One of the worst feelings in the world: when you are just desperate, like claw-your-own-skin-off desperate, to create, but the only thing that even vaguely appeals to you to work on is a nebulous half-feeling that might be dreamily related to some half-formed notion of a concept. I must! Make! No thing! Only make!

Do you think Ratio has the stereotypical 'doctor's handwriting'?
I know he isn't a practicing physician but, he does have a PhD in medicine so imagine, just IMAGINE : Ratio who writes his most ardent confession to you in a letter because words betray him when he's faced with you but the ten page letter is barely intelligible so you show it to Aventurine who knows exactly what's up and tells you, “That's a lot of medicine Doc prescribed to you. You should consider doing a serious health checkup.”
You bolt to Ratio in panic but are shell-shocked when he tells you that he isn't “mentally prepared to tell you everything” and keeps on delaying the confrontation. This leaves you tossing in bed, unable to focus on anything and constantly paranoid because you think you have a serious illness while Ratio's just biting his fingernails thinking he's going to get rejected and Aventurine who's wheezing by the sidelines.
Or, Aventurine did it deliberately to sabotage any potential of romance between you and Ratio idk.

Hate to admit it but I really did chuckle at "Brought to you by the studio who brought you The Boys and Two Day Shipping*". Its just so grim. Like it's clearly Amazon bragging about being Amazon. But the decisions here... you're marketing this to the fallout audience. These games have "Megacorporations are evil" baked into their DNA. Its why vaults exist. It's why FEV exists. It's heavily implied to be why the war started and the bombs fell in the first place. Nearly every single dungeon you go into is a nightmarish hellscape created by an evil megacorporation of one flavor or another. Everyone who has played these games and thought about it for more than half a second can recognize that Amazon, while less cartoonishly evil (but inherently more evil due to being real), is the kind of company that Fallout has always been against at its core. Now they're puppeting it's corpse around and invoking its themes despite its themes being inherently opposed to their existence. Clown ass world.

What do you think of Rook's savanaclaw card? <333
I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.
and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like
this is NOT a negative in the slightest, I love it all, this truly was an incredible update in so many ways
