Captain Shane Lachance comforts teammate & fellow Devils prospect Mikhail Yegorov in the wake of their loss to the Broncos in the 2025 Frozen Four Championship match.

Moving to a new city to play for an entirely new team while beginning studies at a high-level university levies obvious challenges. But Yegorov gives all the credit to his teammates. In his first team dinner, Yegorov didn’t know anyone. Then, co-captain Shane Lachance asked the new guy to sit next to him at the table.  “They treat me as I was part of their team for four years,” Yegorov said. “I was a little surprised with that, because I’m like weird Russian just came here and but now they treat me like I’m actually their good friend.” [...] “Goaltending is all about love,” Yegorov said. “It’s just one word that kind of gets everything together.”

I know I said this already, but fujimoto making all of the horsemen women is why he’s close to getting a 10 from me (and men never get 10s from me). war devil, control devil (?), death devil, and the famine devil. even when they reincarnate it’s always into a female host. no other male writer would have done that. very excited to see what he does with the death devil after reading chapter 196. and horsemen aside, his female cast is so goated. asa and quanxi and kobeni and power and makima and himeno- very rare instance of a female cast outshining the male cast in the shounen genre….. fujimoto wants to get pegged so bad…….!

Here we are, dear hearts, at the first truest anniversary of the release of The Horror and the Wild. An absolute masterpiece of an album that teaches us that we are capable of not only great fury and sadness, but beauty and kindness as well. I really looked into the meanings of flowers for this one, incorporating poppies, marigolds, and yarrow. Flowers that can represent anger and hurt, but also remembrance, passion, and healing. Anyway, here's my tribute to That Unwanted Animal by The Amazing Devil.
