THE LEGEND OF LIZZIE BORDEN (1975)
In 1893, Massachusetts spinster Lizzie Borden (Elizabeth Montgomery) is accused of murdering her father and stepmother with a hatchet. A lengthy trial ensues, but the case is not as airtight as the prosecutors would like. There is no physical evidence at the scene of the crime, nor did Lizzie have any blood on her in the wake of the murders. Amid intense media scrutiny and wild speculation about her motives, Lizzie maintains her innocence to the end.

Parents vs. Kids: Sometimes, It’s a Bloody Mess  #fromtheblog
Lizbeth A. Borden was a frequent theatergoer. Single and wealthy, Borden often attended performances in New York City and Boston, travelling from her home in Fall River, Mass.   Ms. Borden passed in 1927. Had she lived a few years longer, she would have had the opportunity to see herself portrayed on stage.  The Lizzie Borden house, where the infamous murders took place (2009). Whether she…

I love the Spn episodes that take place in an identifiable city and don't even try to look like the city.
For instance
Season 10 ep 16 Paint It Black (infamous ep for the confessional but we ain't talking about that) It takes place in Worcester MA
This is the Worcester police department in the show

This is the actual one

Ugly ass brutalist building downtown.
Now I'm not saying they should've filmed in worcester cuz we All Know they never ever would have had the budget to pull that off for every episode. However, even a brief Google search and then choose a location that looks even slightly similar would be nice. Even just filming ANY brutalist building would be more faithful than the small town, middle of the woods one they actually filmed at. Hell, there's a baseball field next to the one in the episode vs a highway turnpike next to the real one. This applies to a lot of episodes, but this is the one I rlly locked onto.
