a/n: Ugghhh this took me a long time and I’m still not that happy with it...  I’ve been slowly losing steam, it’s probably bc of finals coming up and my grades and yeah...  Still!  I hope this crackity type thing makes you guys smile.  This is kiiind of a sequel to Sleepless? It happens in the same continuity/universe/timeline, think of it that way.

Also!  I have a few more requests and more originals from myself, but I have exams this week, so I possibly won’t be posting until after Wednesday, unless I decide to write that Bakugou hc request I just got to tide you guys over.

I didn’t use it very much, but gender neutral they/them pronouns here!

As soon as I stepped into the kitchen, all their eyes were on me.  Their silence is exactly what I expected, and I wanted nothing more than to disappear.  I try tilting my hat down so they can't see my face as I place the plastic bag on the table.  "Sorry I'm late, here's food. I'm gonna wash up-"

A hand comes down on my head and I gulp.

"What happened to your face?"

Dabi's voice lowering a whole octave and a half is the scariest thing in the world, change my mind.  "N-Nothing..."

"That's also not the jacket you left with earlier," Twice adds across from me.

Damnit, when did they get so perceptive?  I haven't been staying here for too long, I didn't think they would care about me other than when I go get their food and run other errands for them.

"(Y/n)," Kurogiri crosses his arms over his chest.  "Take the jacket and the hat off.  Now."

I can't refuse them when they're all piercing me with their murderous gazes like that.  They've been nice enough to keep me here, but they're still villains, I can't say they don't scare me in the slightest.  I'm deathly afraid of what might happen if they see what happened to me.  I slowly remove my jacket first, revealing a few scrapes and bruises on my arms.  When I'm met with silence, I remove my hat too, scrunching my eyes closed and preparing for the worst.

"What. Happened?"

I flinch at Dabi's harsh question, not having the courage to look up and look him in the eyes.

"Answer me, kid."

I pick at a scratch on my palms.  "I-I got caught up in an attack w-with the heroes.  I got a little-"

"A little what?!" Twice slams a hand down on the table and I jolt.  "Your face has a giant sore!  What hit you?!"

"Or who?" Dabi asks, hands clenched as his arms cross over his chest.

I back away, defensive about the whole situation.  "It wasn't on purpose.  They hit the ground and something went flying at my face-"

"You could've gotten hurt worse than that!" Dabi booms at me, stepping forward.  "Why didn't you block it in time?"

I feel myself getting smaller and smaller.  "I was running, and I heard someone screaming behind me, and I wasn't paying attention, that's all."

"Aw Dabi, you don't have to be so harsh," Toga wraps an arm around my quivering shoulders.  "You're being scary again, tone it down a notch."

"Yeah, stupid, you're going too OP on the yelling, no one wants to hear your mouth," Shigaraki pipes up, seemingly unbothered by the whole thing ad choosing to focus all his attention on his handheld console.

Dabi whirls onto him.  "What'd you say, Crusty?  How about you say it with your chest?"

Shigaraki stands up and gets in his face.  "I wonder what burnt chicken ashes tastes like-"

"Enough, you two!" Kurogiri booms out.  "There are more pressing matters than your pointless bickering."

"Yeah, our poor birdie (Y/n) got hurt," Toga rubs my face.  I wince when her finger brushes over the sore spot, but I don't want to push her away for fear she might do something to me.  "That's gonna leave a huge bruise for a few weeks."

"I'm gonna destroy whichever hero it was who caused it," Dabi returns back to me.  "Who was it?  Endeavor?  Best Jeanist?  One of those UA kids?"

"I don't know.  I didn't see them clearly," I squeak.  He's really gonna kill me now.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T SEE IT?"  Blue flames emerge from his palms.

"Hey, hey, take it down a few notches."  Twice wraps an arm around Dabi's shoulder and pats his arm.  "No need to act all tough."

"I'm sorry I got hurt, I'll be more careful next time."  The tears build up behind my eyes, but I try to hold them back.  I don't want to see what happens if I cry in front of them.

"Aw, look what you did," Twice exasperatedly motions to my bowed head.  "This is what happens when you're a tsundere hiding your feelings all the time."

"Come here, (Y/n)."  Kurogiri motions to the seat next to Shigaraki.  "Let me take care of your wounds."

"But," I blink back to clear my vision, "I deserved it, didn't I?"  Shouldn't I be in trouble now?

"Oh, shut up, stop being an emo," Toga pushes me toward the chair.

I end up seated at the bar, still constricting myself inward.  I'm not comfortable with anything going on, not to mention how perplexed I am.

Shigaraki spares a sideways glance at me before mashing at his buttons nonchalantly.  "That's one hell of a bruise, you're gonna look worse than me for a while."

I can't judge from his tone if he's insulting me, or trying to make a joke, or failing miserably at comforting me.

Kurogiri places a first aid kit on the counter.  "I'll do your face first."  He pulls out a few cotton swabs and a bottle solution.

Twice leans his arm on the counter on my other side.  "What's with that face, (Y/n)?  You look worried."

I pause for a moment before I look down at my feet.  "I'm waiting for you guys to do something to me."

The entire room freezes again and goes silent, sending me into another heart-racing mini panic.

Twice is the first to break the silence.  Even the soft hand he places on my shoulder makes me jumpy.  "I don't know how things were before you met us, or if that's the kind of impression we give," he shoots a look at Dabi, who just crosses his arms and looks away, "But that's not how we do things.  It was an honest mistake, how could you have known that would happen?  We're just concerned about if something bad happened to you."

I perk up at his words.  "You mean, I'm not just your lackey running your errands?  I'm not just an annoying kid you found on the street?"

"You make it sound like you're a stray cat or something," Shigaraki comments.  "Though, you are quiet and require a moderate amount of attention..."

"Of course you're not just a lackey, silly!  You're one of us!"  Toga's sweater pawed hands envelop my torso in a hug.  "Dabi's just being a meanie because he doesn't know how to show affection.  He should still apologize though."

"Yes, Dabi!" Twice adds with a flourish, "Apologize to my poor child!"  He grabs my head and forcefully pushes it into his hard chest.

Dabi sighs heavily, rubbing the back of his neck as the two stare at him expectantly.  "I shouldn't've yelled at you, kid.  I didn't know you'd be scared like that."

"It's fine."  It's weird being smothered by a group of housemates who might as well be strangers, but it blooms warmth into me somehow.

"Alright, you get first bite of the grub."  Twice eagerly opens up the bags of food and rips open one of the containers and disposable chopsticks to feed me.

Kurogiri gently blots at my face with his first aid supplies.  "Toga, stop wiggling, you're moving (Y/n)!"

Her grip around my waist doesn't loosen at all, her face snuggling into my back.  "Ey, Twice, it's no fair you get to feed (Y/n) first, I wanna do it!"

It's at this moment when I feel like Dabi and Shigaraki are the most normal ones out of all of them, until they start bickering over a container of noodles and start destroying things so Kurogiri needs to reprimand them again.  Even so, among all the prodding, squeezing, pulling, bickering, and smothering, I wonder if this is what family is supposed to feel like.

A secret smile only I can see quirks at my lips.  Nah, they're just weirdos.

BNHA role swap. The Villains are Yuuei Students: Shigaraki Tomura Edition

“I'm going to ignore the fact that Shigaraki would be called Shimura Tenko because I really don't like that name” this was my first thought and then a whole fanfic plot idea came out of it. 

Nana Shimura, after a night with her lover, accidentally got pregnant. This dude is foreign or a special agent, making it impossible for him to stay around. Nana and him spoke about abortion or giving the baby away. It was honestly the cleverest idea. However, Nana decided to have the baby as a single mom in the very last minute. She didn't tell him not to ruin his career... and well, mostly because it was against what they had arranged. (I actually hate this scenario, but I had to take the father out of the picture and that`s the only explanation it ocurred to me). 

Everything went fine because she had help from a lot of people to raise her kid (you can choose male or female, is not relevant to the story). Thanks to this, she could still continue with her job as, you know, world saviour. Nana`s child grew, fell in love, married and planned to have his/her own family quite fast (the next Shimura generation is simply a normal person. One who, although having a good quirk, never took an interest in following his/her mother`s steps). Here is when things got twisted. Nana had made a lot of enemies during her hero service years and the bad guy who hated her most, villain All Might, attempted to murder her offspring. The police and pro heroes arrived when he was torturing the pregnant woman. It was precisely Nana herself who ´saved` her daughter/ daughter-in-law. The doctors did all they could but unfortunately it was not enough to prevent her from dying. However, they were able to take the baby out. After a month of intensive care in the hospital, Tenko was like any other baby. Nana had no doubt this time, she could not keep him. That`s why handman is yet called Shigaraki Tomura in this au of mine. 

Kurogiri, a retired hero who used to work with the police, infiltrating in multiple crime gangs; became his legal tutor. In the present, Shigaraki is a 16-year-old hero wannabe and Nana is a still alive, kicking ass and quite young grandmother. Very few people know they are related, but Tomura is well aware of the whole story. The heroine tries to visit him as much as she can, taking extreme precaution measures. They get along very well. 

All this is like the background info, so the actual plot would start when Villain All Might`s successors (probably Deku and some other canon 1-A classmates) find out Shiggy`s existence and want to end him; to finish the job that got their master into prison. Maybe they try to recruit him to psychologically torture Nana... or directly try to kill him, not sure. Any way, they fail the first time, so the thing would be that now Tomura and some others who get stuck in the jambo mambo (probably the ones who canonly form the league of villains) have to survive on the run. 

Author Note: What do you think? (scratches the back of her neck) I would love to know your opinions. I am writing concrete headcanons now, so you get more info about other characters and how I imagine them in this parallel reality.  I am hoping to make a series out of this if I have enough time and inspiration. It is also a bit of a high school AU, to be honest. I've tried not to make it look like a soup opera but it sometimes just happens. I live for the tea.

Tomura would be this kid who never gets over his early adolescence emo phase: his hair is always covering his face, never shows the slightest amount of his pale skin and seems allergic to sunlight; wears hoodies on summer what the actual fuck; loves dark themes/topics and favourite colour is black, total edgelord, bitter sense of humor, MRC and BVB...

A videogame freak unable to open a book and study a bit. 

Watches anime because he is too lazy for the manga. 

Him as a student:

One of his teachers (All for one), for some reason, puts great trust on him, naming him class representative. 

Tomura is not amused. 

Complies to his duties, yes, but with extreme exasperation. 

AFO also believes Shigaraki has great potential as a hero. Insists on the idea that if he got better at fighting, with his quirk, he could disintegrate any dangerous weapon a villain had before they could hurt anyone. 

Moreover, this sensei affirms a Tomura in good shape would be impossible to escape as he is able to destroy any hiding place or possible obstacle someone tries to throw into the persecution. 

Considering all this, AFO stars training Shigaraki. 

Tomura is not giving much, tho. 

He is a bit depressed because he is sure he is never going to be like his grandmother. He passes all his courses with shameful results. He cannot find the motivation to make a bigger effort and just keeps going that way until... 

 a) he has a life changing experience when he disintegrates a broken building wall that was about to crush some kids. Tomura realises his quirk is very useful, actually perfect for rescue missions. 

b) Chisaki Kai arrives, transferred from Shiketsu. Contrary to Tomura, he is handsome, polite and with a quirk only destroying to create. He hates his guts. Although it seems to be one of the few people, if not the only one doing so. Kai is starting to become the yueei candidate for top class pro hero. Shigaraki does not like this a single bit. In his eyes, Chisaki is all a facade. Underneath that cool appearance he is just a weirdo prick with a superiority god complex. Tomura is not going to let someone like that enter the same category as Nana Shimura. That`s how he gets his act together (hate is a pure emotion, best fuel ever haha Nah, I am just a sucker for the Overhaul x Tomura relationship. Not in a shippy way, more like rivals). 

His hero costume:

Hasn't designed one yet. 

He starts thinking about it after the aforementioned epiphany. 

Interactions: 

Dabi is his best (probably only) friend, even if they are all the time bickering. He belongs to one of the most famous families in the hero society, him being the outcast. Tomura thinks of him as a total rebel without a cause. Despite his bad behaviour, Dabi has a natural talent that makes him one of the best at yuuei academy. 

The only thing Shiggy enjoys about being clas representative is the status it gives him. 

He cannot help but smile when he sees people who dislike him or would not talk to him in any other circumstance, be obliged to face him and treat him with great respect. 

Tomura gives a gay vibe and is popular with guys. 

Much to his disappointment because he is actually more into girls (I am saying “more” and not making him straight because my open minded multishipper ass always tends to give characters the possibility of discovering they are indeed bisexuals). 

Sadly for him, the only one who shows to have such interest is Toga Himiko, a first year unicorn lover, who is way too obsessed with him. 

Dabi, instead of helping him get rid of her (idk if you are aware of how ShigaToga is actually my favourite romantic ship for both of them BUT without the villainous context i can't see Tomura having the slightest interest on Himiko), encourages Toga and has lots of fun.

(Originally I wanted to only drop more headcanons once you posted my original submissions, but my headcanon pile is only getting longer by the seconds and it’s better to do it in batches… y'know)

ANYWAY, have some Very Important Narumitsu Wedding Headcanons!

* A lot of their friends expected a really big and impressive wedding ceremony because Phoenix is a romantic and Miles is a really fancy boy, but the wedding was actually pretty small because Edgeworth thinks big weddings are just gaudy

* the catering was still extremely high class

* And in spite of all his fussing about how this is all just a ridiculous ceremony and he’s totally just doing it because he knows how much it means for Wright, Miles sure spent a lot of times worrying over and micromanaging the wedding plans.

* Espacially the decorations.

* Miles’ Best Man was Detective Gumshoe. The same month as the wedding he gave Gumshoe a hefty bonus and very heavily hinted that he should use it to buy a decent suit so he could actually look presentable at the wedding.

* Later Nick came to Gumshoe and gave him the address to the very cheap shop where he bought his courtroom suit, said that way Gumshoe will have enough extra money left for himself.

* Gumshoe used that extra money to make custom-made suits to Missle and Pess (Pess’ included a carvat, of course). Nick groaned and face-palmed. But Gumshoe was sure that it was the best possibe use of the money.

* Gumshoe cried. So much in a wedding. He always cries at wedding, and this is Mr. Edgeworth’s wedding so he cried extra hard.

Miles: “For god’s sake, detective, stop being so sentimental.” Nick: “Edgeworth, this is your wedding.”

* Phoenix considered to let Larry be his Best Man on the sole grounds of him being his best male friend. Then he and Edgeworth thought it over for like a….second. And Phoenix decided he’s just gonna have Maya as his Best Woman\Maid of Honor. Everyone agreed that it was the best possible choice.

* Maya also summoned Mia for a brief time after the ceremony, because she and Nick thought Mia should see at least SOME of the wedding. Cue a very awkward conversation between her and a slightly drunk Edgeworth.

* “Okay, Trucy sweetie, now you have the most important job in the wedding. When it’s time for the speeches, I need you to use all of your magician skills to try and get auntie Franziska’s whip away from her. She kinda has to make a speech but we’re afraid she’s gonna go overboard and whip the audience.”

(Don’t worry, Phoenix picked Trucy because he knows Franziska isn’t gonna hurt her new niece if she’s caught)

* Even without the whip, Franziska’s wedding speech was a thing to behold.

* Larry’s wedding present was a very nice drawing of both of them, but also two checks for 38 dollars each.

Nick: THAT’S NOT FUNNY, LARRY! Maya: Well, I think it’s a LITTLE funny Miles (With the smugest fucking grin he ever had and that’s saying a lot): You shouldn’t take this so seriously, Wright. And also, when you think about that, if Larry hasn’t stolen my lunch money that day, we probably wouldn’t be here today. Nick: I…I guess you’re right.

* Phoenix Wright’s Mysterious Probably-Just-too-Boring-to-be-Mentioned Parents almost made an appreance but cancelled at the last moment because they were sick or something boring like that.

* Phoenix starts complaining about that and then remembers his groom and also pretty much all of his friends don’t have parents at all and this is awkward

* I’ve seen a lot of fanart with the rings where they each have the ring designed after themselves, but I like the idea that they each wear the ring with the other’s color scheme, it’s very important to me.

* Maggey Byrde worked for the catering because that way this wedding fulfils every Ace Attorney requirement for a murder to happen   (heh I hope I didn’t get anything wrong, I’m jewish and only know how generic Westren\Christian weddings go from pop culture osmosis)

Actually here’s some extra headcanons to anyone who might headcanon one or both of Japanifornia’s fav gay lawyers as Jewish

* Raymond Shields\Tateyuki Shigaraki and Franziska von Karma fought over which of them is actually Miles’ oldest living relative (and therefore will accompany him to the Chuppah instead of his parents) and Ray lost

* I mean the fact he actually put up a fight was impressive

* Miles tried to ignore that ridiculous argument at first, but eventually he intervened and said they are accompanying him togather and that’s FINAL.

* Because Phoenix’s mysteriously unimportant parents couldn’t make it, Maya channaled Mia and she accompanied Nick to the Chuppah
