too much - mike schmidt x reader
You get a kick out of this more than you like to admit.
Mike arches under you, whimpering as he does, cheeks flushed with red as you coo at him, thumb brushing his cheek to wipe the tear sliding down.
"Too much?" You slow down, earning a whine from Mike.
"N-no. More. Please." He gasps, fingers curling uncomfortably at his side, staring up at you as you nod. "'s good." he slurs.
You start again, breathing uneven as your eyes go half-lidded, lifting your hips and slamming them down, Mike's fingers digging into the sheets, desperate to grab onto something.
"Please." He breathes. "Please let me touch you."
An agreement slips past your lips, and he wastes no time planting his hands onto your hips, helping you ride him, his hands warm on your skin as your brain turns to mush, desperate to get off with him, no other thought in mind.
It comes much quicker with Mike helping, and his eyes shut as you cum, him following immediately after as he spills into you with a whine, his fingers gripping you so hard you're sure they'll leave red marks. You lift yourself off of him, feeling his cum slide down your thigh onto his hip, and you rest your head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat as your blinking slows.
"Was I good?" Mike mumbles.
"You were great, pretty boy."

But it's the fact that Will is allowed so little happiness compared to the other main characters. I feel like the last time he was really, genuinely happy was at the end of season 1, and even that was tempered by the fact that he'd spent the entire season up to that point being lost, traumatized, attacked, and violated by monsters. Then in season 2 he gets possessed and watches powerless inside his own body as so many people die defending him, protecting him, trying to save him, including the man his mother loved, a good man who had been nothing but kind to him. In season 3 his friends abandon him for romance, and he finds himself alone, stuck in a childhood he is no longer allowed to have, while his friends move to an adolescence which, for different reasons, is equally off limits to him. Then as of the beginning of season 4, he's moved away, lost all of his friends at once, and spent most of his time away pining for them, pining for someone who used to be his best friend who is now actively ignoring him. He gets a friend back just in time to be shot at, watch another brave man die to protect him, and bury that man in an unmarked grave in the desert with his own two hands.
He gets nothing that he wants. He gets no one to be his. All of his friends and family have found people who are more important to them than he is, who they like spending time around more than him. When his life isn't abandonment and loneliness, it's a nonstop train of trauma and violence. And yet he still finds it in himself to create, to pour his heart and soul into something to give to someone he loves, and then
And then I see the preview and I'm like
You have got to give him something. You have got to give this kid a win. How much more do you expect this child to endure? How much more heartbreak and misery and trauma and violence and death can you put upon someone before you cut them a fucking break?

The significance of the byler scene in Will’s room just hit me.
Think about it. Mike said the best thing he’s ever done was ask Will to be his friend.
So I don’t ever want to hear anyone downplaying the importance of that scene in 4x04. Mike was literally beaming and smiling more than we’ve seen him smile in ages, and there’s a reason for it! Because he was out here recreating the best thing he’s ever done 😭

so @foodiewithdahoodie shared some amazing ideas for a story with me a bit ago, and I went wild for a bit. I have some fully done pieces, but I am just throwing some of the doodles without any explanation ~
