Before Romance Dawn

Mihawk has a crew but has been keeping away from them for more than a decade to hide them from the government's radar.

Each crewmate had their own coffin boat they used for stealthy attacks.

He met Shanks some time before Roger's execution, but their friendly banters began almost right afterwards. Mihawk's goal had always been to become the strongest swordsman in the world, and Shanks became aware of how weak he was when his captain was executed, so he promised himself to become the very best as well.

At some point, the two of them were considered part of the “Supernovas” of their generation. (I compare them to Luffy and Law to some degree).

Shanks does know and is friendly with Mihawk's crew, just as the swordsman is with the Red Hair Pirates. He keeps their secret and supports Mihawk's play pretend to make everyone believe he's a one-man-crew.

Sometime before Shanks stayed for a year at Dawn Island and lost his arm, their fights became so stupidly dangerous their crews helped the locals evacuate the area for safety.

Eventually they both grew desperate there wasn't a clear winner and they decided to call it a truce, only to fight on a daily basis over the dumbest things.

Over the course of a single year, they had dance-offs, sing-offs, food wars, eating competitions and many many other dumb stuff Mihawk would rather not talk about ever again.

Shanks, on the other hand, won’t shut up about them.

Hawks is a very good cook and a terrific dancer because of that, tho.

Mihawk accepted the title as Shichibukai ten years ago, only because he was bored. Shanks had already lost his arm and mostly no one was able to stand against him in battle, so he took the position to be left alone.

The reason his crew managed to stay off the radar was because Mihawk alone became really famous thanks to his rivalry with Shanks. Though the crew was feared, most people never knew their captain was none other than Hawk Eye Mihawk. When they vanished from sight, most people believed they had been either captured or killed.

Before the timeskip

Mihawk is Shanks' son goth-father (lol. And yes, you know what child I'm talking about you cannot take that headcanon away from me). If Mihawk ever got a child, he'd pick Shanks as their godfather too.

He hasn't considered parenthood as a viable option, but if he did, he'd rather have a daughter (*coughcoughcough*).

His attendance ratio to meetings with the government is below 40%. He only attends when absolutely necessary mostly because he doesn't want to lose his privilege of being left alone.

He's not friendly with the other Warlords, specially Doflamingo, Crocodile and Moria, knowing of the abuse they make of their positions.

Mihawk was ok with Kuma, though he's often tired of his religious preaching. He knew of his alliance with the Revolutionaries before turning into a Pacifista, but doesn’t dwell on it. He’s kinda bitter he sent him Zoro and Perona, though, even if he grew to like the two of them.

He'd never met Hancock before Marineford, but had heard many things about the Snake Princess that made him want to fight against her at some point.

He was actually friendly towards Jinbei until he got imprisoned at Impel Down, but he always believed he was kinda foolish for risking too much in defying Big Mom and joining Luffy’s crew.

Law seemed a promising warlord and another interesting rival swordsman, but it was more than obvious he was just using the government as a stepping stone. He wishes he could also fight him at some point.

He doesn’t have Blackbeard in good regards for his underhanded methods. He didn’t like him because of his beef with Shanks, and he likes him even less afterwards what happened in Marineford. He’s intrigued by his Devil Fruits’ powers, but doesn’t wish to fight against him.

Mihawk knows Buggy is Shanks' friend but cannot believe he was appointed as a Shichibukai. He'd fought against him briefly at Marineford and he thinks Buggy is just one very, very lucky idiot with a bothersome Devil Fruit.

The moment Weevil was appointed as a warlord, Mihawk knew the government no longer needed them.

Living with Zoro & Perona Pt. 1

Mihawk felt he had lost a spark until he met Zoro. When they clashed in East Blue, he took a liking to the young swordsman because he greatly reminded him of himself when he was younger.

We joke a lot about Mihawk’s chronic depression, but I hc that he actually suffers from it. He has a strict training regime and often follows a tight schedule and diet to keep it at bay.

If he feels like his depression is hitting him hard, he stops drinking for a while. He doesn’t take medication.

It was getting really bad until Zoro defied him and later on he and Perona crashed into his home. Ever since the three of them had been living together, he has felt his depressive episodes are shorter and not as hard to overcome.

He has never told anyone about this, though he is sure Shanks and his former crewmates know.

At first he was really annoyed Kuma had sent him two children to take care, but as time went by, he began to enjoy their company a lot. Zoro was a good practice partner and Perona had similar tastes in decor, books and fashion.

He still thinks they are annoying, mostly when they fight, but he gets them to shut up real fast.

Mihawk kills bugs around the castle for Perona, after too much nagging.

He forbid Zoro from drinking while mastering haki because he knows that’s what works for him when he needs to focus.

You’d never hear him say it out loud, but he’s quite attached to the humandrills. When they became a bit more amicable, he’d usually talk to them and pat them.

Contrary to what Perona and Zoro initialy thought, Mihawk is a dog person. He doesn’t dislike cats, but he freaking loves dogs.

He would never want to have one, since he believes he’d not be able to take care of another living being.

Perona considered giving him one, but decided it was better not to piss him off or she’d end up taking care of the pup.

In some timeline in which they keep living together (andmarryandhaveadaughter) they do adopt a dog and call him Cerberus. Mihawk likes crafting armor for him.

Mihawk is good at remembering important dates and very good at giving gifts. He once gave Zoro a silver flask and Perona a very beautiful sundress. In return, they try to give him cool gifts for his birthday, but they never manage to win against him lol

Mihawk pretends he doesn’t know where a certain cocoa tree came from. Perona knows.

His death just, I don't know. It really did hurt. When he thought about all the books he bought and didn't read?? that hit so close to home. how many books did I buy but I never read?? That line made him so painfully human and tears. I'm in tears.

Another death that hit me hard was Junpei's. I think it was the fact that he could've been okay but wasn't. His friendship with Yuuji, the idea that maybe he could've joined the main 3 and be supported by Gojo in a Gojo way? I even read some hc that talked about a mentor!Nanami/mentee!Junpei relationship. And Ig I understand that idea that not everyone can be saved but I so desperately wanted him to be saved. He lived such a shitty life and then he got this? when things started to look ok, that they could get better he just- It makes me angry and sad :)

What I'm about to say is probably biased as fuck, but I genuinely dislike Sukuna. Idc. Modern AU/fanon Sukuna is fine and the way people write him as Yuuji's brother is cute sometimes. Canon Sukuna tho? I despise that bitch. I feel so much hatred for him you don't even know. Nanako and Mimiko's death hit me out of nowhere when I was reading bits of the manga. I was so angry, I wanted to punch a wall.

I will admit that sometimes I dislike shipping bc of reasons that might be a bit controversial?? I don't think I'd be able to explain them properly in an anon message. I thought Gojo was 6'7, last time I checked, which actually kinda killed me a bit inside ngl. I refuse to believe it tho, it just doesn't make sense to me for some reason?? Im so excited for Toji to be animated! I'm kinda scared that my expectations are too high bc of Tumblr and that I will get disappointed BUT im still hyped for everything new that's coming our way :D

I think its sadder for Levi to keep living on and even though I hate it I kinda like it in a way? I think people are always so scared to watch their favourite characters die but in this case Levi stays alive and its worse than him dying ig? I've never felt that conflict before, and its and interesting feeling + internal debate. Tbh a small part of me still thinks him not dying was bc the fandom loves Levi too much so he literally couldn't die or people would've rioted ,but you know.

Nothing makes me rage more than the way teenagers are treated in shonen. putting them through heart wrenching and traumatic situations, expecting them to act like adults just doesn't sit right with me and makes me want to scream. I loved Sasha so much, she was one of my comfort characters growing up until I drifted away from aot, and even though I should've expected it bc its aot it still hurt. Nothing feels fair in that manga/anime lol.

I'm all for reading your thoughts on Hanji though! She was a great character!

ngl i wasn't as affected by junpei's death. it seemed so... set up? probably cause i read the manga before the anime and didn't get fooled by the opening, but i knew junpei would die eventually. i didn't feel much connection to him whatsoever, he was okay but definitely had more space to grow. he was a wasted potential, and that's exactly how he was supposed to be seen as. i really liked the scene where ijichi lets itadori go to save junpei, i found that scene so well made and choreographed. reminds you a little of geto, eh?

ngl even tho he's a rat bastard, i really like sukuna. yeah. i said it. i'm a hypocrite. he's sexy yeah but his "you were strong" to jogo before he killed him made me have at least a little respect for him. he's smart, i feel like he has a bigger plan than what fans theorize. he's such a well written villain too and it's a shame we never really got to see him since shibuya. i wonder what's his reaction to all this culling game stuff. i also believe he will play a big role on killing kenjaku somehow, if he already hasn't made a pact with him thousands of years ago. i dislike the fanon sukuna tho, idk. i like canon devil sukuna

the manga is good, i enjoyed the anime, not a huge fan. my friend says the next arcs are pretty solid, i only finished this season's arc. i should continue lol. the style is pretty... original. idk it's a solid 7 i would say so far

ahhhhh im so happy naicha is back!!!!

apparently he’s the only member of blackace who is capable of talking to girls LOL but his interactions with sis are so fun!! he’s definitely the type to be like fun in casual but all business when it comes to the stage.

the way they cut the blackace rehearsals it feels like they’re trying to make naicha look bad, but then you literally get all the blackace kids commenting like “we love naicha” LOL such contrast to the angsty background music they put on while naicha is leading dance practice lol... but despite the editing, I feel like you can tell he’s not actually like yelling at them because he’s super mad or thinks they’re incapable. (which is what i feel like it could appear like, to people who are not familiar with him or his friendship dynamic) i think it’s just that naicha has a naturally loud / nagging voice (LOL) and then he sasses them during practice because he knows they wont take it as actual insults and instead will take it as motivation that he knows they can do better. for example, long ge like smiling the whole time that naicha nags him, and then literally saying he doesnt think naicha’s expectations of him are too high.

hearing naicha talking about bringing out individual members’ strengths like long ge’s just.. ahhhhhh brings back all the tuo xian mu ou and afo feels!!!! this is what I love about him. his leadership style is really focused on the group and bringing every individual up to strengthen the group as a whole. he was the leader who cared the least about promoting himself and putting himself in the center. he doesn’t care about being in the center. he cares about the group as a whole and the stage as a whole, and I missed his loud mouthed gabbing and harsh love leadership style.

I AM SO HAPPY AND SO NOT SURPRISED AND SO GRATEFUL that as soon as naicha comes back, their individual skills are so strongly highlighted through this performance and i love it!!!! i love how he instituted a significant dance break to really highlight the dancers’ abilities, because that’s literally half (4 out of 8) of blackace’s appeal and they have yet to really demonstrate to people that they!! have!! amazing!! dancers!! and i love how even after aj doesn’t choreograph the dance, he still gets to really wow people with his dancing at center stage!! and ofc as soon as naicha comes back, he incorporates chen shun’s notable fast rap yesss!!!! and he even incorporated a notable vocal part for pinlin!!! taking advantage of pinlin’s valuable vocals!!! yesss!!

also im not surprised at all that this stage is completely different from the previous stages, which were very much AJ’s style. rather than electronic-y dance music, naicha’s stages on afo were usually more dramatic and theatrical. I like both styles tho. aj’s stages feel very street, very modern, very slick. naicha’s feels like a stage production. Naicha’s style does fit long ge well because he knows long ge so well and trusts and knows that long ge is an excellent performer who can excel with the correct backdrop. as his former team leader, im sure that this went into his consideration when planning for this stage. Im not surprised naicha didnt plan the stage around pinlin being center because it just seems like he doesn’t believe in “one center” as a concept in general LOL. plus no one in txmo had the stage presence and attraction ability that pinlin has, and unfortunately that means naicha has yet to optimally utilize pinlin’s potential as a center.

I’m glad they all respected pinlin to give him the center role last time, knowing that he deserved it. I’m kinda not surprised tho that pinlin and naicha are clashing a bit now. naicha was like the underdog on afo who no one expected to win but you couldnt help but respect anyway because of the way he designed his stages with such care for every other person on his team. pinlin was the shoe-in who always had the spotlight on stage. their general approaches to the stage are so different. and not in a AJ vs naicha type different. AJ and naicha have different styles of a similar approach, but I feel like pinlin and naicha are just completely different. like how pinlin saying he’s more of a “regular idol” and is different from the rest of them. (ngl style-wise, its always been “the dancers” vs everyone else when I look at blackace.... and then it doesn’t help that everyone else besides pinlin and wang di were either in AJ or naicha’s teams... so.... they’re naturally gonna be closely associated in my mind to the dancers’ side than pinlin’s side) AJ is easy going almost to a fault, but naicha is not the type to take any crap. and pinlin has been stubborn ever since super idol lol so I can imagine there being some conflict between the two. conflict that was not nearly as prominent before naicha arrived.

naicha going on weibo to literally type out an essay to explain himself and the evil editing tho..... imagine how much hate he must be getting and how frustrated he must be as a result. im sad people are complaining about the way he designed the stage because thats literally one of his strengths. but on the bright side, he knows it too. he defended himself logically and with detailed explanation and I respect that. and I respect that he was like “if you dont get it, you dont get it” because he knows some people are just hating for sake of hating and hes not gonna bother. honestly i think the part distribution seems fair?? it seems like there’s relative good close-up screen time for all the non-dancers and if anything maybe huadi doesn’t get to stand out much?? but he looks really good here!! and so does wang di!! also side note this hair style on pinlin makes me think of super idol LOL

but anyway.... im hesitant to see what happened to pinlin in the next ep :c sigh

Headcanons about maddiman's wife:

* name: Joy Nocturne

* her personality is like your classic 'overbearing wife' or 'loud woman' except its not a bad thing and i hate how its always stereotyped as a bad thing. She's confident and outspoken and badass and these are all the things that made Madds fall in love with her. Its also the things that makes everyone else think she's 'such a nag' and start rumours that their marriage is on the rocks, because he 'must be so whipped', etc. And back when they met in highschool everone thought she was a 'typical american thug' who was 'being a bad influence to that poor honor student'. Basically she's used to people hating her personality and she was already secretly doubting whether her husband also found her annoying/bossy/unattractive cos of this. Like she's usually able to be confident in the face of hate from strangers but as she grew to love this man she felt her old insecurities coming back. They were both having trouble talking about their feelings and worrying that their spouse didnt love them...

* oh and BIGGEST HEADCANON: she very much loved him and there was no villain of this story, just a sad tale of two people falling apart due to miscommunication. I think its infinately sadder if they were total soulmates and never stopped loving each other even after this tragic falling out. I feel like Joy just had to make the decision that was right for her son when her husband was never around to be part of his life. And with the way maddiman acted she had every reason to feel like he'd stopped loving her...she didnt leave because she hated him but because she didnt know why he was so distant and thought he hated her...

* She never remarried. She did manage to live a full life and raise their son to be an upstanding human being, but she never forgot about madds and never found anyone she loved more than him.

* She was actually there when he died. The point where he passed out midway through writing a diary entry wasnt actually the exact moment he died, his coworkers found his comatose body and rushed him into surgery. He was on life support for a few days befofe he faded away, having never woken up. Joy rushed over on the fastest flight possible to get to see him before it was too late, but she only managed to arrive in time to see his yokai self emerging and vanishing into the ether. This phantasm haunted her for the rest of her life and she sorta inherited his fatal yokai obsession, in hopes that what she saw was real...

* after her son died at just 17, she became even more tied to the desperate hope of her husband's old fairytales. Ultimately though, she was never able to find him. She actually could have walked straight past him and not been able to see him. And madds wouldnt have recognised her, only wondered why something in his heart says that this particular trespasser in the haunted hospital should be guided to the exit without harm.

* they first met in high school, oddly enough due to maddiman's dad being a massive asshole. Nogut always pressured his son to be perfect and live out all his dreams for him, blablabla, gotta get to the best schools and never get a single bad grade. Joy and madds werent in the same class so they hadnt talked much, and she only recently transferred anyway. But one day Nogut was in school for a parent teacher conference and he was being his usual pissy entitled self, blah blah im too important to be here and my son is the cause of all my problems somehow. So he got uhh.. "Distracted". Aka being an absolute fuckin creeper to underage highschool girls! Thus the day Joy first became friends with maddiman was also the day she became mortal enemies with his dad by kicking him in the balls. And shortly afterwards she bumped into maddiman who was hyperventilating in the same closet she coincidentally picked while hiding from Groinally Harmed Anger Dad. He was having a panic attack from the general stress of his dad being here, and she helped support him through it which became a really valued memory of his, and why he sees her as his hero. Well, that and shortly after when she was like 'lol i just met this total creeper and kneed him in the nads' 'THATS MY DAD' 'geez sorry dude' 'NO THATS AMAZING'

* she also helped him pull off his ultimate escape from trash dad. They had a plan in place for a long time that as soon as he turned 18 they were getting on a motorbike and riding off to Anywhere But Here. But he didnt expect her to literally bring a birthday cake and throw it in his dad's face! And then that was the beginning of their relationship. Madds had totally been crushing on her for quite a while but never knew how to confess, until the sheer awesomeness of that moment made him accidentally squeak it out while they were riding for their lives from an angry old man.

* oh and also there were probably a lot of funny cute clueless moments where it kept going over joy's head that he had a crush on her? I was thinking of a cute idea for a valentines day flashback where maddiman was too shy to give her a box of chocolates and she comes along like "man i didnt get any chocolates im glad you managed to get some!" "U-uhh no i umm..wanted to give them to someone but i...didnt." "Oh that sucks dude! At least now you can eat them all to yourself to help forget that girl. Lemme sneak one, tho!" And thus he ended up sharing the box of chocolates with the perosn he wanted to, even if she had no idea. And it was a very good day!

* also i think considering the pattern of him bottling up his feelings and running from relationship problems, it seems likely that he ran from the altar on his wedding day. But it was also one of the only times ever that that happened and it wasnt super sad. As he does, he got all worked up into a mess of anxiety and convinced he knew the only answer- the stupidest and most reckless answer! So even though he loved this woman he was so scared that he'd be a bad husband that he tried to jump out the window at the last second without even once trying to actually talk to her about any of this. But this time she did manage to find him! All the friends and family were like 'ugh leave him, he doesnt love you', but she knew there had to be more to it so she ran out in the rain in her wedding dress and searched for miles until she found him sobbing in a public bathroom. They managed to talk it out and get to the bottom of his feelings and actually resolved something for once, and it all went okay. It kinda helped that seeing her turn up all bedraggled in the wreckage of the dress she loved so much, bleeding from her tight heels and fighting off several biker gangs along the way helped convince him that "hey maybe she thinks i'm worth fighting for, so i should try and believe her". So yeah then she swept him off his feet and they danced all night as everyone else in the church was all "ugh she looks awful" and "why would she take him back", but the moment was so magical that they just didnt care. And thats how the biggest failure of a wedding was also the happiest day of their lives! (..though sadly the same doubts and communication difficulties would come up again and not be resolved so easily...)

* i keep flip flopping on what career i want to give her, but at the moment im thinking possibly owns a lil bakery/coffee shop type place? Madds is one of those people who cant stand the bitterness of tea/coffee and prefers caffinated sodas instead, but he used to drink strong coffee every day back when he was human just because his wife made it. He loved all the rest of her cooking so itd be cruel to say no! Its a lil detail that i figured would be cute but also foreshadow how he'd meet his tragic end, as it shows he's capable of bottling up his feelings for years even when talking would be so much easier. Also probably a comedic note that he's coming up with nonsensical mad science techniques to make himself able to drink coffee! "Shall i genetically modify my tastebuds or create an undetectable translucent plastic armour plate for my tongue?"

* also maybe she could make cinnamon rolls shaped like madds's doofy cyclops head when they reunite in the future. Just because i want to eat that.

First up is Kim Seokjin {Jin, Jinnie, Mamma Jin, Princess Jin, Eomma/Eomma Jin, Pink Princess, Eat-Jin, Third Guy From The Left, Car Door Guy, Mr Worldwide Handsome, Seokjinnie}. Jin is the oldest brother, the oldest hyung in BTS and is basically their mother and let’s be honest our mother too.

Some facts;

Born in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea – it looks like dis;

He’s got a papa, mamma, and hyung

He majored in film at Konkuk University

BTS be placin’ him as #1 visuals…I mean…he is gorgeous

He has the longest legs & widest shoulders (60cm)

He does this “traffic dance” which is adorable and you should go check it out, you won’t regret it

He speaks a lil Chinese (Mandarin)

Lil Jinnie usually cleans up the dorms (because he’s literally bangtans mum)

Okay so next up is my ultimate bias (in case you couldn’t tell) Min Yoongi {Suga, AgustD, Yoongles, Min PD, Syub Syub, Motionless Min, Genius (self-proclaimed but I can reveal that this is a true fact m8), Min Monarch, Min Suga, D Boy, Sub-Energy}. Yoongi is the second oldest in BTS and probs the most savage human upon the planet, he often seems like the grandpa of the group but he can also be kinda childish and lively sometimes ^_^

Some facts;

He was born in Buk-gu, Daegu, South Korea – it looks like dis;

He has a pappa, mamma, and hyung

He attended/attends Global Cyber University

Yoongles is usually in charge of fixing the things Rap Monster breaks. He changes lightbulbs, fixes the toilet etc (handyman ayyee 😉 )

He is like the father or grandpa of BTS

Although Rap Monster revealed that he sometimes acts like a 5 yr old (same m8, same)

He usually scolds and nags the younger members when they make mistakes

Yoongi chose to become a rapper after listening to “Fly” by Epik High

His role models are; Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Lil Wayne, and Hit Boy

He has a driving license but doesn’t usually drive

Yoongi loves to play basketball and when he was a trainee he played basketball every Sunday

He is quite blunt and straightforward, a trait of many ppl from Daegu

When he was younger he wanted to be an architect

His hobbies include reading comics, basketball, playing games, and taking pictures

He writes/composes lyrics daily, and even writes lyrics when he’s in the waiting room, car, or even the toilet (dedicatioooon)

Summary; The lethargic turtle of BTS with a both a savage side and a cutesy side that spits literal fire that needs to be protected imo. He is a lil been who can act 5yrs old one second and then act like an 80yr old man the next.

Now we have the actual sun personified, Jung Hoseok {J-Hope, Hobi, Hopi, Hoseokie, Sunshine boy, Your Hope, Your Angel, Hope, J-Horse}. Hobi is basically literal sunshine and so sweet. He has the voice of an angel and can also rap like a gOD, he’s also the main dancer for BTS and he has major skillz m8.

Before he debuted, he hated doing aegyo but now he’s changed his mind (and we love his aegyo obvs)

And people think he’s always nice and innocent. But, inside his smiley face, there’s an evil living there. J-Hope winds me up all the time but never stop smiling even when he does that. But you can never punch someone who looks so happy like that. One day, I was sleeping and all of sudden he poked me and shook me saying,

And once he told me he would give me a massage and started squeezing the back of my neck, and that got tighter and tighter! He was smiling at then too! At the end, I was getting upset but he didn’t stop it. He was doing it even harder and said,

‘This will relax your muscles.’

When I was sitting down at the rehearsal room during the break, he head locked me. He hit me once and left the room so I looked at him with a serious face for a second. J-Hope, the timid, came to the room only after three seconds and gave me some mischievous hugs and said,

‘Jimin! Are you upset at me? Are you?? You are not! Aren’t you??’

Chuckling hard, he left room after 10 seconds. What should I do with him?”

Rap Monster; “There’s something he always says whenever we make a comeback or wrap up our promotion. He says that we got to make a comeback or successfully complete the promotion, thanks to the love shown by our fans.”

Suga; “I’m not good at expressing how I feel with words. But Jimin and J-Hope are good at expressing themselves. I envy them for that.”

Hobi’s ideal type is a girl who loves him, is good at cooking, and thinks a lot

What is the thing they feel the most guilty about?she tries not to think about all the things she’s done for Imperial Intelligence too much :’) that’s not to say she hasn’t done some bad things in her time as an “independent” but at least it’s for her own cause. at this point, she definitely has the most guilt about the attack on the Jedi Temple at Tython. all those padawans just trying to defend the temple she had to shoot down…that’s the kinda thing that will haunt her for life. it’s all made worse by the fact that the entire thing, the attack itself, was all just a setup that turned into something MORE HORRIBLE because of course it did :’)

10. What is their greatest mental weakness?HMMMMMM this is hard bc a lot of her mental Problems are for very good reason :’) i guess the biggest are distrust (obviously) and even some paranoia. she’s not outward about any of it–that would be dangerous, you see–but it eats away at her inside. she’s very tough at this point, but no one can withstand that forever. and every single betrayal she goes through just makes it exponentially worse. she’s self-destructive in that way, but it’s not even her fault, really. that’s what makes it so sad :’D

Which of the 7 Deadly Sins best describes them?i ended up overthinking this question SO MUCH because i was having such a hard time figuring out which one of them stood out more than the others, but i think i’m gonna go with Envy…she’s probably not even consciously aware of it, but it’s part of the root of her feelings about the Sith–she could have become one, she could have trained but she was afraid, and now she’s been stripped of her identity and her life has been made so much harder and if she’d just become a Sith like her sister, she wouldn’t have gone through all the mental trauma Intelligence put her through… at the cost of her own morality, of course :’) not to mention all the other horrors of trying to survive as a Sith too. but at least she’d be able to retain her autonomy. she’s definitely envious of anyone and everyone who has never had their autonomy ripped away from her like she did. she’s envious of everyone who can lead a ‘normal’ life, even one still filled with warfare and strife. tHIS GOT DARK FAST LOL

If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be?oh wow, ok, this is gonna get deep :’D there’s a very small part of her, in the back of her mind, that surfaces every now and then and wishes that she’d never gotten wrapped up in all this; she wishes she could have had normal padawan training, wishes she’d had a Master who never fell ill with some freakish Sith mind-plague, wishes she didn’t have to be The One to learn that shielding ritual to save everyone she could. she wanted a normal, quiet, peaceful Jedi life. she didn’t even really want to become a fighter at all, she’d have been perfectly happy to be a scholar instead. YOU’D THINK THAT WOULD BE THE PART SHE’D WANT TO CHANGE, RIGHT?but no. she would want to change the fact that she has these quiet, nagging feelings at all. most of the time, she’s able to will them away. her mental fortitude is impressive. but they keep coming back. because Her Destiny™ was to become what she is now, this ‘Warden of the Jedi’, and even if it’s not what she wanted from her future, who is she to argue with destiny? she’d be foolish for even trying! (it’s…not very healthy, turns out :’))

Is there anyone that they would willingly kill?no. even the one who should have been her greatest enemy, the man who unleashed that horrible mind-control plague on her Master and colleagues and other great Jedi…. she could have killed him but she shielded him as well. she chose to save him. of course, there are realities of war, and she’s had to take lives in order to save more lives, in self-defense, in protecting those under her care. but she’ll always choose the non-violent route whenever possible, no matter the personal cost to her.

List 3 fears; one “surface level” fear, one “repressed” fear, and one “deep dark” fear.surface level, probably pretty obvious…she fears losing someone she cares about, or something horrible happening to them and being unable to help or save them (or, worst of all, something horrible happening to them because of her… which is a very exploitable ‘weakness’ for a Jedi to have lmao)repressed fear: that what if she can’t do it, what if Scourge’s vision was a lie, or if he was wrong, or if she just simply failed at this task she was supposedly ‘destined’ to do. outwardly she’s confident in her destiny and has faith in it, and for the most part believes in it. that’s why this is the repressed one :’Dher deep dark fear: the dark side. she knows full well she’s on a precarious path right now. she finds herself questioning–and disagreeing with–Jedi teachings and philosophies more and more every day. so far, she’s got a pretty good handle on her morality. but the Force is so mysterious and (as much as she’d never admit it) actually pretty scary. as a Jedi she’s supposed to have an understanding of it. but she knows full well that no mortal being could ever fully understand something like it. she does her absolute best to keep the balance, but the unfortunate reality of balance is that it doesn’t take much to tip the scales.

17. What sound always gives them a headache?eventually, blaster fire. she’s just around so much of it. it echoes in her mind, even when she’s not in the middle of battle (which is becoming rarer and rarer these days.) it’s so jolting and harsh, not at all like the hum of a lightsaber.

Are they comfortable with where they are in life?no :’) she acts confident, she tries to be, she wants to be, and most of the time she is. but deep inside, she’s also scared. some Sith shows up, says he saw her face in a vision three hundred years ago, and that she’s going to be the one to take out the Emperor basically all by herself? that’s practically unthinkably crazy. that’s suicide. and yet? she’s gonna try anyway. she’s gonna waltz straight for Certain Death because Destiny Said So. and she’s doing it willingly. she’s fully aware of this.

lastly, Alunera!who knows how her character is gonna go :’D i kinda figure things out as i go along. so these might change as we get further in their stories/see how they develop together c: but as things stand now, here we goooo :D

Do they have any vices?she’s uhhhhh more trigger happy than Razhie, that’s for sure. does that count as a vice? :’) she’s more prone to violence, even when it’s unnecessary. she likes to operate through physical threats, and will follow through if she doesn’t get what she wants. she’s just kinda…volatile? and quick to pull out her gun.

21. What is something that causes them great anxiety?getting trapped in a situation that has no visible way out (i.e, she’s been disarmed and surrounded and in unfamiliar territory)this applies to less dire situations, too. she likes to have a handle on things, likes to have control, likes to have a plan, and if all that gets disrupted she’s….not a happy camper. she doesn’t handle improvisation with quite the grace that Razhie does :’D (it’s SO HARD not to compare the two of them but it also makes explaining things easier if i do lmao)i also get the feeling that being with a bounty hunter is gonna test this for her quite a bit >w> mwehehehe

28. Is there a certain type of person that disgusts them?the kind of person who’d snivel on the floor and sell out their entire family to save their own life. being an agent of the Empire, she runs into this kind of person a lot :’) she just finds it incredibly pathetic, especially when they’d be all high and mighty and looking down their nose at her just minutes beforehand…until she kicks their ass, of course.

Uuh, this got a little long but I couldn’t decide on an excerpt. Also! Not tagging anyone bc it’s been so long I don’t know anyone on here anymore lol. Feel free to tag me in this if you want to do it tho!

"Ah, si sta parlando inglese. Who summoned me?" asks the shadow, this time in heavily accented English. He sounds lackadaisical like he's been through this sort of exchange one too many times.

"Summoned you?" Joseph parrots, cocking his head to the side. "Looks like we got us another crazy here, eh Smokey."

Smokey slowly reaches into the back pocket of his jeans. Joseph knows what he's going for. "Hey man, I asked you somethin'! Who are you and what're you doin' here?"

"And I asked you a question," the man says, sounding quite sane for a mad man. "Who called me out?"

"We have no idea what you're talking about," Smokey says as he looks to Joseph. Joseph signals for him to remain calm and not pull out the switchblade he knows Smokey carries but is terrified of using. "No one called you, man."

The stranger sighs. "Just my luck... un paio di idioti."

Joseph grins as he cracks his knuckles. "Not sure what language you're speakin' but I'm pretty sure you just called us a couple of idiots. Why don't ya come out of the shadows there mate and show us your ugly mug."

Smokey stays where he is, crouched protectively over his belongings as Joseph takes a few more steps into the alley. The silhouette moves too, moving towards Joseph in a graceful stride that makes him appear like he's floating. When he finally steps into a streak of sunlight, Joseph gets a better look at the man. He's wearing a diamond checkered top hat, fashioned lopsidedly on his head and its pattern matches his waistcoat. The jacket he wears looks like it's made of crushed velvet, rich burgundy in colour, like a fine merlot. His pants appear to be normal black slacks, slightly oversized and stuffed into black knee-high boots. His hands are sheathed in fingerless leather gloves with brass bulbs on the knuckles.

He looks like a ridiculous magician, Joseph scoffs inwardly. Like a mad hatter.

"Right well. This bloke is definitely not right in the head, eh Smokey. Let's split."

Smokey rushes to gather his things, the items clanking against each other as he wraps them back up in his jacket.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" the man asks, tilting his head to the side that mimics the slide of his crooked grin. As he does this, the illumination clears the brim of his hat and reveals the upper part of the man's face. Light catches his eye and it gleams an unnaturally raw emerald. Below his eye is some sort of purplish smudge, triangular in shape. It's too bright to be a bruise or a tattoo.

Joseph makes a fist and grinds it into the palm of his hand. "You sure you wanna keep bein' a prick?"

"C'mon, JoJo," Smokey urges, cradling the bundle of junk in his arms.

"Be my guest," the stranger lilts, sweeping his hand in the air as if he's allowing them safe passage.

Joseph laughs nervously and an unsettling feeling begins to bubble in his gut. "You're off, mate. Let's get out of here, Smokey." He takes a few steps back, never taking his eyes off the man and waits for Smokey to get a good distance behind him. The man doesn't move and watches Joseph retreat without expression. Joseph doesn't think he even blinks. Once his back clears the mouth of the alley and there's a good forty-somewhat feet in between the weirdo and them, Joseph finally turns to Smokey and whispers, "Run."

Smokey doesn't need to be told twice, he takes off like someone's just lit a fire under his ass and Joseph isn't too far behind. The heavy knot in his stomach keeps nagging him to look over his shoulder but that same knot is preventing him from doing so. Anxious adrenaline courses through his veins and his blood rushes between his ears.

"I left the crystal ball!" Smokey yells apologetically but he too doesn't look over his shoulder to see if Joseph is following him.

"Forget the bloody thing!" Joseph shouts back, his chest pulling tight as his lungs struggle to retain a steady stream of oxygen. "That guy probably followed us from the market lookin' to get that junk back for that old bat — or he was lookin' to make a quid himself!"

"I thought you said this stuff was worthless!"

"Never said that mad hatter thought the same thing now, did I?"

Smokey looks back over his shoulder again and grins wildly. "He did look like a mad hatter, didn't he?"

"As mad as they come," Joseph agrees, leaping over tin garbage pail rolled out in the middle of the sidewalk. They're nearing a street corner and this being New York, Joseph knows there's gotta be a vendor on it. He could really use a Coke right now. "Hey — didn't he kinda remind you of a ringmaster? Y'know, like the bloke that runs the circus?"

Smokey laughs. "Yeah, he did! Maybe that woman in the market was a carnie or something. Maybe there's like, a band of them..."

The pounding of his heart drowns Smokey out as Joseph dares a glance over his shoulder. The streets are crowded as usual but there is no oddly dressed man in a top hat in pursuit. For this, Joseph breathes a sigh of relief and he's about to turn around to share this news with his friend when he knocks into something head-on. There's a hollow clattering on concrete and when Joseph catches up with what just happened, he sees that he's run into Smokey and knocked him onto the sidewalk.

"S-Smokey!" Joseph stutters as he scurries to pick up his friend from the ground. Then he stops short when he sees the reason for Smokey's abrupt stop.

The stranger is somehow in front of them, standing with his arms crossed and a fist curled under his chin. His eyes are closed, his expression reads annoyance as he sighs heavily.

"What in the hell," Joseph starts as grabs Smokey's arm to pull him up. His friend's eyes are just about bugging wide out of his head, his mouth agape in shock. Smokey looks like he's just seen a ghost. "Where the hell did you just come from — how the bloody hell did you do that?!"

"We have a problem here," the man states, opening his eyes finally. "If —"

"Now look here you —"

"If both of you can see me," the man continues, "then that means both of you touched the crystal ball at the same time."

Joseph scrunches his nose in disdain. "What are you on about?"

The stranger sighs again, this time more exasperated. "The crystal ball? You gentlemen rubbed it?"

"Y-yeah, we rubbed it," Smokey stutters, finally breaking his awed silence. "So?"

"Well here I am, you've summoned me, granter of wishes. Unfortunately, that is a problem because only there can only be one wisher at a time."

A sardonic laugh erupts from Joseph. "Oh my god. Are you saying you're some kind of genie? Like Arabian Nights, the magic lamp and all that crock?"

The man clucks his tongue. "Not genie, jinni. And it was a crystal ball, not a lamp. Are you blind as well as stupid?"

"Who're you callin' stupid?" asks Joseph, pushing up his shirt sleeves. "You expect us to believe you're a genie — jinni whatever, same difference — and we're the stupid ones?"

"I rubbed it," Smokey says quietly. "Remember, JoJo? With the scarf."

"Yeah, I remember but this bloke isn't a genie, Smokey. He's some mad man that followed us and saw you rub the stupid ball with the scarf. He's just tryin' to have a go at us so that we'll give him the stuff you looted."

"Try me," the man challenges.

Joseph nudges his friend's shoulder. "Just give him the junk, Smokey. Supper's in an hour, let's get on with it."

"Wait, JoJo," Smokey says, tugging on Joseph's sleeve. “Let's see if this guy's really telling the truth."

Joseph can feel the heat of eyes all around him and when he chances a look, the passersby on the sidewalk all seem to be giving Smokey and him a look that says they ought to be locked up in the local loony bin. Perhaps they aren't looking at them but rather at the man dressed like a ringleader but when Joseph follows their judging stares, none lead back to the strange man claiming to be a genie. "Right well... if you're going to have at it then let's get out of the middle of the street, yeah? People are lookin' at us like we're the ones who are mad."

Smokey nods and retreats a few feet to the nearest alleyway with Joseph and the man following.

"You got a name, genie man?" asks Joseph.

"Caesar," he answers without skipping a beat. "Caesar Zeppeli."

"Sounds like quite the unimaginative stage name," Joseph mutters scornfully.

"I wouldn't expect a brute like you to understand what's in a name," Caesar replies.

"I should make you eat one of these bloody pigeons for tryin' to take advantage of my friend," snaps Joseph.

"Please. I bet you couldn't even fight off a woman."

"Why the hell would I wanna fight a woman, you twit?!"

"Guys!" Smokey interrupts, stopping once he's hidden in the dark of the alley. "This will take five minutes, JoJo. Once this guy proves he's a fake, we can leave, okay? I just wanna see what he's got."

Joseph makes a face, "Yeah, he's a fake alright. Some wannabe street magician that should be workin' in Vegas by the name of The Great Zeppeli —"

"Actually, my grandfather was a magician of sorts in his time and he went by the name of Zeppeli the Eccentric," Caesar says pointedly, pulling on the brim of his top hat. "This used to be his."

"Thanks for that useless piece of information."

"JoJo, please."

Joseph sighs defeat and slumps against the dry brick of an old building. He uses one foot pressed into the wall to prop himself up. "Well — we're waiting," he says to Caesar expectedly.

"Before we begin, there are a few rules we must go over," Caesar announces.

"Of course there are," Joseph mumbles, rolling his eyes. Both Smokey and Caesar give him a look and Joseph says nothing more on the subject.

Caesar clears his throat. "There are rules to wishes that the jinn and wisher must abide by. The first one being I cannot grant a wish that interferes with free will."

"What does that mean?" asks Smokey, raising a brow.

"I cannot make someone fall in love with you or hurt themselves in any matter. Anything that a subject would not do otherwise with their own free will. Understand?"

What a crock of shit, Joseph thinks.

"Yes," Smokey croaks.

"Secondly, I cannot make something from nothing. The third rule is that no wish may change the natural order of life and death and bring one who is dead back to life, nor can I cause one's death."

"Yeah, I got it," Smokey interjects with an audible gulp. “Free will.”

Halloooo 2018! Time really flies fast when you’re wasting your life hahaha. 2017 was fun, definitely better than 2015 and 2016 hahaha. Eto ata yung year na pinakamaraming naging ganap in lifeu. First yung mga nacheck ko muna sa bucketlist ko hahahaha.

🏃🏻‍♀️ RUN A MARATHON

Night run at UPANG with Rose, Pine, Charm and Ali hoho. We didn’t actually run tho, more like night walk yan hahaha. I’m not sure kung may post ako bout that here, basta after that we drank wine and sleepover kila rose yay, late bday celeb ko din ata yun hahaha.

💧WATERFALLS

Antong Yays!!! I should’ve made a solo entry about this pero wala di ko nagawa, it was so fun!!! Kasi hapon na kami pumunta so kami lang tao and umaambon pa kasi may bagyo ata that time. What a perfect time to have an adventure diba hahaha. Hindi ako nahirapan sa hike kasi similar to Quezon ung place haha pero si Alison, nyeaam hahaha nasira paperbag nya, naputol tsinelas nya, and naputikan af sya hahaha. Medyo creepy lang kasi may engkanto-ish feels sya nun kasi maraming kweba tapos malalim hhahaha. Merong pagtatalounan na mataas kaya lang walang G tumalon kaya di na din ako tumalon hahaha pero gusto kooo. Tapos ginabi na kami pauwi and we got lost, lowbat ang mga phones with kidlat kidlat pa. There i thought, ‘i like thisss’ nakakatakot pero i like like like hahaha. Imagine gabi in the middle of nowhere, i feel like we were in a horror movie hahaha, i loved the thrill talaga, tapos diretso lang kami sa lakad then pagtingala namin andun yung bridge na dinaanan namin nung papunta hahaha. May 1hr din ata kami nagwait ng bus padagupan then we bought soju, na si roselyn lang din ang uminom. Sleepover at rose’s again!!

🎥 BE IN A THRILLER FILM/MOVIE

Hikbi, directed by kuya desmond. Professional videographer sya kaya i was soo feeeling it hahahaha. Tapos kasama ko pa si anthony(HUHUHUHU), he was the killer, idk kung pano ko nacontain ung kilig and hiya ko everytime we had a likey scene like ung kaming dalawa sa bonfire while im holding a gitara, when he hugged me from behind while holding a knife(eeeeeek) nakamadaming takes unHAHHAHA. Tapos when he dragged me by the hair, he kept asking me kung nasasaktan nya ba ako. OO nasasaktan mo ako ngayon! HAHAHHA char only. Basta when kuya des’ says “action!” feeling ko artista na ako and hindi na ako si helena hahaha ganun ba feeling, try ko kaya mag artista tae joke ang papangit ng angles ko HAHAHAH. Pero nagawa yun! I’m amazed hahahha

📹 WATCH CINEMA ALONE

Guardians of the Galaxy!! Sad ako that time eh, i dont remember why, i was fighting na hindi mahulog ung luha ko kahit funny yung nangyayari hahahaha. Tbh i didn’t understand what happened sa movie, nung tapos na ung movie i texted alison and sumunod sya, we watched it again and un naintindihan ko na hahahaha. Naisip ko baka di counted yan kasi sumunod si Alison hahaha. Pinanood ko din ung Kita Kita alone because again, sad c acoe hahaha same shit naiiyak ako not because of the movie but because of my lifeu hahaha.

🍺 DRINK A BEER

Feeling ko dinaya ko to kasi sip lang ginawa ko. I therefore conclude na ayoko ng beer, or any hard drinks na akshelly. I think im past the stage na walwal is life because i already experienced that during my teenage years haha, walwal is not life, walwal is bad for your health, tapos pangit pa sa feeling the day after hahaha.

So far, yan lang yung mga nasa bucketlist ko na nacheck ko last year(parang ang tagal ah hahaha) pero i swear marami pang magagandang nangyari! Hahaha like when i went to Quezon for holy week, sobrang ganda ng weather that time i could die there, the feeling of contentment ganern, i was sipping my coffee in the terrace while looking at the tall niyog trees, and it was cold pa. hay i love. tapos everytime magigising ako ng madaling araw, i could dieee.

Marami talagang magagandang nangyari nung 2017, thinking about it now parang i hurt because 2017 was so good to me, i didn’t wanna leave there yet. Kung icocompile lahat ng mga posts ko dito this, majority would point to Anthony because he is my highlight. Tao kasi ako afterall and it’s in human nature na feel like love makes the world go round (not that it was love ha). I mean no matter how i believe na liking an opposite sex the special way is always the last in my favorite things, at the end it shows na he’s made his way to the top, see he’s my highlight nga. Afterall the wonderful places i’ve been too, all the harthart moments with my constants, and the feeling of contentment in my home, sya pa rin nagtop. The normal days spent with him inside and outside the school, the feeling of excitement everytime i see him like parang tagal ko sya hindi nakita, my tugudug heart evrytime he pops in my messenger, basta those little happenings crept into my brain and i feel like he’s so special, i hate being human. Siguro, maybe kaya sya nagtop because i knew that he’s not gonna stay in my life for a long time. The wonderful places i’ve been to, my constants, my home in Quezon will always be there, I can always go to them pero sya he has his own path to take and he doesn’t need me there. Aaaaah the tragedy of getting attached to someone who isn’t meant to stay. It makes me teary-eyed hays. I used to laugh at couples na 1month palang parang di na nila kaya mabuhay pag naghiwalay sila, now I kinda understand it (not like hindi ko kayang mabuhay ng wala sya lol). I mean kahit maiksing time lang, someone can be so special to you, it depends sa emotions and things na naiinput nila in your brain to cherish ganern. I think si Anthony nag input sya ng 8GB sa utak ko pero he put it with glitters and more kaya i’m left with “it-could-be-nice-kung” ganern.

2017 made me happy, too happy that i dont wanna let go of it pero life goes on, nung New Year, i didn’t feel the hype talaga tbh, it was like nagtotorotot lang ako para di nila mafeel na wala akong gana magnew year hahaha. Thank you so much 2017, parang blurred na sakin yung hurt ko nung 2016 because of you tho it still hurts, pero you balanced it. Marami ding hindi magandang nangyari sakin pero this time nangingibabaw yung mga mamagandang nangyari. I don’t wanna say goodbye pero I have to. Thank you sa life lessons, to the very nice people i met, they’re going to be a part of me for a long long time, to the new places i’ve explored, and the emotions i felt. You were so good to me that it hurts!

It feels foreign to type 201 with an 8 hahaha. Welcome uy. Tumatanda na ako, im one year closer to my death haha tbh that’s what i’ve been thinking since new years eve hahaha. feeling ko i’m getting numb like ‘ah okay’ ganern, it’s hard to feel these days at the same time feeling ko mas nagiging emotional ako, please dont make me cry too much haha im such a mess diba. Exactly last year i asked 2017 kung it has new failures, disappointments and heartbreaks for me. Failures and disappointments come together and i’ve had lots of them too. Yung heartache, i cant say na i have it right now pero parang ganun. I’m at this stage na tinatanggap ko na he’s not for me but knowing myself, few days later magbaback to one ako hahaha. I hope you make evrything good for me, atleast some things. i know that most of the things in my life are permanently broken, including me haha. I doubt na you can fix it but pls be light sa’kin. I’m trying to live here hahaha. Di ako ready sa mga mangyayari but i want to grow and move, the more i move the more na napapalapit ako sa death. Idk if it’s right but i think it’s my will to live lately, that whatever’s gonna happen it will only lead to one thing: my finish line hahaha. I could die this year, if i do then sayonara earth! 12 months, a lot can happen there, i’m curious. Make me feel ANYTHING, 2018.
