1963 AC SHELBY COBRA
1963 AC SHELBY COBRA 4.7-LITRE MARK II ROADSTER  REGISTRATION NO. OYM 28A CHASSIS NO. CSK2116 ENGINE NO. CSX2116
Footnotes
Rightly regarded as one of the all-time great classic sports cars, the muscular, fire-breathing Cobra succeeded in capturing the hearts of enthusiasts like few of its contemporaries. Only 1,000-or-so Cobras of all types were built between 1962 and 1967, but such was the model's enduring popularity that production was resumed in 1982 under the auspices of Brooklands-based Autokraft.
Convinced that a market existed for an inexpensive sports car combining European chassis engineering and American V8 power, Le Mans-winning Texan racing driver Carroll Shelby concocted an unlikely alliance between AC Cars and the Ford Motor Company. The former's Ace provided the simple twin-tube chassis frame - designed by John Tojeiro - into which was persuaded one of Ford's lightweight, small-block V8s. It was discovered that the latter was lighter than the six-cylinder Ford Zephyr unit that AC was using, yet with vastly greater potential. To cope with the projected power increase, the Ace chassis was strengthened with heavier gauge tubing and supplied fitted with four-wheel disc brakes. Weighing a mere 1.5cwt more than a Bristol-engined Ace yet endowed with double the power and torque, the Cobra turned in a breathtaking performance, racing to 60mph in 4.4 seconds and reaching the 'ton' in under 12, exceptional figures by early 1960s standards and none too shabby even today.
The 260ci (4.2-litre) prototype first ran in January 1962, with production commencing later that year. Exclusively for the USA initially, Cobras - minus engines - were sent from England to be finished off by Shelby in California, and it was not until late in 1963 that AC Cars in Thames Ditton got around to building the first fully finished cars to European specification.
After 75 Cobras had been built with the 260ci engine, the more powerful 289ci (4.7-litre) unit was standardised in 1963. Rack-and-pinion steering was the major MkII up-date; then in 1965 a new, stronger, coil-suspended MkIII chassis was introduced to accommodate Ford's 427ci (7.0-litre) V8, an engine that in race trim was capable of producing well in excess of 400bhp. Wider bodywork, extended wheelarch flares and a bigger radiator intake combined to create the definitive - and much copied - Cobra MkIII look. Keeping ahead of the competition on the racetrack had been the spur behind Shelby's adoption of the 427 engine, but some MkIIIs to 'street' specification came with Ford's less powerful 428ci hydraulic-lifter V8.
But for Brian Angliss, the Cobra story would have ended in 1967. The Autokraft boss had built up a business restoring Cobras and supplying parts, and in the early 1980s acquired the rights to the AC name plus a quantity of jigs and tooling from the old Thames Ditton factory. Keeping the overall style of the MkIII, Autokraft produced the MkIV, which was appropriately updated to meet current legislation and powered by a 'Federalised' Ford 5.0-litre V8 engine. Around 480 were built.
Chassis number 'CSX2116' was invoiced to Shelby American on 16th April 1963 and shipped to Los Angeles three days later aboard the 'SS Loch Gowan'. Invoiced on 18th June 1963 to Burton Motors of Sacramento, California, the Cobra was sold new to a local doctor who used it for a few years before giving it to his daughter. She used the car as daily transport for several years before the clutch failed, at which time it was sold to Steve Dangremond of Santa Rosa, California. The Cobra was advertised for sale by Mr Dangremond in late 1977 and bought by Dr Grant Hill of Chotoka, Alberta. Dr Hill fitted Weber carburettors and raced 'CSX2116', eventually trading it to Fred Yule in Portland, Oregon. At that time, the car was still finished in its original colour scheme of dark blue and retained its original black leather interior.
'CSX2116' returned to the UK in the late 1980s and was advertised through Hampson's Ltd, by which time it had been refinished in red and fitted with a full-width roll bar. Subsequent owners in England were Dr Carlos Barbot, Trojan boss Peter Agg and Formula 1 racing driver Rupert Keegan. 'CSX2116' was last restored in 1988, records on file indicating that an extensive mechanical restoration was undertaken at this time. The car still retains its original black leather interior though the Weber carburettors have gone, replaced by an easier to maintain four-barrel Holley. There is considerable additional accompanying documentation including correspondence between previous owners, a copy of the original bill of sale, Shelby American Automobile Club letter of authentication, FIA papers and Swansea V5 registration document. The car has belonged to the current owner since 2006.  Early Cobras are offered for sale only rarely and this example represents a wonderful opportunity to acquire a fine example of this classic of Anglo-American sports car design.

Well I finally finished AC6 NG++, game of the year for me for sure. I figured I'd post how my AC's looked by the end, and some of the ones I built for fun.
Here is my main three AC's, you may somewhat recognize them from my other AC post:
THE SLAB
Tumblr media
The biggest change is the color scheme and legs. After finishing the first run I decided to give it a more weathered look, and I realized I liked the treads more that the car for the most part.
GREEN KNIGHT
Tumblr media
I used this guy a ton on my second and third run. Once I got used to the lance/pilebunker combo I was wrecking everything in sight. The mini gun and drone helped with smaller enemies and keeping the heat on while positioning for melee.
BATARIEL
Tumblr media
No changes to this dude. Looks cool and great long distance missile destruction.
That's all the AC's I actually used for missions, the rest of these I just built for fun:
NEPENTHES MKII
Tumblr media
I just strapped the biggest lasers I could to this thing and fiddled with it until it worked. Very impractical but funny to use.
SWARM MASTER
Tumblr media
I really wanted to use the little remote laser drones, so I went with a wasp motif. Actually somewhat effective, but runs low on ammo quickly.
BULLET HELL
Tumblr media
All bullets all the time. Looks cool, only does ok in combat.
ABBADON
Tumblr media
I wanted to make a demonic version of the angelic BATARIEL. This guy is all about close range ground combat. This one is super fun and quite effective.
SMOOTH OPERATOR
Tumblr media
The design philosophy for this one was "What would a cool, cocky mercenary do?" So of course they have to have gold plated weapons, cool pants, and a fancy melee weapon. Since this one is only about looks I didn't even test it in a mission lol.
SANIC
Tumblr media
And finally my silliest one. I made this to go as fast as possible while still having a weapon in each slot. It does indeed go fast, but also blows up fast haha.

Im….kinda shocked by this form? Like Boost MkII definitely didnt feel incomplete, im surprised it got expanded upon. But unlike say Shining Hopper to Assault Hopper, i like this form just about as much as the prior one! The real strength of this design is that it mixes Geats’ signature colors throughout, rather than the half-and-half look of Geats’ signature form, and it does so to great effect! I particularly like how the helmet comes together. The addition of Ziin’s fox-ear/horns and blue eyes/detailing also kicks ass, gives the suit a totally unique vibe from any of Geats’ other forms. I love this suit!

BEST ALBUMS OF 2023
Every few years someone hoots and hollers that the “album is dead”, people only listen to singles, yada yada yada. I still love albums and listening to a collection of songs that hang together in a particular way. The biggest selling album of the year was Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time. Here are my 2023 favorites:
Honorable Mentions:
Ringo Starr  Rewind Forward
Joe Perry  Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII
Lana Del Rey  Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.
10. Extreme  Six
9. Scream  DC Special
8. Dhani Harrison  INNERSTANDING
7. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds  Council Skies
6. 3rd Secret  The 2nd 3rd Secret
5. U2  Songs of Surrender
Tumblr media
U2 look back at their entire career, with re-recordings of 40 of their biggest hits. It’s like a lost MTV Unplugged album as they strip their own music to it’s core without technology and effects!
4. Wilco  Cousin
Tumblr media
A serious return to the experimental rock sound Wilco perfected in the early 00s with this album and it gets better with each listen!
3. Inhaler  Cuts & Bruises
Tumblr media
Irish alt-rockers Inhaler just keep getting better and better with each release!
2. Foo Fighters  But Here We Are
Tumblr media
Dave Grohl and the Foos released this album all about grieving a year after the death of former drummer Taylor Hawkins and Grohl’s mother Virginia. I’d put this up there with Sting’s The Soul Cages as one of the great albums about processing the death of a loved one!
1. The Rolling Stones  Hackney Diamonds
Tumblr media
The Stones, all in their 70s and 80s, made their best album of original music since 1981’s Tattoo You. There’s loads of guest stars, but it’s really the sense of a band 60+ years into their career making a rocker of an album that’s reminding fans what we loved about them to begin with!

Security Breach.
Tumblr media
Alright. I think it’s about time.
Tumblr media
You’re getting ready to breach?
*Eden watches as Kaede takes a grenade out of her backpack.
Tumblr media
Yeah. Munakata needs me to detonate this near the area of the map he pointed out. Judging from the layout, it should be just around that hatch.
Tumblr media
Over there, huh?
*Eden and Kaede poke their heads up above their hiding spot, and see the periscopes and sensors active.
Tumblr media
You aren’t gonna be able to lob it from here. And if you try to get closer, they’re gonna see you.
Tumblr media
...You’re right...Hm...
Tumblr media
...!
*Kaede thinks for a moment, then suddenly gets an idea. She takes the grenade pouch and pulls it tightly into a rope.
Tumblr media
Hold on...
*She then uses the pouch to tie the grenade to her Mozart MKII Spear. She then holds the spear horizontally, and uses it’s ability to make it float.
Tumblr media
...That could just work...
Tumblr media
...
*Kaede retains focus and moves the spear forward through the air. With the grenade strapped to it, it floats over the bunker without triggering the sensors.
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
Kaede! Periscope, 9 o’clock!
Tumblr media
!!?
*Using her predictions to their advantage, Eden warns Kaede in time as a periscope pops out of the ground next to the spear. Kaede quickly moves her spear and hides it behind a tree. The periscope looks around for a moment, then retreats back into the ground.
Tumblr media
Phew! Thanks...
Tumblr media
Hehe~
...*Kaede resumes focus and moves the spear further forward, until she’s right above the spot. The grenade pouch becomes lose and the grenade itself falls and lands on the ground, immediately triggering the sensors and causing the periscopes to appear.
Tumblr media
NOW!
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!*
*Kaede controls her spear and causes it to crash on the grenade. The spear’s properties cause the reaction to trigger immediately, and a massive explosion bursts out and blows the lab wide open!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
GAAGH!?
Tumblr media
!!?
Tumblr media
!!?
*WOO-WOO-WOO-WOO-WOO-WOO!*
*Ando and his Monokuma helpers topple over as the explosion shakes the entire lab system. Items fall off his tables, as a loud blaring alarm sounds out throughout the facility.
Tumblr media
Tch...!
*Ando grabs a protective helmet and dons it, turning towards the tied-up detectives.
Tumblr media
Friends of yours I presume? They arrived quicker than I would have thought...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AAAAAAAAHAHAAAGH!?
*Not too far away, the Monokubs, traveling together as a group, also fly around in a panic at the explosion.
Tumblr media
GAAGH! I-I feel...NAUSEOUS! BLUUEAGH!
Tumblr media
WHAT THE HELL’S GOING ON!?
Tumblr media
SOMEONE DROPPED THE BASE HELLA HARD!
Tumblr media
BEEP-! *Whirr* WE-HAVE-A-BREACH!
Tumblr media
Let’s get the hell outta here!
*They scuttle down the tunnels together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Great! Just in time!
*Kaede hears sounds above her, as the choppers full of soldiers fly by. Kaede’s squadron stops next to her, and the Future Foundation soldiers descend down on lines to join her.
Tumblr media
Get down into the lab! I’ll be right behind you!
Tumblr media
Hey! Let me come too!
Tumblr media
No! I can’t do that Eden. I don’t want to put you at risk.
Tumblr media
Stay here, and make sure no one escapes. Anyone or anything tries to get through here, you turn them back, or you turn them into fertilizer!
*Kaede turns and rushes down towards the breached hatch with her soldiers.
Tumblr media
...Alright, fine. I’ll bite.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hragh!
Tumblr media
BAAWWR!
Tumblr media
PUHAHAHAHAHA!
*Kaede leaps down into the lab and recalls her spear as the Monokuma’s inside start to rush at her and her soldiers. Despite the explosion from before, her spear is in peak condition.
Tumblr media
Wow! Barely even a scratch!
*She readies herself and turns around to her squadron
Tumblr media
This is it boys! SCRAP ‘EM!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BREACH AND CLEAR! GO GO GO!
*Munakata and his men dive out of their chopper and arrive at the first door. A charge is quickly planted and the door is blown wide open. They waste no time in rushing inside.
Soldier: Sir! We appear to be in the clear. No enemies currently in sight.
Tumblr media
Looks like Kaede Akamatsu’s distraction is working.
Tumblr media
Remain on your guards. We’re not likely to be alone for long!
Tumblr media
Soldier: You sure you’re ok, sir?
Tumblr media
Yeah! Yeah, don’t worry, I got this! I got...GRUAAGH!
*Clenching his stomach, Kuripa slides down the wire outside the other door, after watching Munakata and his men descend from a distance. Kuripa and his squad land safely.
Soldier: Get a charge on this door! Blow it wide-
Tumblr media
DRRAAGH!
*SLAAAAMM!*
*Kuripa leans down and shoulder tackles the steel doors out of their sockets.
Soldier: Oh! Uh...Never mind! That works too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HYAGH!
Tumblr media
BAHAUGH!
*Kaede rushes forward and slices through a beastly Monokuma using her spear. As she continues to take out all the assaulting enemies down the tunnel, the soldiers continue to push their way through, opening fire on any enemies and clearing out the lab.
Soldier: Commander! Incoming!
Tumblr media
Huh!?
Tumblr media
PUHUHUHU!
*FWOOOOM!*
*Two Destroyer Monokuma’s soar down the tunnel with their jetpacks, and once they get within distance, they spurt flames straight at Kaede and her men.
Tumblr media
NEUGH!
*WHOOSH!* *WHOOSH!* *WHOOSH!* *WHOOSH!* *WHOOSH!*
*Kaede wheels her spear around as fast as she can to fan and deflect the flames, but she becomes worn down easily.
Soldier: COMMANDER!
Tumblr media
I can’t...HOLD THEM...!
Tumblr media
AAHAHAHAHAA-HEAUCK!
Tumblr media
DAAAGHKK!?
Tumblr media
!!??
*Kaede and her men stand their ground, but then are given a chance to relax as both Destroyer’s are suddenly sliced completely in half.
Tumblr media
Hoo...Not a bad clean up job all things considered. Need some help?
Tumblr media
Phew! Don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to see you before, Kuripa. Thanks for the save.
Tumblr media
No problem. Now let’s hurry and find Boytoy and Bosswife!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hey...did ya’ll sees what I sees?
Tumblr media
Holy crap...!? They killed dad! Like...ALL of dad!
Tumblr media
What happened!? Daddy was supposed to be the strongest of all time!?
Tumblr media
Hey...Izit just me, or does that blond chick look kinda familiar?
Tumblr media
THAT-WAS-KAEDE-AKAMATSU. THE-ULTIMATE-PIANIST. THE-GIRL-THE-MASTERMIND-FRAMED-FOR-RANTARO-AMAMI’S-DEATH.
Tumblr media
YOU’RE KIDDIN’!
Tumblr media
I barely recognize her! Who knew she had become this strong...!?
Tumblr media
H-Hey...Monotaro! You’re the leader. What do we do?
Tumblr media
I’ll tell you what we’ll do...
Tumblr media
Monokid! What should we do!?
Tumblr media
Huh!? Ugh...I dunno! Monosuke! What should we do!?
Tumblr media
Nyeegh...Hey, Mono-dumb?
Tumblr media
YES?
Tumblr media
You still got that bomb Doc Ando gave ya?
Tumblr media
AFFIRMATIVE.
Tumblr media
Good. Keep a nice tight hold o’ that. Future Foundation might be able to destroy or deactivate the othah bombs, but so long as we keep this one away from ‘em, they’re fucked!
Tumblr media
So run and hide like cowards? I like that idea!
*The Monokubs run off to hide like cowards while Kuripa and Kaede storm their way through the lab towards Shuichi and Kyoko.

The Best Audio Equipment for Music Producers: A Comprehensive Guide
Tumblr media
If you're a music producer looking to elevate your production quality, investing in the right audio equipment is crucial. Just as important as selecting the right gear is having access to high-quality music, which is why the best place to buy royalty-free songs is a critical resource. These tracks, often created by award-winning artists, can instantly enhance your projects, from YouTube videos to advertisements, offering instant licenses for personal or commercial use.
Let’s dive into the essential audio equipment every music producer needs and explore the best options available, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro.
Essential Audio Equipment for Music Producers
To create professional-sounding tracks, you need the right tools in your studio. Here are the essentials:
Audio Interfaces
An audio interface is the hub of your music production setup, allowing you to connect instruments, microphones, and speakers to your computer. High-quality interfaces ensure clear sound with low latency.
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2: Great for beginners due to its affordability and ease of use.

Audio-Technica ATH-M50x: A great all-rounder with balanced sound.
Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro: Known for their comfort and detailed audio reproduction.
Premium Audio Gear for Advanced Producers
If you're serious about taking your production quality to the next level, these advanced tools are worth the investment.
High-End Microphones
A premium microphone can make a noticeable difference in vocal and instrument recordings. These mics capture every nuance with pristine clarity.
Neumann U87: A studio staple for professional-grade vocals.
AKG C414: Versatile and ideal for capturing a range of sounds, from vocals to guitars.
Outboard Gear
While digital plugins are convenient, outboard analog gear can add warmth and character to your recordings. Compressors, preamps, and equalizers are common pieces of outboard gear.
Universal Audio 1176: A legendary compressor used by top studios worldwide.
SSL G-Comp: A high-end analog compressor perfect for adding punch to your mixes.
Budget-Friendly Audio Equipment
Not every producer can afford premium gear, but that doesn’t mean you have to compromise on quality. Here’s a look at some affordable options that still deliver impressive results.
Budget Audio Interfaces
If you're starting out, these budget audio interfaces will give you solid sound quality without draining your bank account.
Behringer UMC22: A simple yet reliable interface for beginners.

Affordable Studio Monitors
Great studio monitors don’t have to cost a fortune. These options provide accurate sound on a budget.
JBL 305P MkII: A highly-regarded option for under $150 per monitor.
Mackie CR3-X: Small but powerful monitors for home studios.
Room Acoustics and Soundproofing
Having the best equipment won’t mean much if your room’s acoustics aren’t treated properly. Room treatment is essential for achieving a true, balanced sound.
Acoustic Panels
Acoustic panels reduce unwanted reverb and echo, helping you hear your music more clearly.
Auralex Acoustics Studiofoam: Affordable and easy to install.
ATS Acoustic Panels: High-quality and customizable to match your studio aesthetic.
Bass Traps and Diffusers
Bass traps are crucial for controlling low frequencies, while diffusers help scatter sound evenly, reducing harsh reflections.
GIK Acoustics Bass Traps: Efficient at reducing low-frequency buildup.
Primeacoustic Scatter Blocks: Excellent diffusion and sound control for professional studios.
Conclusion
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to upgrade your studio, investing in the right audio equipment is key to producing high-quality music. From premium audio interfaces to budget-friendly monitors, each piece of gear plays an important role in shaping your sound. Don’t forget, beyond just the equipment, having access to top-notch, premium royalty-free music from the best place to buy royalty-free songs will also elevate your projects, ensuring your tracks sound polished and professional for any platform.

It doesn’t matter how good I get it’s so easy for people to get cheap lucky easy kills that I just don’t FUCKING win fights anymore. Isaac does. All the content on the channel HIS gameplay because I’m not good enough. I know our channel will take off eventually but not with my gameplay. He’s actually good. It’s that simple. I’ve spent a few years now trying really hard to learn to be good to know everything I need to know and I did it. I’m good at the game. I’m above average I’ve even been doing better lately I’ve been sniping people out of cars and MKII and all sorts of stuff but it doesn’t matter because I can I have 10 amazing clips and one little encounter ruins my confidence and self esteem. I got the PERFECT kek yesturday. I recently bought a rg unicorn and the shoulders on the pre molded transparent joints were so tight that it snapped the shoulder. I have metal shoulder replacements coming from China. Do other real grades come with pre assembled joints that i need to wory about , or is that only a thing on the unicorn because of the transparent psycho frame ?
Basically every RG prior to the Unicorn has that preassembled inner frame. Some of the newer RGs technically retain some of that but they really REALLY moved away from that with the RG Nu Gundam in big ways. Modern RGs are more akin to mini Master Grades.
Epyon’s Whip, the Zeong’s hands and the God Gundams upper arms are the most recent examples of where they use it still.
With the older RGs always do some research before snagging them but there’s still some great older RG’s that have that inner frame (the mkii comes to mind). Just keep in mind that 1) with those frames it’s always important to grab them in the appropriate spots bc yes they can be incredibly tight (my red frame has a hip joint permanently stuck) and 2) those frames tend to age poorly. If you’ve ever heard the term Real Grade Syndrome it’s bc those early RG’s tend to get floppy as they age.
Hope this helps! Good luck with your Unicorn! It’s one of the better Unicorn kits out there and it looks so good too

OK, I am a HUGE Mesa guy and I am always always let down by the Rect models on any modeler. The levels are fairly even except the bass on the 67 you may have to cut some. Tweakers delight!!Ĭab mic type goes from a standard 57, to angled 57 (more mids, less treb), to a 400 Series Dyn, and then a 67 which kind of scoops the midrange. You can really alter the voicing using a Boost w EQ in the drive block as well as fine tune even more with the after amp EQ. This unit uses FR speakers in the cab, so you have be mindful of that. Spider V has a decent EQ and some of the other eq shaping and tonal balancing can be eased by dropping gain and boosting amp model volume. See what starting points you have, and then go from there. Kill the gates, take off compressors, cut the amp gain (damnnear dimed in most fcty presets lol), try different cab models. Just like all of these units, I started patches from scratch. Mattball826 has a great V240 review with tips here:Īmp is loud, tweakable, better with post eq shaping (internal eq blockpost amp)

#PERFECT RADIO HOST LINE 6 POD FARM PRESET SOFTWARE#
*** New Windows and Mac remote software to control the Spider V via USB *** We have opened a discussion thread in the Pub section discussing this. We will include a very detailed password checklist. We want to highly recommend that members turn on and use TGP's two-factor authentication option. We highly recommend every member reading this change their passwords as a precaution. We have forced email revalidation for all members that have not signed on for a while. None of the accounts compromised were using two-factor authentication. Talking to one member as I am working through getting his account back in order, he informed me that his Apple password manager had been compromised and made available on the dark web. In today's world, that is false confidence you can no longer afford.Įvery account that I've restored so far to the original owner was using compromised passwords. It is heartbreaking to see that the lure of saving some money will still fool people into using those methods to save a few dollars. Unfortunately, we cannot control how members do deals. However, the best way to prevent this is for members to exercise proper password hygiene (which I'll detail below), turn on two-factor authentication, and - I implore every single person here - only use payment methods that have buyer protection. We've made security changes that I don't want to detail here to stop them. They have scammed members in the Emporiums by creating ads with stolen photos and requesting Paypal F&F or Venmo exclusively for payment. Some fraudsters have compromised TGP accounts have in the past few days.

Nano Hollywood Rides
The Transformers
GI Joe
by Jada Toys (2020)
I wasn’t going to buy these, but as a kid I always loved Micro Machines (i know these aren’t MM), but I figured, ‘What the heck’. I ended up buying three sets of the G.I. Joe Nanos because I enjoy army building. I may buy more later. Who’s to say...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
H.I.S.S. Tank:
The Cobra H.I.S.S. tank is my favorite out of this set. It’s di cast metal (all the vehicles are) and the deco is a glossy black paint, with a matte gray for the canopy, some numbers and the Cobra symbol. All in all the HISS tank looks great!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
V.A.M.P. MKII:
It’s a jeep with missile pods. It’s great!
Tumblr media
Snowcat:
The Snowcat is, I think a G.I. Joe vehicle, but I don’t exactly remember. It looks good, and I dig the half-track with the missile launcher up on top.
Tumblr media
Transformers:.
The three transformers are Bumblebee, Optimus Prime and Starscream.
Tumblr media
They’re al Micro Machines scale, and made out of di cast metal.
Tumblr media
Optimus and Bumblebee are mainly one of two colors.
Tumblr media
While Starscream has a very metallic silver paint deco, with some more refined paint detailing on the wings and intakes.
Tumblr media
Using my old Micro Machines playset these Jada Nano vehicles and fit in great, and I set up
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Starscream just blends right in with the aircraft carrier and the Micro Machine jets.

Had to wait till i got home to continue bc i couldnt find a good reference on my phone that wasnt art someone made (and i refuse to use someone’s art without permission even if it’s just an image made to have a transparent background). ANYWHO: Boost MkII!!!!! Ive long said that i prefer Geats forms that prioritize Boost over Magum and well….this does not help Magnum’s case! He looks so awesome, the bright red armor and yellow eyes i like from regular Boost, but slapped on a spiffy new form! I particularly like the black armor pieces with red lining, extremely cool. It’s just a great suit! Probably my favorite so far alongside Glare and Gazer.

It is now one of my favorite months of the year! In addition to it being Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (May 1-31), Cinco de Mayo (May 5), Mother’s Day (May 14), and Memorial Day (May 29), here is what’s on my radar this month:

I’ve been a fan since Family Ties and Back to the Future and I’ve been hearing nothing but great things about this since it’s Sundance premiere. Opens on 5/12 and Apple TV+.
Master Gardener
Legendary writer/director Paul Schrader has been on a roll in recent years with First Reformed and the highly underrated The Card Counter (my #5 Movie of 2021). His new thriller with Joel Edgarton opens 5/19.

Director Nicole Holofcener and star Julia Louis-Dreyfus made a great team on Enough Said. Now they are back together in this dramedy opening 5/26.

Best midi keyboards 2022
Tumblr media
A MIDI controller keyboard is an essential piece of equipment in any studio. The best MIDI controllers can take your recordings to a whole new level. If you're not sure where to start, we've got all the information you need right here. USB-based MIDI controllers offer an easy and convenient way to play and record software instruments with your computer. They can be plugged directly into your PC or laptop via USB, or in some cases they can operate wirelessly over Bluetooth. This makes them a central performance hub for your studio, allowing you to play and record software instruments with ease. Some MIDI controllers also double up as a control interface for hardware synths, making them an essential piece of kit for any producer or musician. There are a variety of different MIDI keyboards to choose from, depending on your needs. You can go for a smaller, more portable model that fits comfortably in a laptop bag, or you can go all out with a full-sized 88-note keyboard with weighted keys. The most important factors to consider include the number of keys (some models have 88 keys, while others have fewer), the type of action (weighted keys or not), and whether or not you need additional features such as knobs, pads, buttons and faders. When shopping for a MIDI keyboard, it's important to consider what you need in order to make the best purchase. You can get a cheap model for less than $100 if you look around, but if you're looking for a higher quality option with more features, you'll likely have to spend a bit more. In general, MIDI keyboards that cost more tend to be more rugged and able to stand up to travel. So, if you're looking for something to take on the road with you, it might be worth spending a bit more. Finding the right one for you can be a daunting task. With so many options available, it can be hard to know where to start. Our price comparison widgets have found the best deals online right now, so you can be sure you're getting the best possible price. If you need more guidance, head to the buying advice section at the bottom of the page. There, you'll find tips and advice on how to find the perfect product for your needs.

MDI keyboard selection criteria
The best piano replacements don't have to strictly follow the 88 weighted key rule. There are many great pianos that don't follow this rule, and can still produce beautiful music. So, don't be afraid to choose a different type of piano if it speaks to you. Ultimately, the best piano for you is the one that you feel most comfortable playing and that makes you happy. What are we looking for: - High build quality; - Soft touch keys; - Pitch-bend and modwheel; - Velocity/pressure sensitivity. Choosing a MIDI keyboard can be a difficult process, especially if you don’t know what to look for. There are a few important factors you need to consider, such as the build quality and playability of the keyboard. This list is short due to those factors, but it will ensure that any recommendation we make will feel well-built and playable. You won’t regret your purchase if you take these factors into consideration. When it comes to MIDI controllers, there are a few different things you'll need to decide on before making a purchase. The first decision is the keybed size- some controllers come in miniature 25-key sizes, while others are full sized with 88 keys. Aside from the number of keys, the controllers are essentially the same. The following parameters will need to be guided subjectively at your own discretion: - Number of Keys. The number of keys on a keyboard can affect its price and bulkiness. More keys mean a higher price and more bulk, which might be unnecessary if you’re not playing classical pieces. 49 keys are good enough for synthesizer-focused players, whereas 61 keys are a good amount for keyboardists who need; - Key Type. Synth-action keys are the most common type of keys found on digital pianos. They are generally more lightweight and responsive than weighted keys, but still provide a sense of resistance that is often desired in piano playing. Weighted keys, on the other hand, offer a heavier touch that can be more advantageous for certain types of music. Semi-weighted keys are a rarer option that falls somewhere in between the two, offering players the best of both worlds in terms of responsiveness and resistance; - Number of Controls. It's good to have knobs and buttons for assigning software functions with MIDI Learn, but most of us don't need a full digital mixing board. If we did, we'd be buying something else. Knowing what you need is key. If you don't need the controls, you can get the same keybed on the Nektar SE49, which is a stripped-down version of the Nektar GX49. Knowing what you need is key to getting the right product; - Number of Controls. Knowing what you need is key to getting the right product; - Aftertouch is one of the most unique and expressive features on a keyboard. Unlike typical pressure sensitivity, aftertouch continues to detect how hard you’re pushing down until you let go. This can be used to add extra layers of expressivity to your performances on instruments like organs, where aftertouch can be assigned to control the rotary speaker speed; - 5-Pin MIDI Support. If you're using a MIDI controller that doesn't have a MIDI port, you can use a USB MIDI interface to send MIDI signals through a traditional 5-pin MIDI cable. However, this can be inconvenient because USB ports are limited on laptops. Here's an example of how to connect a USB MIDI controller to legacy hardware: USB MIDI Keyboard -> Computer -> USB MIDI Interface -> 5-Pin MIDI Cable -> Legacy Hardware. Although it's possible to use USB MIDI controllers without a MIDI port, it's not as straightforward; - Pads. Pads are an important part of a keyboard, but they are not a necessary component. They are essentially larger buttons, which can be helpful for playing on a main keyboard. Finger drumming is a popular activity, but I find that keyboard-drumming is more precise. Your own experience may vary; - Pedal Support. When looking for a keyboard, it's important to consider whether or not the model has a pedal jack. Not all keyboards have this feature, particularly the smaller, portable 25-key models. However, it's always better to be safe than sorry, so it's best to make sure that the model you're interested in includes pedal support. This can be either through a proprietary jack or otherwise; - Software Support. MIDI controllers that are designed to integrate well with specific software can be a great option for musicians who want the best possible experience with their music-making tools. By choosing a controller that is specifically tailored to work well with your software, you can eliminate many of the compatibility issues that can arise when using different programs. This can lead to a smoother, more efficient workflow and help you get the most out of your music-making.

The Nektar SE25 proves that features and playability don't need to be sacrificed for the sake of size and portability. This MIDI controller is small enough to fit in a laptop bag, but it still has 25 keys with full-size velocity and aftertouch. There's also a 4-way joystick for pitch and mod control, as well as buttons, knobs, and faders for even more control over your sound. Plus, the SE25 is USB powered, so you can just plug it into your laptop or computer and start making music right away. If you're looking for a small MIDI keyboard and don't want to break the bank, Nektar's new SE25 is well worth considering. It's not the cheapest option out there, but it offers good value for money, and we found it to be thoroughly impressive during testing. It's a simple, compact product, but it does everything you need it to do - no more, no less. 2. Novation Launchkey Mini Mk3 MIDI keyboard

The Irig Keys 2 is a great keyboard controller that is a bit on the expensive side. This offers many of the same features at a smaller size and for less money. Tumblr media
Compatibility: PC, Mac No of Keys: 32 Key size: Mini Key type: Velocity-sensitive Controls: Eight touch-sensitive control knobs, two touch strips, four-directional push encoder Connectivity: USB Power: USB Size: 47.5 x 16.7 x 0.5cm Weight (kg): 1.45kg The Komplete Kontrol A-Series is a USB 2.0 bus-powered keyboard that manages to squeeze 32 mini keys and the full complement of Komplete Kontrol controls into its tiny frame. It delivers almost the same functionality as the Komplete Kontrol S-Series (see below), making it an excellent mobile option for producers on the go. The Komplete Kontrol M32 replaced the pitch and modulation controls with a pair of short touch strips. Also, the controller is equipped with 8 capacitive knobs, a 4d encoder, as well as numerous buttons that are incomparable in their tactile sensations. All this provides a high comfort of control, working with the operating Maschine, as well as using the interface of your DAW. The OLED display and Smart Play features from the A-Series are also in place on the B-Series, allowing you to scale snap, chord trigger and arpeggiate with ease. As a regular MIDI controller keyboard, it also works with any other software. The mini keys were the only downside to this keyboard for us. We found that we could live with them after some getting used to them, so if you can live with them too, this is the best portable and affordable MIDI keyboard you can buy. 6. Korg microKEY2 Air-25
Tumblr media

If you're looking for a MIDI controller keyboard that's easy to set up and operate, the microKey 2 Air 25 is a great option. It has a 3-segment LED display, instead of the OLED display on the Pro, and it has 8 back-lit red pads instead of 16 multi-coloured ones. However, it still provides access to 16 sound sources from the front panel when programming. The Oxygen 49 lacks a dedicated MIDI out port, but it does have other features that make it stand out from the crowd. These functions are mostly triggered via soft keys and via 'secondary modes' from the keybed itself. Read the full article
