Ennard for the character bingo

are they 1 character? 😭 idk but i did it both ways

favorite character from the series, hands down. i am not into reality shows, but if it was just them arguing, i'd watch it. they're just so entertaining.

they're also really fun to write - there are two things i particularly like about writing and those are banter and scheming. ennard satisfies both of those needs.

i gotta say, while i do have a lot of hcs about them, it's their canon versions i have hcs ab. which i usually don't really separate from the interviewed characters, but in this case, funtimes as i view them are too different to be the same people.

for those of you that are here from my ao3 - you will meet my version of funtimes once 'the utah cases' starts coming out

first up, cuz he has to be- funtime foxy. i wish i was him. i think he is very aware that the whole world wants to be him, too. 😭😂

he definitely had no one humble him in his entire fucking life.

ballora- i wouldn't say everyone is wrong about her, because we don't know anything about her, not in canon and not in the interviewed. and especially since i am actually not miss afton believer, there's no point in me correcting anyone about a theory i don't even believe in.

BUT. i think while people tend to focus on her being a victim to afton (which she most definitely was, there is no way that marriage wasn't abusive) people tend to forget she literally just fucking left??? i am leaning towards being understanding cuz like, she was a divorced woman in the 80s, independence came hard, let alone something as being as being financially responsible for 3 kids. but like, she straight up disappears from the picture.

did her kids even get to see her? was she fighting for custody or did she just leave them at william's mercy? did she call? did they even understand why she left? and what about michael that is canonically hated by his father? he literally had no one else but her.

idk, i don't wanna jump the gun, but i can't help but feel she was partially responsible for what went down between the afton children, despite being a victim herself. again, i have no proof for any of this, but you just gotta wonder.

i do love her though, she's so interesting. wish she wasn't afking in the interviewed so much fr 😂😭

freddy. this mf is what brought me to fnaf fandom. this mf is forever my favorite funtime. that said, he is an absolute fucking asshole that takes out his inner frustrations at people around him. he hates himself so he hates everyone else by proxy. and i love him for it. he's not in conflict, he is THE conflict

i love the interviewed so much, and ennard is my favourite character from it. i love them so much that i literally have a tattoo of them. and this new episode is ENTIRELY ennard based??? we got so much insight into their personalities and also MY FAVOURITE WHUMP TROPE OF ALL TIME, INTERROGATION WITH ELECTRIC SHOCKS.

// Spoilers for The Interviewed: An Interview with Ennard: Again

After thinking about this episode for a while, I couldn't fully understand why Springtrap would pick some random guy he basically just met over the slim possibility of seeing his daughter again. Yeah he says he has moved on, but there has to be more reason than that, especially because of how tempted he looks when baby was revealed to him. Then I realized that the reason he chose to help Bloke was because he was literally the first guy he had a proper conversation with in 30 years. Yeah, he's talked to other people like Major and the kids, but it was always with the intention of killing him or getting something out of him. With Bloke, it was just a genuine conversation with no real intention behind it other than just to understand what's going on better, and it even gets a little personal with Bloke asking him what it was like to have kids or if he's had any. It may sound like just a random conversation to anyone, but for Springtrap, this short but sweet interaction was probably extremely refreshing. To finally have a genuine conversation like this after so long must've meant so much to him, especially after he had lost essentially everything he had ever cared about. It was just a small reminder of what it truly felt like to be alive.

In the end, this is just my two cents of the whole thing and how I've interpreted it. But as you've read, what seems like a small amount to you can be worth so much more to someone else. I hope you've enjoyed reading my little observation. :]

TL;DR: Springtrap's short interaction with Bloke probably meant way more to him than you think, and was likely the main reason he sided with him when faced to choose between him and the possibility of seeing his daughter again.
