RAGAMASTER GANG DESIGNS/CONCEPTS!!! [UP TO DATE!!!]

zoob's is more of a rough concept, but its definetly getting close to what i imagine them to be! i referenced things like old vintage circus wind-up toys and mix-and-match toys for them! one thing i noticed in particular is that the colors on the vintage toys tended to be mainly bold primary colors with maybe some licks of green here and there, so i tried to keep that in mind while applying zooble's colors!

i also imagine that like stated before in the previous posts, the materials of their body parts are similar to the ones found in vintage toys, such as wood, tin, rubber, and hell even some springs. i imagine their head and body is made out of chipped/ worn wood, their limbs out of either rubber or springs (tin for the claw), and their wings to based on foam with stiff fake feathers, like the ones on angel ornaments!

i imagine their wings are probably more of a pain and a dead weight on zooble's back rather to be of actual use, however they CAN move them! i think they're probably too cumbersome and heavy to fly with, but tbh drawing them flying is kinda fun LOL.

the deer antler on the left side of their head is made out of birch bark, while the goat's horn is made of stone!

and yes, they DO have a functional wind up, but i have a feeling that nobody really touches because they KNOW zooble would flay them alive if they DARED to LMAO.

He rasped out, one hand rising up, pointing a threatening, naked finger directly at you. It seemed as though even the muscles in his fingers had tensed up entirely. 'Oh shit.' You thought to yourself. What did you do now? Did you say something wrong? Teased him one too many times? But your thoughts halted once his hand switched to show his thumb pointing at Bakugou himself. "I'M TAKING YOU TO THE ARCADE! THIS SATURDAY, TWO PM!" He barked out. You could see his face now. His jaw was clenched shut, his teeth pressing together in tension while his red eyes stared seemingly into your soul. Like he was trying to intimidate you, distracting you from what might be the sound of his heart pounding in his chest, like it was about to explode. "Uh." Was your first reaction. "O- Okay?" Was your second. "GOOD." He yelled. Shoving his hand back in his pocket, he turned around, snapping his head back down into its previous position as the stomped off. "DON'T BE LATE!" He added as he fled the interaction.

"Huh." You thought to yourself.

Rewatching terminator randomly and I'm looking out for stranger things related stuff lol

Sarah Connor worked in a diner at the beginning she wasn't in the military so if she would be in st that could make sense too, or maybe just be someone that knows everything about the UD before things start and she's not completely clueless like Sarah was

Nancy has a parallel with Kyle when they both cut the rifles to use short guns on their enemies

Kyle also talks about the terminator to Sarah exactly like Will talks about Vecna to Mike (interesting that they end up being a couple)

The iconic shot of the terminator arriving at the beginning also reminds me of Vecna when he goes down from the vines, I'll see if I find the pics later

At one point Terminator is hurt and repairs itself so I think it's possible there are going to be scenes of Vecna healing himself probably through the vines of the upside down, Terminator also sort of lost an eye lmao very Vecna of it

In the movie they constantly put lyrics of music in the background that corresponds to what's happening in the scene like we have seen the Duffers do often in stranger things even if people think it's not true

At one point Sarah and Kyle have a scene where she's bandaging his wounds and then she falls asleep and wakes up with him caressing her and now I can't stop thinking what if it happens with Mike and Will 🫶 actually even the whole love confession scene is very interesting parallel wise although I don't think Will is going to die like Kyle, but basically he was in love with her since before he even met her so a long time and he's also making her feel special when she thinks she's just a normal random person... Also I'm not sure about if it will be but if time travel is involved it could be cool if Will rewrote the timeline to save Mike and then after that they had the love confession + first kiss etc

Kyle says they use dogs to spot terminators.... All the dogs always bark in stranger things when Vecna is near

Terminator uses the voice of her mom to trick Sarah into telling him where she is, what if Vecna does the same next season

I theorized that the light in the upside down could work as a wormhole for time travel possibly and in terminator they say that you see white light while going back in time

At the end of the movie the only thing that remains of the terminator is its hand, I can see this happening to Vecna tbh

They say "there's a storm coming" and the movie ends with her in her car, they took that from here too probably

When you're not there he walks your dogs for you and when you ARE there you both walk them and play with them together 🥺. And Jack boy also does from time to time too!

He wakes up with them in bed and just smiles and pets them 🥹 "Hi. Good morning. How did you sleep?" This man definitely talks to them like they're people ESPECIALLY when no one else is there to hear him 😂😂🥰🥰. Like if he's making himself breakfast and he can't decide what he wants to drink "coffee or juice?" And the bark and he smiles and nods "Coffee. Good choice."

He gives them pats and scratches and rubs and pets all the time. And you come home finding them all snuggled up being all cute so of course you have to take a photo of it!

I also see him being able to just sort of have them as his support. Like he can talk to them, play with them, snuggle with them. Whenever he's sad or lonely. Or just wants to distract himself from his thoughts or work. Especially when you're not there. They give him something to focus on.

He loves you and your precious pups.

I had to take a vigorous walk around the block and a shower before I could sit down to write this, lmao.

God, nonny, they are So Much. An unbelievable amount, even.

To step back from the mythical framing for a little bit and to just look at them as people, one of the things that makes me bark like a dog the worst is how all of the Epitaph are all circling and struggling with the similar kinds of of identity issues -- presumably being the reason the Epitaphs attached themselves to them, there's no room in the mind of people who are too secure in who they are to carry the duties of a Phase with them.

Each of the Epitaphs represent the temptation to fall into a variety of self-protective but futile failure modes that let you define yourself on your own terms but ultimately limit growth, and while I have thoughts about all of the Epitaph users and how they interact with each other, I definitely think Haseo and Ovan get the version of it that is the most brutal in its compatibility.

For Haseo, Skeith represents a temptation to do as thou wilst, to eschew a communal and social identity in favour of only exclusively defining himself -- which is, incidentally, how Ovan comes across initially. You could not find a guy who moves through the world with more assurance and less need to explain himself. Ovan appears to have a kind of singularity of identity that nobody else can get a word in edgewise -- and Haseo, who spends a lot of time feeling off and unsure and wordlessly anxious about having lost sight of who he is, that's like the holy grail.

Of course, the reason Ovan is so singular in his identity is because his sense of self is practically transparent and he exists almost exclusively as the life-support system for a machine that makes Aina happy. From the start, there's no way for Ovan to recognise Haseo the way he wants to be recognised because Ovan barely knows who he is, let alone what Haseo sees in him that is so admirable because Ovan is just reflecting back the thing Haseo wants to see in himself.

Because in contrast to the fundamental mistake in Haseo's thinking, Ovan is very clear-eyed about what Haseo is like. That's one of the core paradoxes of his character, he's very good at reading other people and completely oblivious to how they read him back. He's great at anticipating and manipulating people's behaviour, but is critically disconnected about how he should feel about the way other people feel about him. Haseo needs to see him as something to chase and grow into? Okay, if that's what he needs to be, it's as simple as that. The terms of their relationship are set forever now.

So, in a way, as much as Ovan's plan relies on Haseo growing as a person, as much as he frames it in those terms, what he actually needs is for Haseo to stay exactly the same. Stay exactly on the terms that Ovan needs him to stay on for his plan to succeed. Ovan can never let Haseo reach him because that would change the terms of their relationship, and make him truly unmanageable.

Which, really, is just how Ovan deals with everything in his life. He keeps it all at a distance, because he doesn't really have a sense of self to let people close to, except in the sense that he knows everything that has happened to cause this situation has been done by him, and that the only way to set it right is to find a way to cross himself out again. And if he has to let Haseo catch up to him, it's explicitly so Haseo can be his executioner, and help him rectify the mistake of existing in the world in the first place. Corbenik, the meaning of life and death, can only exist in the void.

And tbh, if Ovan's plans had actually worked out on the timetable he intended them to work out on, I think Haseo may have been fulfilled by that. From the start, he sees himself as the aspirant to Ovan's paragon, wants to reach him through his own effort, to exist in the world the same way he thinks Ovan does.

However, the rest of Haseo's arc is learning that none of us exist in the world alone. That we are defined by the experiences we have with other people. If he reaches Ovan and Ovan is no longer there, what does it still matter to have reached him?

What sports do you play/have you played? I played basketball for 2 or 3 years in grade school, played softball my freshman year, did golf for one summer in middle school, and i really enjoy disc golf now. However, my body rejects and makes me pay for even the most unassuming of activities, so I can't really do much at all without being in a tremendous amount of pain. I've also never been athletic and never enjoyed sports; my parents used to make me do one sport a year until I permanently injured both of my feet playing softball that I was allowed to just do extracurriculars instead.

Xiyouji & Monkie Kid spoilers and some complaining below, so read or ignore as you prefer:

tbh anon for as much as I found Mr. Six's "read the book" spiel annoying because of the lengths to which Flying Bark has now bent over backwards to change Journey to the West and like a LOT about og classic Sun Wukong's background and motivations specifically to centralize that emo monkey I actually do hope it gets more people to read Xiyouji so that they too can enjoy the whole murder/replace plot and cannibalism funtimes of the true and false monkey king arc lmao.

But at this point I feel more disappointed than anything else that Monkie Kid's writing decisions confirmed that in their canon we've got yet another western Journey to the West retelling where Sun Wukong is a blundering idiot, and not only that but he has now been confirmed to be a terrible strategist and a terrible friend, just like Macaque said. Plus there's been this kind of annoying writing choice to have these dramatic scenes that are all about how the monkey king ruined everything before following that up, sometimes much later, with a pretty hand-wavey line about maybe he's not that bad or that he had some actual reason for doing what he did. Doesn't feel that balanced friends! And it honestly is aggravating how even 4 seasons in and even when Sun Wukong was trapped in a hell scroll that forces you to watch your worst mistakes forever we still have no idea why he and the Demon Bull King had their battle, why he killed Macaque (but I guess even after the shadow simian revolved his entire life around getting revenge against him for 500 years that's all immediately forgiven now lol), and there's still no word on why the journey here ended so disastrously that all the pilgrims except Sun Wukong presumably died badly while he was left in a self-imposed exile for centuries. I mean, I and others have proposed that maybe it was because of the journey's hypothetical disastrous end that the monkey king ended up a wreak and went into a self-imposed exile? But Monkie Kid does have a tendency to make a lot of things Sun Wukong's fault...said it before, but it is still kind of wild that even Xiyouji Sun Wukong, the hyper murder monkey himself, never did anything as cataclysmic as put all of reality in danger through his dumb decisions lmao.

kazuha- hes best boi, also great crowd control

xiao- my first ever limited five star, i find his gameplay satisfying

lynette- power saving mode is a mood tbh

navia- she looks like taylor swift (one of my celebrity crushes and favourite singers), and she has a very interesting backstory. i can’t wait to learn more abt her

itto- dudes funny, especially in the english dub, and he makes literally every limited time event more enjoyable

ningguang- shes pretty and has a shit ton of money, and i like her dynamic with beidou

beidou- the first genshin character i truly took notice of, shes the reason why i got into the game in the first place. also counterattacking enemies is super fun, and she has nice titties

clorinde- she looks like caitlyn from league of legends, and her english voice gives me an eargasm. also i can’t wait to learn more abt her, and i look forward to seeing more interactions between her and navia

raiden shogun- booba sword, need i say more, and her gameplay is super fun too

nahida- shes so adorable and i would literally go to war for her, shes been thru so much and just needs a hug

collei- shes one of the most wholesome characters in the game imo

tighnari- hes so sassy and snarky lmao

yelan- mommy? sorry, mommy? this woman can step on me

furina- bratty gremlin with a tragic backstory, also has a very fun dynamic with neuvillette. all in all, i cant wait to learn more abt her

candace- shes pretty, and i love seeing her interactions with dehya

arlecchino- WOOF WOOF BARK BARK BARK THAT IS MY HUSBAND RIGHT THERE SHE IS THE LOML, I WANT HER TO STEP ON ME AND REARRANGE MY INSIDES UNTIL ITS THE ONLY THING I CAN FEEL

dehya- the first sumeru character i fell in love with, her design and backstory are to die for, its a shame her kit isn’t so great tho

diluc- tragic backstory and a complicated dynamic with kaeya, need i say more

eula- thicc thighs save lives, her interactions with other characters are also entertaining imo

shenhe- shes pretty and her backstory is kinda tragic, and her voicelines are also unintentionally funny “what exactly is teamwork” and “i just have to stand here, right”

kaeya- same reason as diluc, easily one of (if not) the most complex character in the game so far, always struggling between his kh’aenriah roots and his loyalty to mondstadt

My personal WRIOTHESLEY x MEIRIN headcanons (since we need more):

Wriothesley frowns when he sees you drinking something else than tea, but it's more on a playful side. He may sometimes even sip on his tea EXTREMELY loudly and say; "Mmh!~ that tea is SO delicious!". He's such a silly dog tbh. Its more playful for him, always adding a bit sillyness into your daily routine

Wriothesley sometimes random barks because he knows you see him as a dog. If you start barking too in exchange, he will always bark louder and maybe growl. Hes silly.

You like to ruffle his hair, and when you do so - he sometimes ruffles yours too to the instinct where your hair is a mess //aff

My headcanons for Haarlep, Dammon, Rolan, and Zevlor with shy gn s/o request is so good! I'm pleasantly surprised that you finished it already! I won't blame you if you took longer though! I love it especially Haarlep would actually love being with someone shy ☺️, he would try to get them out of their comfort zone often, he's fully aware of what he wants, he would order for them if they can't, he would bark at anyone who makes them uncomfortable 😡, he loves to introduce new things to them, he would be the type who would do acts of service, how nervous he would be if they go somewhere alone 😥, he may not fully understand how shy they can be but that won't stop him from trying to listen & understand 🥹, Dammon would understand better since he's not the most outgoing either, he's more than happy to stay at home with them if they don't feel like going out, he doesn't mind just sitting with them at a corner of his forge where isn't hot or sharp, he loves just being near them ☺️, he would be upset if they are 😠, he's an acts of service guy, he would order for them, Rolan would try to push them to do it since he's headstrong, he genuinely cares for them & wants to see them shine, it's best to tell him if he pushed too far since he has a thick skull 💀, he loves to spoil them 🥰, he won't let anything happen to them when he's around 😠, he would try to make them order for themselves, Zevlor would do his best to make them comfortable, he would only push when it's needed since he respects their comfort zone, he loves to spoil them & take them out, he's another scary dog privilege 😠, he would definitely order for them & remove them from any situation that made them uncomfortable, and he would often have a hand on them! This is so good 👍 especially since you never wrote for them before! I could feel how much efforts you put into it! That'd be the NOPE fanfic, which is 3422 words so far. I know, it's not a long thing, but I have bits and pieces for my WIPs before I polish and publish them.

3. Which WIP do you expect will end up the longest?

Maybe the Ashley Graydon Masked Apprentice AU? Depending on if I ever write more of it to create chapters.

4. Which WIP is your favourite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why?

The Trane one is fun because Jane is just so unapologetically mean as a narrator. And she bashes Troy a lot, which is awesome.

5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why?

Probably the bark bark bark one bc I want to match the beauty and darkness of the two pieces of fanart that inspired it. And I want people to read it, I don't want it written off as "oh emi, making hongou and the kurashikis like each other just like you tried to peddle back in 2012, huh?" Like, no - that's not what's happening there. They're working together but Hongou is very much a bastard and very much getting what's coming to him anyway.

6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why?

See above tbh. And I get nervous about the NOPE fic bc it's a finale of sorts to my series.

I... I don't know. Lots of them feature characters with just a glimpse of a canon personality, so it's unclear how "accurate" they are written.
