How to refer to relative paths of resources when working with a code repository

We are working with a code repository which is deployed to both Windows and Linux - sometimes in different directories. How should one of the modules inside the project refer to one of the non-Python resources in the project (CSV files, etc.)?

If we do something like:

thefile = open('test.csv')

or:

thefile = open('../somedirectory/test.csv')

It will work only when the script is run from one specific directory, or a subset of the directories.

What I would like to do is something like:

path = getBasePathOfProject() + '/somedirectory/test.csv'thefile = open(path)

Is it possible?

I've only used this 𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐤 by @glowrecipe a couple of times but I am really enjoying using it. It has a really subtle, nice scent and is really easy to apply and you don't need a lot of it either. It absorbs into the skin pretty quickly, which I really like. The following morning my skin feels so soft and it looks plumped too. I'm really interested to see the results after continued use. It's definitely getting a 👍 from me. If you are looking to introduce retinol into your routine, this may well be one to try as it's pretty gentle on the skin thanks to the encapsulated retinol and the nourishing avocado. My skin can be quite sensitive to retinol but I had no irritation or sensitivity to this 𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐤 at all, and that was leaving it on overnight. the unused soundtrack i found on the rom i dont think ill ever be able to open. Ive been using tinke for file extraction and VG music studio to try to convert it/open it, but its not working. the ROM files are already super compressed and not at all what i was expecting due to other results for other games (which usually have sprite files, textures, etcetc)

ive downloaded wappy roms from multiple sites to try to see if any of them were diffferent but theyre all pretty much identitcal, and the ones that arent are even MORE compressed.

idk maybe if i have to use another emulator explorer besides tinke to look, but i havent been able to even open other ones like nitro explorer 3.

Maybe ill try to pick this up more tomorrow but agh. its disheartening!!!! idk if t\its the game itself or the emulator or what that compressed it THIS much but something in my brain tells me if it was for the 3ds thered be more files...but that opens another can of worms

How do I download a file with Angular2 or greater

I have a WebApi / MVC app for which I am developing an angular2 client (to replace MVC). I am having some troubles understanding how Angular saves a file.

The request is ok (works fine with MVC, and we can log the data received) but I can't figure out how to save the downloaded data (I am mostly following the same logic as in this post). I am sure it is stupidly simple, but so far I am simply not grasping it.

The code of the component function is below. I've tried different alternatives, the blob way should be the way to go as far as I understood, but there is no function createObjectURL in URL. I can't even find the definition of URL in window, but apparently it exists. If I use the FileSaver.js module I get the same error. So I guess this is something that changed recently or is not yet implemented. How can I trigger the file save in A2?
