I think it's very funny how basically everyone who matters knows Vis is a lying liar but they're all just dead wrong in guessing the truth

i have done the great work of compiling a supercut of all the times Vis called another man* handsome in The Will of The Many, a 625-sh page book, that is about 8 handsome men every 78 pages.)
*This does include his own father. And also, interestingly, Indol three times.

"A fair system only works if there’s an unbiased means of assessing merit. When there is no pride or selfishness involved." He gives a soft snort, shaking his head. "Which means that fair systems cannot exist where people are involved." - James Islington 'The Will of the Many'

Actually it should be illegal for authors to write book series whose title is one normal english word and have it be extremely good but not very popular. Do you want to curse me to struggle with tags???

s-so, i remember you t-telling me th-that your rats can smell fear?
i-i'd just like to know how th-that works, since i'm curious.
th-thank you!
-nitro
Terribly sorry for the delay, this message seems to have slipped under my nose.
Allow me to explain.
In the aforementioned conversation, I was specifically referring to the Vassals, one of the tiers in my Hierarchy of rats. You can find more information on the Hierarchy under the tab "Learn About My Rats" on my page.
The Vassals gained their strength and stature through a process of mutation originating from a serum of my own invention. Said serum is a carefully devised mixture of DNA from several monstrous creatures. This is why the Vassals have such carnivorous appetites, as well as why they're able to smell fear - quite literally! They have an innate talent for sensing adrenaline in nearby creatures! It comes in very handy.
Thanks for writing in!

The way I'm loving Vis Telimus Catenicus. Saying The Will of the Many is The Name of the Wind meets Red Rising is the perfect description. The sass that boy serves😂💙
