So I was watching the new owl house episode and one line that really stuck with me was when Amity said to her mother “I am never speaking to you again!” And that kinda got me thinking about Amity’s new hairstyle and new hair colour. Which then made me think that maybe Amity’s hair is symbolic in one way or another, and is also a type of foreshadowing. So I did a little equation, and this is what I discovered:

Coincidence? I think not.

Update: I’m seeing some people say that Amity’s hair colour could also be foreshadowing Darius and Alador getting together as well, because Alador mentions to Amity that her hair is “abomination coloured” and it just so happens that Darius has abomination goo hair. I for one, LOVE this idea and I’m hoping we’re correct about Amity’s hair foreshadowing Darius and Alador getting together.

odalia blight’s strange transatlantic accent makes human aus really fucking funny to me because in my mind, she’s not british. she grew up in the american suburbs in the 80s and just. decided to develop a transatlantic accent. and amity’s just embarrassed that her estranged mother has a whole made up accent in the 21st century.

More than anything, I saw a Blight dynamic

During the Hazbin Hotel 5th episode, the flashback during "More than anything." I seen a bit of Alador and Amity from The Owl House.

During the flashback, Little Charlie peeked through an open door and see her dad from behind, just sittin a depressive slump over a workbench, clearly uninspired. He took notice of his young daughter and perked up a little and gestured for her to come closer and sat her on her on his lap. Sharing his dreams/work. Charlie was enthralled. Lucifer truly lit up here. Then Lilith took Charlie away, leaving Lucifer alone at his workbench, already returning to his despondent way.

It just seem like a dynamic of the Blights. Amity peeking in as her father's workshop, to find him working uninspired for the company. Lit up when he sees her, and shows her his dreams of the passion abomination projects he would like to do instead of his weapon manufacturing. Only to have Odalia take little Amity away and Alador left to continue his work and back to his dejected life.
