i finally have an official date of my autism (and other things that are wrong with me) evaluation and now im scared that it'll turn out that I'm not actually autistic. like I've spent the last few weeks/months accepting that i probably am. so what if it turns out i'm not. i don't want to have to undo the self acceptance. i am well aware that obsessing over if you're autistic or not is not very allistic behaviour However what if im different. what if im just a silly little guy (with other psychological problems)

it does however mean i look get along with cats really well and get really confused why other people can’t just learn to read some (pretty obvious, in my opinion) body language stuff and get along with cats too

like watch one video, read one article, for goodness sake look at an infographic, and you might learn some really useful stuff

like here’s where to let cats if you don’t know them, here’s how to approach them, also, they can get over stimulated when being pet so learn the signs and leave ‘em alone

Y'know. While the whole corporations destroy art thing continues to get worse and worse I'm gonna be a pretentious fuck and recommend people read "The Goldfish Pool and Other Stories" by Neil Gaiman. It's about exactly this, the protagonist wrote a bestselling book and it's sold to be made into a movie but the people behind keep stripping it of everything original, all while the protagonist is staying at an old Hollywood hotel and confiding in a 90-year-old janitor who still remembers the silent film stars of that era

It's very cathartic and is one of my favorite Neil Gaiman short stories, and also just. Topical as hell rn
