

His vision is going dotty and he can barely stand, not bothering to keep down the contents of his stomach

He can barely think, mind in a panic as he rushes off to whoever he can come up with, ending up at Asra's shop and praying with everything he can that he isn't out like he usually is

He isn't a detective nor does he use magic. He knows somewhere in his mind that his best shot is to go to someone he knows would be able to find you

All he wants is to see you, to check up on you. It would kill him if he wasn't physically there with you but even if he could just check that you weren't harmed as badly as his mind was making him believe in his panic

He knows from the severed finger that whoever had taken you was cruel, cruel enough to hurt you without reason and hurt you badly

He stumbles over his words so badly that Asra can tell without asking that something is very wrong

When it comes down to it, Julian doesn't want revenge in whoever hurt you. He just wants you safe. He wants whoever it was as far away from you as possible and he will see it through as soon as he finds you

Muriel

The despair Muriel feels is truly like nothing he has ever experienced

He'd put off opening the parcel, knowing that it wasn't from you nor Asra and so didn't trust to open anything as such but when you don't return, and on the day that he receives the parcel at that, he makes some form of link and opens it

He's never been so distraught as he practically fumbles with himself to stand. He's usually composed and stoic but now he really couldn't be as normal even if he wanted to be

Muriel is typically against violence and this still holds true but he doesn't think he's ever felt so much rage as he had after the initial shock and despair had lessened enough for his overwhelming anger to take to the forefront of his mind

He has to take a moment to compose himself despite his panic, Inanna responding to his mood and already itching to go out and find you because you mean just as much to her as you do to Muriel and she too is all too willing to tear apart whoever had hurt you

He only just about manages to remember to ask Asra for support, his dislike for going into the city long forgotten in his concern and urgency, as a just in case before Inanna is off to find you

The perpetrators have no chance on e she finds them and she finds them quickly. Muriel is right behind her as she seeks you out and neither one of them is ready to talk or compromise

Muriel initially intends to take you and then leave but, seeing the state that you were in, he couldn't

It's brutal and he wishes that you wouldn't have to see it but for once he doesn't regret such an act. He doesn't think he could if he wanted to

Pashadia (Portia/Nadia) in 5 minutes

I had a poll for the ship name, but I keep Pashadia because I just love it so much :p

Probably a side-effect of staying in the coma and having a previous less-than-perfect marriage, but Nadia is the thirsty one of the two (I mean, look at her route XD ); good thing that Portia has a very good stamina!

While Nadia loves to buy gifts for Portia (clothes, jewels, anything useful for travelling, etc.), she respects Portia's independence. She doesn't want Portia to feel like she's just a play-doll or make her uneasy with too many luxurious things. Meanwhile, Portia understands perfectly that offering gifts is Nadia's love language and treasures all of them. She even inspired her to make handmade gifts, they often exchange little gifts like this during festivities or just because they can.

When the two decided to create some puzzle boxes together, everyone knew it would be nearly impossible to resolve them without asking them for clues. They also decided to make some for themselves as a safe or to keep what was precious to them inside.

Nadia tried to learn how to cook but... it's not really her thing. She's very good at decorating cakes and presentations and has a good instinct and nose to make some spice mixes, but otherwise, she's just not into it. Realizing how much work cooking and baking are, her respect for Portia and everyone doing it got exponential growth. Portia likes to watch how meticulous Nadia is when she helps decorate her pastries. She also went her way to learn how to prepare some Prakran dishes and desserts to surprise her beloved.

The two always plan at least one SPA day (or the Vesuvian equivalent) per month together. While they often bathe together, they just love to have a whole day where they just relax together and indulge in cosmetics.

Main six (or three) with an apprentice who steals? Depending context, but for example stealing food from the palace before it's thrown out (or after!) and how they'd react if they caught the apprentice in the act.

Doesn’t see a problem with it at all

How he grew up influenced how he sees things, especially if it's just food from the palace, why let them waste it?

If he catches you taking from some of the palace’s food just before its being thrown out, he’ll join you

Asra does add a sense of chaos and mischief to the situation, stuffing things he probably shouldn’t have in his arms

Faust would help you more than just throwing a couple things in Asra’s bag if she could

He loves mischief, just, don’t let him take too much

He’ll take whatever he can and offers to hold whatever you have as well

If you’re taking more than just food he’ll only take what catches his eye (and his love for the dramatics)

Absolutely finds one of those feather scarfs and immediately takes it. He’ll absolutely use it to act like a damsel in distress 

Malak probably ends up stealing said scarf from Julian before he can whine about needing saved some more

Nadia

..you know you don’t need to take from the palace in secret right?

She’s amused, you could’ve just asked the kitchen for some of the food

She won’t scold you, but she’ll definitely tease you later

Nadia will tell you that you’re always welcome in the kitchens, and if there’s anything the palace might be throwing out that you think you can use all you need to do is ask

She’s very excited to see how you use those items, or if you plan to cook things yourself (she’s never really HAD to cook for herself, and likely only knows very basic things about it)

Chandra is a fancy bird and she will be nowhere near you while this happens

asra headcanon thoughts ⌇˚.༄

I think asra is a pretty good communicator most of the time, but due to his traumas, he struggles with communicating his emotions/bad thoughts. I feel like he’s so used to not being able to go to m/c that he struggles to go to them afterwards. I feel like the trauma of m/c shutting down when he’d try to tell them about their past really fucked with him more than we realize. let me break it down.

asra took a bit to open up to you before everything. and when he did, he gave their heart to you and you meant everything to them. and then he loses you, tragically loses you. they manages to bring you back to life, but with a price. he learned the hard way that he could not tell you anything about the past or what happened. watching how distressed you got was traumatic. and he always had to wipe your memories after that. after every time they’d try, your responses got worse than the one before. sometimes he’d try to talk to you about something that shouldn’t be a trigger, but was. it made them so scared to talk to you after that, he had no idea what could and couldn’t be a trigger. and he didn’t want to risk it, he didn’t want to watch you go through it over and over. they love you too much for that, and they’ve suffered a lot.

so after the events that took place in the game, he really struggled to go to you about his dark thoughts or his traumas. most of the time it was subconscious, he didn’t even realize. sometimes they’d try to go to you and freeze, not being able to. since he had opened up about what happened if he ever tried to tell you what happened, and all the other traumas that happened, you understood what was going on. you’d have to approach him first most of the time. hold their hand, give them a reassuring smile, remind them that everything will be okay. it takes a very long time for him to be able to go to you on his own and conquer his fears.

How to Hold Your Loved One

Super late because I lost motivation halfway through writing.

Kyle x Asra;

Due to height diffrance 4'4/5'8 for the most part Asra is the one holding Kyle during cuddles.

That isn't to say that it never happens the other way around. Most often is when Kyle is already lying down either while resting during a trip or lazing around the shop. When Asra decides to join, sometimes when they plop down, they'll rest their head on top of Kyle's chest.

When this happens Kyle will usually either run his hands through their hair or just mess around with it.

Sometimes when Asra is already laying down either taking a nap or resting, Kyle will sit down and gently move Asra's head into his lap. Usually whenever Kyle want's to join but doesn't feel like napping or laying down.

Another way is sometimes when Asra is sitting. Kyle will squeeze himself between Asra and the chair to mixed results depending on the chair/couch. If it fails, he can always curl up in their lap instead.

Kyle x Nadia

But also once again this doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all. The most common occurance is Nadia laying down with her head in Kyle's lap as he gently runs his hands through her hair.

Most of the time it's either combined with gentle praise and reminder how much has started to change for the better. Or just general loving. Much rarer is Kyle gently singing gentle songs.

For how awesome and great Nadia is she deserves to be held and reminded how loved she is.

Another rarer time is when Kyle wakes up laying across Nadia, but since Nadia and Kyle typically hold each other while sleeping, it's less common but does happen.

Hunter x Julian

Limbs everywhere. A leg there, an arm there, it almost always ends up with them looking like they tied in a game of twister.

Whenever theirs not enough room for a game of sleeping, twister I.E. on a couch or smaller bed, then typically Hunter wakes up on top of Julian acting as a makeshift heavy blanket.

When their not asleep and are just cuddling 50/50 on who's cuddled into who. As clingy as Julian can appear and as disinterested in cuddling as Hunter can appear, their both touch starved whether they'll admit it or not.

Hunter x Muriel

5'4 edge Boi x 6'10 soft boi

The most common cuddling position you'll find them in is Hunter in Mariel's lap. Even though Hunter thinks having Muriel lay down on top of them would be nice also knows Muriel would be too scared of squishing them to death to agree to it.

The closest Hunter got was when Muriel had a nightmare during their travels, and Hunter forced Muriel to rest his head on top of them and that it wouldn't hurt them. While using the new angle to braid and brush his hair until he eventually fell back asleep.

As they got closer, it isn't uncommon for Hunter to sleep on top of Muriel, not only acting as a weighted blanket but also putting Muriel's mind at ease since it'sharder to squish them like that.

Hunter x Portia

Hunter's favorite position is resting their head on her stomach. It's soft, warm, and safe.

They also enjoy curling around Portia, holding onto her like a plush. This is often returned with them changing positions often during the night.

A lot of the cuddles are Hunter leaning against Portia from behind. Usually kissing the top of her head. If she's baking, then usually while trying to sneakily steal a taste of whatever she's baking.

Bluebell x Lucio

Most of the sleep cuddles is Lucio glued to Bluebell's side with their arms and wings covering him. Both dogs lay across both of them, sometimes nosing their way underneath Bluebell's wing to properly join the cuddle.

When Bluebell initiates cuddles its usually them hugging Lucio from behind or the side. Burying their face into Lucio back or side.

Whenever they feel Lucio try and pull them into a hug, they typically hug him back completely.

The most common 'hug' is when Bluebell stands next to Lucio, letting him handle the social interactions and only stepping in when necessary. Cuddling into his side while letting him speak.

Due to their busy day to day life, most cuddling is either while walking or while getting ready to sleep or when waking up.

Definitely the kind of person to say it doesn’t count if the victim is rich (he’s right)

He’s gotten away with it dozens of times because he never took enough for it to be noticeable

He got a little cocky because he was trying to impress someone while drunk, hence being arrested

Blackmail and/or accidental insider trading

She is very much the kind of person to not think these crimes are serious, claims they are just “silly” (she is also correct)

Has been committing these crimes for so long that she doesn’t even bother to hide it anymore (and frankly, most people don’t bother to stop her because she seems harmless)

They let her go pretty quick though

Definitely because she’s innocent, and not because she has dirt on everyone in the legal system

💛Lucio💛

War crimes (canon)

Unfortunately he’s a famous and rich white guy, so he will not be facing consequences for his actions

💚Muriel💚

Committed no crime, was just in the wrong place at the wrong time

Dude has the worst luck; this happens to him all the time because he happens to be a great way of blocking cameras and shoplifters love him for it (they are why he now avoids shopping at busy times of day)

At this point the police don’t even have to question him, they just let him go because they know he’s a good guy

Shoplifts from major retail chains (not when Muriel is around, he knows what the poor guy goes through and wouldn’t dare)

Also believes that it’s not a crime (he is right)

Actually does not get caught because the workers are not paid enough to care— he’s actually on friendly terms with most of them

Possibly accidental tax evasion as well (he knows how to pay taxes, but with the strange variety jobs he has he probably writes off a lot of purchases that he’s later questioned about— they have yet to actually arrest him for anything though, he is somehow always right)

Genuinely has never done anything wrong ever

Except

One time when she was a teen, she bricked a police windshield at a protest

Never got caught though, and she knows enough to keep quiet

Would probably do it again if she knew she wouldn’t be caught

I kept daydreaming about it instead of actually writing what I was writing about though abdkdbs 😭 || Kinda just did the two that I could think of something for for now because I didn't want to leave you waiting for too long. Lucio

Lucio is borderline violent towards you when you first appear

Something just immediately let's him know it's you, the real you but he doesn't want to believe it

He can recognise the person that he had gotten close to. He's familiar with the choices you make, how you act, how you speak. And he hates it

He hates that you're here now. Now when you could have been there so much sooner

He's resentful and clings to the player, the apprentice that you spoke through to him, lashing out at you when you try to get close to him

He normally isn't like this. You know the Lucio that you had seen in the game. But this wasn't the same person

He was vulnerable. He was scared of losing you again. He was scared that you would leave him alone if he let you care for him

He says he hates you but then keeps you close to him at all times. He says he doesn't want you in his presence but prevents you from leaving. He wants to trust you like he did at the beginning but he's terrified and this fear becomes obsessed as it melds with his care for you

When he realises that you don't intend to leave, he won't let you leave. He doesn't want to let you leave. Not when you've left him alone for so long, keeping only a fake in your place

He sees it as you needing to pay him back for that in whatever way and for however long he sees fit

You should know already that he doesn't take well to not getting what he wants and he won't make any exceptions for you. Not when you had made no exceptions for his feelings.

Not when you got him to be so vulnerable with you only to break him down. He thinks it was cruel of you and doesn't want to be seen so pitiful ever again, and certainly not by you

Julian

To say that he would cling to you would be an understatement, at least after he has gotten over the initial shock and disbelief

For a time, he doesn't want to believe that it's you. He thinks that you're just anothet husk- magic seems to be good at making those- so he clings to your impersonation even more. He doesn't want to lose what little hope that you cared for him that he had left

At least through the husk you could speak to him even though never directly

It's when the husk stops responding to him, lifeless and devoid of- well- you, he begins to believe you

It's an almost instant switch as he clings to whoever or whatever can get him close to one of the few people that he has ever felt such genuine affection for and from

His loss of the other you, the apprentice and the realisation that this is you makes him all the more paranoid and scared of losing you

He lost you, the real you, once, in becoming self aware. He didn't want to experience it again. He was so lonely and here you were to fill up that hole

You made him whole and he didn't want to let you go

He'll get hurt as many times as he needs to if it means that you'll stay whether it be keeping you close to him or keeping others away. He can't risk it. He can't risk losing you or having someone take you away from him

He wants to act as though it doesn't affect him but it does. It really does. And you can see it in how he does whenever he can to reassure himself that it's you, an arm on your shoulder or hip or asking you to hold him, he needs to know that you're really here with him and not just another fake

He's willing to go so far as to get himself arrested if it means that you'll stay to take care of him and keep him company, just don't leave him behind

Réamuriel (Réamann/Muriel) in 5 minutes

Muriel's hut got a massive upgrade after the two came back from their travel, and since Khamgalai came along, she gave them some advice along with the tapestries they brought back. With Nadia's help (her architectural knowledge and financial help), they also built a small hut for Khamgalai nearby and improved Muriel's bathroom, which stands outside the living part (bedroom + living room + kitchen + dining room). It gives a feeling of "it's bigger on the inside!" afterwards.

Muriel and Réamann share a workshop - painting and instruments for Réa and sculpture for Muriel. Muriel has become the main supplier of various charms for Asra and Niamh's shop, he sometimes gives a hand there as well when the two are on a trip.

Réamann is a vegetarian, but he doesn't impose his feeding regime on either Muriel or Khamgalai, as long as they don't bring the dead animal(s) and skin or prepare it in front of him, he's okay with them eating meat or fish. They use a spell so he doesn't get uncomfortable with the smell when they cook it. However, Muriel and Khamgalai don't eat that much meat - Muriel still loves eels and Khamgalai likes fish dishes - so they share many vegetarian meals together, exchanging recipes, etc.

Muriel discovered he actually likes taking care of his home - being a bit of a househusband - and learnt how to sew and embroidery. He often does needlework in the evening or along with Khamgalai, Inanna resting her head on his knees.

While still reserved and a bit shy, Muriel learnt to open up and shows his affection and love towards Réamann more openly than before. He isn't into huge PDA, but he doesn't mind holding his husband's hand or sharing a quick kiss in public anymore.

Réamann is a tiny bit clingy sometimes, still anxious about losing someone he loves. He can go a bit feral when you insult his loved ones in front of him. That is why he's more likely to die protecting Muriel (it won't happen though).

Yes, Réamann calls Muriel "my Carebear" in private, I regret nothing!! XD

if you’d like some they might make you something to drink while you both do your own things

Faust alternates between you both :))

They love to gaze at you sometimes, even if you’re doing the most simple thing in the world

it’s that look of adoration and love that makes even the most confident person flustered

it’s up to you to say something about it or just look back at him

Sometimes if you listen closely you can hear them humming a song while they do their own thing

Julian

he’s tricky

sure you can do your own thing but he might just stare at you for ungodly amounts of time

the man can’t sit still for two seconds so, good luck

if you don’t mind the noises from him doing 6 things at once then congratulations, you’ve finally found a way to show your love language

but you’ll also hear the lovely sound of Julian muttering to himself

the most random things too, like “we need more ink” but he says it while he’s watching you cook or something??

your love language and hers fit perfectly together

she might have paperwork she’s doing and you can do your own thing without feeling too neglected

don’t be fooled, she still takes breaks, and steals glances at you

chandra hoots at the both of you when she’s starved of attention or you’re not resting when it’s late

Nadia does stare but rarely allows herself to be caught >:))

Her and chandra just think you’re a dream come true, for chandra is just bc you’re so good with feeding her

it happens so much

he might have to do something while you’re focused on something else, so he just, keeps the comforting silence while he works

he does feel a little awkward sometimes but he’ll learn that you just enjoy his presence and don’t need to hear him talk
