The Fantasy High player characters get in so many combat situations where I would just leave. I would just be like 'this isn't our problem' and encourage the rest of my party to withdraw as quickly and safely as possible. They're teenagers. Apologies to all my GMs but if I don't have to be in a fight and there's no clear benefit I simply will not be. I would've prioritised getting my party out of the nightclub and left the zombie DJ to his bloodbath. Now they're facing a concrete golem, fuck that. I would just leave.

So, after this post, I couldn't let go of this house. I decided to rebuild it in The Sims and then I had so much info I felt the need to share it. Other than commenting on some crazy aspects of this mansion, I think it can give some input/ideas for possible scenarios in fanfiction! (for one, I'd like to know what Eddie thinks about half of the features of this house lmao). My process was: canon information > actual house information > gaps I filled the best I could Disclaimer: keep on describing Steve's house however you want to!! This small hide-and-seek shrine in Setagaya in Tokyo is a so-called hokora (祠), a miniature Shinto shrine that is dedicated to minor kami not under the jurisdiction of any large shrine. This one doesn't even have its own name, as far as I can ascertain, though it's beautifully maintained. It's in a tree-lined street that happens to have a very good bakery and ice cream shop.

Back to the little shrine itself. I wonder who lives here. I like to think it's a dōsojin (道祖神 or road ancestor deity), protector of travellers, pilgrims and villages. I could be very wrong, but...that's what I imagine.

Another one based on uhh assumptions about Meursault's personality (or at least the hints we have) and his former employers' way of work. I'm quite sure that's a delicate subject for him, hence he politely declined answering any questions in front of everyone, but I figure he'd shed some more light on it if asked by a single person. It's also funny how Gregor's the one he talks to mostly so far, sure thing there's only been 4 posts but in 2 of them Meursault has a conversation with him. Guess I just consider Greg the kind of person you'd have a good talk with.

Slowly rotating a vague Cars ‘social media AU’ thingy in my head. It’s less an AU, and more just speculating about what the character’s posting styles would be like.

I imagine Lightning is a weird mix of ‘Sanitized self promotion that was 100% written by his PR manager’ and ‘Insane shit out of nowhere that gets him trending on twitter for a couple days’

Like, one day, he’ll post something like “Hey everyone! Excited for the race tomorrow, I hope to see you all there! -Kachow!” With a super professionally done photo of him with the details of the race edited alongside it. Then the next day he’ll post a shaky vertical video of him and Cal giving Jackson the middle finger while his back is turned, trying and failing not to giggle like stupid teenagers.

The racing side of twitter becomes basically unusable for the next couple days as, in classic twitter fashion, people take it way too seriously and start fighting. Jackson would 100% attract/cultivate the most RANCID stans on the planet.

They would absolutely doxx someone for disagreeing with them and only make the situation worse because they’re all petty, rabid and incredibly parasocially attached to him.

But…yeah. I feel someone would have a secret fandom tumblr but I’m not sure who……this is all just food for thought tbh.
