Jester can’t be any younger than like 24 - the Traveller said he had been spending time with her for the better part of 2 decades (so closer to 20 years than 10) and Marion said Jester became more of a trickster in her adolescence (so like 9-13 ish) if we take the absolute minimum from those (15 and 9) we get 24, but any less than that wouldn’t match up with what characters have already hinted at.

Okay you know what? This is very valuable evidence and I’m glad you sent it over. I’m totally using this to backup my headcanon for her age in the future.

Hi back again on the age thing. Beau is throughout the campaign 24-26, Fff jordy said whilst giving her a pep talk at The hag house that she had her whole life ahead of her and he was only “a couple years older” than her though his wiki says “early thirties” so I think on the dot 30 sounds about right (maybe 31)

Liam at some point said Caleb was 33 though with the timeline he may have aged from there.

I don’t remember what Reani said about seeing Marion perform but even if Jester had been around Reani wouldn’t have seen her (with her being hidden away.

Veth is “approx 25” according to the wiki but I don’t know if that’s like Halfling maturation or actual years.

Headcanon for you: Jester has no f-ing (dunno if I can swear here) clue how old she is, that’s why she won’t tell anyone. She was surprised when Marion said that her affair with Babanon had been “decades” ago, maybe she was like “oh shit am I really old and didn’t know?”

Alright that’s actually a super cool idea. Jester not knowing her exact age would be very interesting.

And yeah, re: Veth’s age... I don’t know. Fantasy aging really does make my head hurt. The PHB says halflings reach adulthood around 20. Adults in their late teens. Halflings live a lot longer than humans. Like 3x lifespan?
