yeah honestly I’m not fussed about having left it so early. something that really got to me in the past (and still sometimes does) is taking fandom way too seriously! now I’ve realized that trying to force myself to stay into a fandom I’m not into is harmful to my creativity and wellbeing, but also on the other hand, stopping myself from producing the content I want and engaging with what I truly want is also far too stifling!

Great catch @consider-thecoconut​​, that makes so much sense! 

I was wondering who the voices are who sing out in the crowd at the Reaping, inspiring Lucy Gray to start singing. The child’s voice is most likely Maude Ivory, but what about the “distinctly male” voice? Tam Amber, maybe? But he was always described as quiet and was more of a banjo player than a singer.

I think it’s mostly likely Tam. Even though his demeanor is quieter, Lucy Gray says all the Coveys sing onstage, so he would certainly be able to project and be heard when he wanted to. I think the circumstance of Lucy Gray being reaped and struggling onstage would certainly be a time where he would want to speak up and help. It could also be Billy Taupe, I suppose, though I’m inclined to lean toward Tam. Though there bad blood between Lucy Gray and Billy, he still has feelings for her and didn’t want her to be reaped. So he may be an option as well? If anyone else has thoughts on this, please weigh in!

How crowded was it when you did the stage door in San Francisco? Is it less crowded than the Broadway stage door? I'm seeing it tomorrow and this is my first time stage dooring

It’s much less crowded. Granted, there still is a crowd, but the New York stage door is hell. It’s super easy to stage door in San Francisco compared to New York, so you should be fine. The last time I went I was sitting in the balcony and it took literally forever to get down, and I still got a great spot on the barricade.

Vanessa has meant so, so much to me, way more than you would expect from like, a white European girl I guess, but she's been there to give me strength for some very important parts of my life.

quote from the show that sticks out to me I don't know why this quote is always my favorite but it really is "I've spent my life inheriting dreams from you", I feel like it really encapsulates that notion of tradition AND legacy wrapped together and the community aspect of the story and everything.

random opinion i have about the show (if i have one) Eh, I feel like most of the fandom doesn't really like the show as it is, they like their idea of who the male characters are and nothing else.
