Okay, I am losing it. To any and every Phineas and Ferb fan out there please help me out.
I've just been down a P&F rabbithole and found a couple of people saying that the song "Mysterious Force" from the movie Phineas & Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension was cut from the movie.
This was weird for me bc I clearly remember it being in the movie.
Just for some key context:
I did not see the movie on DVD (which from what i've read has the deleted scene as a bonus scene)
I watched the movie on TV near the time of release
I live in South America, so i am thinking there's a chance that the release was slightly different? (This also may mean i could've seen it in spanish instead)

PnF Headcanon; One of the reasons Perry’s OWCA’s greatest agent is that he got a LOT of practice trying to keep the Flynn-Fletcher kids safe from themselves. Before Phineas and Ferb learned about “safety” they used to make a lot of dangerous things that nearly got him killed while Candace was—Candace. (Meaning she would end up in wild situations that she would need help to get out of, just like now.) To this day, Perry has war flashbacks to the trouble they used to get into, just like when Monogram remembers the academy. Fortunately, those wild and unpredictable situations they created managed to get Perry in top form and prepared for ANYTHING. (I imagine that if Perry’s brainwashed and he hears one of Candace’s shrieks, he’ll instantly snap out of it.)

Escape from Phineas Tower is so funny because like. Phineas and Ferb's friends are like. OK. We'll deal with a lot of weird stuff. Dangerous stuff. But this tower. It's where we draw the line. This out of everything is where they draw the line. Ant Pheromones. Of course. Sketchy intergalactic internet ads. Sure. A plane whose wing has fallen off and is now duck taped on. Absolutely. Giant deadly maze, why not? But no to the fancy escape room. It's not the first time a line has been drawn, but it is always funny to see where the rest of the gang draws the line.
And on one hand, Phineas and Ferb do get out of the tower. They could handle it. But. They are very much actually in danger (though this isn't new, per se, and they've never been very easily bothered by danger). And then the tower goes evil and actively starts trying to kill them, and then keeps them trapped even when they do get out. Phineas admits to being in mortal terror. Also this whole time Candace is napping, so she doesn't call mom during this episode. So the "threat" of discovery by mom isn't there. And Doof's invention is the reason the tower went evil in the first place, so he's the cause of the conflict not its resolution. The conflict is instead the mortal danger is the motivation and the boys have to get rid of the tower house themselves. So its the rare occasion the boys have to you know. Deal with a threat and the results of whatever Doof's doing. The even rarer occasion that they actually have to deal with a problem they caused. And Candace isn't there to help them. Genuinely if you think about it the reason the boys ended up in so much trouble because Candace wasn't there to bail them out by getting mom. And they don't even really solve the problem. Just put it off for the future. Like, sure the air pressure in the galaxy is negligible, and it did prevent an invasion in classic PnF effect fashion. But they didn't fix the problem of a tower trying to kill them. And they don't even really realize the break in the pattern. (The only time I think they realize the pattern is in an alternate universe). I swear Candace is like 60% of the reason these kids are alive. (The other 40% being other Phineas and Ferb effect related outcomes). Also, Candace napping the whole time provides this minor side plot where the other kids are basically bullying her. The classic pranks you play on a sleeping person. And general tests of seeing how much they can do without her falling asleep. In case you ever wondered how the rest of the kids felt about Candace. They just. Bully her without hesitation. Candace really is just a tired older sister of not just one, not just two, but five weird kids who are probably all too smart for their own good.
Of course its paired with Remains of the Platypus which is another one of my favorite episodes, for how it breaks the formula in a completely different way. And just. One of my favorite pairs of episodes.

Okay so I’ve been brainrotting over this idea since seeing the phineas and ferb effect a few days ago
Tumblr media
So like imagine that Derek began mulching people a lot earlier on so Phineas and Ferb at least had enough time to make these collars for themselves and their friends (basically who was with them alongside Isabella, Sara, and Amanda) to not lose themselves mentally before getting captured, and now have to save the world from pistachions… as pistachions (also I wanted to try out this new sketchbook I got)

I still can’t stop thinking about Merrily We Roll Along so here’s a little drawing of the besties. These designs are mostly inspired by the original cast but with some changes. I just didn’t want to draw Frank’s coat basically.

Flynn: I want you gone! I WANT YOU GONE AND AWAY FROM THEM! AND FROM ME!
Emil felt like a chain had tightened around their neck; the bond tightened around their very soul, forcing them to turn back as Emil tried to resist it. They couldn’t. No, not their little ones. They couldn’t leave them, not with Flynn like that. What if he hurt them?
Emil stopped, taking a few steps back as River cast a new spell, this one made his son fall asleep in his arms before he could blurt out even more hurtful stuff.
River quickly recognized the effects of the subjugation, that powerful side effect of the familiar bond. He needed to break the bond. He needed to free Emil from it. If he followed those words, the twins would be left without a mother, for if those words had affected the bond, Emil would suffer while trying to reject the order..
River: He doesn’t.. Well he does mean some of it Emil, but this is a breakdown. A complete mental breakdown, so he doesn’t mean it, not like he just said. He, he doesn’t want you gone… I am sure. Emil: I…. I… I know…
But he did, all the things Flynn had said were true. He had tried to kill his father, to kill his uncle, and him. None of the things he said were lies. And he left, he left Flynn, alone, with a wounded Fan, hoping he had done enough to help them, hoping he had done the right thing. But he was right, he had abandoned Flynn when he needed him the most.

Get ready to re-enter the Grid! Jeff Bridges confirmed on Facebook – he’s officially back for Tron: Ares. You know, the guy who made Kevin Flynn so unforgettable in the original 1982 movie and its sequel, Tron: Legacy?
Remember when Tron first hit theaters? It was like nothing anyone had seen before. No widespread internet, video games were still finding their footing…and this movie drops with crazy visuals and a mind-bending story about a world inside computers. It didn’t rake in cash right away, but over time? Tron became a total legend, paving the way for a whole new wave of filmmaking.
We’ve been lucky enough to chat with Jeff Bridges over the years, and naturally, we had to ask: what’s the secret behind Tron’s lasting appeal?
