Could The Humdrum from The Simon Snow Series kill Macbeth? He’s a manifestation of Simon Snow, the main character, created by his god-like magic (long story); but technically since Simon is a man and is of woman born, would that also make The Humdrum a man of woman born? And since The Humdrum is a manifestation of specifically 11-year-old Simon, does he count as a man? Or a boy? I never knew I needed an answer to this, but, surprisingly, this matters a lot to me.
I would say that the Humdrum would be able to kill Macbeth. If he was created by Simon, then Simon would count as his "birth parent" for the Birth Parent Clause, and thus would also apply for the Unconventional Birth Clause at the same time.
I would say no on the Gender Clause, though, since (as we've discussed before) we don't tend to make a distinction between "man" and "boy" based on age unless one is explicitly made in the text (i.e. a boy specifically says that he is not a man yet).
Now, to be fair, I pretty much couldn't find any information about this character when trying to research for this ask, so I'm mainly going off of what you've already told me, and while I don't doubt what you're saying is true, I do still like to verify these things on my own, since humans tend to misremember information all the time.
A little continuation of my Moomin AU. The Groke is a good avatar for the Humdrum, given she is a lonely creature freezing everything everywhere she goes. She just needs a hug <3

Simon Snow is my comfort character and this is one of my new favorite drawings ... So here's to Snow and his younger self <3

This year I decided I wanted to honor the incredibly talented fic writers of this fandom, so I chose one fic per prompt to do an illustration for. I didn’t double up on authors so that I could do this for as many people as possible. I realized while planning this that there are way too many fics and authors that I love, and even after having picked 30 of what I consider some of my very favorites, I could have easily kept going. Please check the fics out if you haven’t, they all come highly recommended.
“When did you get wings?” the Humdrum asks. “I’ll never have wings. Or a sword. I’ll never even have a proper ball—I’d like a football.”

I used Kuretake Fluid Graphite for the first time on this. It's very cool! Unfortunately, this paper is definitely not a good fit for it, so it was challenging to use and even harder to get a semi-decent photo of.
is the humdrum a manifestation of simon’s emotions?
i’m thinking about penelope saying, “it’s impossible to steal someone like that, to port them that far. the magic required….” and the situation behind it being simon seeing baz and agatha in the woods together. simon must have felt so strongly in that moment and then the humdrum, a mirror of him, does this great powerful thing. idk.
only bad thing about being in a fandom where one of the characters canonically has wings is the painful lack of classic wingfic. where is my everything's the same but people have bird wings watford au where one day baz notices simon hasn't been grooming his wings bc of an injury to his ribs so he sits on his bed and makes a whole fuss about how "i'm not doing this to be nice, snow, your wings are just a travesty to look at" and then proceeds to carefully and lovingly tidy his feathers in drawn out silence while they both pretend grooming someone else's wings isn't one of the most intimate things you can do for another person. will this heartbreak never end
