The Vidalia Onion Festival has been featured on The Food Network and recognized as one of the Five Don’t-Miss Festivals Across the U.S. by MSNBC and a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event. Join us for a sweet time in Vidalia! The fun starts before the festival officially begins with the Miss Vidalia Onion Pageants, the Vidalia Onion Culinary Extravaganza, and the Carnival. TODAY...Saturday, October 6th...It started with a seed. Seeds of Sound Music and Arts Festival was founded in 2017 by Anthony Prince and Jennifer 'Uncle Jenny' Edouard. On March 18th, 2017. ATL-based rock band, The Night Shift., had a show at Buffington's in Milledgeville. Too exhausted to drive back to Atlanta, they decided to stay at an Air-BnB in a town called Sparta. It was there that Anthony & Jennifer began their journey with the Oasis Family Tribe, and that year on September 26-28th, the seed was planted. By 2018, a bridge was built and the arts community began connecting at Alphapalooza, Friendship Music Festival, and Sigh in July Music and Arts Festival. Through intangible collaborative experiences, the team has grown to able to produce a cathartic, musically diverse, grassroots camping festival at Oasis Family Farm. This healing and arts festival is both a celebration for the community but a rejuvenating experience for the individual. You, the individual, are invited to create your space within our family, to dive into yourself, and to leave with a heightened sense of compassion in humanity, and an awareness for your community.
