Got another bts pic of "The Iron Claw" from the set photographer again depicting the Von Erich vs The Fabulous Freebirds feud!!! 😀 Weird timing for me though with this pic popping up as just last night I was watching one of their old matches but unlike this pic Kevin was also with them and it was an elimination style match or whoever is last in the ring wins. Kevin won and the post-match interview got me so emotional as both David and Kerry were cheering on Kevin and hyping up his upcoming match with Ric Flair and how proud they were of him. 🥹

Everyone that is upset about it being Danhausen and Orange and not Chuck and Trent - I get it. I do. I’ve been a Best Friends fan long before AEW was a thing. This ain’t new.

But this is wrestling. Anything can happen. And my fantasy booking for this whole thing is this: Freebird that shit.

What does that mean? Well back in the 80s there was a team called the Fabulous Freebirds that had 3 members. They were the tag team champs but they would defend it with any two of the three guys, aka The Freebird Rule. If you are a more current WWE fan, the New Day used this same tactic a lot.

So if Best Friends as a whole are Chuck, Trent, Danhausen and Orange (and Kris) - and Danhausen and Orange won the last spot - it could be a possibility to have Chuck and Trent wrestle the actual title match Sunday with the Freebird rule.

Is this likely? Doubtful. Mostly because I want it to happen so therefore it won’t.

But then again, wrestling be wrestling. Wilder shit has happened.

Another new behind the scenes photo of Harris and Jeremy as David and Kerry Von Erich was released from "The Iron Claw"!!! 😀 This one is a fun one for fellow wrestling fans like me as this is from the famous Von Erich vs The Fabulous Freebirds feud they had. The movie touched on it a little bit this scene was from a promo you can actually watch on YT and Peacock which has a lot of the WCCW matches/shows. The outfits look so close to what they were really wearing too. Also makes me wonder what else was deleted and hoping we get those with a DVD release.
