I just asked my sister to give her opinion on SydCarmy. She doesn’t watch The Bear so their perspective is completely unbiased. I showed them the panic attack scene and she said it’s so clear there’s romantic subtext.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
finally getting around to this, thank you @astromechs for the tag!!
::
1. How many works do you have on ao3?
29
2. What’s your total ao3 word count?
327,391
3. What fandoms do you write for?
mainly star wars and marvel! though i don't write marvel as much anymore (the mcu really burned me too many times lol and just took away a lot of my inspiration/motivation to write for it). so mostly star wars nowadays, but occasionally i will sprinkle in a fic for a different fandom!
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
a. we find ourselves when we lose everything else - 519 kudos
b. our time in the dark - 518 kudos
c. risk everything we have (and just let our walls cave in) - 426 kudos
d. if loves elastic (then were we born to test it’s reach) - 391 kudos
e. revelations (come to us in recovery) - 388 kudos
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
no 🙈. weirdly enough, i was a lot better about responding years ago on my ff. net account. but i don't really do it on ao3, honestly because i'm just a little lazy about it lol. but i promise i read every single one and know that if you've ever left a comment, i appreciate it so so much!!
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
probably broken things. it's a romanogers soulmate last words au which ended in a major character death. but you know. last words au, death. it made sense haha.
i've also written a couple canon-compliant character study type fics, including one for natasha romanoff, one for cassian andor/rogue one crew, some for leia organa (post-tfa), and well, none of those end very happily sooooo.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
uhhhhhhh why was this so hard asdffglkhglj. i write a lot of agnst and hurt/comfort lol. but my fic, the weight of your love, is just pure kanera fluff. and these two kanera fics that i've posted on tumblr (but not on ao3 yet), are just silly and fun and fluffy.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
not really, thankfully. i mean, i've gotten some not-so-nice comments in the past (again, mainly on ff.net) but i've never gotten anything super aggressive or confrontational, so i'm grateful to be in nice corners of fandom!
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
occasionally yes. typically i insert my smut scenes into longer fics though. (i do have a bunch of unpublished half-written smut fics that i haven't gotten the courage to finish and post yet, bc i'm not always the most confident in my smut writing but maybe one day!)
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
not really. i'm not even the best at coming up with AUs, much less crossovers lol. i think the closest i've gotten to a crossover is an agents of shield/mcu crossover, which shouldn't even BE a crossover, but considering that the mcu never acknowledged AoS, it kinda feels like it is. anyway, wrote a fic where daisy johnson and bucky barnes are bffs, and i'm quite fond of it!
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
yeah :/ i had somebody take one of my fics and (related to next question) translate it and put it on wattpad. i couldn't message the author and my attempts to contact wattpad got me nowhere so i kinda just let it go.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
looking at last question, technically yes. but other than that, not yet! i would be very honored if someone wanted to translate one of my fics though, and would have absolutely no problem with it! (so long as they asked and didn't steal it asdkfsjd)
13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
only bits and pieces of shared aus with friends for fun, but haven’t published anything.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
kanera and romanogers, hands down. kanan and hera are more recent, but i fell in love with both their characters and them as a couple so fast, and i absolutely love writing for them. they're going to stick with me forever. and steve and natasha.... my loves. fell in love with them when i saw catws the first time and haven't looked back. they've stuck with me the longest, i think. and even though i don't write marvel as much anymore, i still think about them a lot, and there's a lot of stevenat wips i have that i still hope to finish one day.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
whew ummmmm. there's a couple of romanogers fics (specifically finishing our time in the dark and the follow-up to revelations which is an endgame fix-it) that i have told myself i will finish. and i want to! but it will really take a major push to get me back into the headspace to write for marvel again. genuinely, endgame drained so much of the love and inspiration i had so 😔 i hope i can prove myself wrong one day!
i also have ambitions to do a star wars sequels rewrite, but it feels so big lol, so idk if i'll ever actually get around to finishing it. but the bits i have written for it i have so much love for.
16. What are your writing strengths?
digging deep into character emotions and their headspaces. that's something i really like exploring. also i think i'm pretty good about including small details, particularly with using the different senses and using those to help set the scene, and whatnot. in short, description and emotion are my strong suits!
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
humor. i think i can be funny sometimes in my writing, but i definitely don't think i'm as good at humor as other people. and especially funny dialogue and banter, that's something i feel like i have to think about more. so still working on that!
i also don't know if this is a true weakness, but i literally don't know when to stop writing asdfljgldkj. i feel like lately it's so hard for me to write short fics (unless i do it in a mad burst in one sitting). but if i'm thinking a lot about a fic, chances are it's going to be 5k MINIMUM.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
i'm not real comfortable with it, especially if i don't speak the language. if it's a very short phrase or a singular word, i will try to use a translator and other online investigating (and then nicely ask people to correct me in the comments if i'm wrong lol). but if i want to have the character speaking full sentences i will usually type it out in english and then use "they said in [insert language here]" as the tagline.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
if we're going wayyy back, technically the first fic i wrote was a bones fic when i was in middleschool lmao. i wrote it in a notebook, never published it online. but i first posted fics online in high school (as a freshman i think), and i think the first fics i published were for percy jackson and supernatural lol.
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
probably revelations. looking at it now, there are certainly things i would change about this one, but i wrote it on and off for 3 years, so i was just really proud when i finally finished it. and there are still a lot of character moments i wrote into this one that i still love.
also you are my solid ground. plot does not really exist in this fic, but i had the best time writing the steve/nat/sam dynamic. literally dream trio.
(real talk, some of my fave fics are ones that i haven't finished yet/haven't published yet. i think my newest favorite fic is the kanan character study one i'm working on now. i still have a little bit to go, but i'm really close to finishing it, and i'm just so proud of it. there's so much about it that i love and i can't wait to share it (hopefully by the end of the year!)).

OTP Tag Game
I really needed a distraction today and I saw some other people doing this game and it looked fun. I won't tag people because it's long but please do it and tag me if you want! Rules: pick your 10 favorite ships (can be in random order) and then answer the questions. Choose ships before reading the questions! 1. Romanogers - Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanoff (MCU) 2. Huntingbird - Bobbi Morse/Lance Hunter (Agents of Shield) 3. Seeley Booth/Temperance Brennan (Bones) 4. Keenler - Elizabeth Keen/Donald Ressler (The Blacklist) 5. Olicity - Oliver Queen/Felicity Smoak (Arrow) 6. Jisbon - Theresa Lisbon/Patrick Jane (The Mentalist) 7. Percabeth - Percy Jackson/Annabeth Chase (PJO) 8. Hodgela - Angela Montenegro/Jack Hodgins (Bones) 9. Thea Queen/Roy Harper (Arrow) 10. Dousy - Daisy Johnson/Daniel Sousa (Agents of Shield)
1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 6? Technically I shipped Jisbon before watching the show because my best friend watched it and would recount the angst of them still not being together to me every week on our walk to school. I think the first episode I watched was actually the first episode they kissed and I was in love but I didn't actually watch the show for many years. But yeah, I shipped them the entire time I was watching the show. I really fell in love with their dynamic though around season 3 or 4. 2. Have you ever read a fanfic about 2? Uh Yes. A lot 😅 I've also wrote several Huntingbird fics. @bobbiamorse is my favorite Huntingbird author so everyone should check out their fics! 3. Has a picture of 4 ever been your screen saver/profile picture/Tumblr screen saver? No, but to be fair I never have couples as my profile pic or anything. If I had a Blacklist specific blog though, Elizabeth Keen would definitely be my profile pic and Keenler might be my banner 4. If 7 were to suddenly break up today, what would your reaction be? I would be devastated. Rick Riordan put them (and me) through way too much pain for them to not get a happy ending. No. I refuse to believe that Percabeth isn't endgame. 5. Why is 1 so important? Because they are perfect. Their relationship was underrated but their chemistry was off the charts. They may have never got together in the movies but every single scene they had together was impactful. CAtWS was a phenomenal movie, "I didn't want you to be alone", the 2 years on the run, the 5 years after the snap, "see you in a minute", Steve saying they were her family. All of these moments (and many more) were so small but packed a huge punch. I know people liked their friendship but they literally embodied everything I love in a good OTP. Natasha is also one of the most underrated MCU heroes despite being one of the original 6 Avengers. And Steve Rogers/Captain America is the hero I strive to be. We have similar personalities and he's probably my second fav hero after Nat. So the pair together just meant a lot to me and I love them
6. Is 9 a funny ship or a serious ship? Roy and Thea are a serious ship and didn't get the love they deserved! I know they were both background characters but in general, I think the writers dropped the ball a lot when it came to their potential. The one later season episode where Roy came back was like a balm for my shipper heart and I will stand by that they eventually found each other again and got back together. 7. Out of all of the ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry? That’s. This one is tough. Top 3 is definitely Olicity, Dousy, and Romanogers. All 3 of these, I started shipping almost instantly which I think speaks to chemistry. Dousy had less than 10 episodes between meeting and getting together and yet it was one of the most authentic relationships on the show in my opinion. The relationship was shocking but so perfect and natural. Plus, seeing Daisy happy was exactly what I needed from the last season. Romanogers I already discussed but yeah, I think they have a lot of chemistry because every interaction had so much emotional meaning to it. Olicity has to make the list though because they were the first ship I fell in love with purely through a mutual's tumblr posts. Long before I watched the show, I shipped Olicity because every gif made of them (before they were even together in the show) had them displaying so much love for each other. Even the writer's acknowledged that their chemistry is the only reason Felicity became a regular cast member instead of a rare background character. 8. Out of all your ships listed, which ship has the strongest bond? I feel like almost all of them have incredibly strong bonds forged by years of friendship and partnership in highly dangerous scenarios. But for this question, I will say Booth/Brennan, Keenler, and Jisbon have the strongest bonds considering it took 6-8 seasons of them being FBI partners before they finally admitted their feelings. They all exhibit unwavering trust in their partner and a willingness to do almost anything for their protection. Their bond goes far deeper than their romance. (And I totally could have also thrown Romanogers in here but I've said my thoughts on them) 9. How many times have you read/watched 10s fandom? I don't even know how many times I've watched AoS at this point 😂 At least 3ish full rounds and several partial rounds. But I've only watched season 7 twice. 10. Which ship has lasted the longest? I think that award has to go to Angela/Hodgins and Booth/Brennan although they have the unfair advantage of having 12 seasons lol. Angela and Hodgins technically have a season on Booth/Brennan but considering they got less focus, I'm saying their equal. 11. How many times, if ever, has 6 broken up? 0 unless you count Jane running away in a panic them breaking up but I don't really consider that since they were married a few episodes later. 12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 2 or 8? Almost definitely Bobbi and Hunter. As much as I love Angela and Hodgins, Bobbi and Hunter are trained spies and have seen a lot of weird crap. 13. Did 7 ever have to hide their relationship for any reason? Did they hide their feelings from themselves? Yes. Hide their relationship from others? No. They kissed and got thrown in a lake for the best underwater kiss ever. 14. Is 4 still together? This question is rude and I take personal offense to it. 😭😭😭 Listen, Keenler is together in my heart but unfortunately, the writer's are cruel, evil people who wanted to make fans hate their show by killing off the main character. I have refused to watch the current season because of this. #ElizabethKeenDeservedBetter 15. Is 10 canon? Yup! Only two ships on this list aren't canon but luckily, Dousy is one of them and they are kicking butt in space on the SWORD team 16. If all 10 ships were out into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win? This is way too hard considering most of them are some type of superhero/spy/FBI agent. I would guess that Romanogers, Huntingbird, and
Percabeth would make it the longest but who would win among them is totally up in the air. 17. Has anybody ever tried to sabotage 5’s ship? Um yeah, Oliver and Felicity 😂 Like yes others tried to use the other for pain purposes but no one was better at sabotaging their relationship as themselves. See Seasons 3, 4, 5 and bits of others for prime examples. 18. Which ship would you defend to the death and beyond? ALL OF THEM! There is not one ship on this list that I don't firmly believe belong together and were good for each other. I wouldn't consider them OTPs if I wasn't ready to go to battle for them 19. Do you spend hours a day going through 3’s Tumblr page? From time to time, yes. Unfortunately, Bones has not been airing new eps since 2017 so their isn't new (canon) content to fill my soul but Bones is my comfort show so whenever I need a pick me up, I will go through the tag. 20. If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of ten ships to break up forever or else she’d break them all forever, which ship would you sink? Unfortunately probably Thea/Roy. I think technically they weren't even back together when the show ended. Which means they've already been apart for years so as much as my shipper heart loves to believe that Thea went back for Roy like people suggested, I would be okay with that never happening if it meant my other ships got their happy endings (which several did not. grrr)
This was extremely fun and just the distraction I needed. I told myself I wouldn't let this get too long but with 20 questions, it was kind of unavoidable.

I had a thought earlier today and I hope y’all are ready for some hella Romanogers angst BUT JUST HOLD UP THERE’S A HAPPY ENDING I PROMISE.
Okay so at the start of TWS when Steve and Nat are basically not super-close like they end up being she’s trying to set him up on dates and stuff and let’s leave that as it is but okay here’s the thing
After he saves her life and the two really start getting closer and building a dynamic she starts to feel something but she’s pretty convinced it’s just them becoming better friends and having legitimate trust and realistically it probably is.
But as things keep happening in the MCU more and more something more develops and she starts actively trying to convince herself it’s not that while trying to set him up with someone more assertively until eventually at some point later on down the line (idk when just probably sometime before or during IW) she realizes two things
1. She has hella strong feelings for Steve after all 2. The reason she keeps trying to set him up on dates is because she wants to see him happy and have a social life but feels 100% certain he’d reject her or not be happy with her no matter how true or untrue that is which is part of why number 1 terrifies her, the other part of it being her past and all that baggage and such.
She keeps holding back and 5 years after IW it becomes too late.
However because the MCU did both Nat and Steve dirty and we don’t accept that shit in this house (they’re not the only ones but the way they treated those two are the biggest offenders here) Steve DOESN”T FRICKING STAY IN THE PAST and gets Nat back in exchange for the Soul Stone at Vormir and then there’s a lot to talk about there.
Of course, the funny thing is, Steve is the one to say something first.
...anyway don’t mind me, going on angst-into-sweetness shipping rants again. I have a few or other ships too tbh including one for Steve and Bucky but I’ll save those for when I’m too burnt out to do posts but my mind is too restless to do nothing again.

Why I Don’t Like the Stucky Ship
Hello. I’m Andy. And I don’t like the Stucky ship in the MCU.
I never have. I never will.
Now that’s not to say that I HATE it, nor that I think those who ship it are stupid or disgusting or delusional or whatever stupid names warring ships are calling each other these days.
It’s just that I find Stucky (and similar ships) extremely frustrating. And if you haven’t already started going off about this post (nothing personal, but I’ve been in this fandom since 2008; I know how y’all can be) and care to listen, I’ll explain to you why.
Tumblr media
Now, every time I say I don’t ship this pairing, I invariably get people coming at me and giving me evidence to support the idea that Steve and Bucky are in love. To which I say, my dude, I have watched the exact same movies you have, and if you’re interested, I can direct you to a particular comic that would give you even more ammo (and that’s just what popped into my head right away; I’m sure there are more out there). I’m not saying that Steve and Bucky’s actions are 100% NOT indicative of romantic love. I can totally see how someone watching that could come to that conclusion.
Tumblr media
But I really, really don’t ship it. In fact I anti-ship it. I bro-ship the fuck out of it, but I anti-ship them. And the reason is simple:
I want little boys to know that fiercely loving their friends is okay and doesn’t have to mean they’re dating.
Now if they are dating, that’s fine; you should always be friends with your SO, because if you’re not, why the hell are you dating?
But as a girl who was friends with a guy for most of my life, best friends, in fact, with neither of us being gay, it is honestly. so. fucking. exhausting to have people constantly asking “oh are you dating?” every single time you show support or affection for someone. GODDAMMIT SARAH NO WE’RE NOT DATING THIS IS MY GODDAMN BESTIE FUCK OFF. In fact we went through a time where we started distancing ourselves from each other because we were just so fucking tired of it. I almost lost my best friend because people couldn’t grasp the idea that neither one of us had any romantic attraction to each other and yet we were STILL affectionate to each other.
And I feel like, if we were both boys, it would have been even worse. So often boys are told not to show their emotions, to man up and not be sissies, and that crying and showing you care is a sign of weakness, and (in some places) that if you DARE show any level of affection towards another boy THEN YOU ARE A DEPLORABLE WASTE OF LIIIIIIFE.
There is not a single...m/m? double male? dual male? Sure, dual male friendship in the media (that I can think of) that doesn’t have a rabid ship fanbase screaming from the heavens that they’re secretly fucking and that if they aren’t seen in a relationship it’s queerbaiting or something along those lines. I can’t think of a single dual male relationship that exists that is outwardly affectionate that people don’t automatically start calling gay. So little boys don’t know that you can love your friends without being gay. Again, there’s nothing wrong with being gay, but having been harassed about my love life to a far lesser extent than many gay/perceived-gay people experience, that shit is fucking frustrating as fuck and highly toxic to a perfectly healthy and fulfilling friendship. So imagine if I were also a guy, like my friend.
Tumblr media
So often I get people saying “Well no one would ever go to the lengths Steve went to if they were just friends.” To which I say...why not? I’d walk through fire for any of my besties in a fucking heartbeat. Someone’s talking shit about my horribly tortured bestie and wanting to have them killed? Well fuck, time to take on the entire world government. My bestie went to war and got captured and may or may not be dead? Someone fucking hold my beer; time to conquer my fear of heights and parachute in to save that fucker. Kill my bestie or possibly let them kill me? Guess I’ll die, then. At the very least I’d have to try; I mean what the fuck kind of friend would I be if I didn’t at least try. That’s my bestie. That’s my family. There’s not fucking much I wouldn’t do for any one of those assholes. And that’s. fucking. okay. There’s nothing wrong with that.
And honestly this doesn’t just apply to the Stucky ship. The same thing goes for Clintasha and Romanogers; just because two people are affectionate towards each other doesn’t mean they have to be dating. (Excluding Stony from this because really are they ever all that affectionate towards each other?)
I remember seeing a post about how men always count on women for emotional support in relationships, but women often don’t do the same because they have their girl friends. And everyone was going on about how shitty that was and how men don’t even realize what friendship is supposed to be, and that they don’t need to be in a relationship to expect emotional support. And I was sitting there reading that like “and yet whenever society is faced with a male friendship that includes affection and emotional support, people invariably, loudly, and in most cases viciously, begin insisting that they are/should be a couple.”
Tumblr media
Now, of course I’m not saying that you can’t ship things that aren’t canon; that’s just a dumb idea. Shipping is wonderful. It’s the rabid, near-militant response I get when I say I don’t like the ship that I’m getting damn near tired of. It’s like I say I don’t like it and suddenly I’m accused of being homophobic, stupid for not seeing what’s right in front of me, or just a general bitch. No, I just don’t ship it, and I think that affectionate and supportive male friendships should be recognized and celebrated, not automatically turned romantic.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Have a nice day!

Why do you ship Romanogers? What do you see that makes you go "yes these two people work great as a couple"? What are their commonalities? How are they compatable? Basically, what makes Steve and Nat — in your opinion — tick as a couple?
I love this question. Now that I’ve narrowed it down to just a few answers, allow me to expose my heart.
(I’d like to just say that I will never ship Steve or Nat with anyone but each other. I respect everyone else’s ships, but these two are madly in love with each other, so please don’t take that away from me. )
Although the way they became Avengers is very different, Steve and Nat feel a passion because they understand each other. They both suffered loss over and over. They are both misunderstood. They are both strategic and strong. They are not the same, but they are not so different; they are compatible. Again, they understand each other.
Also, in TWS, we see just how their relationship changes for the better. Nat finally is able to trust someone. And Steve finally feels a real connection to someone. That movie was just a build up to how much they understand each other. I won’t go into too many details because it’s late, and honestly, that movie was just Romanogers. (Not saying that the MCU is law either.)
In the film Ultimate Avengers, we see a Steve that is very similar to our lovely MCU Steve: a great soldier, a good man, but a man out of place and time. He is suffering. He continuously puts himself in danger because he thinks he never should have been found. BUT he finds a place in the end, with Natasha, a strong, smart badass woman who helps him see that he does have a place in this new world: WITH HER!! (and the Avengers)
Back to the MCU, they spend years together trusting each other with their lives when they were “in hiding”. She knows deep down that he is her home, so she ends up looking for him.
The soldier and the spy fell in love, ok?

ENDGAME SPOILERS and Peggy Carter.
SERIOUSLY. ENDGAME SPOILERS BELOW. DO NOT WATCH IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN ALL OF ENDGAME. (Also spoilers for both seasons of Agent Carter, as if anyone cares about that lil’ show.)
Thesis statement: I’m not sold on Steve/Peggy as told in Endgame.
QUICK PRELIMINARY NOTE: All of what I’m going to say pertains to these characters strictly as their characters have been set up by the MCU films. I’m not familiar with the comics, and therefore all the different comics storylines for the characters don’t factor into my understanding of these people.
Let me begin by saying that I have no personal stake in the movie-canonization of Stucky. I know that probably makes me a bad queer MCU fan, but I can’t help it. I say this because I’ve observed that some of the hate toward Endgame centers around “I didn’t get my Stucky ending! Cowardly, homophobe-pandering Marvel!” and while I both like shipping Stucky in fanfic and sympathize with where the Stucky-stans coming from, I just don’t share the sentiment.
Let me also say that I like Steggy, with caveats. What do I mean by that? I mean that I loved and appreciated their relationship in CA:TFA, but don’t think that a marriage between them would have worked. I feel about Steggy the same way I feel about Romanogers: I see both pairs as great lifelong friends, and absolutely kickass working partners, but not necessarily as happy domestic partnerships. While Nat’s entire personal code is different from Steve’s, Peggy is too like Steve in her combination of mastery and stubbornness. So, while I do ship Steggy, I do not necessarily ship Steggy-as-Endgame.
And, perhaps most importantly of all, I like Peggy Carter herself; I consider myself something of a Peggy Carter fan. And the reason I’m so neutral on Steggy-as-Endgame is precisely because I like and respect Peggy. See, some of the Peggy stans around here dislike Steggy-as-Endgame because it robs Peggy of narrative agency. See, in the original timeline, Peggy eventually had a husband - who wasn’t Steve. I know that there weren’t a lot of people who watched Agent Carter, but I did, and Season 1 ended with . . . well, with Peggy closing the door on the romance-with-Steve chapter of her life.
Tumblr media
We even got a hint of who her eventual husband might have been in Season 2. (You dozen other people who watched the show: Remember Daniel Sousa?)
Tumblr media
And Steggy-as-Endgame snatches all of this away from her.
I say all this because I’ve seen an accusation that people who don’t like Steggy-as-Endgame simply resent and disrespect Peggy for ‘breaking up my Stucky ship,’ which is manifestly not the case.
And okay: this next point adds another layer of Nuance (ugh), but think about the long-term emotional implications of this version of Steve going back in time and living with Peggy. Either he would try to hide his extra decade of 21st century life from her, which she’d see through, or he might try to tell her about it, which she probably wouldn’t believe, both of which would lead to eventual distance and even estrangement. And either way, a Steve with all the experiences and memories of time-traveled-Steve would himself be too changed to easily return to the same emotional rapport with Peggy that he had before going under the ice - again, I imagine eventual estrangement or at best a growing distance.
In other words, as emotionally riveting as that last Steggy dance scene was in the film, and as blissfully as CGI-old-Steve may have said “It was beautiful” about his life with Peggy . . . I just don’t see Steggy-as-Endgame ending happily.
Now I do realize that one of Endgame’s most prominent themes was that of ‘we don’t move on.’ I realize that the long-term confirmation of Steggy was an important motif within this theme (on my second viewing of Endgame, I noticed the near-constant cinematic attention that the film kept drawing to Steggy). However, I don’t necessarily think that, for the characters of Peggy and Steve, this version of their story was the best outcome for them. In short, I think that the characters of both Peggy and Steve were sacrificed on the altar of the ‘we don’t move on’ theme that drove Endgame.
Now I’ve mentioned Bucky before, but I do also want to say that, as Steve’s friend, I’m not sure why Messrs. Markus and McFeely saw fit to keep him separated from Steve. If Steve was going to return to the ‘40s, why would Bucky not return with him? The Steve-Bucky friendship was one of the most hyped-up motifs of the MCU - by previous Russo films! (”I’m with you to the end of the line - oh wait, I’m actually not!”) Why couldn’t they decently finish off one of their own themes?
And yeah, okay, you can argue that Bucky going back to the ‘40s creates a plot-hole because ‘Bucky-in-secret-HYDRA-captivity and post-torture-time-traveled Bucky in the same decades!’ but that sort of applies to Steve too - like, how did time-traveled-Steve explain to Peggy, and the rest of the world, how he got off that doomed plane??
To clarify: I loved almost everything else about Endgame. The “oh-so-cringe feminist moments,” the going-out-with-a-bang end of Tony’s hero arc, the incredible journey of Nebula in particular, the emotional highs of the Great Battle, the Avengers-passing-the-torch motif - I’m not kidding, I really loved most of the film. I just didn’t love the way that Peggy and Steve (and Bucky) got sacrificed for Overall Movie Theme-ing (theming?).
And I feel like that’s subpar theme-ing.

U said send u a ship and you'd analyze it in your recent reblog, so: Clintasha?
I suppose you mean this, if not, don't hesitate to ask again!
Thank you!
when I started shipping it if I did: around 2013/2014, before I even knew the MCU, but I did know a few comics
my thoughts: being one of my long term ships (there are just a few ones - maybe three? - I ship longer than Clintasha), I love them so very much, even if they never became canon in the MCU (and they both deserved better in their storylines), but since we instead got a wonderful friendship, I'm happy with that, too. I mean, that's what fanwork is for, right? Letting the original writers live, but write/create your own fanon 🤷🏻‍♀️
What makes me happy about them: that they can be literally everything from friends to married for ten years and it would all makes sense character wise and how good they work together
What makes me sad about them: how much hate those who ship them romantically receive and that none of them got a happy ending
things done in fanfic that annoys me: one of them being totally useless without the other. They are both lethal, on their own as well as together. Their strengths and deadlines don't depend on the other person
things I look for in fanfic: just happiness, tbh. It doesn't really matter, if they end up together, as long as both live and no one dies (Endgame, looking at you). But I especially love fanfics taking place in their SHIELD days. Good writing and characterization, too (but I now how hard both can be)
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I think both of them don't need a romantic partner at all costs. Bobbi Morse (Mockingbird, a total badass) would be a cool partner for Clint in the MCU as well. For Nat, I ship Romanogers and Winterwidow, but Maria Hill would be very cool, too.
My happily ever after for them: somewhere far away from havoc wreaking villains, sitting on a porch with a blanket while sipping their drinks, eating pizza and watching Lucky and Liho play (read: almost kill each other and then cuddle with the humans)
who is the big spoon/little spoon: I'm not sure if they are cuddles, but I'd say this isn't set in stone, like they "switch" places
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: besides kicking ass, they love the downtime they get to spend on their own without orders
Send in other ships or characters, I usually don't bite ^^

After watching Infinity War and considering all the relationships and dynamics between characters, I've concluded that Marvel really did the Black Widow injustice by not pairing her with Captain America.
But first, I will admit that I am equally both a Buckynat and a Romanogers shipper. I know how Widow's romance in the comics goes but I also enjoy her developed relationship with Cap in the films. Now, I am absolutely fine if Black Widow ends up with Bucky (somehow) by the end of Avengers 4 since I do ship them in the comics. And I am also perfectly fine if she ends up (somehow) with Cap. I think for people who only watch the films, Buckynat might seem out of nowhere whereas Cap would make sense given how their relationship has developed in the MCU. Again, I am perfectly fine with either route.
But in terms of what I have seen in the films, it was terribly wrong for Whedon to pair Nat with Bruce and not let CapWidow run. I completely understand where he was trying to go with it but it was poorly executed and developed. The idea wasn't that bad (if very random) but not the execution. And now we have to waste precious screentime fixing the BruceNat issue and resolving something that would never come to be. I'm the kind of person who usually ships pairings based on how I've seen their relationship developed on the screen. And I usually consider the books/comics as separate verses from the film works. So if Person A is paired with B instead of C in the film then okay their relationship is developing into a romance. I see the flower blooming and I know it'll be a beautiful blossom. But if Person A is paired with C in the books/comics then I tend to ship that pairing in that respective universe.
And, as much as Scarlett Johansson has said that she doesn't see a romance between Widow and Cap, I think it would have turned out better than BruceNat. You have two people who are almost polar opposites and yet they somehow end up as the working mom and working dad of the group. There is a deep friendship that's rooted between them and their dynamic is so fascinating. Here is America's golden boy whose morals are clear as day versus a morally ambiguous spy and both ultimately want what's good for everyone but take differing approaches. How interesting is that?
Now, I know Steve has a thing with Sharon Carter both in the comics and now in the MCU but the only reason I couldn't find myself shipping them in the MCU together is because they were suddenly together with hardly any development at all. They went from "hi neighbor" to smooching. Of course, they obviously had some development off screen, nowhere to be seen or found but we're to assume they've been seeing each other in the years between film events. Even so, Tony and Pepper have more development and their romance gets mentioned at least once in almost every film, regardless if Pepper is present or not. They had a slow burn romance that turned out successful due to the chemistry and great acting. On the other hand, we also have Vision & Wanda who didn't have as slow of a romance but they made it obvious from the get-go that the two have a thing for each other. You also have Gamora & Starlord as another successful pairing with the two of them (sort of) opposites of each other in many ways. It started out with two people distrusting of each other but thrust into a situation where they must work together for the greater good. From there, Gamora and Peter develop a bond of love, friendship and trust.
Romanogers has all of these aspects. The only difference is that they are only friends and nothing more. Which, to be honest, I kind of like. So I am sort of conflicted on whether of not I want there to be romance or keep CapWidow as just friends because I like that they have a love for each other but it's also a platonic love and respect. BUT, if I had to choose, I would choose the romance without a doubt. I keep remembering what Patty Jenkins once said about Diana's romance with Steve Trevor. No person should have to be an island. And I've always thought that Natasha deserved someone who fully trusted her and treated her with respect and as an equal. Bruce definitely respects her and, I think, loves her (?) but trust is still an issue between them. Especially considering she tricked him to summon the Hulk (but with good reason). And, based on the rate of events of Infinity War, I don't think there's any time for them to mend their romance AND establish a full trust between them. But I really want Natasha to be with someone. To have a partner she can enjoy her life with and not just a business partner or good pal. She deserves a romantic love just like all her other teammates. I also really hope that, when everything is done and over with, someone uses the Infinity Stone(s) to fix Nat's sterilization. But I doubt that will happen.
I like the way Steve and Nat's relationship has developed on the screen and, although I like how it's platonic, I believe Nat deserves a proper romance. I don't want it to end with Nat not ending up with anybody and, well, we also know BruceNat is pretty much dead given the poor reception. Nat shouldn't have to end up with no one. It is not fair to her character considering almost every other male hero on the team has had some sort of official romance (terribly written or not). She is already incapable of having children, what more do you want to take from her? I would be fine with Nat ending up with Bucky but I was disappointed to see in Infinity War that she doesn't have any semblance of development. No development of herself, or her own arc, or with anyone. Even BruceNat doesn't get any development nor an official goodbye. However, she does remain a constant with Steve, of course. No surprise there.
So, again, I'm just shipping it the way I've been seeing it on the screen. Steve and Natasha's relationship in the MCU has all the ingredients you need for a flavorful and proper romance. Tell me, if they did wind up kissing at the end of it all, would you be surprised? Would you think, 'what the hell, that came out of nowhere!' ? Would it be as random or out of the blue as BruceNat was? Sorry, I don't hate BruceNat at all, by the way. I simply don't ship it. Don't hate but don't ship it.
I will be incredibly upset if Natasha ends up with no one. What, she can't have children AND a proper romance with someone? Screw that. She has worked her ass off, expecting nothing in return. Gamora was taken and raised to be an assassin, constantly surrounded by enemies, so she really cherishes the family she has with the Guardians. And she also cherishes the love she has with Peter Quill.
Natasha Romanoff deserves to have that void filled in too. She deserves better. Perhaps the writers think it would degrade her character to give her a 2nd love interest (especially after BruceNat failed) but it doesn't work like that. It's been years already since the events of BruceNat so it wouldn't be awkward if Nat has her eyes on someone else by now. And giving a powerful female character a love interest does not make her any less of a powerful female character. Even badass General Okoye has a lover (although their relationship status is currently complicated atm).
Natasha Romanoff deserves better.

How about favourite captain America movies scenes?
WELL YOU ASKED FOR IT PAL.
The First Avenger
-Steve at the movie theater, telling that douche to shut up and getting his little ass kicked for his trouble. Oh, Steve. Goddammit, Steve. You are too pure and good and wonderful for all of us. I like that it’s both a good quality trait and a weakness for Steve that he can’t abide bullies and he’ll stand up to anyone even if all it means is he’ll just get the stuffing beaten out of him. Plus, Bucky stepping up to help his idiot best friend is so heartwarming it’s insane. I love that Bucky is just fucking used to Steve getting himself beaten up because he stands up to shitty men. That’s best friends for you.
-Peggy punching the bejeezus out of Whatshisface in the troops’ first scene together. Oh, dear Lord. Where do I start? First, her telling him to step forward. Second, the completely placid look before she does it. Third, the fact that she puts his bitch ass on the ground no trouble. Fourth, Steve’s appreciative smile. Fifth, the General not even blinking that she flattened that douche. It’s just brilliant.
-Steve jumping on the grenade. Standing ovation. Steve is too good and too pure a cinnamon roll for any of us.
- “Not a perfect soldier, but a good man.” This is the heart and soul of Captain America and Steve Rogers and I cannot stress enough how this is honestly probably my favorite scene of the movie. We follow this guy not because of the strength of his body, but the strength of his heart. Steve has all the heart.
-Bucky and Steve being reunited. The best bros just knock it out of the park.
-Peggy’s reaction to Steve returning with all the captured soldiers. Seriously, it is the most NC-17 thing I’ve ever seen in a PG-13 movie. That smile Steve gives her and the smile she gives him right back is 100% code for “if we weren’t in the middle of this camp right now, I would tear your clothes off and fuck you to Jupiter and back.” It’s such a pure, awesome moment of sexual tension, and it’s done in such a classy way. I love that scene to death. They eye-fucked the shit out of each other and I adore the overwhelming yet subtle acknowledgement of what’s going on between them.
-Steve having a picture of Peggy in his pocket watch, and the fact that Peggy sees this during the little film montage. I want to scream. I LOVED the General giving her an amused side eye but not actually saying anything. It was a wonderful little nod to Steve’s reciprocated feelings for her.
-Steve and Peggy’s kiss. Whyyyyyyyyyyy, Lord? Whyyyyyyyyyy? Why didn’t they get more time together?! They were so fucking cute and I know if they’d have gotten together, it’d have been amazing and wonderful and they would have been so happy. Dammit.
The Winter Soldier
Disclaimer: Legit, The Winter Soldier is arguably one of the best comic book movies ever made and it is taking so much restraint for me not to list the entire goddamn film as my favorite scene, because I love it from end to end. Gun to my head, I’d say my Top 3 MCU films would be this, Ragnarok, and either Avengers 1 or Avengers 3. It’s really hard to pick out scenes in a perfect movie.
-Sam and Steve’s introduction to each other. The sheer chemistry here is stellar. I was in stitches that Steve Rogers was just okay with teasing a total fucking stranger for no reason other than just lolz. I love that TWS starts out reminding us that Steve isn’t some humorless do gooder. He has a great sense of humor and he’s just a friendly guy in general, so they couldn’t have picked a better scenario to introduce their dynamic. I adore that opening scene, man.
-Taking back the ship. Fuck, dude. Talk about one of the best executed action scenes in the MCU. Everything from Cap racing around just laying those fucking dudes out on his own to Nat popping in to the absolutely genius execution of Cap vs. Batroc. Oh, if a film scene could get me pregnant, it’d be that one, man. I fucking love that entire damn sequence.
-Nick Fury vs. Hydra. I appreciate this simply because we saw some badass Nick Fury in Avengers, but this was a delightful addition to remind us that the man is the head of SHIELD for a reason. He is NOT to be fucked with. He is a very capable agent and held his own and it was awesome.
-The elevator fight scene. ‘Nuff said.
-Natasha confronting Steve with the flash drive. So this was the first moment where I knew I was going to ship Captasha/Romanogers until the end of time, regardless of the canon. I loved this interaction. Steve is frustrated and suspicious, and so is Nat, but they both find a common ground and realize neither one is actually the enemy. I especially love: “Bye bye, bikinis.” “Yeah, I bet you look terrible in ‘em now.” That snark tho. Cap is flawless, and there is a healthy dollop of sexual tension delightfully overlaid with this scene of him backing her up against a wall and then her showing some skin. Yas lawd.
-Steve and Nat undercover at the mall. Not only is it just funny as hell and delightfully awkward, but it really shows off the great chemistry between the two of them. You’d think that with them being polar opposites that they’d butt heads, but they actually just complement each other extremely fucking well. Then there’s the exquisite escalator kiss. I mean, mm, did that look yummy. Even Steve comes out of it like, “well, damn.”
-The car conversation on the way to Jersey. I think that I would’ve only liked this movie, not loved it, if Nat hadn’t been there. I think Nat’s presence is what helped make this one of the MCU’s best films period. The honesty between them as they have probably one of their first real conversations getting to know each other is amazing. I adore this scene. I adore seeing them bond. “That’s a tough way to live.” “Good way not to die, though.” I think that is one of the best lines in the whole MCU, personally.
-Recovering at Sam’s place. First off, the two of them sharing the guest room and bathroom says a whole lot of shit right there. It’s an implied intimacy. Then Cap walking over and just knowing in his gut that Nat isn’t okay, and just gently, gently asking her what’s wrong is so important to both of their characters. You get to see them go from coworkers to friends and from friends to good friends in such an amazingly short period of time that it’s so heartwarming. Evans and Johansson have worked on several films together, and this is definitely one of those things where they just play off each other so well from being friends in real life. I love the inflections. I love the close up on their expressions. I love how Steve is able to get Nat to lower her walls and just talk to him about how she’s feeling, and how she sincerely thanks him, and how she’s even a little scared when she asks “if it were down to me to save your life, and you be honest with me, would you trust me to do it?” and Steve emphatically answers, “I would now” and then smiles at her so sweetly and makes a little joke. I just…my heart, man. My heart. Steve and Nat’s relationship is possibly my favorite out of all the Avengers, and I should note that Chris Evans ships it and I am really happy about that fact.
-The Winter Soldier’s attack. Flawless. This fucking sequence is flawless. Getting to see everyone’s skills on display, and then capped with the emotional realization from Steve that his best friend is not only alive, but has been brainwashed and is trying to kill them, is just so great. Huge, huge kudos to Evans, Stan, Mackie, and Johansson as well as their stunt team and the choreographers, because it’s some of the most gorgeous, polished action I’ve ever laid eyes on. Especially Evans and Stan’s fight. Wow, that could not have been easy and it’s all them when there are close ups during the knife fight. I really appreciate them going HAM on that shit. It turned out beautifully.
-“But I knew him.” Yep. Let me die. Just let me die. Poor tortured Bucky’s memories surfacing at the sight of his best friend saying his name just tears me up inside. Ugh. Bury me.
-Cap remembering Bucky’s words after his mother’s funeral. Bury me again.
-Cap’s speech to SHIELD after they arrive at the HQ. Hnnnnnnngh. I would die for Steve Rogers. Without question. This speech is why. He knows that he might die trying to stop Hydra, but he gives those people the choice to do what’s right at great cost, and he believes that they will do the right thing, and he’s absolutely right. I had mentioned years ago that this is why the DCEU’s current Superman has failed; that trait, believing in people despite evidence pointing to the opposite, is what make Cap and Superman two American icons. This is why we rally behind them as characters. Because they believe in us and they believe we are worth protecting. It’s a fucking shame the DCEU writers don’t understand that and have forced a decent actor like Henry Cavill to be a morose, joyless, brooding Superman, and don’t even try to tell me they “fixed” him in the JLA movie, because they retconned it and thought that did the trick, and they were wrong. What Cap said in that speech is precisely why he is as great a man as we’ve all come to love over the years. It’s nothing short of incredible.
-The entire ending helicarrier sequence. Good to the last fucking drop, man. Everything about it is flawless. Especially “You’re my mission!” “Then finish it. ‘Cause I’m with you ‘til the end of the line.” Cue me screaming and crying and clawing down my curtains. Bucky pulling Steve from the river turns me into an absolute wreck of emotions.
Civil War
-Cap consoling Wanda after the bullshit news report. Man, fuck the whole ass world for that reaction, by the way. Wanda saved that entire marketplace full of people, but she still got blamed for intervening anyway, and we know Crossbones would’ve killed countless people if they hadn’t stopped him, so you can all fuck off. But what I really like about this scene is Cap’s almost fatherly concern for her, knowing she was still recovering from the pain of losing her twin brother not too long ago. He understands the loss and the pain she feels and knows that she has doubts about herself and he’s there to assure her he doesn’t blame her, if that is any consolation. Cap is so conscious of her needs and emotions that it’s extremely touching to see, even though the scene is brief.
-The team going over the Accords and choosing sides. This was very well done, as everyone’s reactions are very interesting. I personally don’t see how the hell anyone could be Team Iron Man, but that’s just me. I at least like that Tony’s actions are justified in that he has been trying so hard this whole time to do the right thing, but it feels like the harder he tries, the more awful things become until he’s left with no good choices at all. I feel for him. So much. I feel for Cap as well knowing that about Tony and yet being unyielding in his feelings about the Accords.
-Nat comforting Steve at Peggy’s funeral. Cue gross sobbing. Damn, this is why I ship Captasha so hard. She tells him that she’s pretty much going along with the Accords for the sake of keeping their little family together if possible, and Steve sadly tells her he can’t do it, but she already knows, and she’s just there to support him. That’s love. You can debate if it’s platonic or romantic, but that scene is just pure love between Nat and Steve. She is there for no other reason than to hug her friend and check on him and make sure he knows he is not alone in this awful time in his life. It’s by far one of the most touching scenes in the entire MCU.
-The death of T’Chaka. Oh my God. Give Chadwick Boseman all the awards. How did we become that emotionally attached to him in such a short amount of time? Wow. I mean, wow, was that powerfully acted.
-Nat warning Steve not to intervene. Again, you can’t tell me these two people don’t love each other. She’s so worried about him, and even Sam acknowledges that she’s not wrong to want them to stay out of it since they’ll now get arrested.
-Everyone chasing after Bucky. Hnnnnnngh, yes please, this shit was awesome. Especially Cap and T’Challa racing over moving fucking cars and Bucky snatching that motorcycle mid-air. I love that scene with all my heart and soul.
-”So, you like cats?”
-Bucky’s escape. Seriously, the Winter Soldier is not to be trifled with. Holy hell, does he put everyone through their paces.
-Tony recruiting Peter Parker. And now we have it, the shining crown jewel of Tony Stark’s development as a character, in the form of a tiny adorable baby he adopts to fight a ninety year old veteran. I know, right? I never expected that Tony recruiting Parker would be anything like what we got and yet it’s by far one of my favorite relationships in the MCU. It’s so genuinely cute and sweet and the word choice during that scene in Parker’s room is very important from a character standpoint. “When you can do what I can do, but you don’t, and then the bad things happen…they happen because of you.” Without saying it out loud, they were able to convey what happened to Uncle Ben, and that’s really good storytelling, man. You see this kid is hurt and blames himself and he will do anything to make up for his sins. Tony is even touched by it. Plus, the humor in that scene is awesome and it’s so warm and evident that RDJ and Tom Holland really got along and had chemistry.
-Recruiting Scott Lang. It’s so brief, but that fucking scene puts me in stitches every time, especially Paul Rudd’s improv of grabbing Chris Evans’ shoulders when he sees just how goddamn built and cut the man is. I thought that was genius. It’s so perfect.
-”Can you move your seat up?” “No.”
-The airport fight scene. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. This is so good. For so many reasons. How it’s staged. How it starts off quiet and it slowly builds tension. How Tony is so hurt that Cap appears to be choosing Bucky over him, how Cap is protecting him, how Tony absolutely doesn’t want to fight his friend and yet they are on opposite sides anyway. “You’re gonna come with us because it’s us.” The utter desperation in Tony’s eyes when he almost begs Cap to turn himself in is so heartbreaking. It kills me, man. Emotions aside, I simply love all the fights and the various match ups. Especially Spidey versus Bucky and Sam (”Couldn’t you have done that earlier?” “I hate you.”) and Spidey versus Cap (”That thing does not obey that laws of physics at all!”) and Spidey versus Ant Man. It’s all so glorious.
-Nat stopping T’Challa from getting to Bucky and Steve. It’s raining on my face. “You’re not gonna stop.” “You know I can’t.” “I’m gonna regret this. Go.” It’s so important. It’s so important, y’all. Nat chose Steve when it mattered most and I ship them until my dying breath.
-“Vengeance has consumed you. It is consuming them.” All the awards, Chadwick. All the motherfucking awards.
-The final scene of Steve walking up to Sam’s cell. There’s just something about the playful confidence and determination in his expression that despite how sad the ending is that Tony and Cap are no longer on speaking terms that it gives you just a tiny flicker of hope that maybe things will be okay for Team Cap.
Well, there you go. Cap and Thor are currently tied for the top spot in my heart of Favorite Avenger, hence all the word vomit. Sorry, not sorry.

Hi Skyeward Tag
So, like, it is a unique kind of hell to finally come to peace with how much I love SkyeWard after three years of running from some sad emotions and weird Fandom Politics(TM). It’s also sort of tricky because while AOS is still ongoing, the initial fervor for SkyeWard seemed pretty effectively squashed among people I followed for AOS back in, like, S2. Recently, my best friend and some nostalgia have dragged me down a rabbit hole, and I am really enjoying myself while hating it. It kind of seems like SkyeWard fandom never died but that it sort of went underground, but upon learning that the Framework arc was even a thing I decided I needed to rewatch AOS and suffer so that I can eventually see this and also suffer.
Tumblr media
I’m making this post in an effort to create a sort of follower train thing for those of us who are still around and want people to tag. It sucks getting really into something and finding yourself in an empty echo chamber, and I’ve seen @celticheartedfangirl making her posts about watching Agents of SHIELD unspoiled for the first time and maybe being interested in the ship. I wondered if maybe some others could rally out of the woodwork so that we can hang out and tag each other in things. Networks are also so 2014 but this is just an informal follower train thing if anyone will pick it up to help gain traction. Below I’m gonna put a little form for myself, and you can reblog the post and copy/paste/edit it to your liking so that we can make acquaintance for the purposes of tagging whether or not we follow-back.
Blank Version of Form Under the Read More.
Agents of SHIELD
I have seen through: I think I stopped watching actively toward the end of Season 2. I was sad about some of the narrative decisions being made in the show, and I was just exhausted by the shifts in several fandom climates of the time. I always meant to go back to it, but then I would get discouraged. However, recently realizations about my own likes and dislikes, nostalgia, and my best friend watching the series again have drawn me back in. I want to see the Framework arc, and I watched the first episode of Season 5 on a whim with my best friend.
Am I still watching? Yes* | No *Sort of but I’m actually rewatching.
Favorite Character Other than Skye|Daisy or Ward: Probably Jemma.
Other Ships: FitzSimmons. I am passively interested in Coulson/May. Skimmons from time to time. I used to kind of ship Skye and Mike Peterson because Skye would have been the greatest step-mom in the world and J. August Richards is attractive, but SkyeWard is my favorite ship for her.
A favorite moment/episode: I am chomping at the bit to watch the Framework arc. Honestly, the Captain America: The Winter Soldier tie-in arc is still amazing to me even if I’m disappointed about the way canon followed it up with regard to these two characters. It’s so well-acted and interesting. I also had somehow never scene 1x03 before and I think the part where Ward is teaching Skye to take a gun from someone is hilarious. “I’m a proper southern girl...” Please help.
Anything else: I’m a big fan of both canon-compliance and canon-divergent AUs. I occasionally produce fanwork and feel the itch that I might for this ship when I cautiously avoided it in the past.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
Do I also follow the MCU? Yes | No
Favorite MCU character(s): Gamora, Peter Quill, Steve Rogers, T’Challa
Favorite MCU movie(s): Guardians of the Galaxy Vols. 1 & 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther
Favorite MCU ship(s): Romanogers (Steve/Natasha); CATWS OT3 (Steve/Sam/Nat); Starmora (Peter Q./Gamora)
The Top 5 Other Fandoms I blog about lately are:
The Expanse - An excellent, diverse, beautiful science fiction show that everyone should check out. Recently saved from cancellation.
DCTV / Arrow - The CW DC properties. My favorite is Arrow, and I loosely follow the whole universe.
Star Wars - Honestly, I follow mostly Reylo, Finn(Rose), and Anidala content, but a general fan.
Doctor Who - I’m always into it. I haven’t quite finished every episode in the middle of S10 because I was in grad school when it was airing, so the lack of Bill content is not a lack of love, it’s a lack of knowing her as well as the others. I love all the companions a lot; you’ll never see companion-hate from me ever unless Thirteen’s companion is a jackwagon. Clara is my favorite because she is a small, bisexual, brunette teacher like me; she is my best self and bitter I cannot be her. I also like Thoschei/Twissy stuff and well honestly most things.
Shadowhunters - Maybe? Honestly this fifth spot is a toss-up and I provided it for clarity. I blog about a ton of other fandoms in a wild smattering, but I might do this one slightly more than the rest. I don’t care about Cassan/dra Cl/are except the fanlore.
Anything Else
I’m friendly, please talk to me. I’m a between-assignments English teacher. I want to produce fan content, but I wanted to know if there’s still, like, a community/audience before I get too psyched about it. Skye|Daisy is one of my favorite characters ever, and I love her very much with or without a ship. You can always blacklist anything I post that you don’t like; I tag everything. Even if you don’t follow me or anyone else who (fingers-crossed) participates in this, always feel free to tag me in related content. People are too antisocial on this blue website.
