Terfs are also just misogynists. They have, quite literally, the exact same ideology as incels-- they're just coming at it from the angle of the "seller" on the supposed "sexual marketplace," not the "buyer." Their distaste of trans women, of trans men, of even GNC people is just this: you're devaluing the power they perceive they have as the gatekeepers of sex.

It’s time for yet another newsletter!

It’s been a pretty busy month for both of our creators, so we only have a small handful of things to show off and talk about, but we’d still like to give you this peek behind the curtains nonetheless!

First of all, Thank you to all who have checked out Third Wave on Ao3! Posting all the stories there was kind of the big thing we wanted to do from the start but ended up not getting an account in time to do so in time… we hope that publishing there has helped out a lot! If I’m being as honest as I can be, I’d love it if more people checked out the full story of our characters! As I’ve said before, Third Wave is just the first step into a bigger universe with a set of 5 new bands complete with their own stories and narratives… Of course in doing this, we’ve created an interwoven narrative that necessitates reading everything to see how the plot unfolds. While I can’t really do much to further encourage reading our works, I really hope you all will! It’s been a blast making this story after all!

Now with that said, for those who are fully caught up on the story I’m sure you might have at least a bit of interest as to what’s next. Band Story 2 has a brief intro in the doc, but to further build up to the release of it, I’d like to introduce a new major character!

Liu Huiying is a Hanasakigawa Second Year, as well as the creator and lead Vocals/Guitarist of the rock band “Lunacy”, a band that Sayuki once believed to be a place where her dreams would be safe… until Huiying forced her to leave the band, scarring her dreams forever…

Huiying’s motivations and Sayuki’s past will be a large part of the story of Band Story 2, so we hope you’ll look forward to learning more about them and seeing how they’ll both affect the story going forward! Band Story 2 will release in the fall of 2025!

Now, for another peek behind the curtains, let’s talk about See Batteries!

If you remember from our last newsletter, I teased them as a Celtic Punk Band with a robot vocalist, well… let’s get into the Robot Vocalist part a little more! The Story of See Batteries is based on yumenokessho, the Bandori SynthV’s that are based on the vocalists, and not only does the story of See Batteries canonize the yumenokessho’s to the Bandori Universe, it also introduces a new one, ARIA, the vocalist of See Batteries! ARIA has to appearance of a simplistic Vocaloid when existing in “digital space”, but in real life, she inhabits a robotic humanoid body that allows her to sing and move about! Isn’t she just adorable?

The Story of SeeBee’s is about halfway finished, look forward to it!

Washington – The Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) is recommending that countries in the region adopt a phased approach to reopening schools for face-to-face learning in the 2021/22 academic year, in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. PAHO Director Dr Carissa Etienne says this approach should take into consideration the local epidemiological situation, which, she notes, “can change rapidly”. “Surveillance will be key to ensuring that reopening is done safely and that learning environments remain safe,” she said during PAHO’s COVID-19 digital briefing on Wednesday. Etienne said prior to reopening schools, countries must ensure institutions can maintain COVID-19 prevention and infection control measures, including physical distancing, hand hygiene, and mask wearing. Noting that there is COVID-19 community transmission “in almost every country”, the director emphasised that “what we do not want is for schools to be transformed into catalysts for more [of this]”. She pointed out that closing and reopening schools should be considered a part of the physical-distancing measures that national and parochial authorities are constantly adjusting, depending on the epidemiological situation and the local response capacity. Etienne maintained that schools “must remain healthy settings for living, learning and working”, while adding that safe and accessible transportation to and from institutions for children and adolescents is also an important consideration. Consequently, she said, more than 101 million children across Latin America and the Caribbean have been hit harder by school closures than their peers in any other region. She contended that reopening schools “is and should be a priority for governments”, among other stakeholders. “But, ultimately, the safest way to reopen schools rests on countries’ abilities to suppress transmission through vaccination and the implementation of public health measures. This is the only way that we can fully protect children, teachers, parents and the community,” Etienne added.
