what’s it like to be angelkin? i might be one, but I’m not too sure

Oh boy this is a tough question. But for me being Angelkin always felt more like I'm something more than what I was born as.

I have always imagined myself having wings and flying and just free. And I've also always been a open spiritual person (not believing in anything exactly but believing in everything at the same time).

I didn't know about being angelkin till like....last year? I want to say. So I myself feel like I'm still discovering myself.

There's also different type of angelkins not all of them are religious. I myself don't really think mine is religious but maybe that's cause I feel like as if my divine self is just at home and someone wrote a story about it and believe in it like a religion. (If that makes sense).

I think I rambled off..

Anyways for me being angelkin always felt like I'm something more. With big wings that wants to wrap and protect the people I love and show that I care. To fly free and enjoy life. The sun, the music, the arts, and the stars at night helps me feel connected.

Favorite Nirvana songs and why?

Lounge Act - idk the baseline just gets me every time, it's pretty snazzy. It's just a cool sounding song. What else could you ask for.

Breed - borderline surf rocky. Love it. I think its worth mentioning that nirvana is one of those bands that I just have no idea what hes saying 80% of the time.

Man who sold the world - I know this is a Bowie song (and I also love it) but Cobain's version is just so 👌👌👌 brings to mind just wandering in some desolate desert trapped somewhere between night and day, life and death, etc. Really strange lyrics (again, by Bowie) that leave you with more questions than answers.

About a girl - sorry the academy is but nirvana's one is better. Yours is ok too.

love buzz - apparently this is a cover too??? Cool song, very deserty.

Negative creep - its actually not a top tier song for me but fun fact if you play this at the exact time as Creep by Radiohead they cancel each other out and it sounds like pure white noise

Sorry for the in utero erasure. I've only listened to it a couple times and my brain is incapable of memorizing music, especially loud intense rock, unless I've listened to it like 25 times. I have no idea how many times I listened to tyranny (voidz) before I actuslly processed any of it and it's probably my favorite album now.

A lot of circles talking about how much harassment they’ve (or people they know or witnessed) received from either you or your friends…

Especially in regards to hit lists that floated in the past? Talk of doxxing? Rumors being spread? Gossiping to people? Callouts on people who don’t associate with the things they are being called out on?

I hope it’s not true i would like to think you’re as chill and easygoing as you portray most times. A lot of people including myself look up to you this kind of…sucks to hear /gen/not accusatory /is there a tag for that lol🧡

I’ve interacted with you freely until recently and now i’m hearing stories that are indicative of you being unsafe and i hope that’s untrue

I’m genuinely so appalled by a lot of these stories and it confuses me because these are people i love and trust a lot and several separate people have had the exact same stories to tell

(These are people who are also disgusted by problematic content on a personal level, in case that’s relevant, i am very careful to not interact with dangerous people or toxicity)🧡🧡🧡🧡(ig either way allegations of doxxing and harassment would be bad but it’s especially heartbreaking to hear from people who’ve done nothing wrong)

I haven’t seen those posts myself but have grown to be concerned. The people who have talked to me about these things are really down to earth people kind people and i couldn’t imagine them being accused of things or threatened?

I could understand if they were creeps but…I wouldn’t expect to hear that from them.

but if you do know, what are your favorite genres in music? im a huge music nerd and i NEED to know what kind of music you like,,,

OKAY OKAY so generally speaking there's no specific genre I tend to stick by to some religious degree. More often than not any generated playlist from wherever I'm listening from is destined to be the least consistent thing imaginable.

To generally answer this question would be trickier than just tossing a bunch of random songs at people but I'm gonna do my damn best to keep it relevant. I am gonna add some examples so I'm putting this under a read-more to keep from making the post needlessly long for passer-byers. (Some genres may not be 100 accurate, in the examples, but they're along the same lines I think).

EDM

I don't know exactly how much this description gets the point across but like, this music sounds like industrial iron, steel and bullets, and in the good way! Can't pinpoint exactly when or why but the general sound of the genre is very nostalgic to me (and in an almost comical way every artist that I've seen fall under that genre or orbit around it happens to have an incredibly deep voice 9 times out of 10. Absolutely not a complaint. Fucking gorgeous sound. Would highly recommend listening to at night outside in a lit-up city area.

NINTENDOCORE

I proceeded to make this genre into my entire personality. Surprise surprise, a lot of the music uses 8-bit sound effects to hell and back. And y'know what? Nothing scratched the itch in my brain better than that ever did.
