HI! I just wanted to say that I love your blog sm. I just finished watching the show and I started reading your fanfic. La morte Borgia is hands down by far one of THE BEST if not the best fanfic I've ever read. It's my comfort fic honestly. I can't stop reading it again and again. I think I've read it about 4 times already and I want to read it again lol. Look, I love Lucrezia's pov but Cesare's POV is something else. The last three chapters are SO SO real. I LOVE IT

Thank you so much, this brings me so much joy! Writing about the Borgias is the only thing I can consistently put myself up to these days, for some reason, which is probably why Cesare's POV has gotten so out of hand length-wise. But, in case anyone's curious, I just posted an update and am working on the next part. I'm almost finished with the story, actually, and the ending is going to be so DRAMATIC it makes my fingers tingle. Because it fits the mood, see an appropriately dramatic and very unofficial trailer for the story haha

#Love Theme from the Godfather #the Borgias #Cesare Borgia #Lucrezia Borgia #for due reference #the trailer is a recycled version of a promo vid for season 2 #and the song is Katherine Jenkin's rendition of Parla più piano which was originally used as an instrumental version the Godfather #under the heading #of course (I do notice that I use of course the way other people use no offense sorry for that) the writer of the Godfather #mario puzo (i mean the book not the movie)#he also wrote the Family which is about the Borgias #and he himself has said that he based the Godfather on them more or less #Cesare and Lucrezia do also have a relationship in the Family #it's a good book so I'd really recommend it!#(but I'm a huge fan of mario Puzo so just see for yourself he's great!)#Not super accurate historically but it's not as if Puzo pretends to be a historian #plus history is always necessarily a construct and one always historicizes oneself even in the simple act of thinking back you know?#it's a shame that a lot of modern historians are so against mixing up storytelling with history (though of course there must boundaries etc #I DIGRESS #anyway i thought the connection with theh song was interesting so I added the link of the Godfather's theme song version of it #enjoy and have a lovely weekend y'all!#bc just Borgiacest
