Dear Philippine Army (PA), and also the rest of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP): Please exclude “The Wayback Machine (TWM)” Website from your Firewalls, this is so your Documents, Web Pages, etc. can be backed up there also.

Currently, because of your Website Settings, whenever I try to back up a Page or Document at TWM, it is being blocked. TWM is a non-Profit, Digital Archive Website which aims to back up as much of the Internet as possible for future Generations to see and access, so I hope you allow it to archive the Public Information that you share also.

without saying what I do exactly other than web admin work…….the site I/we have a problem with is TheWayBackMachine. As of writing this they just lost a court case about copying books and how that’s illegal. I believe their archival of sites should also be illegal especially due to the fact of them doing so without express written permission from the sites owners/copyright owners, etc.

Not only is it a copyright issue, it’s a privacy & safety issue as well.

when I was 14 I got like 1000 followers in like the Yuri on ice fandom and literally having so many followers made me so nervous i ended up just deleting the blog. but I missed tumblr so some months later I just made a new blog, q-cumb3r, (it was initially supposed to be qt-cumb3r), in 2017

Kalle och Chokladfabriken (1983):

Above are some shots from the 1983 TV series Kalle och Chokladfabriken. Narrated by Ernst-Hugo Järegard and produced by SVT and Lars Sjörgen (IMDB). Unfortunately, the majority of this show is lost media and was not archived by TheWayBackMachine and has been removed from SVT and other Swedish streaming/purchasing sites.

Originally a channel called Erikbe99 (I believe it was them, although it could be another that's now deleted) posted the entire series on YouTube, yet it has now been removed, neither archived. Only three video clips remain of the show which is the intro, outro and The Television Chocolate Room scene. There was the inventing room scene available, but this now only remains as screenshots (to my current knowledge).

Despite this, the illustrations are available through buying the book- which is full of Bengt Arne Runnerström's work, albeit in greyscale. This is available on Bokbörsen and other second hand Swedish book shops. The full colour version of Kalle och den Stora Glasshissen is also available! Which could mean a full colour version of the original TV series is out out there somewhere, as a picture book.

ok so

for the last like two hours or so i have been stuck on thewaybackmachine looking at the first page of the percy tag on ao3 through the years 

have i learned anything

uhhhh nevile/percy seemed more popular then i realized at one point i never noticed that when looking at fics normally i mean that in the sense of a rarepair still though like a decent amount of fic with different authors and not one carrying the ship on their back 

also Perciver has always been a powerhouse which valid 

 other then that i was interesting looking at how different the site looked in like 2010

and seeing fics that i know don't exist anymore feels really weird 

anyway interesting experience cant say i recommend it but it was interesting
