How PaRappa x Sunny's 3 Offsprings Look

I think now is finally a good time to post how I vision my 3 SunRappa fankids to look like.

First off, PaRappa Keith Rappa Jr (nickname: Junior), PaRappa Sr and Sunny's eldest and only son. He looks like his father, so you can say, a dog appearance except his head is in the same round shape as his mother's, his fur color is a pale yellow, and not to mention, the end of his black ears are pointy. His eyes are also complete heterochromia, as his right eye is blue (or dark purple) like his mom's and left eye is brown like his dad's.

Secondly, Solange Anna Rappa (nickname: Soli), PaRappa and Sunny's middle child and 1st daughter. She kind of resembles her mother especially with the exact round head-shape only with some different features. Her smooth skin is light beige like her father's fur. She has yellow blonde hair, which she gets from her paternal grandmother (Mama Rappa or Mama PaRappa) like how auntie Pinto is a blondie too. She has chocolate brown eyes. And her ears are of a dog except they are pink flower petals (which they also feel like when touching them) matching her mom's beautiful petals.

Finally, Permelia Melody Rappa (nickname: Lia), PaRappa and Sunny's youngest and 2nd daughter. She's like a mixture between her parents in looks. Due to being born as a hybrid, she has much shorter fur than her father's. Her really short fur is yellow like her mother's smooth skin. Has the exact head shape as her daddy's. She's got a cute dark dog nose on her. She has blue eyes. Green hair like not only General Potter, her maternal grandfather, also her mom (I HC that when growing long beautiful and voluminous hair, Sunny has emerald green as her hair color). She's got black dog ears. And a sweet touch is that there are 4 pink petals (although, they're pointy at the ends) on the back of her head shaping like an X.

What do Imaginary type characters have in common

I like posts where people try to find some significant similarities that unite characters belonging to a Path in HSR or an Element in Genshin or stuff like that. It's a fun way to engage with these characters' lore.

Although it's important to remember that these similarities rarely fit all of the characters belonging to a certain group equally well and are rarely exclusive to them.

So don't take this too seriously, it's just a little exercise in pattern seeking.

It seems to me that most of the Imaginary type characters in HSR have Past Lives (something very different from what they are doing now):

Welt: I think he's a character from a different game. I don't know a lot about that, but his character stories mention that he left his home world through some portal and is basically stranded here.

Trailblazer: I'm sure we'll end up mastering all elements, but Imaginary fits our character very well. We clearly had a very different life pre-stellaron, we just don't remember it currently.

March: same thing. Something very important led to her being found incased in a piece of ice, but she doesn't remember it.

IL:  was practically a different person before.

Yukong: tries to distance herself from her military past so much that she doesn't even allow her daughter to fly.

Aventurine: his peaceful life with his family and later him being a slave.

Luocha: we don't know a lot about him currently, but his character story mentions a planet he left behind, with demons and stuff (I've heard that he may also be from a different game). I don't think he was always a travelling merchant.

Dr. Ratio: currently doesn't fit. But we don't know a lot about his past either, so we'll see.

Upcoming characters:

Sunday: I don't think he'll return to his old position in the Family as if nothing happened.

Rappa: I don't know anything about her past, so it's currently unclear.

Okay we saw baby Rappa with Faye but what about like… ACTUAL Rappa. I’m just imagining her showing up at Faye’s shop one day talking what seems to be complete nonsense but it’s her just. Super excited to meet Silvergun Shura’s lady??? Also Faye absolutely fixed Rappa’s hoverboard thingy and then gets an uptick in customers because Rappa makes graffiti advertisements in some places in her town in as thanks.

faye grew up as the baby of her family, so rappa would instantly be like the younger sister she never had. faye would also call her by her japanese name, ranha. she'd find rappa's way of speaking to be very endearing and wouldn't be at all shocked by it as boothill would have mentioned it to her before. seeing rappa mimic boothill's mannerisms would make her heart swell with so much love for the two of them, i don't think she'd be able to contain her urge to smother both of them with a big hug if they were all hanging out together. faye is also bilingual, so i thought it'd be funny to have them speaking broken japanese with each other. (side note: i didn't realize they were both cropped top and whale tail girlies until drawing them together ;w; ouughh i love them)

bonus:

if rappa did end up advertising the shop, i don't think faye would have been made aware of it. so one day, the two lone mechanics of the small repair shop would just be completely overwhelmed by the new clients (they should probably look into finding more mechanics to hire or something)

𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒚𝒑𝒆: Short fic [requested] 𝑼𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒔: 1.9k words 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓: Platonic, Angst, Fluff, Found family dynamic

Boothill doesn’t know what he was expecting when he chose to visit Gastro-XV during a moment of peace, of which he rarely gets, but adopting a teenager and bringing them back to his ship wasn’t what he expected. Gastro-XV is a planet that was once thriving and full of life, however since a Stellaron landed on the planet it has turned into a barren desert. From what Boothill experienced there, they live by the saying “Every man for himself.” This makes sense in a way since supplies on their planet is very limited and leaving the planet in general is hard unless the IPC, those fudgeheads, or other companies take someone away from the planet. 

The teenager, who rightfully refused to give him their name, followed him around most of the time while he was on the planet. They would just stare at him or hide behind something if anyone came up to talk to Boothill. The planet had his internal fans working overtime. At some point of the teenager last following him and him leaving the planet, they snuck onto his ship. He was already four jumps away from the planet. So now he has to deal with Tumbleweed, his nickname for them, while also figuring out the moral question if he should return them to Gastro-XV. The planet was full of monsters ranging from the Fragmentum monsters he heard from the Trailblazer that were on Jarilo-VI or the abundance abominations. Boothill lets out a grumble as he chews on a bullet while patching Tumbleweed up. The kid had a bunch of bruises and wounds that were bandaged up poorly. He let the kid hold and bite onto his hat while he disinfected their wounds. Maybe it was just because he didn’t have too much time with Clementine. He still goes through days where he misses his daughter but it doesn’t hurt as much anymore.

It took Boothill less than an hour to decide what to do. First off, returning the child to their planet may be a bad thing. Their wounds were so bad it bordered on being fatal for them. Second off, with how the adults are on said planet it would be unlikely for Tumbleweed to survive until they could escape or even adulthood. Third off, its his still alive fatherly instincts that wanted to keep them. He already helped raise Rappa mostly to adulthood from the very damaged childhood she had. Despite being called “Silvergun Shura” by Rappa, she does and has referred to him in a fatherly sense before. What’s another kid to his ever growing list of adopted kids?

Boothill had a ton of trouble at first when it came to taking care of Tumbleweed. Mostly since whatever personal information he asked for such as their name or age was met with them just hiding away in his ship. He has to assume this is something they picked up from the adults around them but it's still a tad annoying to chase them all around his spaceship. It took about a month of bonding to even get a guess about their age. He already did a scan to get a assumption of their age which is 13-16 which makes some sense for their height and how they act but it could be wrong and they can be older because of malnourishment because of their planet’s lack of resources.

Since Tumbleweed still refused to share their name, Boothill still calls them that until they choose to share their name. However for now, Boothill for sure knows they are 15-16 from their guess at their own age now. Boothill looked up information about Gastro-XV and figured out about half a Amber Era ago a Stellaron landed on the planet and ruined it, thus the child likely didn’t have any birthday experience. He asked them when their birthday was. Tumbleweed explained the season they remember being born in and comparing it to the semi-outdated calendar of the planet’s seasons and whatever other details they shared about their birthday, Boothill narrowed it down to a week. Since it already took a lot of time to narrow it down this much, he decided to make the whole week their birthday! He even enlisted Rappa’s help to decorate because he can’t set up decorations for a celebration for the life of him since he is more use to just showing up and doing the cooking and all.

Boothill and Rappa ended up taking on major roles in Tumbleweed’s life. Boothill being the fatherly figure who has and will point his guns at anyone who dare disrespect his children. Rappa is a very fun and active older sister who loves to talk about ninjitsu to them. With whatever way Tumbleweed dresses, feminine or masculine, they will help them out anyway they can. Boothill has a “Dress however the fudge you want! I’ve got bullets I can put in those fudgehead’s brains if they think they can tell people how to dress!” way of caring. Rappa on the otherhand has a “You have mastered the way of disguise Ninja Yumi! I, Dazzling Ninja, shall help you stay undercover in whatever disguise you wish!” way of showing help. (Yumi means “bow” or “arrow” which can symbolize freedom or escaping a situation.)

Rappa and Boothill soon had to go their separate ways since Galaxy Rangers don’t team up for long, even if they had a familial relationship. Boothill knows he isn’t the best person to be raising a child, considering his job and all. He should have perhaps given them to a safer person but he also couldn’t give them up since they clung to him whenever he had to leave the ship for any reason. If he had to make a guess from the parenting books he had read to him by his system, something happened to their parents when they had to leave them for whatever reason. He doesn’t mind them clinging to him but he does worry if hugging his metal body makes them uncomfortable. He knows he can’t be like other parents and hugging their children when they are sad considering he is like all metal mostly.

Boothill is honestly happy to see Rappa and Tumbleweed to get along. It always makes him happy since it reminds him of being raised by Graey and Nick. He does wonder what they would think if they see him and what he is doing right now, but he feels like they would be more proud of him raising kids who were in desperate need of stability or a parental figure. Maybe if Nick and Graey were still alive, they’d all be having a big old family dinner. Maybe Nick and him would be out barbecuing while Graey is setting the table. Perhaps Tumbleweed would be bonding with Clementine. Rappa would maybe be running around the house and spray painting random corners to see when they would all be found. However it is all just hopeful wishes. Maybe in another world or in another universe, this would be real. Maybe he’d have a normal human body and he’d still find his adoptive kids in someway.

When Boothill visited Paperfold University with Rappa as they planned out how to deal with the Slumbernana virus, he noticed Tumbleweed sneaking off to a classroom. Thankfully it was the middle of the night so no one would likely be there but he still wanted to follow incase any cleaning staff still lingered around. Boothill told Rappa this and she choose to follow him as well. They followed Tumbleweed into the empty classroom to see them reading a forgotten notebook likely left by a student leaving in a rush. Boothill had a toothy grin as he asked what they were doing. Tumbleweed quickly explained they were curious about what people were learning here since the education on their planet was trash and only went up to 6th grade. Rappa somehow put on a fancy professor outfit and decided to hold a impromptu class lesson. Boothill rolled his eyes but sat down as “Professor Dazzling Ninja” said.

Rappa mostly began to teach “Number one student Nija Yumi” math and reading, the latter is where Boothill paid attention. Rappa managed to make the often boring topic of Reading and Math entertaining with her add of “Teacher’s Ninjitsu style” to how she taught. She even brought out a extendable pointer as she drew nonsense symbols on the massive chalkboard as she pointed at them during question parts and expected a response even if it was wrong. Boothill ended up being more on the “getting the answer wrong until you had to dumb it down enough for a toddler to understand it” side of things while Tumbleweed used a empty notebook they found to take notes.

This became their night routine unless they had to do something for personal reasons or they were worn out for the day. Even after Rappa and the Trailblazer managed to get rid of the Slumbernana virus, they still did this for a while. Mostly because Rappa managed to convince the Trailblazer who managed to convince Dan Heng to help teach Tumbleweed since Rappa had to leave to chase after Evil Ninja Osaru and stop him. Boothill still sat in one these lessons, mostly because he could use a bit more help in learning to read. As of now, he could read at a 4th grade level. He doesn’t really care about just learning to read at that level at his age, but it’s better late than never since his own planet’s education was poor. He is just glad to see his third child so happy in doing something they have a passion about learning.

Boothill was always happy to help teach his child how to use a gun. Hotcakes, he got taught to use one when he was younger than them! He’d only be more happy if they didn’t make fun of his Synesthesia Beacon messing with his swearing. Either way, he bought them a gun when he next found a gun shop and gifted it to them during their birthday-week! He was happy to help them test it out, moreso when the practice target were some IPC fudgeheads. Rappa gifted them a miniature version of her shurakins. She helped them learn the basics while talking about them needing to master the basics of the shurakins to help defend themselves if their ninja disguise was ever threatened!

Whenever Boothill decided to cook, it was always a filling meal. He may no longer be able to taste most foods, but he still knows how to cook! Mostly by following the recipe book and whatever Graey taught him. Some dishes may end up being failures because he wanted try something new, but he always gives his best word to Tumbleweed and Rappa while he eats his failures. No food goes to waste even if a cyborg has to eat it.

Boothill isn’t the best father in the universe, he knows that. He however just wants to be the best father to Rappa and his Tumbleweed. As long as he can do that, he is proud of himself. He just hopes that if Clementine is watching him, she is proud of her father. As of now, he has to get back to chasing down Rappa as she spray painted his torso while he slept and kept Tumbleweed from climbing into his ship’s hull when they got startled by Rappa jump scaring them.

"Daddy I threw up." The four years old boy mumbled in the door of his office and he could only grimace at the hint of the puke on the corner of his son's lips and all over his shirt.

It wasn't a fucking great experience at all when it came to this.

Kaito had came down with a lot of bad case of colds recently... ever since he was put into a pree school at least. It was normal for kids to get easily sick when they get introduced to a new environment with lots of children in it.

But he swore to all above that sometimes he would even beg to you, ON HIS KNEES EVEN, that if you guys just could home school your son since it was getting him sick like this VERY single time.

But you refused.

At first he was enraged but then you came with a very valid point.

'Kaito needs to interact with more people outside the yakuza... I don't have anything against the precepts, but I think our son deserves to have a normal childhood with actual friends close to his age at least.'

He hated when you were right...

He also wouldn't particularly enjoy that his son got too close with precepts either... he did killed Mimic for teaching Kaito the word 'shit'...

It also didn't help that YOU WERE OUT. You had went along with Chrono to retrieve the medicines the doctor had prescribed on the last visit so now he was basically alone with his kid.

His very dirty and sick kid.

"Good lord..." he growled and stood up from his chair as the boy bounced back and forth... despite being sick, Kaito was still fairly acting like it wasn't a big deal...

"Where is mommy?" The boy as he leaded him to the bathroom to get him cleaned, grab some towels..... and a new pair of gloves.

"Out." He groaned while carefully sliding the shirt off his son and immediately dumping into the basket of clothes ... the smell was almost making him wanting to throw his guts out as well...

"I want mommy... " the boy grumbled "You don't know how to do this..."

"Excuse me?" He breathed out in offense at this kid basically telling him he can't do something right "Get in the shower Kaito. Now."

"No."

This brat....

"Get in there before I make you." He growled and the little boy, already used to his father's attics, just had the audacity to show his tongue at him and turn his back to him.

"You dont how to wash my hair." The four years complained and Chisaki's right eye started to twitch.

"What do you mean by that-"

"Mommy does it better than you."

He groaned... his son was just as stubborn as him and he swore this was karma sended by the old man himself that ALSO was the one that proclaimed he wanted grandkids.

He just took his gloves off and went to grab Kaito's by the waist but the calm and collected kid started to trash around and making a fuss and even yelled when he was put under the water...

He also got splashed as well.... his dress t shirt and black pants now completely soaked.

Kaito when he got sick he acted like it didn't bother him, but he also would get extremely annoyed, clingy and even bossy...

And the fact that the kid also made a fuss to GET OUT of the shower he DIDN'T want to enter at first also started to pick on his damn nerves...

"What did you even ate before you threw up?" He growled while drying the kid who was sniffing for both being sick and crying out earlier about his father taking him out of the water.

"Just some sliced apples... and a chocolate bar uncle Rappa gave me-"

"WHAT?!" He accidentally yelled, immediately feeling like a dick for making his son flinch from the sound..

It reminding him of... her.

"... you can't eat those things when you got problems on your stomach." He said more calmly and drying his son's hair way gentler than usual "It just makes things worse and it ends with you throwing up."

Kaito's (E/c) looked up to his father and nodded, more calm than earlier as Kai sighed... The kid wasn't dumb, he knew when his father was out of patient or just tired... he could even sense it when the yakuza leader was down in the dumb.

Call it whatever you want. But the kid swore it was a talent that only him and his mother could have. The ability to understand Chisaki Kai.

His grandmother always told him that so he believed it.

"Sorry." The kid finally mumbled catching Kai's attention... usually golden cold eyes softening a bit.

"... is fine." He patted his son's head... he resisted the urge to smirk when his son's closed his eyes with a small giggle.

"Hey! I'm back from the- oh." You immediately stopped on your tracks in the living room as soon as you saw Kai, holding his son like a dog, making him take a liquid medicine.

"MOMMY HELP HE IS TRYING TO KILL ME!" the boy whined and immediately got out of his father's death grip to run into you while sobbing a bit...

"He just threw up minutes ago." Kai growled while pointing to the culprit you had just picked up.

"He threw up and you didn't made a fuss out of it?" You teased your husband who only growled at you "I'm shocked."

"No. He was bad at it. See mama?" Kaito pulled a bit his hair "He forced me to take a shower and my hair is now weird... daddy also mentioned he would kill uncle Rappa."

"Listen here you little sh-"

"He is asleep.." You sighed in relief before closing the door to your son's room and but soon catching your husband unusual expression of... worry? Dread? You couldn't exactly tell.

Apparently sensing your gaze on him he just stayed with his arms crossed over his chest before sighing.

"I don't think is normal for a infant to get constantly sick like this..."

Ah... so that was it.

He was worried. Worried that his son would only get worse on his health, worried that Kaito would be sick like this all of time.

Kai wouldn't ever say that out loud.. he would never express it with words that he was worried or cared for either Kaito or you... his actions though, express it louder how much he actually cared. From offering small acts of service to satisfy your wants and even allow himself to get out of his comfort zone to touch you...to protecting his kid on the playground like a angry wolf protecting his cub only because the kid had pushed Kaito with a bit more strength than usual.

Chisaki could be very bad with emotions... but he had them, and believing it or not, he felt them strongly.

"Is alright... the doctor already told us it's a common cold... Kaito is still young and is still developing his immune system..." You mumbled, offering to touch his arm as a warning to not make him uncomfortable.

He simply sighed, a sign you could touch him as you started to carres his upper arm...

"... is not a very... pleasant sensation to see him... on this state. I mean, not only is a mess and this brat gets even more audacious as usual but..." he stopped himself from talking with a scowl before widening his eyes when you made him turn to kiss his lips.

"I'm worried for our son too. But he is strong, just like his parents." You smiled up at your husband before he scoffed, turning to look back to his son's room. A faint blush present on the tip of his ears.

He didn't liked the feeling of his chest contracting in a painfully way every time when Kaito sobbed a bit that he was feeling weird and went straight to you as a comfort... he despised the idea of possibly getting whatever Kaito had but he also felt that it would hurt less if he got this damn cold rather his first born...

It was a very complicated feeling.

But...

Whenever he spotted his son. Giggling, laughing, running... playing with you, Chrono or Pops... it meant that he was well again... he was indeed health.

So yeah... things like seeing your smile and his son's smile... was worth all the nights without sleep or even the worst feeling of deep worry...

.... he didn't regret it. He would go back in time and agree all over again with you to have that brat he swore he would protect you and with his life.

I actually think that Sunday joining the express would be pretty sweet, it would definitely reform him, he'd be able to help us with our missions and he could certainly use some friends in these trying times, also he would be able to change how he sees the world, I hope he can make up with Robin though (cmon hoyo, let the birb siblings be happy again 😭😭)

It's like our weird little family is growing, and I'd love to see his interactions with the rest of The Crew™ . Maybe Dan Heng will finally have some help handling March and the Trailblazer, or maybe he'll have more to deal with 🤣

While a Stellaron Hunter Sunday would be an awesome direction, I actually like the possibility of a Nameless Sunday a lot more!!

I think 2.7 would start with Sunday joining The Crew™ and then sorting out that stuff going on with Fugue/Tingyun in the Xianzhou (I feel like that place is the game's favourite child)

Also since I'll have both Sunday and Rappa, does that mean I'll have the power of God and Anime on my side???

You've done which heroes would be best for 1-A to help them with their Quirks/skills. But what villains do you think could help 1-A the most with developing their powers/potential?

There aren't a lot great options for that. A lot of the villains don't have skills that would help out the heroes. Most of them rely on their Quirks and there aren't a lot of crossover their either. Aside from Kai and Momo, there are only a fair good match ups.

-Shoto and Geten have ice powers. While Shoto may not need help with his ice, it's still something that Geten specializes in. Plus, now Shoto could learn something from the other half of his family.

-Toga and Hagakure are probably the only two people in this series to use stealth effectively. I think that Toga's natural skill with hiding and attacking people could go a long way to help out Hagakure.

-Kirishima and Rappa could have a lot of the same dynamic they had in canon. With Rappa constantly beating on him to make him and his Quirk stronger and trying to make Kirishima be brave. Only now Rappa's trying to make him stronger instead of trying to kill him.

-Number 6 and Iida might be two of the few that would make sense. Both are speedsters and fight a lot in close quarters. It'd be interesting to see Number 6 try to train Iida in close quarters combat and try to get him to reach even higher levels of speed.

Like penacony itself is based around the jazz age which was made by African Americans, and their culture- but there’s not a SINGLE black playable character. Like girl. Really?

Like you got Boothill who’s supposed to be native and Hispanic and looks like a white guy from Nevada named John. While being a cowboy, which has a whole history and stuff- but basically dude should not be white, especially because on top of that his planet, and his story is based around the Native American genocide, and paints the pic to be very similar to Britain/ America.

Aventurine is supposed to be Roma/Romani but he looks like every twink I see at the mall in my town, like he has NOTHING to represent his culture.

And now Rappa- who while I think she might be a gag character meant to poke fun at weebs, she makes me nervous too- because like. Dude. Hyv is gonna pull some shit like “she’s a gangster!!” And give her like weird stereotypes while making her a Japanese girl. Like those white people who are like “I live in the ghetto” but are literally rich and own 4 boats, a lake house, and have a fat fucking family, and a mansion. Like. I’m really nervous that they’re gonna make her use aave and just… misuse it so bad… like they had an instance of that in zzz- I believe, but maybe they used it right. I can’t remember, but it was in one of Zhu yuan’s like hang out things- and some girl said something but I can’t remember what exactly it was and if they used it right or not. Either way, I’m really worried that Rappa will just be a big fuck up because her design is cool, even though she’s another instance of a design I think would look better if she was black, or just dark skinned.

2.6 Penacony thoughts [part 2]

**Spoiler warning** for everything up until the end of Rappa’s flashbacks. I’ve already finished the story by now so just be mindful of that if I do mention something earlier than intended or anything that happens towards the very end if you haven’t completed everything yet.

Knowing now that this whole ninja idea is a big delusion inside her own head is kinda sad honestly. I would’ve been down to see an entire society with people just like her.. but nope.

It is so darn sweet how much Dan Heng cares about his Astral Express family, aaaaah. His voice sounded so tender too.

I may be stupid, but for the longest time I believed that there was only one Emanator for each path, which is why when I heard Dan Heng mention Dr. Primitive as one for Erudition I thought, nah, that’s Herta.. until I remembered the Arbiter Generals are all sorta blessed by Lan, so clearly there can be multiple Emanators, yea? Do correct me if I’m wrong on any account. I don’t delve too deep into Aeon lore often. Regardless, if what Dan Heng says is true (which I assume it is because he’s incredibly intelligent), then yeah, this doctor could be a problem.

I love and cherish every moment Rappa breaks out into a rap. I’m sure each one of her voice actors did wonderfully.

The speed at which I chose the swear option should be feared. I didn’t even bother reading the other choices and I don’t regret it one bit because each of these lines is beyond hilarious!

Looking back now and I noticed there was an option to get the Trailblazer to rap instead, which would of course impressed Rappa, but.. yeah, guess that’s something I’ll never hear.

I couldn’t help myself but choose the swears a third time because of how hard Rachael’s delivery and the constant *bana* censors had me completely dying of laughter. Boothill would be so proud of me.

Never once while watching all version’s trailers would I have ever imagined that all those monkeys running around would’ve actually been people.. oh dear. This patch when from silly to serious real quick.

I honestly was a bit surprised to hear Rappa talk without the usual ninja jargon. I’ve grown rather fond of it and her quirkiness by now. Just a shame it’s all mainly a result of the experiments she was put through.

Psycho. But I’ll give him a pass. It did amuse me how we in fact change scenes right after this.

Oh huzzah he’s not totally corrupt by siding with Profnana. He has some standards and I dig that for him.

I don’t know why but he gives me the tiniest Aventurine vibes here and the whole “unlike the house, the gambler knows exactly what they want,” quote comes to mind.. at least the part about Reca knowing his main goal and how he’ll do anything to achieve it perfectly.

This scene.. is doing things to me. I’m touched by how adorable young Boothill looks and yet I’m also trying my best to look respectfully at older Boothill’s.. um, everything. I don’t own our space cowboy so it’s been a hot minute since I’ve read his lore, but I thought his whole cyborg body transformation was done all at once, sorta like how it was depicted in his light cone instead of by pieces like this.. I dunno, maybe he was taken apart and put back together several times, but goddamn, he looks amazing. But are they saying there’s only ten years difference between these two versions of him? Talk about a glow up.

Thank aeons this patch exists and gives me all the Boothill action I originally hoped for when this man was first introduced. I still don’t think he did much in the main Penacony story, but he’s certainly making up for lost time now.

I’ll be completely honest.. if Rappa was actually as serious as she appears here, I’d love her twice as much. Don’t get me wrong, I adore the goofball she normally is, but there’s just something about the look in her eyes and that no-nonsense vibe she’s giving off here that tickles my fancy so much more.

Not entirely sure if it’s a common trait for Memokeepers to be capable of teleporting people, but it’s definitely an interesting little trick. From Black Swan’s cards to Mr. Reca’s film reels, I wonder what other possible methods are out there. Oh, and goes without saying, but I hope he’s playable in the future.

The moment Rappa’s flashback begins inside a lab and other people were seen inside of tubes, I knew our girl wasn’t an ordinary person. I didn’t know if I should be upset or intrigued by this twist because it certainly wasn’t the kind of backstory I was expecting for her. I didn’t pull for her so I didn’t even think to read through her character stories, so all this came outta left field for me.

I did know that her E6 portrait shows the back of her neck and what I originally assumed to be a tattoo of three little dots, or even something like a curse mark, but hearing all this now has made it very clear that it ain’t no tattoo!

Bruh.. and we thought Rappa was the true weeb. Nah, it’s this dude. She’s only living in a Naruto themed delusion because this guy loves a manga too much.

Well, at least this all explains why her combat path is Erudition. Not gonna lie but I kinda love when there’s an actual valid reason behind a character’s path. Sure, it makes perfect sense why people like Gepard is Preservation and Feixiao being The Hunt, but someone like Jiaoqiu? A military healer whom isn’t Abundance? Yeah, we all questioned why but his past experiences with war and how that trauma changed him undoubtedly support his path of Nihility. Now we get Rappa who follows The Hunt due to being a Galaxy Ranger, but her combat path is Erudition because that’s exactly what she was created to be.

Well fudge, didn’t expect this dude to resort to such violence. That’s usually Boothill’s job.

Oohhh dear.. before we concern ourselves with the obvious, who even is this other Galaxy Ranger who showed up? You think we’re ever gonna meet them? And how long until this game finally allows someone to swear without any censors?? I eagerly await the day and still place my hopes on it being for Seele.

So, um.. yeah. I say those experiments were quite successful and Rappa is someone to be feared. She’s so unbothered by the dead bodies around her, but I guess after ten years of suffering, you just become numb to this kinda stuff. Thank aeons to whomever saved her and allowed her to join the Galaxy Ranger instead. Our girl definitely softened up since then.

And with all that troublesome backstory out of the way, I’ll leave the rest for one last post. Much less serious from here on out.
