Hello everyone and hope you’re all doing well. Today I was inspired to share my #top15favouriteclassicfictionbooks when I saw @travels.along.my.bookshelf do it on her page. A lot of these are special editions that I live like Penguin clothbound classics and the Vintage Modern Classics Designer Editions. I’ve also got an Oxford World Classic which I’m now a little obsessed with and need more of and a special Folio edition of one of my favourite children’s books. Hello everyone and happy Friday! I’m still so grateful for taking photos in advance as unfortunately I’m still poorly and mostly confined to my bed. Ah, the joys of chronic illness! 😅 I talked on Monday about wanting to get the whole Virago Modern Classics Designer Editions and these are four more gorgeous ones I managed to get my mitts on. They are: The Birds (and other stories) - Daphne du Maurier. This is one of my favourite books, I always recommend it! Jamaica Inn - Daphne du Maurier - another of my favourites and the second book I read of hers after Rebecca. The Magic Toyshop - Angela Carter - unread but I have read and enjoyed the author before. I love this cover so much! The Enchanted April - Elizabeth von Arnim - unread, one I hadn’t heard of before now but I’m excited to get to.
