Just reading the bachelorette series now, and i noticed your notes about how you had plans that did not go with the votes. i would love to know how you actually pictured it to go if there was no voting!

this is one of the best asks I've ever gotten, thank you so much and sorry it took some time to reply but since it's been a long time since I wrote it I had to go back and refresh my memory 😅

gonna keep it under the cut cause it gets a bit long and also not to give spoilers if anyone hasn't read it yet!

so the first one was winwin: I was planning on giving him the shy guy slowly opening up to the bachelorette character, but since he was cut off on episode 2 there was no time to build it up so he got eliminated for being shy and quiet :(

for mark: I wanted to give him a whole sweet guy next door type of interaction with the bachelorette, guitar serenades and all, and I was hoping he got far on the series but ended up leaving in episode 2 as well :(

regarding lucas: I don't really remember but I think it would be in the lines of them knowing each other on the past but actually being a "one that got away" situation rather than him having dated her best friend but well I was able to turn it around nicely with him going out on episode 2 as well

I didn't wrote a note on this but for kun: I wanted to give him opportunities to showcase his magic tricks and all but no big plot there anyway and he ended up leaving on episode 3

then we have shotaro: he was hanging on a string every episode and when I finally saw him getting the most votes to leave it broke my heart, I struggled to find a nice way to send him away :(

as for the doyoung situation: I don't know where that came from, I guess I just wanted to add some drama 😅

the renjun/hendery drama: also not planned, I love them both but everybody seemed to eng+joy the bickering even if they left right after each other 😅

taeyong: I meant it when I said I knew he wasn't getting to the end and his time would eventually come but I felt it my bones T_T

the jeno spin off announcement: he was so popular throughout the series that when I wrote the special episode I knew I had to do something to show he was a fan favorite, I was asked if I was going to write it but there's no way I'm getting into a series like this again 😅

jaemin not winning: this man was hands down the most voted to get the last rose every single episode except the one that counted the most! I felt really bad and I debated a lot on wether to count the whole journey of votes of just the final one but ended up staying faithful to the last round of votes as I felt it wouldn't be fair but damn you guys are crazy for making me turn things around like that!

last but not least, the winner yuta: at the end of the day I was also happy he won, as much as I was rooting for jaemin, cause I was really devoted in building the story for them to be together, I think it still made sense to be yuta

Hi hello I'm back! I got myself lost in the hype of Rune Factory 3 rereleasing so I disappeared for a bit. But Im back now! Heres the Bracelet Girls dressed as some of the bacholorettes!

Yuzu! I was debating between going for either Shara (flower girl vibes) or Pia (in reference to my mermay piece, pink hair, and the fact that shes the girl im going for in my current run), but ultimately thought Shara fit her better.I absolutely adored Shara as a kid, and when RF5 came out last year, I always wore the Shara outfit. And Yuzu looks great in it! Im very happy with how it turned out, it really fits her aesthetic.

There was only one of the bacholorettes that I was gonna go for with Serena, and that was Raven. They have the exact same vibe in my opinion. I dont know if Raven's outfit really matches her color pallet, but eh. I like drawing Serena with her hair down.

RINRIN♡ Rin started this whole idea for me. I originally compared her to Carmen, and then thought she was quite a bit like Marian as well. I decided to go with Marian because Wind Witch vibes. This started out as my least favorite when Id sketched it, but i ended up really happy with the details when Id finished the coloring!

In my opinion, Ruri doesnt really have a bacholorette in RF3 that I can compare her too. She reminds me more of Felicity in RF1 or Leann from RF2. So it was down to whichever RF3 bacholorette I thought her aesthetic matched to the best- Sofia or Sakuya. I went with Sofia because I think the colors of the outfit would go better with the rest of the girls. I feel like im not really great at drawing Ruri though, so I hope to draw her more in the future.

My bachelorette party was a girl's weekend where we just got a air bnb and hung out (in Salem, Massachusetts which Jill is probably scared of but that's beside the point). We went sight seeing, hiking, ate at nice restaurants like remove the wine and it was perfectly "clean" and I know of a ton of girls who do similar stuff without strippers or crazy bar hopping (actually have been to more parties like mine than with strippers and stuff). These people act like it's mandatory to go full feral just bc you're calling it a bach party, anything can be a Bach party, it's so stupid and you're right, incredibly self righteous.

reality tv au: perhaps? i love their potential especially as a comedic au (your brilliant elhani bacholorette fic comes to mind <3), but the major stopping point for me is the large cast i’d want as i tend to hone in on a ship when writing and most of the reality tv i’ve seen falls under cooking/designing/modeling competitions...maybe a late stage fic? i will have to consider this more ^.^
