Danny, Sam and Tucker co-own a resturant. (Yes this is going exactly how you think if u got it) Danny makes the mascots, Tucker supplies the coding and Sam is both their biggest donor and takes over the vegan menu.

Surprisingly, the resturant goes extremely well and so far hasn't been robbed even though they're in Gotham.

They hire a nightguard just in case.

However, none of the three knew that a few specific ghosts keep coming back every night to possess the animatronics and have their fun while also throwing out intruders.

Jason Todd thinks that his bosses should've at the very least told him their mascots would try to put him in the grave again.

(They aren't but he doesn't know that and they don't know he's supposed to be here.)

I had assumed that all the lizards were puppets and the babies might be (couldn't find anything that would indicate otherwise) but. Salamander Janeway and Paris were played by human beings in costumes.

Susan Rossitto and Cindy Sorensen are the ones who played the Threshold lizards.

Both of them went uncredited and Susan Rossitto also passed away in 2013, but here are pictures of them:

you know what. I had a whole ass post in my drafts about the frankly unhinged and childish behaviour that still surrounds that 1 minute dinner scene despite how clear-cut it was... but I just remembered that being queer used to be illegal; in some countries as recently as during my lifetime.

not as in gay marriage, but as in existing as a queer person was illegal and punishable by law.

so idgaf about what some children bemoaning a fictional guy flirting with his own boyfriend say. I cannot be bothered about any of the people stirring drama and sending hate and all of that stuff... because it's not worth my time or my energy to even think about it, let alone address it.

if your life is so miserable that some ship wars and whatnot can rile you up enough to behave this disgustingly towards other fans, largely queer fans no less... I have no understanding or empathy, but more importantly; I have no time for you.

I am just here to enjoy a TV show full of queer rep that treats me and my peers with respect and doesn't other us in any way. and I am grateful to live during this era and not the one where two men holding hands could've gotten them killed. bless.

It's actually kind of heartbreaking how many people feel their life has ended right after high school or college, and honestly, the heavy romanticization of that period of time is so overwhelmingly predominant that it can be hard to avoid. It's insidious to constantly be told that ages 10-24 are the only worthwhile parts of life, that everything after is essentially meaningless and dull.

It's hard not to look around you and think that your life still is open and full of potential when you're told over and over again that the rose-tinted childhood is the last time you were alive. It's hard to realize that your life isn't over when you walk off the stage of your graduation.

We must realize that we will always be full of potentials. Your life won't be over until you take your final breath, and then? That's simply another chapter in your story, one of many. Let yourself realize that you're alive in the here and now. There will be good and bad, but never a complete loss of potential or hope.

first art post of the new year!!! granted, i don't share my art here that much anyway, but– shhh.

hehehehhhooo,, here's something i've been working on for 'bout a month,, albeit not consecutively– took a few,, very very long breaks in between working on this,, but i managed to finish it in the end! am i satisfied with it? .......ehhhh? not completely, but if this took any longer, it might not have seen the light of day, so like. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

anyway,, made a little poster for my favorite fic, tommyinnit's services for villains, vigilantes, and various other vagabonds, by @scorpionoesit!!! it's really really good,,, and i've always wanted to make more art for it,, so i decided– poster! at least,, that's what it's mean to resemble,,, dkdmkdmdkd.

i will freely admit,, i'm... not the biggest fan of the fan-made logo i tried to design for it,, feels a bit boring, and could definitely have used a bit more pizazz, something to make feel more like the fic itself(what does that mean? you figure that out),,,, but– again, steam was running low,, dkdnksjs. graphic design is my passion. i do also have other complaints, but i'm afraid i already punched my one-use self-critique card,, oh well,,, dkdnkxjdkd.

regardless,, even with the flaws only i can really see,, this still turned out pretty okay!! hope you enjoy it, mx. scorpio and mx. alibi!!! and i hope everyone else has a wonderful new year!!!!

I don't think she had bad hair in s1 or s2, but I'm excited that they're actually giving the Black girls Black hairstyles instead of having them wear it out.

Before, it felt like the (all-white, for context) hair department was just ignorant about Black hair, so they put wigs on the Black actresses and only did styles that also work on nonblack hair for their own sake/convenience. This theory was especially supported by the fact that Tara, whose 4c hair couldn't really be styled the same as nonblack hair, wore a twistout that would take literal hours to do every day, but she had box braids in s2! and Elle has box braids now!! I'm so excited!!!

I also feel like this fits her bold, fashion-loving personality so much better than leaving her hair out. Our hair is basically its own accessory, and the long box braids are very feminine. Again, I'm not saying not having a protective style isn't feminine or fashionable (I myself am a fashion girlie with an Afro), but having one is another outlet for her creativity, and I'm glad they're recognizing that now.
