sometimes I think about how robin hood is canonically a true persona of akechi's and that means that some part of the detective prince act was true. does akechi even know that himself??? or does he believe he can only ever be the black mask???? does he even realize some part of him truly wanted to bring justice and not just hate fueled revenge???

He is here! The Ace Detective Prince, Goro Akechi!
He didn't do anything wrong. Afterall, he's just a lil' guy Look at 'em. Just a lil' guy. A lil' innocent lil' guy.
He's here to catch a lil' bastard thief, a criminal trash who lives in an attic roaming around and stealin' hearts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ah sorry, he was just passing by and he heard something about delicious pancakes.
I tried making them interact but I failed. i mean it works but idk how to make it work properly. It just made Akechi interact with another Akechi rather than Joker so... yeah no.
If you're curious, the failed interaction sprites are in the unused folder.

You know Shinichi would make the best persona 4 protagonist ( Will after he gets over his brief panic over the whole tv world thing)
But Kaito? Built to be the persona 5 protagonist Would be even funnier if he still acts as phantom thief kid while doing the Phantom thieves of Hearts thing. He'll be p***** for getting arrested for such a stupid reason. He's just the right amount of unhinged for joker
Honestly I can see both both ways. Yes Shinichi naturally slides into being a detective and Kaito a Phantom Thief of Heart, but Kaito's far from unobservant and is extremely good at reading people. He's probably figure out the culprit much sooner than the canon group did.
Meanwhile Shinichi is, how do I put this, far less married to the law than he'd like to believe. Like he absolutely sees himself as lawful good, but the truth of the matter is he will ditch the law in half a second to do what he thinks is right. (Examples include regularly drugging a detective, working with a foreign agency who absolutely does not have the rights to be in the country, and lets not forget during the Iron Tanuki that he actually seemed kind of eager to help Kaito pick the safe)
And given he absolutely has his mother's sense of drama, I think he'd be as good a member of the Phantom Thieves as Kaito. Also I think he would take Sketchy Akechi the Detective Prince personally

Phantom Thief outfit breakdown: pt 7
This is a continuation of my previous post and series regarding my opinions on the phantom thieves' metaverse costumes, prompted by a poll by @waywardsalt. I will link all of these together as they're finished.
Akechi - Ann - Makoto - Sumire - Futaba - Yusuke
Next Up: Detective Prince Akechi! It's time for the marching band prince outfit. This one is much more break down than changes tbh.
Tumblr media
For some reason he doesn't have a piece from the set of official art I've been including, so he gets this (does let us see the back though). I'm starting to see more and more people say they think this one is hideous, but I actually don't agree! From a design and character perspective, this outfit is striking, very coherent, and richly detailed without feeling overly cluttered. I think part of the reason it's so jarring is because its so on the nose for the prince personal and thus comes across as sort of childish and impulsive, like it was chosen on a whim, but I do think that's intentional. The purpose of this outfit is to contrast directly with Joker's, the white counterpoint to his black ensemble, lure the thieves into a false sense of security, and to make the black mask outfit more of a shock, and it accomplishes this in my opinion.
I also like that's its a subtle form of rebellion that's very specific to Akechi's situation; he's a bastard child being used by his powerful father with little recognition, so the idea of being a prince, someone powerful and important because of his birth and his familial connections, IS a form of rebellion for him. The rest of the thieves (besides Futaba and Joker, who're there for the 8/28 trauma dump) don't know this though, so it flies over their heads. It's the pristine, white prince to the black mask's dark knight.
The most obvious inspiration here is the fairy tale prince aesthetic, playing off his media moniker, but it also incorporates a significant amount of formal military regalia. I'm not super familiar with this particular branch of history and fashion, but it seems very European 1700s and 1800s to me, very Napoleonic. The white color seems very Napoleon's Grande Armee to me, but the cut, double row of buttons, and shoulder epulettes scream 1912 American Navy full dress uniform. Ironically, this mix of military gravitas and fairy tale stylization means that the outfit ends up looking startlingly similar to the duelist uniforms of Revolutionary Girl Utena in my eyes, which is probably not the exact vibe they were going for.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The red and gold accents help break up the monotony of the white very well, and the piping on the arms and legs provide a nice lengthening effect. The mask is very interesting, because while it follows the European vibe, its distinctly not military; instead, it pulls on two different types of masks: the zanni and the plague doctor mask. The zanni mask is Italian, named for the character it denoted in commedia dell'arte plays; this character was a servant from the countryside and often a trickster character, which nicely alludes to how Akechi is the rival trickster to Joker in Yaldaoboath's game, as well as the way he's intentionally tricking both Shido and the thieves. The plague doctor mask is, obviously, the mask worn to prevent the spread of the black plague during medical examinations and treatment during its outbreak in the Renaissance, and I presume it relates to Akechi in the way he's been treated as a pest his whole life and is trying to maintain distance with the thieves during Sae's Palace.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's no real changes I'd make here; I think this outfit does its job wonderfully, with a wealth of attention to detail and well used motifs. Most distaste with the costume is probably personal preference and the shock it gives you the first time you see it. It's definitely not something I'd ever wear but it gets the job done well. I place it 4th out of 10, with a solid score of 7/10.

Had a great time trying to mimic a Film Noire style poster of the Detective Princes for @upzines [on twitter] print!
ID under cut
[Please don’t use She/Her for Naoto]
A black and white movie poster style illustration of Naoto Shirogane and Goro Akechi from the Persona series. They're depicted in typical detective fashion, holding their guns whilst backlit in an alleyway. There are many posters on the wall with references to different events in the persona timeline, and a shadow of Joker on the wall. The front of the alleyway has caution tape across it and has clear signs of rain on the cobblestone flooring. The text on the image has the Rank Up zine logo on the top left corner and subtitles reading "Naoto Shirogane and Goro Akechi, Detective Princes, The case of the phantom thief" to mimic a movie poster. End ID

The Spy and the Liar is a Shuake song. Yes, I know I've said it before, but I'm going a lot more in depth here. I've listened to it over and over, and have noticed just how much of the song can relate to Joker and Akechi. I will be explaining my thoughts processes here today.
"From the spotlight
I can see you"
This line works so well, As both the start of the song and their relationship. It's their first meeting, With Joker in the crowd and Akechi up on the stage, and yet Joker still catches his eye.
"Play your cards right
Kill your stage fright
This could be you"
This one might be a bit of a stretch, but this line symbolizes what Joker could have become. He didn't have to help people. He didn't have to become a phantom thief. He had the same powers as Akechi, he could've done the same thing. If he had played his cards right, he could've been up on that stage alongside him.
"If the whole worlds a stage
Let’s set it on fire"
This line I don't really have much for, but I'd love to hear what anyone else has!
"So you be the spy
And I’ll be the liar"
While there is a lot here, I feel it fits a lot better with another line, so I'll save that explanation for then
"From the background
You can hear me"
This is another line I don't have much for.
"Highest billing
Makes a killing
They revere me"
This line helps to represent just what Akechi is doing with with his gift. He's using it for fame, popularity. Something he has over Joker. People know his name, Know who he is. He isn't just some nobody like Joker.
"That beautiful mask you wear
Is all I desire
So you be the spy
And I’ll be the liar"
Here we are. The chorus. Let's start with the first two lines. It helps to represent just what Akechi wants to do. He wants to tear Jokers mask away. He's supposed to be this great detective prince, So why can't he figure out some kid with fake glasses? It infuriates him, He just wants to figure it out. To tear away the mask and see who Joker really is. But in the end, he just can't. Like a spy, Joker seems to always be one step ahead of him. No matter how much Akechi lies, how many masks he wears, Joker seems to see right through him.
"Face to face to face again
And through the camera lens we ascend"
Another line I don't have much for.
"You’re a minor part
I’m the major star
Ha!
The credits arе more than just the end"
This one is a bit obvious. It's a bit more on how Joker is basically nothing compared to him. Jokers but a mere stepping stone in Akechis path, at least in his eyes. As well as he's telling Joker to not call things too early. Like Okumura for example. They thought they were done, the credits rolled... But Akechi got the last laugh.
"‘Causе the truth is
I despise you
I will tear apart
All these works of art
That disguise you"
Here it is. The big reveal. He hates Joker. He wants to tear off their mask. To see who they really are. To destroy the person who has been ahead of them time and time again.
"I’m makin’ the final cut
It’s down to the wire"
Another line I don't have much for. This is the last of those though.
"So you’ll be the spy
And I’ll be the liar
And I’ll be the liar
And I’ll be the liar
And I'll be the liar!"
The final line. The chorus one final time. And the repetition. We've already been over Joker being the spy. But Akechi. He's confessed everything. His hatred. His rage. How he truly feels. And yet, He's still lying. All he really wants is one final game of chess.
There it is! That's everything! This is the first time I've done anything like this, so if it's bad, that's completely understandable! I hope at least one person ends up enjoying my take on this though!

Mementos.
God, Ryuji fucking hates Mementos.
Dark and dreary and full of evil things that formed in the collective unconscious of everyone. It’s oppressive and cold and Ryuji has to fight his memories along with Shadows.
At least his friends come with him, at least he and Makoto fight together, at least Ann makes sure they don’t run themselves into the ground, at least Joker keeps a cool head when dealing with powerful Shadows and hostage situations.
Ryuji has been the bargaining chip in way too many hostage situations.
Things... shift when Akechi comes with them. Now he’s fighting alongside someone he would rant about, someone he used to despise.
It’s awkward, sure, but Ryuji is determined not to let that affect how they fight.
So when he (rather unceremoniously) pushes Akechi out of the way of an attack, he thinks nothing of it. It keeps the darling Detective Prince out of the way of danger- that’s all that matters.
Protect. Attack. Dodge.
It’s a steady rhythm, one he’s good at. One he can follow. One he can keep up with.
He’s good at attacking. He’s good at protecting. He’s... decent at dodging. He can duck out of the way of physical attacks, at least. That has to count for something.
When Akechi catches his balance, he gives Ryuji a dirty look that goes completely ignored. Ryuji is too busy blasting the Shadow to smithereens with Captain Kidd.
He knocks one down, gets a chance for a follow-up attack. He passes the opportunity to the guy he just shoved.
Akechi’s hand smacks against his, and Ryuji notices the way he almost winces. If he feels a pang of guilt for accidentally hurting a teammate, no one has to know.
Akechi summons Loki, finishes the job Ryuji started, smiles in satisfaction.
They move on, further and deeper into the place Ryuji fucking hates.
As the rest of the team moves towards the escalator down, Akechi turns to Ryuji.
“Don’t fucking push me like that again, Skull.”
Ryuji falters, hearing the venom and malice in Akechi’s voice. He turns around, trying to find some clue on Akechi’s face as to why he seems so pissed.
“Dude, I was just tryin’ to help. I took the blow for you, didn’t I? You coulda, I dunno, told me in a nicer way that you didn’t want me to do that. No need to get hostile,” he says, hiding his hurt.
His worth as a Phantom Thief hinges on how helpful he is to the team. If he can’t save his own teammates, how can he be expected to save people by changing their hearts?
He couldn’t save Shiho, he couldn’t stop her from jumping. He couldn’t save Mishima and the volleyball team, he couldn’t save them from being beaten black and blue. He couldn’t save his mom, couldn’t stop his dad from slamming her head against the wall and screaming at both of them-
“Skull? Oh my god, do you do this every time someone says something you don’t like?”
Ryuji looked up from the floor, head swimming. He was going to be sick. This place was bringing his worst memories to the surface, forcing him to remember all of the terrible things he had endured.
“...This place is going to make me throw up,” is all he says before turning on his heel and stumbling down the escalator.
He has barely enough time to warn the others about how he feels before he’s careening forward, world going darker than Mementos’s bottom level.
i love ryuji having a sort of "survivors guilt." he couldnt save people before so he deticates everything to saving his friends now. he probably feels like akechi is being an asshole to him trying to stop him from putting himself in harms way to save his friends but he really does care about him. he doesnt want him to get hurt because of other people but ryuji feels like he will only get worth from that.

okay I guess I have to be the Naoto enjoyer on main
do the ship bias meme for naoto
Send ‘Ship Bias’ and I will share up to 5 ships I have a bias for my muse!
Tumblr media
Yu (Obvious is obvious. We have the senpai/kouhai relationship going on, we have two smart individuals in their respective fields/interests, and to be fair they'd make quite a power couple too. But also, Yu cooking for her and making sure she's fed well and giving her LOVE AND ATTENTION SHE HASN'T HAD IN YEARS!! I'm just saying but...they have my whole heart as my favorite P4 ship.)
2. Yosuke (Yet another grumpy x sunshine ship I will fight about! Yosuke always reminds me of bright summer days and the warmth of the sun, while Naoto gives off the cooler vibes of nighttime and the moon. It makes for great dynamics and fun that Naoto needs. She NEEDS to let loose and learn how to have some fun!! Yosuke is one of the perfect candidates for that! And...I think she'd smile more if he's around too.)
3. Joker (THIS IS INCREDIBLY SELF-INDULGENT, BUT....YOU KNOW...PHANTOM THIEF/DETECTIVE DYNAMIC!! I WANT THAT FOR HER SO BAD!! The confusion, the realizations that hit her, the embarrassed moments she shares with him, the high flying adventures, the thrill of the chase, LITERALLY ALL OF THAT!!)
4. Chie (Rarepair alert!! Thank you Liz for dragging me into this pit with you since it's something I never expected to like but I LOVE NOW!! This does have some of that grumpy x sunshine dynamic, but it's more like an opposites attract situation. Both of them are TOTALLY different in every way possibly, but somehow they can get along together. And then it develops into SOMETHING MORE AFTERWARDS!!)
5. Akechi (....alright....okay....it's yet another self indulgent ship....but you know....the two Detective Princes...working together and learning together and maybe starting their own business together and then growing closeeeeeer to each other...yeeeeeeeeeah ^_^')

TELL ME ABT GORO AND MAKOTO TWINS AU. I ALREADY TREAT THEM AS WEIRD ASS SIBLINGESQUE RELATIONSHIP STUFF IN CANON SO GIMME THAT SIBLING DYNAMIC AMPLIFIED
UES OKAY
So they're fraternal twins. Goro is two hours older, as there were complications with Makoto and their mother. Makoto made it out, but, their mom passed. Goro jokes that Makoto killed their mom. She argues back that it was his giant ass baby head that killed her
For the first few years they're, actually good siblings. Hands held as they sleep as infants, babbling at each other happily. Goro cried on the first day of school when he discovered he was in a different class. They hugged after every school day back then
Constantly playing together and shit. There's a photo album that's just them, together. They were inseparable for a number of years
That. Changes though.
By the time they're in high school, they can barely stand each other. Goro, found their father. Hoping for validation and such, he left Makoto's side to do whatever Shido asked of him. Makoto, just kind of tried to focus on improving. Shes spent her whole life being second to her brother. She thinks it's about time she gets to be the one ahead
They spend more time in their own rooms. Silently sitting at opposite ends of the table. Glaring over their dinner. Goro doesn't want his sister to get in his way. He's going to make their father proud, have someone who sees him as an individual, not "Makoto's brother"
And. Makoto just wants someone, anyone to tell her she's enough. But if her own twin doesn't think she's good enough, who else would? She develops a little complex from it
Then, they reach their third year. The Niijima Twins are Shujin's shining idols. The friendly, smiley Detective Prince, and his twin sister, the icy Student Council President. Untouchable, many think
They're verbally abrasive to each other. At school, Goro has the polite tone, but he's mocking her. Using smart words to call her names. Makoto fumes and waits until they're home again to wrestle him to the ground, where they roll around and scrap like temperamental kittens
She calls him a bitch. He calls her detestable
Around the time she becomes a Phantom Thief, after the incident where Sae says she eats away at her life, "WHY CAN'T YOU BE MORE LIKE GORO?"
Makoto doesn't even make it to her room. She's kneeling in the hall, fighting back the tears, and she hears him stop right behind her. "Dear sister, crying over a few simple words? You really are weak."
"SHUT UP! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE, TO NEVER BE ENOUGH! I'VE BEEN SECOND TO YOU MY WHOLE LIFE, WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?!"
They don't talk for a week. Makoto becomes Queen, and. Some sort of confidence in herself starts to bloom. Goro begins to hate himself a little more, as Shido tells him to amp things up. He's more like Makoto than he thinks,
They are such toxic siblings for so long. And. In their Father's palace, Makoto gets her wish.
When the hatch closes, and they hear the shot, Queen falls to her knees, muttering soft "no, no-"
Joker is numb. Makoto is near hysterical. Someone ends up having to support her home. One of the others ends up telling Sae. The sisters fall asleep on the couch after crying for hours, hoping they'll wake up to their jerk brother making breakfast, cursing them out for buying only cheap coffee
He isn't there. He's gone
Makoto's twin brother, is dead
BUT SURPRISE THE THIRD SEMESTER HAOOENS AND HES BACK
They talk it out a bit. After, of course, his sister's crush him in a hug, Makoto smacks him a bit, Saw ruffles both their hair
Goro: did you miss me? Silly question, I know, after I've been so awful to you-
Makoto: of course I did. I'm incomplete without you. You're my brother, jackass. Despite how much you make me furious, I love you. If you die again, I'll kill you myself
It's a slow recovery from there. In Strikers, they take turns driving. At one point Goro breaks out his fake ID, getting them each a can of beer. They sit on the roof of the camper and slowly sip at them, talking civilly for the first time in. Forever
Just. Lots of shit like that.

akechi, and joker, why are you gay for each othee
We aren't. Again, I hate him, cannot stand him since he actively tried to kill me.
And Ryuji's my boyfriend, which you'll find is highly superior.
☆ Akiren 🗡️
I want to kill this shitty attic trash, I find this kind of joke highly distasteful! To suggest that the Detective Prince would ever degrade himself with the likes of a lowly thief!
But before you go I'll give you my one up card! I like Kitagawa.
☆ Akechi 🪦

My thoughts on the core members of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5! Spoilers ahead.
Kenta (Joker): he's just like me for real!
But seriously though, I really like Joker, and it's cool to RP as him, especially since the modern setting allows me to do so more naturally. I especially like fitting in pro wrestling related headcanons to his behavior (my headcanon is that Kenta is a huge pro wrestling fan, and before the events of the game was training to join a dojo after graduating HS).
Ryuji: THE BROOOOO
My favorite of the Phantom Thieves, his hotheaded and impulsive personality reminds me of a friend I have irl. For some reason his voice reminds me of Axel from KH despite the two having different VAs, and the two characters are quite different as well. He was the first confidant I completed, and maybe in a different timeline he would have been romanceable.
Ann: A rose by another name
Ann's very sweet and kind, and yet posseses tons of internal strength. Her whole story arc with Shiho and her recovery is so heartwarming it was hard not to shed tears during their farewell. Her VA also did an incredible job throughout the game, it's between her and Ryuji for best VA performance in my opinion.
Yusuke: Lorenz Hellman Gloucester, but poor
Really knocked me for a loop when I first saw this guy, but despite the looks he is quite different from his Fodlan doppelganger. His confidant cutscenes are some of the goofiest in the game despite (or maybe because of?) his serious demeanor. Yusuke also gets bonus points for introducing Hifumi Togo into the story, the girl I chose to romance in my first playthrough.
Makoto: Breaking the rules, for once
This is a very unpopular opinion, but I don't particularly like Makoto. Her whole "follows the rules but her true self wants to break them" isn't appealing to me, reminding me of a few other characters from other games and media I've never connected with. That said, I do think she has a great friendship with Haru, and their Showtime is incredible (it's a series of pro wrestling moves ending with a tag team finisher! They are in love a tag team your honor.)
Futaba: On the spectrum, off the wall
It's always interesting to see characters in video games who are autism coded, and while Futaba isn't perfect (of course she's a hacker and visits 4chan 🙄), it's the little details like her elementary school memories (surprisingly similar to mine) and the way she approaches her self improvement after having her heart stolen that really impressed me.
Haru: We fly balloons on this fuel called love
I'd been extremely exited to meet Haru from the first time I sighted her in game, as she's voiced by the same VA who voiced Marianne and I wanted to compare the two characters. In contrast to Marianne's gloomy demeanor that eventually turns hopeful, Haru is a beam of light right from the beginning. Her introduction as a Beauty Thief is the funniest gag in the game, and she keeps her optimism despite incredible hardship involving her father. Shame she's introduced so late, by the time I got her confidants I was already with Hifumi.
Akechi: I have forgiven Maxwell
The moment Joker met Akechi, this started playing in the background:
Hair jokes aside, Akechi's a fascinating antagonist: much like Kenta/Joker and his friends he's an outcast in Japanese society, an orphan living in poverty, and has only been accepted due to his newfound fame as the Detective Prince. While visibly he resembles Light Yagami, his personality reminds me of MJF, who also manipulated the people around him for his own gain. I haven't finished the game yet so I don't know if Akechi will repent, but MJF did turn face with Adam Cole's friendship, so maybe Joker can do the same to Akechi.

A wolf in sheep's clothing
I feel so bad for the asker on Ao3 lol. This one took me so fuckin' long to settle on an idea for, and on top of that, I struggled to write Akechi for some reason?? I dunno why, but he feels iffy here, as does Akira, but I need this little beastie out of my to-do's lol. I hope you enjoy regardless!
Kinktober Masterlist: Here
CW: Very mild. It's mostly just spanking. Semi-public if you squint, as well as dubcon, but I just let this be a simple tease rather than a whole thing.
Being who he was, Goro Akechi was essentially the king of the metaverse. Soaked deep into the collective consciousness of the public, he could reach the devil for tea, and with the experience he had in palaces, helping with Sae’s casino was a cake walk. Even if he was limited to solely using Robinhood so as to not give himself away.
So, something as simple as breaking in after an expedition onto the game floor with the phantom thieves was meant to be quick, efficient, and utterly safe.
Yet...Loki still whispered in the back of his mind, “Maybe stick to robinhood. Kurusu seems like the type to explore on his own as well, and we wouldn’t want him of all people catching you.” “What would that do, though? I have a mask that hides my entire face in my other costume. All he’d see is a weird bird looking thing.” Akechi snorted, even as he worked his way through the more industrial-looking, less populated corridors of the palace. Not bothering keeping an eye out for shadows as he went. “Because I asked nicely. Just for the attitude, even if you DO try to call on me, I’m not coming out.” The bull huffed, and while Akechi was at least 60% sure his persona couldn’t disobey a summon, the petty threat still got his scarlet eyes to roll.
Loki was a bit favored, the brunette didn’t need to be the second coming of the detective prince to know that he preferred a persona more aligned with his true intentions and work than a sterile, goody-goody version. So, he could also admit to himself that his slight favoritism may have spoiled the demonic bull a tad. Leading to his ungodly annoying streaks.
But, regardless of Loki’s snobby power plays, or whatever weird bullshit was putting the monster on edge, Akechi did as he was told and kept to his princely, white-and-red costume with the embarrassingly long-nosed mask while he was studying the layout of Sae’s warped area.
The main floors had instantly been off of the table since he’d scoped the place out the first time. Simply too crowded and normal for him to be able to sneak away from the thieves if needbe, even with the distracting dance of lights and cacophony of sounds. So, that left the detective with the less guest-facing areas if he wanted any potential escape routes or stealth openings.
So, he took his time in his recon. Taking long moments to study any possible network of ventsilation shafts or hallways for a way to swing killing Joker without getting caught. Any shadow that dared to bug him simply got skewered by Robin’s arrows.
However, Akechi was prepared for a confrontation, even if it was with a phantom thief. What he wasn’t prepared for was to crawl halfway into a vent to peer down into the never-ending maw of cold metal, and hear the motor of a door or gate shutting. “Oh what the- AH!” In a matter of seconds, the great second coming of the detective prince...was trapped under a shockingly heavy metal gate. And, while Loki didn’t actually say anything, Akechi could feel the smug ‘I told you so’ rattling around his own head. “this is utterly fine.” He huffed out, planting the palms of his hands on the metal walls and trying to pull himself forward. “This is. Fucking fine.” Yet, much to his annoyance, the belt of his pants was too fat to fit under the garage door trying to seal the vent. “All I did was trip a single alarm. The gate’s not even crushing me, this is manageable.” “Are you sure about that, Crow? You seem kind of stuck from this side.” A new voice echoed through the metal.
The sudden addition of Joker registering to the brunette damn near took the man out like an almighty attack. Loki you slut, did you know about that horrid little bastard following us?! He internally snarled at his persona, simply getting a petulant “Humph!” As his response. Which was all he needed to know that he’d fist fight his own monster later. “Uh, I-I’m pretty sure, Joker. What the hell are you even doing here though?” He asked aloud, doing his best to seem properly confused and embarrassed rather than kick Akira in the nuts for existing. “I came back to see if I could use our game card to get extra coins. Since I couldn’t do much else and didn’t want to sleep...what are you doing here though? It’s, like, midnight in reality.” He pointed out, making Akechi chuckle slightly, “Ah, well...I was simply trying to get the lay of the land in here. Try to find the treasure room, or any keys and see if I could map it out for when we returned.” Relying on a softened truth and his natural bruised ego to sell it. Which, only got him a long moment of silence from the leader of the phantom thieves.
Then, that pesky road block of thick leather was abruptly yanked down. ”E-Excuse me?!” He snarled, his mask gone, his face red, and his teeth bared when he turned his head as best the vent would allow, to glare at the opening of lighting his body beneath the stubborn gate created. “Oh shit, I...I’m sorry.” Akira squeaked, that blood-boiling confidence gone just as fast as Akechi’s sugary tone was. That smooth voice suddenly uneven from the shot of flustered shame surrounding each stuttered word.
Yet, Akira didn’t pull Akechi’s snowy white pants back up, or pried that stupid gate back up. He instead simply sat there. Probably staring at the pale skin of the detective’s ass with that deer-in-the-headlights fear that Akechi had seen when they’d first run into eachother. What a dumbass. I’m going to fucking flay you, now. “Kurusu, you dumb fuck, fix-” His venom was cut short when he felt the sudden and sharp sting of a strike to his ass.
He’d been fucking spanked.
Not entirely intentionally, it seeemed. Judging from the awkward stretch of painful, silent seconds that followed. Nothing but whatever movement could seep into Akechi’s metal prison bouncing off of the vent walls, and Akira’s horror mixing with the detective’s surprise like paint in water. At least, until a switch seemed to flip in the phantom thief.
The awkwardness and impulsivity gone for a dark giggle instead. A sound far more fitting for his rather low voice, and one that sent a slight buzz into Akechi’s blood that mingled with the lingering tinge of pain from Akira’s strike. “Kurusu.” The detective prince tried, keeping his voice calm, and slow like he was talking to a nervous animal instead of a hormonal teenager seemingly slipping into some repressed fuckery. Or, perhaps those were both appropriate situations for that method. “Please pull my pants back up. And let me out of this vent.”
Another stretch of silence followed that… ”what if...I don’t though?” Holy shit.
Now, normally, Akechi would’ve summoned Loki the second his pants were fucked with. But, while he was slowly growing freaked out by Akira’s abrupt shift in personality, there was a voice within that was just barely louder than that anxiety. A dark, curious voice suggesting, Maybe, just maybe. We can hold off for a bit longer. See if we can talk our way out of it...or if it just takes a fun turn. With such impregnable reason, the brunette found he couldn’t quite muster the will it took to bring the demonic bull out. “W-why exactly do you prefer me stuck halfway into a vent?” He asked instead, only getting another smack to his ass cheek, and another ripple of conflicting pleasure and pain into his half-stiff cock. “I’m not sure,” Akira admitted the curious edge Akechi could just hear through the metal of the vents and the morbid darkness of the man’s words encouraging him. “I sort of pulled your pants down on impulse...but now I...dunno, just kind of enjoy this.” He continued, smacking the detective’s ass again to earn a hiss and a wince. That fucking gate throwing an unwanted dose of aching into the equation, but the thought of Akira possibly turning evil was...hot.
Letting out a slow breath, Akechi pushed that discovery down. Trying again, this time with more sugar in his words, “U-um, well if you simply want to hook up with me, this is...a sketchy way to make that known, y'know.” Which, got him another harsher strike to the ass.
At that point, his rear end stung like a horde of angry wasps, but the pain of the impact of Akira’s hand on his ass continued to radiate a delicious warmth throughout his body as well. “Y’know, I’m half tempted to tell the others your ass got stuck~” the phantom thief warned, almost purring with an evil energy bleeding from his words that sent another trickle of lewd excitement down Akechi’s spine despite the escalation. “Maybe I could let Ryuji and Yusuke take turns with you. I think it would be kind of nice to see such a pristine goody-two-shoes defiled in such a fun way.” He continued, his warm hand suddenly gentle as it lovingly rubbed the burning out of Akechi’s skin. Only feeding the heat that had his dick twitching. “That would be a crime, dumbass. Would you really want to add sexual assault to your record?” The detective snapped out, only to get a harsher slap to the cheek of his ass. “Maybe I’ll just assault you, then leave you for a fucking shadow to kill. How about that instead?” He shot back, and while Akechi knew that Akira was far from the type to even carry through on the first half, the way his voice dropped further into a venomous malice made his heart skip a beat as much as it made his dick twitch against the metal of the partially-shuddered vent. What in god’s name am I into? But, that thought was not one he wanted to ponder when he was stuck beneath a mall store’s shudder, on his knees, with his pants falling around his knees and a possibly twisted phantom thief making threats. So, he shook his head a bit and recomposed his social mask once again. ”Look, could you just...maybe pry the vent door open so I could get out? We can both just forget this entire situation. I’ll forget you pulling my pants down, and talking about killing me, you forget about me being stuck in a vent like a dumbass and my threat to report you.” A moment of silence followed his words yet again. Foreboding, but there was also a beam of hope for his dignity still.
Then, with a sigh that was nearly inaudible through the metal of the ventilation system, Akira pulled Akechi’s pants back up. Which, the detective prince took as agreement, so when Joker finally got the metal gate back up enough so that Akechi could worm his way free, he said nothing but a prim “Thank you, Joker.” and left it at that. Both men simply leaving that entire encounter at that vent opening and just leaving the palace in their own, separate ways. Not a further word between them, and the air around them a noxious mix of cold and awkward.
”Well, that was enlightening.” Loki chuckled when the two persona users had parted in those quiet hallways, but Akechi ignored any teasing from that motherfucker. He didn’t need a magical monster to state how mixed up and confused he was. Both at how such a sketchy encounter left him with a boner, and how Akira had it in him to stoop so low on...apparently impulse.
So many questions. No more time.

[WP] You're a super hero. But you don't have any powers, your jokes and puns are just so bad that villains hand themselves in.
After Tim Drake stopped being Batman's sidekick as the Robin. Choosing to strike out and find his own style of superhero-ing. As per tradition Batman adopted another orphan by the name of Raphael O'Frederick Larson or as he would call himself, ROFL. You see this particular Robin had a bit of a personality issue. He wasn't violent or traumatised or cold just well... a bit... *sigh* nevermind it would be easier to just show rather than tell.
The sound of the wailing sirens echoed through the halls of the bank as the hostages covered their heads with their arms on the floor. To scared to move and end up provoking the bank robber, the clown prince of crime himself, the Joker!
Conveniently enough Raphael was amongst the hostages in his civilian attire. As one of Joker's cronies patrolled by him he called out in a whisper only the armed clown could hear "Why did the henchman cross the road? So he could get to the park and sit on a bench, man!"
"Ugh!" The guard dropped to his knees "holy shit that's so chees-" and with that he had passed out from the shear shock that a joke could be that bad. Raphael took his chance quickly donning the clown uniform as a disguise.
Making his way around behind another guard he leaned in to whisper making the man's hair stand at the back of the neck at the stupidity of the pun "What did the bank robber see after he was attacked by a hero dressed as his teammate? De-skies!" (disguise) With that Raphael snapped the man's neck up to face the glass ceiling and the blue sky past that. "Cringe." That was all the man could mange to mutter out before entering a comatose state. More from the damage done by the terrible attempt at a joke rather than the snapping of his neck.
One by one Raphael creeped masquerading as one of the henchmen, disarming them quickly and efficiently with lines such as "why was the villain passed out? I went by him.", "How did the hero save the day? He used dis arm (this arm) on them.", "How did the detective manage to catch the thief named Robert? He spilled the tea about his name and was left with robber."
Finally all the henchmen have been taken out and Raphael in his full Robin persona was escorting the civilians out of the building. Unfortunately for him, the Joker had just realised what was going on and stepped out to confront Robin, holding a silly toy pistol that was more than capable of doing very real and serious damage.
"HA HA HA HA! We meet again! Boy Wonder!"
"Boy I wonder if that bit of your's will ever get old."
"Ugh!" The Joker bent a knee as blood spurted out of his mouth, his face twisting in pain. "Wh-what the fuck did you do?"
"Wanna hear a joke-r?"
"Ah! Please no! They're so fucking bad!"
"Guess what's my least favourite type of bird is? Robin a bank!"
"Augh!" The Joker dropped to the ground, using his hands to support his upper body as his face almost crashed into the pavement. "G-go fuck yourself you failed stand-up comedian!"
"Robin there, done that."
"AAAAAAAAGH!!!" The Joker clenched his hands around his ears and he let out a primal shriek "LA LA LA LA LA LA! I CAN'T HEAR YOUUUUUUU!"
Raphael walked closer to the insane man he was driving further insane "Heh, seems like you can't handle my raw-bin power!"
"YYAAAGH! SHUT THE FUCK UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
"It's over Joker. Get in the Ro-bin!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!! YFGL3INQTWFCYQLXDTYFW4REFTUWYCEGHENRSUCFEK7HVYCGIKXW7TERGSYJUVHBIESRUBTFEGBKTUFJYCHGIEUKDUYWBET4GD"
And with those final words the Joker had a stroke just in time for Batman to arrive and call for Arkham Asylum so that Joker would be escorted back to his cell whilst frothing at the mouth and spasming.
Batman turned to look at his newest apprentice with a slight look of disapproval "You went to far Raphael."
"You may be right. He looked rather rough-ael."
"..."
KAH-POW! With that Batman punched Raphael right in his jaw knocking out his lights and saving the day from more acts of terrorism and psychological torture.
