Ele tentou ser didático e cordial, mas deixou claro meus desconhecimento e deslumbramento. "Não sei o que os gays querem. Cada homem gay quer uma coisa. Existe um grupo que pode gostar do meu trabalho". Me pediu pra ler sobre Stonewall, me deu caminhos pra descobrir a história do movimento gay. E completou: "Fazer parte de um grupo não nos certifica pra falar por ele. Precisamos estudar, pesquisar". Depois desse fora, encontramos por algumas temporadas de moda. Um dia, ele me abordou: "Acho legal o caminho que você tá fazendo. Foi interessante a forma como aceitou a crítica. Sem revidar, mostrando que não sabia, que queria descobrir". Quase rolou uma história. Mas sou ortodoxo, e o moço também era. Preferimos manter o trabalho acima de tudo. Nem sempre estamos assim, desarmados, pra aprender. Há poucos dias, reencontrei uma pessoa tão disposta pra descobertas quanto fui um dia.
