i just rewatced heaven cant wait and im giggling and kicking my feet because they make a whole big show about telling us that cas is living in the connivence store SO THEN AT THE END OF THE EPISODE WHY IS DEAN DROPPING HIM BACK OF AT THE STORE IN THE MORNING?????

the case shouldve ended hours ago by that point so what were they doing for those hours between after the case ended and the start of castiels shift. DID DEAN TAKE HIM BACK TO HIS MOTEL ROOM THE NIGHT BEFORE??? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

Inspired by some posts I've seen on my dash recently that had me THINKING... So imagine with me for a moment

Callahan is actually Phillip Callahan Harrington. Just. Picture it for a second...

He's born 8 1/2 months after [what's his name] Harrington marries his highschool sweetheart right out of highschool in a beautiful but kind of rushed ceremony. They immediately jet off on some months long honeymoon trip across Europe then stop in New York to visit the extended Harrington clan and come back to Hawkins with a bouncing baby boy. It is a well known secret that obviously [have they named her yet] Harrington nee [Idk, Callahan? To explain Phil's middle name] was pregnant when they got married and they tried to hide it but that's the sort of thing you just can't hide in a small town.

Life goes on and Adultering Asshole Harrington has a near miss with a young secretary so Mrs. Socialite Save Face Harrington decides they should have another baby. Especially since their first son was not living up to Harrington expectations. So they have Steve. Phil isn't sure about the baby they bring home just after Christmas (Or Halloween? Not sure which I like better tbh) but Mom says babies make families happy so maybe mom and dad will argue less.

They don't. Phil tries to protect his baby brother best he can but there's only so much he can do when the kid refuses to see what pieces of shit their parents are. As soon as he turns 18 he does what he needs to join the police force because his father seemed to hate that he could never buy the Hawkins police department and Phillip wants that. He wants to be able to tell his father no and know that the man just has to accept it.

He stays in touch with Steve who asks why his name tag by his badge says Callahan (his middle name) and he tells his baby brother that he wants as little to do with their folks as possible. Life goes on and Jim Hopper comes back to town in '79 just as his folks basically leave for good. He's 23 and Steve is just turned 13 and he does what he can to help the kid, stays over most weekdays only heading to his small apartment when Steve has groups of friends over or the two brothers just need some space from each other. By the time Steve is a Junior (about 16/17) Phil is only staying over when Steve asks or if the chief and Powell are on his case about the parties his kid brother, "King Steve" as they've heard some of the youth calling him, keeps throwing and the only way he knows to make sure Steve doesn't host a rager is if the kid knows he's in the house.

Then Will Byers goes missing shortly followed by the Holland girl. Nancy Wheeler confesses the two girls were at a small 'party' at the Harrington place and Phil isn't able to intercept Flo before she calls his folks, he calls Steve to warn him their parents might be making a visit once the secretary forwards Flo's message about Steve's peripheral involvement in the case

was the frank bit scripted? at all? i cannot tell. that's something that sneeg could've come up with on the fly, but there's also this image:

which means they had to have had a set piece for him.

i don't think it was just a bit, at least, not completely. how many of those bits are put in there intentionally?

like the "i mean slime i mean slime i mean slime i mean slime" thing. that's obviously put in there for a reason.

was the. the drag bit was on purpose right? tell me that was in rehearsal. please tell me they had to rehearse doing the runway walks in drag (i know only ethan was in drag but still)

also with ep 1. showfall had both of them pre-record the cutaways, and both of them know it. when charlie reacts to the "uh oh. certain amount of time is almost up" it means he knows. does he know in that episode that he's on a show? does he think it's just some kind of cool cooking show? it would explain why there's applause on his entrance, and why he's completely unfazed by it (if he can hear it at all)

how thin is the veil? how much can slime see past it?

we know it's strong enough to keep him under control, as seen with his stream, but we also know it's thin enough around him to break (vivisection and the "i means slime i mean slime" cutaway). only sneeg has had the veil explicitly break around him (other than ranboo but that one's obvious) and that was only once; charlie has had the fourth wall break multiple times. why? why him?

does any of this make sense? i don't know.

remember when Simon was trying to tell Marcus that he wanted to end things ? and Marcus started talking about Simon's father and his relationship with Simon's mother and Simon looked uncomfortable at that and Marcus held his shoulders and looked him in the eye and was like “i know you don't want to let go of such a beautiful thing” or whatever, referring to their "relationship." “you are not your father. we'll take things slow okay ?” and then he kissed Simon

did anyone else find that scene a bit hard to watch ? i mean, not just bc Marcus & Simon but bc it was obvious Simon wanted to end things and couldn't find the exact words and instead of Marcus accepting that he was just like i know you don't wanna let go of this beautiful thing between us you're smarter than that we're gonna go slow no rush and then kissed him

obviously at the start of the conversation Simon wanted to end things and i bet Marcus noticed and said all that shit and kissed Simon and i know he kissed back but idk man that was. an extremely uncomfortable scene for me to watch

i am of the belief that ninten’s real name is absolutely kenneth, and he hates it (a dive into what i think the kid is like)

ninten’s name is kenneth, and he hates it. he hates the way the “th” is pronounced at the end, like a cushion to fall on. he hates how long it takes to say, and hates the nicknames that come out of there.

“hiya ken!” like some accessory to his sisters’ dolls. “hey kenny,” as if you had the right to add cute spin on his name. “over here, ken,” what, is “kenneth” too long for you?

the truth is, “kenneth” is complex. “kenneth” is a name of gaelic origin, which makes no sense because his father’s japanese and his mother, while as white as they come in podunk, does not have that in her ancestry. in fact, her grandmother is an outlier in her lineage. but of course, she never seemed to matter in the grand scheme of things (until one day, she did).

born of fire and handsome—was that all his mother could think of when she pressed his screeching face against her chest? in that searing moment, was he so red and hot that she thought he was ablaze? did he actually ever look handsome? his father wouldn’t know, he was too busy trying to get the week off so he could help his mother handle him (he didn’t.)

to me, ninten is just a reluctant boy. a boy, just like any other you see in the wild. hurling rocks at cars, lighting ants on fire, kindly bullying his sisters because the world taught him he was above anything. he was going to strive for excellence, lead others into promised lands, and provide for everyone who comfortably stood in his shadow. his claim to fame would boast his name, in which any “normal” boy would gladly take the spotlight. but ninten is by no means a normal boy.

biologically, he thinks he’s a mess. chemical imbalances in his brain that make him less than ideal in the classroom, airways too constricted for modern medicine’s comfort; strange abilities that lead to foolish accusations, revelations of innermost secrets, and fourth-dimensional hijjnks, but talents that do not back up what he can do. in theory, ninten is not the boy that should take up that role because he’s not fit for it. he, like his relatives before him, are outliers not meant for the roles unjustly thrust upon the tender shoulders of a 12 year old boy. “kenneth” was supposed to take these roles. but “ninten” doesn’t want to.

or maybe kenneth is just a stupid name and ninten wants to be known as the best gamer in podunk.

Mac and Charlie being each other's first kiss, 14 with clammy hands, and Charlie squeezing his eyes shut, holding his breath. Mac chickens out when he gets close, pulling away with a sigh and rubbing his eyebrow. “This feels gay," he mutters.

Charlie, dressed in the long skirt of his school uniform, rubs his clammy hands on his blazer. No matter how girlish Bonnie made him dress, Mac always knew he was a boy. "Pretend it isn't."

I can't stop thinking about this scene and I have stuff to say about it, small rant ahead.

Like, you can't tell me he didn't scare Zug on purpose, the little "psst" after moving forward, him saying “I only wanted to see if it is better back there.” with that cheeky smile, fucker knows exactly what he's doing.

I find it unlikely that he'd pull this stunt with any of the other Z-Stacks, and now I'm upset that they weren't able to dive deeper into his character (you can say that about all the characters though) and his dynamic with Zug.

Thinking about it, Pirate is the only episode where they both play a significant role, and it's a little upsetting that we can't see any more of their shenanigans. Sigh. If only. If only...

Venting rant. Don't mind me.

Today is shitty. Everywhere I've applied and interviewed at this past month decided to send me 'thanks but no thanks' emails at the same time right as I walked into my current job I hate. Customers were shitty, management was absent and my estranged mother kept trying to catch my eye as she walked around the store like she thought I'd say hi at some point. I couldn't clock out until 40 minutes after my scheduled time cause I needed a manager to verify my till before I could fucking leave. And I haven't seen my person in 2 weeks and I miss him.

OMFG GUYS!!! so I was casually scrolling yt and the thumbnail of a video starts playing talking abt how "kermit upstaged Steve Whitmire's other characters" and in this interview he's talking abt how gonzo and rizzo were supposed to MOVE IN TOGETHER and have a apartment. And Steve LEGIT says "they were supposed to be the odd couple" WHAT?!?!? Now, some of you may say, "but Gonzo is in a happy relationship with Camilla!" And to that I say, isn't it a thing that EVERY hen likes Gonzo,and going back to the interview Steve also said, "and the joke would have been that he's bringing home all these chickens..." chickens as in

multiple. To get things straight, I'm not 100% on Gonzos relationship with Camilla (and or other chickens) but from what im assuming with the bit that every female chicken is attracted to gonzo, that she[Camilla] is not strict with how faithful Gonzo is. FURTHER MORE, even if my assumption is wrong with that "bit", it is still entirely possible that Camilla,Gonzo, and Rizzo could be in a polyamerous relationship. Alternatively, Gonzo and Rizzo could've been more of a secret, but most likely a strictly platonic type couple. With the suggested possible relationship and with an official relationship with Gonzo and Camilla, overall two things can be implied. 1. Gonzo is/was in a relationship (platonic or non-platonic) with Rizzo while still in a steady relationship with Camilla, or 2. They were simply close friends that (may have) moved in together, with Gonzo being in a relationship with Camilla, alone.

Did I write a whole fricking paragraph off of one thing Steve Whitmire said? Yeah. Was it fun to write? Yeah B).
