It’s only when ghost tries to fit one over his hand that you realize that you’ve made them according to your own wrist, and that of course big army men can’t fit small beaded bracelets like this.

They try to reassure you they’ll find a way to fit the bracelets when you your expression drop, and they end up putting the bracelets on their vest to keep close on them.

They will 100% ask for a new one if they somehow manage to break the old one while out on a mission.

Soaps the one who encourages you to make as many bracelets as possible for him so his arm can be filled with different pastels colors😍

just something i thought i’d mention because in spite of last night i apparently still haven’t recovered from the hallelujah -> 27 combo: pete’s kids were there that night. meagan and pete’s youngest two kids were in the soundbooth and he smiled and winked and waved at them when he went back there during dance dance. they performed THOSE songs in THAT combination and pete’s family was there when they did.

I finished that dressup game I said I was working on !! would very appreciate people giving it a go because I spent literally a week on this. like 7 days off work doing nothing but drawing clothes lmao

in order to make the different body types work without ballooning up the file size way more than it already is, I had to make it so you choose your skin tone twice. in meiker you can't arrange the order elements appear in, but I recommend starting with these two options to pick out your body type and skin tone first, since some options look better on certain bodies imo

also !! meiker !! I don't hear people talk about it much, but it's really cool I like it a lot! it's like picrew, but instead of uploading a bunch of pngs, you arrange and label your layers in folders and upload a single psd file. personally I liked the process a lot more than picrew because I'd rather work with one big file than a million tiny image files, but that's just me. plus you can make the images bigger than you can on picrew too

also posting this again since I can attach it to a post with the game, but I made a tutorial on how to create a bunch of colour options super fast if you want to make your own dressup game. there's no way I'd have nearly as many options if I didn't know how to do this. once you understand the actions feature you can do so much stuff so much more efficiently it's insane it's like my favourite photoshop feature

My friends from home don't know what to say (could refer to the Haly’s Circus people seeing him years later, could refer to when Dick was Batman and how the Titans felt, maybe even S1 Young Justice gang looking at S3 Young Justice Dick)

I looked around in a blood-soaked gown (blood soaked Nightwing suit. he tries his best. he can’t save everyone.)

And I saw something they can't take away (hope. Dick Grayson has always been a symbol of hope. he is hope, he loves his friends and family, that’s something you can’t take away from him no matter what)

the nursery rhyme puzzles might be one of my favorite parts of game. They’re one of the aspects of Saga’s storyline that early on introduce the FBC and the theme of fiction with reality that would be an entire case for her, and later a major source of conflict. All the whimsical poems and dolls that are soon revealed to have direct correlation to Saga and her worries. Is it all a coincidence? Was the act of making this art already affected by Saga’s role and that’s why some of the rhymes are personal? It adds to the mystery that’ll likely never be fully answered, and makes Saga and the player uneasy.

Then, the final doll!—the father that looks like a certain talk show host in the dark place, holding his child. Specifically contained away from any other dolls and the witchfinder’s station, but never given a reason why. Of course, there’s a creepy poem repeated over the station paralleling Saga’s life, but I love that it speaks of the father, Door, keeping an eye on and trying to protect the hero, Saga.

Naturally, Campbell, the annoying FBC researcher, was listening in and wanted to see Saga face the consequences of opening a threshold and seeing what comes through the “doorway.” Only for him to die (?) instead. Such a classic mad scientist ending; It’s comically funny after the haunting mystery of the station. While it could simply be him being sent or consumed by the Dark Place, the chance that it could be Mr. Door watching Campbell try to sabotage his daughter and opening a door for Campbell to face whatever Horrors of the dark place is. so good. What a conclusion to what seemed like a fairly nonsensical puzzle side quest.
