“O-okay. So?”

“So?” Theo practically screams, his eyes growing crazed. “Don't you think you should be working on that? Do you know how easy it would be to manipulate you into doing whatever I wanted?”

Liam immediately lets go of him and, the second Liam's isn't holding on to him, Theo takes a second try at reaching for the window to leave but, again, Liam beats him to it and puts himself between him and his exit.

“Liam!” Theo’s voice is unrecognizable. It’s cold and mean and devoid of any of its usual barely concealed affection.

“W-what would you like me to do?” Liam says, more curious than actually asking for a task.

Theo blinks at him, mouth open, completely taken aback. “What?”

“What would you like me to do?” he repeats, more assertive.

“T-this is exactly what I mean,” Theo says but his voice is wobbly and hesitant at best as he looks around for a way out of this conversation (and probably out of the room).

Okay so I was rewatching 6x09 for reasons and somehow I must have missed the car scene after Liam and Theo escape the Sheriff’s station in my first two watches because this was new to me and fjfbnfksks. The way Theo’s fucking voice breaks on ‘Hide. That’s our only option.’ (Don’t come at me if it’s not an exact quote I’m at-work-posting, will fix later)

But. Fuck. Liam telling him they’re going to the hospital like two episodes after they showed us that whole montage in Bardo, the way he visibly loses his composure when Liam says they can hide there, the voice crack, just the look on his face. The fact Liam literally takes him down to the morgue he’s been crawling out of in his nightmare with Tara. The fact he goes, he stays, he still fights the Ghost Riders, he chooses to sacrifice himself to keep Liam from being taken, he manages to get out in order to go and save Liam again.

The symbolism.

Idk man I’m just obsessed with the stark parallels between smirky snarky over-confident liar liar pants on fire S5 Theo and this version of him that comes back who literally shows every emotion he’s feeling directly on his face and in his voice, who is obviously scared af a lot of the time, but still keeps showing up to save Liam.

Me and my friend were talking last night and she mentioned how the last scene we have of Liam at the zoo when he tries not to kill Nolan, we see that his hair is all messy and looks like it did in the gifs below (just before Theo knocks him out):

Compared to when we see him next which happens to be in Theo’s truck, his hair looks like this:

Idk about anyone else but we came to the conclusion that not only did Theo basically carry Liam to his truck, he put Liam into his seat and then he wiped the blood from his hands, put his hair back (hence the change in the hair from the fight to the car scene) and then I choose to believe that he kissed Liam’s forehead and then buckled him in and then went into the drivers seat to take him home. 🥹🤍
