one word, nine letters
Isak is heading into the end of his second year at Nissen with his best friend Jonas by his side, and his trusty study buddy Sana helping him with his grades. He lives at home with his mother, Marianne, in a house that is too big for them. Isak's father left a couple of years ago in a drawn-out separation, and his sister Lea is at university in Germany. But he's fine with that. He takes care of his mother, and his mother takes care of him. They're both focused on school, since Marianne is a professor at the university and Isak is Isak. The only other thing of particular interest in his life is driving a car, since he'll be getting his license shortly after turning 18 in June. He drives Marianne around the city when she needs a chauffeur, and waits for her in parking lots while she runs errands.
That's where he first sees Even, in a parking lot, outside of a church. Even doesn't see him, but that doesn't really matter. Isak sees him first, and the search for a name, a friend, a story, begins.

One thing I haven't stopped thinking about is that scene where Ed and Stede dine and dash and we get that glimpse as they run off giggling. Because really, more than the hopeful reunion, the soft confessions, more than the anger and bitter jabs, that moment was a glimpse into who they'll be as a couple.
Just a couple of chaos gremlins doing whatever the fuck they want and giggling the whole time, because when they're together the rest of the world fades away, its just them and their silly little whims.

As a general rule I do not run for buses because they wait for no one and you might as well retain your dignity BUT I will in Seattle. This is the only city I've come across where the bus will actually wait for you if the bus driver sees you sprinting.

thinking about save rock and roll (the song) on her anniversary because pete has written a lot of impactful lyrics that i personally can relate to but there’s something about hearing “you are what you love not who loves you” at fourteen that changes your life in a way you wouldn’t believe. like my songs will always be the first song of theirs i ever heard and disloyal order will always be my favorite but save rock and roll is always going to be the song that saved my life

I love twin beds because they are easier to manage and tidy as well as not overtaking a bedroom but also because they are nice and small (claustrophile) and can only be comfortably slept in alone or completely squished up against whoever is in there with you which I think serves the extreme dichotomy I live by perfectly
