The First Lady Season 2: Latest Updates
What are the chances of a second season of The First Lady airing once the season one finale airs this weekend on Showtime? Alternatively, are we already gearing up for our return to our starting point?
It’s important to remember that the season’s female characters, including Michelle Obama’s Viola Davis, will likely be saying their final words on Sunday night. Some of these stories have been told…

Of course I understand all my fellow Outists going feral for her new butler ID, but I see no conversation about her Bound King / Binds EGO.

One Dress a Day Challenge
May: Purple Redux
Star Trek: The Next Generation (s2e19, "Manhunt") / Majel Barrett as Lwaxana Troi
Lwaxana arrives on board the Enterprise in this elaborate, beautifully beaded robe over a sparkly lavender gown with a plunging neckline and dangling ropes of gold beads over the skirt. You can see them in motion in the side view picture above.
But hang on--that robe looks familiar. Is it ...?
Holy smokes, I think it is! "Crêpes Suzette's" robe from Darling Lili! It's even got the triangular bit hanging down from the neckline in back!

I hope they introduce magic into OFMD for comedic reasons just to never explain anything about it.
The Auntie's book on transmorgification works and Buttons uses it to turn one of the crew into a bird for half an episode. Do other characters also have that power? Is Buttons actually a sea witch/druid? Who knows! Who cares! Give us magic just for the bit please

Why is no one talking about the fact that the actresses playing Maggie and Nina also played nuns in season 1? Did we just collectively agree that they both have a twin sister who happens to be a satanic nun who's terrible at her job?

I finished the first season of Within the Wires yesterday and really enjoyed it! Since it's from earlier in the audio drama boom, it takes pains to justify the audio format, and its use of the medium is very clever - the ending of episode 9 was particularly powerful and wouldn't have worked any other way. The recorded cassettes meaning we couldn't see how Oleta reacted until Hester described it later left us entirely reliant on her narration.... trust my voice indeed.
Hester was a great character and incredibly human in her flaws. She's selflessly risking her job and life to save a woman she knew as a child who doesn't remember, yet she's also selfish about it - encouraging Oleta to forgive her while she's undergoing medical torture, dwelling on her jealousy and initially painting Nelle in a worse light in comparison, choosing what to say and what not to (I hurt you, but let's stop talking about it, but also I need to emphasize how I had to hurt you). I don't know if Oleta will stay (though where else could she go?) I don't know if I would. But it was all deliciously messy.
