First review of the year (in June!) is all about unconventional roles for aliens and homo sapiens! I talk a novel about humans being the aliens in a galactic Eurovision-like competition, and one about aliens touching down in a small US town - and basically not doing anything for three years.

“...it has been less than a year since the allegations against these men surfaced, and in each instance, the men have done little in the way of public contrition. When they have apologized, they have done so with carefully worded, legally vetted statements. They have deflected responsibility. They have demonstrated that they don’t really think they’ve done anything wrong. And worse, people have asked for the #MeToo movement to provide a path to redemption for these men, as if it is the primary responsibility of the victimized to help their victimizers find redemption.”

For years, I used my personal Tumblr account to post/promote whatever I posted on my eight-year-old book blog. Never thought of creating a separate Tumblr for it, even when I did the same for all other social media accounts.
Well, better late than never. Making use of the new space - apologies for recycled posts over the next few days. And check out the blog!
