just wrapped 8/16 eps in the devil judge drama. for every ep, yohan just confirms he's on my wavelength. i can get gaon too, trust me. is only the pull is stronger for me with yohan than literally any other character in this tv show.

made of same cloth for obvious reasons (for especially those mutuals that have known me for quite a long time now). still wish i could rp with a group of people about this tv show. extremely satisfying tho ━ to see gaon have identical eyes of rage and pain. especially since i've been rooting for yohan early on. feels very cathartic what yohan is going through tbh. personally raging a lot. but i tend to keep it merely brimming underneath the surface until i find it necessary to pull it out. what i feel like the "game" trail is now? is team yohan&gaon vs seon&jinju. and i just realized ━ yohan is masterfully playing multiple games at once with various people. he's playing it within various layers, if one pays attention, you could be able to catch it. we, the viewer, seems to be part of it too, if one go by how they direct the eps. gaon is basically the entry point; if gaon is swayed, so are we. my mom actually teaches media and marketing (apart from spanish), so its very fascinating to watch it in real time. yohan isn't perfect in playing the game tho, he sometimes slips up. like with the isaac/gaon stuff, because thats a subconscious weakpoint. also in losing the rosary. i've also noticed his suit and image of perfection is, in itself, a shield against other people. as he from early age learned people aren't trusthworthy (i've learned same lesson, but not as graphic his is). and in projection dominance, be it through power itself or the idea of one, people will believe he is. which is why gaon sometimes takes him by surprise. because gaon dismantles the "fantasy" and "mystery", and sees the young child underneath. the one who is still hurting from the fire; the one's who's anger is not sated. gaon gives a feeling of warmth he never properly learned to communicate. and its why i love them so much.

And with that in mind the freakiest relationship on this blog is not even sexual, but is that very strange and worriesome regulary- meetup-for-dinner-relationship she is having with @muddsludge s Hisoka. I am not judging. They are fun. Some people go swimm with sharks, my Senritsu apparently has regulary dinner with one because I am too lazy to describe other scenarios than them sitting in a restaurant to chat. When it comes to ships outside of this RP-account? To my shame and greatest joy, I am a big fan of KuroroxSenritsu. Which is just... not nice of me to ship my favorite girl with a person who freaked her out to the state of tears and utter horror. But my german fairytale enthusiastic heart just loves is because while Senritsu is obviously based on the pied piper of hamelin that is a beloved fairytale in japan (she is a musician and looks like a rat like buddy, there is a intend and there is beeing bluntly beaten to death with the broad hint), the fairytale description of the Devil is "the hunter" "the man in huntergarb" and also "the man in black". I like the idea of Senritsu moving in fairytale terms and kuroro who obviously is the guy in black fits just fine. Thats also the reason why on this blog Senritsu is based on the Pape Döne fairytale. And also the one interaction they have in the manga was Kuroro asking her about if Kurapika is lying and in the german translation it was not him just asking "He is lying, isn´t he?" but "He is lying, isn´t he, Miss comerade?" (Er lügt, nicht wahr, Fräulein Kameradin?) Which makes me just ugly laugh because Kuroro was just beaten bloody by an angry 18-year-old-twink and decided that this was not important and he still got to be polite to his kidnappers colleague. My guy, the coldhearted child-murderer, got priorities. Also no, there IS fanwork about this pairing! I am screaming not only into the void of fandom. There is exactly one (1!) oneshot with that pairing on fanfiction.net from a decade ago and I know that because the oneshot was written for me for an artexchange xD

Family Game Night…

A weekly event that most of the archangels seemed to dread more than looked forward to, dragged from duties and hiding places to participate just bonding activities. More often than not it ends in yelling and fists being thrown at one another, the chaos heard loud and clear for miles across Heaven. Why did Father insist on such a stressful gathering that clearly none wanted to attend?

This night in particular had the siblings turning on Lucifer, mocking and berating him. Barking bite with a lashing forked tongue and fire, it only served to heighten emotions. Who started it anyways? Was it something boastful Lucifer crooned to which the others responded with naysayers? Or was it one of the archangels, most likely Michael, that took a verbal swing to which the others piled onto? In the end Lucifer stormed out of Heaven and returned to Hell. Not wanting the other to remain hurt, Lucid followed soon after.

When he found the King of Hell, Lucifer was all alone, arms hugging his knees and tail wrapped around himself. The sharp glare he shot at Lucid could pierce chainmail, expecting the young seraph to continue the mockery their brothers had begun. Instead the blue angel sat beside Lucifer, assuring him he did not think those things of the Devil. That things were out of his control and for them to continue the spiteful jeering from decisions made thousands of years ago was unjust. Hesitantly he extended a wing to drape over the others shoulder. In their conversation Lucid shared his own hardships, forever in Lucifer’s shadow. How he has tried everyday to show Heaven and their brothers he is not Lucifer and his own person. But all they saw was Samuel, and the foreboding that one day Lucid will inevitably slip up and become exactly as they view Lucifer still.

In the open-hearted moment, God’s two misfits found company in one another’s presence to be welcomed. No shouting or fighting, no judging one another or calling harsh names. And then Lucifer said something surprising: he acknowledged that Lucid was not his replacement. The greatest fear of the King at last being soothed with the notion that no, Lucid is not him and try as Heaven might, he would not replace Lucifer. It was this moment that Lucid found kinship with the Devil and saw him for the first time as not his predecessor, but his twin…

𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐓

This is a little headcanon to try and expose better the reasons behind Vaedar's 'manwhoring' ( as I like to call it ) tendencies, because it doesn't happen out of nowhere. It also explains as simply as possible how that goes in tandem sort of with the romantic and love aspects of his character. I will include an excerpt from a discord RP as a little background to the headcanon, and since this is a mature theme, then it will be under cut.

Lys is the paradise resort island that many valyrian nobles venture to for an array of reasons and when one visits for the first time, it's not difficult to see why. This was not his first time, though, since House Valarys possesses a villa in the island that they rent out to others whilst no one of the family is in residence. There were guests when he arrived but it didn't stop him from allowing them half a day to pack their belongings and leave, returning them whatever coin was equivalent to the days they would be losing with the early departure. He had a lavish party to plan and needed the space pristine by the date he'd announced it to whatever nobility was currently in the island to attend. It was a rather successful venue, judging by the erotic symphony of moans and gasps that competed with the musicians. It was also the first time he took to bed someone else other than Helys, and the first as well to do so with two others simultaneously. Vaedar does not seek to heal for what was done to him because that's not what he wanted—The heir decided he would hence forth seize every opportunity that granted if even a semblance of control. He would use his power to abide by that in every aspect possible of his life. Starting with the choice of who he fucks. Maybe it was a tad excessive to make such an extravagant occasion of it by hosting a debauchery, but he's never been one for modesty. For almost three weeks he remained in the paradisiac island, attending festivals, dallying around art galleries and visiting several of the many pleasure houses Lys the Lovely was famous for. It didn't fill that hole inside but it did aid him in forgetting it existed, and it helped erase the memory of Helys's touch on his body.

For a little context, in his 'canon', Helys is the first woman he forms an emotional connection with, but it ends up that she was manipulating him in a moment of vulnerability ( having just lost his grandfather, who was very important to him ). Helys is basically a narcissist, and when Vaedar learns of her intentions, then all of what is up there happens.

Now, onto the explanations. Vaedar is both a simple and complicated character simultaneously, and this is an example of that. He's a passionate individual with a romantic personality, doesn't know how to do things halfway. But when it comes to emotions that can control him, he's very defensive. He sees love as something that gives power to the other person over him, and he's scared of giving that power to the wrong person ( as he already did once ). He knows himself, and knows he will go full in, so he will be easy to break all over again and it's what he wants to protect himself against.

And so, that's where a part of his personality comes in, carved out greatly in part to achieve this. His charm, his confidence, the devil-may-care attitude, the flirtations, are examples of results of that, because he uses those to keep things casual on the outside, making himself in a sense 'untouchable'. From this also develops the 'manwhoring'. He realizes that being like this lets him take control on who he allows to give him pleasure, who he gives pleasure to, separating the emotional from the physical, so it lets him protect himself from going through the heartbreak again.

He's a very physical individual, so sex gives him release, it's not seen as a way of emotionally connecting with someone, especially strangers. Which is also why he prefers to sleep around with strangers. Though when he is in love, then that physical nature of his will take over in how he will want to be physically close to that special in the best way for him; through sex. Of course, the challenge there lies in actually allowing himself to feel those emotions, to accept that it is love, and then act on that love.

So despairing vacation (DV) was a multi fandom roleplay group that was based on danganronpa. So basically a killing game rp. We ended our last iteration like two-ish weeks ago? Around that time with Despairing Vacation 4.

I joined in Despairing Vacation 1.5, which in the timeline it took place in between the first game and second lmao (though it took place after 2 happened in reality). I brought in Ahn because at the time my ass was obsessed with He is Psychometric and I love Ahn like a son. So naturally I chucked him in there and he got scars around his right wrist and more trauma than he had before the game started. I also uhhh fucked up his canon beyond recognition lol. (I’ll probably post his carrd here later—). Out of the three muses I have played in DV, he’s the only survivor. Because of this he can’t wear bracelets anymore lol. He still has his psychometric powers but it comes at a greater cost for him. He’s also the only kdrama character in despairing vacation lol.

For Sento…I was pretty obsessed with Kamen Rider Build and I related hard to Sento in terms of some of his underlying issues so I played him! I think originally I was going to play Gaon devil judge, Peter Stone law and order, Kiriya exaid, or taiga ex aid but I like Sento :). As to why he died: he was pulled for culprit so the people just scrambled to do smth and it was around the time that he returned to his original identity of Takumi. Sento (as Takumi) killed Shadow the Hedgehog by biting his neck off and as a result Sento (takumi) got executed. Sento basically had to pay for Takumi’s crimes (I’ll link his execution here lmao. Maybe). He a ghost now living in an Eyecon that takeru gave him lol. I miss him :(. I Also fucked up his canon by making the amnesia permanent. I’ll probably post the link to his execution. Maybe. Fun fact: I wrote it during the trial jfnsksnsjsnoasmks

As for Nitoh…I was still torn about who to bring; I think this time I was tempted to bring Gaon (again), Shen Wei, Tokatti toqger, Noel lupat…and then I said to Jason ( @/gameraramen) ‘hey wouldn’t it be funny if I brought in Nitoh wizard and tossed him in as victim?’ Because in Despairing Vacation he and Haruto are married and I thought ‘hey wouldn’t it be funny—‘. The decapitation was gale’s (@/galeforcewings (I think that’s gale’s tumblr)) idea because he wanted decap meanwhile the cannibalism was gonna be there because Jason’s character Chidori persona 3 has kamen rider Amazons’ lore in there. The only thing was that Nitoh’s housemate Mike ensemble stars was also picked to be victim so naturally it was a double murder and ah ha. Nitoh’s death was one of the darkest because you may not see it in the crime scene photo. But he doesn’t rlly have much of his body left + his head was on a serving plate. Tbh it was my only chance to be victim so I said ‘fuck it make it dark’ and at first we weren’t sure if the mods would let us (they came in and said ‘make it worse’). The chapter name in the murder server is called ‘women moments (gone wrong)’ because at the time Chidori was ‘dating’ Eve moonlit evilous and :miku: women moments.

this video shows gaon/yohan exactly like i write them, tbh. it really helps i've the confidence to write yohan━i prefer a challenge in a character than ones i hardly have to work to understand. but to be fair, kang yohan is a open book to me. i've my own fair share of traumas, so clocking into the guy is second nature. another day i wish i could rp in a the devil judge as either gaon or yohan, oh well. i can always settle with fanfic if i find nobody.
