Did you guys ever wonder when Liam first thought about Theo as his anchor?

“Think about Theo,” Corey’s voice is soft and a bit tired, “it’s okay, Liam, just think about him.”

“He is of average height and likes chocolate,” snaps Liam, “happy?”

Mason and Corey hold onto him from their respective sides, as if they are the ones drowning, and Liam is a lifebuoy. Their scents mix in the air.

“No, Liam,” Corey’s voice is stronger this time around, “think about Theo. Like you always wanted to, but never allowed yourself.”

And that…

That makes Liam’s eyes snap open. He is sure they are still gold and very far from human, but suddenly, he feels back on the ground, and his jeans are soaked, and his eyes sting a little bit. Horrified, he looks between his friends: Mason’s nod and Corey’s sour smile.

“It’s okay,” tells him Corey, and Liam knows just how far from okay it is, but nods, his throat tight. He shuts his eyes once again.

Four-eight-seven.

Sun-moon-truth.

Here's a present for @outcastpack bc I noticed it was his birthday and I jsut read this fic of his (The ghost of him) and was INSPIRED, so here ya go!

Just imagine a Fanfic that begins with Theo sitting at the counter of Liam's Ramen store after 15 years and telling him "hey Little Wolf"

Theo and Liam have not seen each other since Theo revealed his feelings toward Liam, he did it with twisted words that did not directly explicit an 'I love you' but were stronger and Liam did not understand them.

For 15 years Liam tried to understand them, to understand what Theo meant, but he could not and meanwhile he began to make a new life, a new love, moving on.

After the battle with the Nogitsune, Liam and Hikari returned to Japan, set up their store, put elbow grease into it.

And one late evening, just as Liam was closing the restaurant, a customer walks in.

Theo stands from the counter, looks at the menu, and when Liam comes in to say they are closed, Theo lowers the menu and smiles and says, "Hey Little Wolf, long time no see."

And Liam seeing his face, seeing Theo, he remembers that confession and finally can understand what Theo was talking about.

I cry just thinking about it!

He’s in a whirlwind. Caught between wanting to explore every possible angle of Theo and afraid to get too close to the darkest part of him, fearing he’s a lot more likely to never be able to come out of the shadows again. Not when his heart does somersaults over Theo being interested in everything that Liam says and does.
