Hello people, let me introduce you to one AU I've been working on these past few months... Trucy Wright: Investigations
What if Trucy had her own Investigations spin-off ? Well, that was the thing I thought about, by making my own story !!
Summary: Trucy Wright, magician extraordinaire comes back home after multiple years on tour, but as she enters the office of the Wright Anything Agency, she discovers a note saying her father was abducted and a clue to find him ! Determined to uncover the truth behind what really happened to him, Trucy embarks on an adventure, and multiple investigations with familiar figures to bring her father back home !
The (made-up) game is set two years after aa6 and would be consisting of 4 cases, but first, here are the characters !
Profiles:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Story
Case 1: Welcome Home, My Turnabout
Tumblr media
Trucy comes back from touring and Athena picks her up from the airport. As they go to the WAA, they find that a murder happened right outside the office while they were away !! With the help of Athena, they investigate the scene of the crime.
After they discovered who was behind this, they go inside the office to find out Phoenix disappeared with a note and a piece of cloth which appears to have khura'inese patterns. Trucy, with her emergency money, decides to book a plane for Khura'in.
Case 2: Turnabout Nostalgia (i had no better names)
Tumblr media
Back to Khura'in ! Trucy meets up with Apollo who is busy with a case, so, for old time's sake, they investigate together ! The duo is also supported by the lovely comments of Rayfa who somehow is there.
After solving yet another case, Apollo with the help of Nahyuta find out that the pattern comes from a little community in London, so off to London we go ! Thanks to Apollo's money, Trucy books another plane for the UK !
Case 3: My Flying Turnabout
Tumblr media
Quite a bad luck Trucy has ! Indeed as she enjoys her plane ride, a murder suddenly happens (three rows behind her to be exact). So, with the help of Aries, a french prosecutor, they investigate to figure out who decided to kill someone in the air ! As they investigate, Trucy finds a photograph with Aries on it, but decides to keep it with her..
After they land, Trucy meets up with Edgeworth (who was at a conference in London) who takes care of the murderer (having connections with Interpol does help), and they decide to take a rest as Trucy explains the situation.
Case 4: Turnabout Revelations
Tumblr media
The day after arriving to London, Trucy receives a text from an unknown number with an address, telling her to go there, Edgeworth comes with her. The place is an abandonned storage area in which a recreation of a crime scene (ala Little Thief) is there for them to solve it. The murder is one of a young girl, who was harassed by a man who, at some point, decides to threaten her with a gun while she was with her brother. He harms her and her brother but during the fight, he drops his weapon and the brother catch it, and fires two time; only hitting the young girl. Trucy and Edgeworth both come to the conclusion that the culprit is the brother, but they are interrupted as someone comes in, telling them they're wrong ! And that person is Aries (please pretend to be shocked)
Tumblr media
Aries was actually the one who ordered to abduct Phoenix, and was following Trucy from the moment she came home to here as a way to ensure she was looking for her father. Why ?
Tumblr media
For Aries to take her as a hostage, so Phoenix could make a re-trial and catch the guy that, according to him killed the girl. As Edgeworth is kind of helpless in this situation, Aries calls Trucy a bunch of names, telling her she's nothing, etc (think of the meanest thing you could say to someone). But as his monologue goes on, he makes a slip-up that causes Trucy to react. By remembering all the details, evidence (the photo from the case 3 makes a comback !) and others she realise : Aries was the one who unintentionally killed his sister, her only family, before running off to France. Aries has a breakdown and Trucy, with the help of Edgeworth, manages to free herself from Aries' grip and also magically handcuffs him (don't ask. it's magic.). After some time, the police finds Phoenix and the family is reunited !! Happy end for everyone yay !!
Gameplay
For the gameplay, I thought about having the Perceive ability being brought back because she is a Gramarye, and also keep the Rebuttals because during her investigations, she is always with either a defense attorney or a prosecutor.
But I also wanted to add another gimmick, that I called Showtime: Trucy is a performer, thus, she knows how to handle misdirections, she knows how to make a crowd believe in something that isn't completely real. So, in her head, she considers the crime scenes as magic stages.
Tumblr media
(here is an example of how it would look like)
So basically, Showtime allows her to put her inside the murderer's mind to discover things they might've hidden or illusions they might've created thanks to evidence she gathered.
Aaaaand that's all !! Thank you if you read all of that: this AU is really dear to me and I loved designing the characters and making up a story ! I might post some drafts of designs and stuff that didn't make it; but if you have any questions or suggestions I'd gladly answer them !

This week, the notorious ransomware gang known as LockBit threatened a kind of disruption that would have been a first even for a criminal industry that has crippled hospitals and triggered the shutdown of a gas pipeline: leaking documents from the criminal prosecution of a former president and presidential candidate.
Then, without explanation, that threat evaporated, leaving plenty of unanswered questions behind.
For the past five days, LockBit promised on its dark-web site to publish data stolen from the Fulton County, Georgia, government, which it listed as one of its extortion victims, unless the county paid an unspecified ransom. One administrator for the group went so far as to post the specific threat of releasing documents related to Fulton County's high-profile prosecution of Donald Trump: the Superior Court of Fulton County is the venue where Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, stands accused of a criminal conspiracy to interfere in the 2020 election.
Yet when the hacker group's own deadline for that leak arrived, no documents appeared. Instead, LockBit mysteriously removed any mention of it from its website. Fulton County officials have denied paying a ransom—which leaves unanswered why the leak disappeared, and whether LockBit still holds any of the court's documents or ever did in the first place.
“We’re not aware of any data having been released today so far,” Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitts said in a Thursday afternoon press conference. “Now that being said, that does not mean the threat is over by any means, and they could release whatever data they have at any time, today, tomorrow or any time in the future. We have no control over that."
The ransomware crew's threat, before it vanished, had been dramatically timed: It followed a coordinated law enforcement takedown operation targeting LockBit just last week. Known as Operation Chronos and led by the UK's National Crime Agency, the operation took control of much of LockBit's infrastructure, seized hundreds of its cryptocurrency wallets, tore down the dark-web sites it uses in its extortion campaigns, and even claimed to have compromised some of its members and partners. Just days later, however, LockBit managed to launch a new dark-web site, where it posted a list of victims along with countdown timers for each representing their deadline to pay a ransom before the hackers leaked their stolen data. The deadline for the Fulton County documents had been set for February 29 at 1:49 pm UTC.
On that relaunched site, one LockBit administrator also posted a lengthy screed accusing the FBI of timing the takedown specifically to prevent the release of the Trump-related Fulton County court documents—and promising to release them despite the bust if Fulton County didn't pay.
“The FBI decided to hack now for one reason only, because they didn't want to leak information from [the Fulton County government website],” the LockBit administrator wrote. “The stolen documents contain a lot of interesting things and Donald Trump's court cases that could affect the upcoming US election.”
The hacking-related paralysis of Fulton County's government, at least, seems to be very real: By its own admission, the county government is facing a serious and ongoing network disruption that looks very much like a ransomware attack. The website for Fulton County's government has noted in an alert on its homepage for nearly a week that it's “experiencing an unexpected IT outage currently affecting multiple systems” and that systems related to everything from phone lines to tax collection to courts had been affected. An official who answered the phone at the county's publicly listed phone line tells WIRED the outage had begun as early as late January. But a county government spokesperson declined WIRED's request for more information on the attack.
The LockBit hackers also posted some convincing sample documents that appeared to have been stolen from the Fulton County court systems prior to the takedown last week, according to Georgia-based reporter George Chidi, who wrote about the incident earlier this month. Chidi reported seeing documents that included court files and even documents under seal in specific cases, though none appeared to be related to Trump’s prosecution.
Then, on Wednesday, just hours before LockBit's deadline for the county to pay its ransom expired, the countdown timer for that leak on Lockbit's website froze, with an added line of text that read, “Timer stopped.” At the promised time of 1:49 PM UTC Thursday, the leak failed to materialize. Instead, all mention of Fulton County was removed from LockBit's extortion threat site.
In Thursday's press conference, Fulton County Chairman Rob Pitts denied that the county had paid Lockbit's extortion fee. “We have not paid any ransom, nor has any ransom been paid on our behalf,” Pitts said.
LockBit instead may well be bluffing—either it doesn't have the goods it claims or isn't ready to give up on its extortion demand. Robert McArdle, a researcher who leads a cybercrime-focused research team at security firm Trend Micro and was involved in the law enforcement operation against LockBit, says the group's thus-far empty threat is a sign that it was likely more disrupted by the bust than it wants to admit.
“This appears to be further evidence of the difficulties facing LockBit ever since Op Chronos took place, and should be considered as a sign they are unable to reliably follow through on their statements,” says McArdle. He points out that the victims listed on the group's new dark-web site were all compromised prior to Operation Chronos and that continuing to threaten them is the group's attempt to “appear as if everything is normal when most evidence points very much to the contrary.”
There remain other theories, however, that Lockbit might still possess the court's data but is seeking to use it in some other way. “They generally don't lie about victims, because they're so worried about their reputation,” says Jon DiMaggio, the ransomware-focused chief security strategist at cybersecurity firm Analyst1. He notes that the decision to take down the leak threat may have been the decision of the “affiliate” hackers who partner with LockBit to penetrate victims like Fulton County and may have different motivations from LockBit itself.
If Fulton County documents do remain in the hands of hackers, and if any of them relate to the Trump case, they could further complicate an already deeply messy trial. The state's case has been rocked by allegations that the prosecutor in the case, Fulton County district attorney Fanni Willis, had an improper affair with another prosecutor involved in Trump's prosecution, which the defense has argued should require Willis’ dismissal. The compromise of non-public documents in the case could make the proceedings—and the upcoming US presidential election—even more chaotic.
“We're watching with interest to see how the Fulton leak develops,” Trend Micro’s McArdle says. So, no doubt, will the US political sphere—including a certain former president.

Hi, Pia
I just read chapter 28 'Strange and Lonely' of UtB and got curious about the omega rights that exist in this world. Would you mind listing some of the rights omegas have in Australia in this universe? And are there countries where they don't have these rights? Or countries where omegas have even *more* rights than where UtB takes place?
And also Gary says that Temsen became 'radicalised' after what he'd seen while studying overseas. Does Gary really think Temsens views are radical or was that just a word he used in the moment?
Thanks!
Hi anon!
Some of this stuff I don't know the full answer to (winging the story), some of it will be revealed in the story, but here's some bits and pieces!
Would you mind listing some of the rights omegas have in Australia in this universe?
I don't know them all because honestly I can't keep every single legal right that humans have in my brain so I don't know how I could do that for omegas, but generally speaking omegas in Australia have:
A right to education (conditional) A right to life (conditional - if no birth certificate is recorded, a right to life can be legally circumvented -> problematic because omegas have their own birth register, and many omegas births still aren't recorded at all) A right to freedom from medical experimentation and unusual acts of cruelty or inhuman acts (this includes conditional freedom from being imprisoned and raped in a fraternity house, but not freedom from being imprisoned and raped in an omega rehabilitation centre) A right to health (conditional) A right to a fair trial (conditional) A right to work (conditional) A right to protection from violence from strangers (conditional)
(I'm putting conditional next to all of these, because many of these rights have loopholes that can often be utilised by alphas and betas, especially in the case of spouses and families, and these are the people normally controlling an omegas life in the first place. For example, if a family causes an omega to be sick, that omega has no right to take their family to court.)
They do not have rights to:
Vote (hugely contested, but as omegas are such a tiny portion of the population and don't get much support, this is slow going. Alphas can of course vote, despite also being a tiny proportion of the population, lmao) Freedom from discrimination based on being omega Protection from violence (inc rape) from family or partners
Australia is considered one of the better places in the world for an omega, about on par with with UK, and ahead of places like the USA. However there are many countries that offer better rights and protections to omegas, but I couldn't tell you what they are, because I don't know! I just know they exist, lol. One of them is Switzerland, based on the fact that Gary and James went to do a conference there on omega psychology and rights.
But! Any of this could change depending on how the story goes. Winging it means the story decides how it progresses, in a way, so if one of these becomes inconvenient to me and I haven't established it in the story, I will ditch it lmao.
Does Gary really think Temsens views are radical or was that just a word he used in the moment?
Temsen's views really are radical. Just because Gary shares many of them, doesn't make them any less so. Hillview is a place that practices pretty radical omega theory and acceptance, and has to kind of hide that it does that because it goes counter to the global culture in general.
There's very few people in the world for example who would agree with Temsen's approach to Efnisien. Temsen asking Efnisien if he wants an alpha in the room with him instead of giving the alpha the choice is unusual and generally not done. Temsen seeking even some consent is not something many doctors do. Temsen embodies a more ethical practice (overall, not always though) towards omegas and in his viewpoints towards omegas. Gary agrees in theory, but he can have a harder time implementing it in practice, because he's still got a lot of internalise issues towards omegas. Everyone at Hillview does, because they live in a society that has taught them to discriminate against omegas, so it's something everyone there is unpacking, including the omegas.
It also makes Hillview challenging, because it tends to turn out more politically aware and educated omegas, and while they're sometimes wanted by their partners who also happen to be activists, it's not generally what omega rehabilitation facilities are meant to do (which is to usually establish the kind of mindbreak where the omega becomes so docile - through repeated rape and forced bonding - that they see complete and total obedience to a partner or family outside of the facility as true freedom).
The world is definitely described / tagged as dystopia for a reason!

Press release by Xu Shichang
“Fellow countrymen, we as the Beiyang government would like to address the concerns
Firstly, we condemn the acts of the Anhui clique, particularly the acts of Duan QiRui, and would like to clarify he is currently on trial for high treason. In no way does his actions or words represent the interests of the government, and we apologise if anyone feels concerned over his growing extremism and his increasing personal alliance with the Japanese. We strongly condemn him and the Japanese and their growing imperialist ideas. Should anyone feel concerned over him, please do send Xu ShiChang a note and we will communicate further with you.
Furthermore, we do agree that Europe has turned their back on us. During the conference, the UK and France, our allies in WW1, have voted in favour of Japan taking Shangdong. The US expressly disagreed with this, and this is also mirrored in their Bryan Note of 1915. Japan violated the sovereignty and the UK and France are siding with them.
Finally, last night Duan Qirui, Chen Lu, Fu Zengxiang, Xu Shuzheng, Jin Yun Peng have attempted an assassination on me. I am very much disappointed by their actions, but it is just further proof that we have corrupt officials among us. We will imminently be purging them for high treason.
We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to another glorious day. May China reign supreme.”

Controversial topic, but I’m genuinely curious. I have watched a bit of the trial of Deep vs Heard (I don’t claim to be an expert or anything) but I’m curious why people don’t accept Amber is an abuser. Idk if Depp is an abuser or not, since there has been no actual evidence providing Heard’s claim. But I do know that the audio clearly has her sayings how Jonny was being a baby and how he was admirable for not engaging in a physical fight and how she hit him but not punch him.
I don’t want any fights or something, but like I wanna know why you think she’s not an abuser (irrespective of Depp’s whatever)
Ps. There was also Amber abusing her last gf so idk?

Harry, Meghan and me: my truth as a royal reporter
I've covered elections and extremism, but nothing compares to the vitriol I've received since I started writing about the Sussexes
By Camilla Tominey, Associate Editor27 March 2021 • 6:00am
It is probably worth mentioning from the outset that I never, ever, planned to become a royal reporter. I mean, who does? It’s one of those ridiculous jobs most people fall into completely by accident.
I certainly wasn’t coveting the position when I first found out how bonkers the beat could be after covering Charles and Camilla’s wedding in 2005. Desperate for ‘a line’ on what went on at the reception, journalists were reduced to flagging down passing cars in Windsor High Street and interrogating the likes of Stephen Fry about whether they’d had the salmon or the chicken.
Watergate, this wasn’t.
Yet when my former editor called me into his office shortly afterwards and offered me the royal job ‘because you’re called Camilla and you dress nicely’, who was I to refuse?
Having planned to get married myself that summer, and start a family soon afterwards, I looked to the likes of Jennie Bond and Penny Junor and figured it would be a good patch for a working mother as well as being one I could grow old with. Unlike show business, when celebrities are ‘in’ one minute and ‘out’ the next, the royals would stay the same, making it easier to build – and keep – contacts.
So if you’d told me that 16 years later, I would find myself at the centre of a media storm over a royal interview with Oprah Winfrey, I’d have probably laughed in your face. First of all, only royals like Fergie do interviews with Oprah. And since when did journalists become the story?
Yet as I have experienced since the arrival of Meghan Markle on the royal scene in 2016 – a move that roughly coincided with Twitter doubling its 140-character limitation to 280 – royal reporters like me now find themselves in the line of fire like never before.
We are used to the likes of Kate Adie coming under attack in the Middle East, but now it is the correspondents who write up events like Trooping the Colour and the Royal Windsor Horse Show having to take cover from the keyboard warriors supposedly defending the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s ‘truth’.
Accusations of racism have long been levelled against anyone who has dared to write less than undiluted praise of Harry and Meghan. But even I have been taken aback by the vitriol on social media in the wake of the couple’s televised two-hour talk-a-thon, in which they branded both the Royal family and the British press racist while complaining about their ‘almost unsurvivable’ multimillionaire lives at the hands of the evil monarchy. And all while the rest of the UK were losing their loved ones and livelihoods in a global pandemic.
Having covered Brexit, general elections and stories about Islamic extremism, I’ve grown used to being sprayed with viral vomit on a fairly regular basis, but when you’ve got complete strangers trolling your best friend’s Instagram feed by association? That’s Britney Spears levels of toxic.
Having a hind thicker than a rhino’s, it wasn’t the repeated references to my being ‘a total c—’ that particularly bothered me, nor even the suggestion that I should have my three children put up for adoption. At one point someone even said it would be a good idea for me to drink myself to death like my mother, about whose chronic alcoholism I have written extensively.
No, what really got me was the appalling spelling and grammar. I mean, if you’re going to hurl insults, at least have the decency to get my name right.
Yet in order to understand just how it has come to pass that so-called #SussexSquaders think nothing of branding all royal correspondents ‘white supremacists’ regardless of who they write for, or sending hate mail to our email addresses, offices – and in some cases, even our homes – it’s worth briefly going to back to when I first broke the story that Prince Harry was dating an American actor in the Sunday Express on 31 October 2016. Headlined: ‘Royal world exclusive: Harry’s secret romance with TV star’, the splash revealed how the popular prince was ‘secretly dating a stunning US actress, model and human rights campaigner’.
Despite my now apparently being on a par with the Ku Klux Klan for failing to acknowledge Meghan as the next messiah, it was actually not until the fifteenth paragraph of that original article that the ‘confident and intelligent’ Northwestern University graduate was described as ‘the daughter of an African-American mother and a father of Dutch and Irish descent’.
Call me superficial, but I was genuinely far more interested in the fact that Harry ‘I-come-with-baggage’ Wales was dating a former ‘briefcase girl’ from the US version of Deal or No Deal than the colour of her skin. A ginger prince punching well above his weight? This was the stuff of tabloid dreams. Little did I know then that covering the trials and tribulations of these two lovebirds would turn into such a nightmare.
The online hostility began bubbling up about eight days after that first story, when Harry’s then communications secretary Jason Knauf issued an ‘unprecedented’ statement accusing the media of ‘crossing a line’.
‘His girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment’, it read, referencing a ‘smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments’. Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, had apparently been besieged by photographers, while bribes had been offered to Meghan’s ex-boyfriend along with ‘the bombardment of nearly every friend, coworker, and loved one in her life’.
Suffice to say, I did feel a bit guilty. Although I hadn’t written anything remotely racist or sexist, I had started the ball rolling for headlines like the MailOnline’s ‘(Almost) straight outta Compton’ (referencing a song by hip-hop group NWA about gang violence and Meghan’s upbringing in the nearby LA district of Crenshaw), along with her ‘exotic’ DNA (which I subsequently called out, including on This Morning in the wake of ‘Megxit’ in January last year).
Omid Scobie, co-author of Finding Freedom, a highly favourable account of the Sussexes’ departure from the Royal family, written with their cooperation last summer, would later insist that the couple knew the story of their relationship was coming out and were well prepared for it.
I can tell you categorically that they weren’t, since I did not even put a call into Kensington Palace before we went to press for fear of it being leaked. (I did later discuss this with Harry, when I covered his trip to the Caribbean in November 2016, and to be fair he was pretty philosophical, agreeing it would have come out sooner or later. But that was before the former Army Captain decided to well and truly shoot the messenger, latterly telling journalists covering the newly-weds’ tax-payer-funded October 2018 tour of Australia and the south Pacific: ‘Thanks for coming, even though you weren’t invited.’)
The royal press pack is the group of dedicated writers who cover all the official engagements and tours on a rota system, in exchange for not bothering the royals as they go about their private business. It was a shame this ragtag bunch, of which I am an associate member, was never personally introduced to Meghan when the couple got engaged in November 2017.
I still have fond memories of a then Kate Middleton, upon her engagement to Prince William in November 2010, showing me her huge sapphire and diamond ring following a press conference at St James’s Palace with the words, ‘It was William’s mother’s so it is very special.’
I replied that she might want to consider buying ‘one of those expanding accordion style file holders’ to organise all her wedding paperwork. (Reader, I had given birth to my second child less than four months earlier and was still lactating.)
Not meeting Meghan did not stop royal commentators like me writing reams about her being ‘a breath of fresh air’ and telling practically every TV show I appeared on that she was the ‘best thing to have happened to the Royal Family in years’.
As the world followed the joyous news of the Windsors’ resident strip billiards star having finally found ‘the one’, the couple enjoyed overwhelmingly positive press culminating in their fairy-tale wedding in May 2018, which we headlined ‘So in love’ above a picture of the bride and groom kissing. I tweeted the wedding front page, along with the original story breaking the news of their relationship with the words, ‘Job done’. Yet, as Meghan would later point out in a glossy Santa Barbara garden, that was by far the end of the story.
According to the Duchess’s testimony before a global audience of millions, the seeds for their royal departure were actually sown by an article I wrote in November 2018 suggesting she made Kate cry during a bridesmaid’s dress fitting for Princess Charlotte.
Claiming the ‘reverse happened’, the former Suits star railed, ‘A few days before the wedding she was upset about something, pertaining to, yes, the issue was correct, about flower-girl dresses, and it made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings.’
She then went on to criticise the palace for failing to correct the story – suggesting that royal aides had hung her out to dry to protect the Duchess of Cambridge.
All of which left me in a bit of a sticky situation. As I told Phillip Schofield on This Morning the following day, ‘I don’t write things I don’t believe to be true and that haven’t been really well sourced.’
Having seemingly been completely bowled over by Meghan’s version of events, Schofe then went for the jugular: ‘I have to say, though, that’s all addressed in that interview, isn’t it, because she [Meghan] couldn’t understand why nobody stood up for her?’
Yet someone had stood up for her, on that very same This Morning sofa: me.
As I told Phil and Holly on 14 January 2019, as more reports of ‘Duchess Difficult’ started to emerge, ‘I think she [Meghan] is doing really well, she looks amazing, she speaks well. She has played a blinder.’
So you’ll forgive me if I can’t quite understand why Meghan didn’t feel the need to correct this supposedly glaring error once she had her own dedicated head of communications from March 2019 – or indeed when she ‘collaborated’ with Scobie, who concluded in his bestselling hagiography that ‘no one cried’?
Moreover, how did the Duchess know a postnatal Kate wasn’t ‘left in tears’? And if she doesn’t know, what hope has the average troll observing events through the prism of their own deep-rooted insecurities?
It appears the actual truth ceases to matter once sides have been taken in the unedifying Team Meghan versus Team Kate battle that has divided the internet.
Make no mistake, there are abject morons at both extremes spewing the sort of bile that, ironically, makes most of the media coverage of Harry and Meghan look like a 1970s edition of Jackie magazine.
It perhaps didn’t help my case that the day before the interview was aired in the US, I had written a lengthy piece carefully weighing up the evidence behind allegations of ‘outrageous bullying’ that had been levelled against Meghan during what proved to be a miserable 20 months in the Royal family for all concerned.
The messages – to my Twitter feed, my email, my website and official Facebook page – ranged from the threatening, to the typical tropes about media ‘scum’ and the downright bizarre. Some accused me of being in cahoots with Carole Middleton, with whom I have never interacted, unless you count a last-minute Party Pieces purchase in a desperate moment of poor parental planning.
Another frequent barb was questioning why the press wasn’t writing about that ‘pedo’ [sic] Prince Andrew instead – seemingly oblivious to the fact that no one would know about the Duke of York’s links to Jeffrey Epstein if it wasn’t for the acres of coverage devoted to the story by us royal hacks over recent years.
It didn’t matter that I had repeatedly torn the Queen’s second, and, some say, favourite son to pieces for everything from his propensity to take his golf clubs on foreign tours to that disastrous Newsnight interview.
Contrary to the ‘invisible contract’ Harry claims the palace has with the press, royal coverage works roughly like this: good royal deeds = good publicity. Bad royal deeds = bad publicity. We effectively act as a critical friend, working on behalf of a public that rightly expects the royals to take the work – but not themselves – seriously.
So when a royal couple preaches about climate change before taking four private jets in 11 days, it is par for the course for a royal scribe to point out the inconsistency of that message. None of it is ever personal, as evidenced by the fact that practically every member of the monarchy has come in for flak over the years.
If Oprah wasn’t willing to point out the discrepancies in Harry and Meghan’s testimony, surely it is beholden on royal reporters to question how the Duchess had managed to undertake four foreign holidays in the six months after her wedding, in addition to official tours to Italy, Canada, and Amsterdam, as well as embarking on a lengthy honeymoon, if she had ‘turned over’ her passport?
While no one would wish to undermine the extent of her mental health problems, could it really be true that she only left the house twice in four months when she managed to cram in 73 days’ worth of engagements, according to the Court Circular, in the 17 months between her wedding and the couple’s departure to Canada?
And what of the ‘racist’ headlines flashed up during the interview purporting to be from the British press, when more than a third were actually taken from independent blogs and the foreign media? The UK media abides by the Independent Press Standards Organisation’s Code of Conduct ‘to avoid prejudicial or pejorative reference to an individual’s race’, as well as by rigorous defamation laws. And rightly so – the British press doesn’t always get it right. But social media is the Wild West by comparison, publishing vile slurs on a daily basis with impunity.
Some therefore find it strange that such a litigious couple would claim to have been ‘silenced’ when they have made so many complaints, including resorting to legal action, over stories they claim not to have even read. There is something similarly contradictory about a couple accusing the tabloids of lacking self-reflection while refusing to take any blame at all – for anything.
In any normal world, informed writing on such matters would be classed as fair comment, but not, seemingly, on Twitter where those completely lacking any objectivity whatsoever are only too willing to virtue signal and manoeuvre.
As the trolling reached fever pitch in the aftermath of the interview, veteran royal reporter Robert Jobson of the Evening Standard called me. ‘Don’t respond to these freaks,’ he advised. ‘It’s getting nasty out there. Watch your back!’
Yet despite my general sense of bewilderment at the menacing Megbots, I can’t say it didn’t appal me to discover a close friend had received online abuse, purely by dint of being my mate. After discussing the lengths the troll must have gone to to track her down, she asked me, ‘Do you ever worry someone might do something awful to you?’ Er, not until now, no.
Of course it’s upsetting, even for a cynical old-timer like me. Worse still are people who actually know me casting aspersions on my profession on social media. Often these are the same charlatans who would think nothing of sidling up to me for the latest gossip on the Royal family, while publicly pretending that reading any such coverage is completely beneath them.
Most pernicious of all though – not least after Piers Morgan’s departure from Good Morning Britain following a complaint to ITV and Ofcom from the Duchess – is the corrosive effect this whole hullabaloo is having on freedom of speech. When you’ve got a former actor effectively editing a British breakfast show from an £11 million Montecito mansion, what next?
I cannot help but think we are in danger of setting race relations back 30 years if people are seriously suggesting that any criticism of Meghan is racially motivated. It’s the hypocrisy that gets me. When Priti Patel was accused of bullying, the very same people who willingly hung the Home Secretary out to dry are now the ones defending Meghan against such claims, saying they have been levelled at her simply because she is ‘a strong woman of colour’.
Of course journalists should take responsibility for everything they report and be held to account for it – but Harry and Meghan do not have a monopoly on the truth simply because the close friend and neighbour who interviewed them in return for £7 million from CBS took what they said as gospel.
If she isn’t willing to probe the disparity between Meghan saying someone questioned the colour of Archie’s skin when she was pregnant, and Harry suggesting it happened before they were even married, then someone must. There’s a name for such scrutiny. It’s called journalism.
The public reserves the right to make up its own mind – with the help of the watchful eye of a free and fair press. But that press can never be free or fair if journalists do not feel they can report without fear or favour. I’m lucky that a lot of the criticism I face is more than balanced out by hugely supportive members of the public and online community who either agree – or respect the right to disagree. Along with the hate mail, I have had many thoughtful and eloquent missives, including those that good naturedly challenge what I have written in the paper or said on TV, which have genuinely given me pause for thought.
I am more than happy to enter into constructive discourse with these correspondents, who are frankly sometimes the only people who keep me on Twitter. I mean, let’s face it, I wouldn’t be anywhere near the bloody thing if this wasn’t my day job.
With the National Union of Journalists this month declaring that harassment and abuse had ‘become normalised’ within the industry, never have members of Britain’s press needed more courage. As Winston Churchill famously said, ‘You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.’
Who would have thought that the preservation of the fundamental freedoms that we hold so dear should partially rest on the shoulders of those who follow around a 94-year-old woman and her family for a living?
If I’d known then what I know now, would I still have written the bridesmaid’s dress story?
Yes – doubtlessly reflecting sisterly sobs all round. But after two decades in this business, I am clear-eyed enough to know this for certain: whatever I had written, it would still have ended in tears.

Why do so many young women hate feminist trailblazers like me?
For anyone uninitiated into the various waves of 21st-century feminism, this will no doubt come as a shock. But in my opinion, what passes right now for modern feminism is doing women more harm than good.
Many young women today are not only pandering to men in their so-called feminism, but seem utterly unconcerned that the hard-won rights achieved by older women in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s are at risk of being catastrophically eroded.
They are helping everyone but themselves. In many ways they are betraying everything I and my brave colleagues fought for. This is the worst clash across the generations I have witnessed since coming to feminism in 1979, aged 17.
In universities around the UK and beyond, women are being fed a type of faux feminism, often by men reluctant to lose any of their privilege.
Tumblr media
Julie Bindel, who came to feminism in 1979, says the rights achieved in the 19060s, 1970s and 1980s are at risk of being catastrophically eroded. Pictured: Julie (left) with Emma Humphreys in 1995 after a campaign to free her from jail for killing her violent partner
These women are being bullied and cajoled into accepting nonsensical concepts that are, at best, naive and, at worst, downright dangerous.
Prostitution, say these young women, is a job just like any other. They also argue that pornography is liberating. And finally, that trans-women should share female-only spaces such as hospital wards and domestic violence refuges.
This last makes me want to weep. It was women of my generation — often called second-wave feminists — who, 50 years ago, built rape crisis centres and refuges with no funding or salaries. To see them being dismantled by the very women who may one day need them is heartbreaking and infuriating.
I don’t think these women — almost all of whom would call themselves feminists — realise they are complicit in eroding our rights, for the simple reason they are no longer taught feminist history in universities. Instead, they are fed a sop of incomprehensible post-modern claptrap by ivory tower academics.
Feminists of my generation are not just ignored, but actively disparaged — or worse.
Since January 2004, when I offered an early opinion on the trans issue for a national newspaper, whenever it becomes public that I am about to speak at an event, always about an aspect of male violence and always as part of my campaigning work, a mob forms with the aim of bullying the organisers into un-inviting me. This is always played out in public and it is always humiliating. Sometimes the organisers capitulate.
I have been invited then uninvited from numerous events at universities following protests from trans activists and supporters of ‘sex work is work’ politics. I have also been invited to, then de-platformed from a number of events exploring free speech.
By contrast, genuine achievements of the past go unrecognised. From the very beginning of my involvement in the women’s liberation movement, we were out on the streets, waving placards, carrying banners and shouting through loudhailers, protesting the laws we wanted to change.
Tumblr media
Julie said feminism has been rebranded and repackaged as ‘just be kind and nice to everyone’. Pictured: A 1970 women’s liberation protest
It was our campaigning that led to the introduction of the offence of coercive control; that barred the use of a woman’s previous sexual history in rape trials and ensured anonymity for the victims of sexual assault; and outlawed rape in marriage, which — young feminists are often astonished to discover — was perfectly legal in England and Wales until 1992.
Absurdly, there is no longer any expectation that being a feminist requires you to do anything feminist at all. Instead, and ironically given my experience, feminism has been rebranded and repackaged as ‘just be kind and nice to everyone’. Young women are told it is simply about the ‘choice’ to be who you ‘want to be’.
But if feminism is about choice, what does this mean for the women and girls who don’t have any? The girls forced into marriage, the women pimped out by violent boyfriends, the women on benefits living in temporary accommodation with young children they can’t afford to feed?
For feminism to mean anything, it has to be for all women and not just the privileged few.
Do young women even know about ‘the battles we’ve fought for them
You might ask, as many young women do, what is there still left to fight for? Although my generation of feminists and those that came before chalked up numerous victories, women are far from liberated. Levels of male violence towards women and girls are off the scale, as we have seen with the tragic events of recent weeks.
Conviction rates are so low that rape has been more or less decriminalised. Sexual harassment is endemic in our secondary schools and still a problem for many women in the workplace.
Many young women claim to be feminists, but seem to spend their time dismissing those of us who do the work — as opposed to simply talk the talk — as ‘irrelevant’, ‘bigoted’, and ‘past it’. Do these women even know about the battles we’ve fought and won to afford them some freedom?
Tumblr media
Julie said in the current climate of misogyny, many young women are turning on feminists like her rather than pointing the finger at abusive men. Pictured: A rally to celebrate International Women's Day in 2020
In 2018, for example, Ash Sarkar, a media commentator, tweeted about the proposed changes to the Gender Recognition Act, claiming the introduction of ‘self-identification’ would not have any effect on the rights of others. I replied: ‘Unless you are a female in prison, one of the most disenfranchised groups on the planet of course.’ It was a reference to the case of Karen White, the transgender sex offender placed in a female prison who went on to sexually assault two female inmates.
When, in reply, Sarkar claimed ‘bigots’ like me didn’t ‘care about women in prison’, it was too much. Had she known her feminist history, she would have been aware that I am the founder of Justice for Women — a campaign I began in 1990 — and have helped countless abused women get out of prison.
When I came to feminism, there were no laws protecting lesbians from discrimination and abuse; violent men often won custody of children when women left a marriage; and domestic violence was treated by police as a ‘private matter’. All of this changed because of active feminists, as opposed to those who sit on social media virtue-signalling.
In fact, a woman reporting rape five years ago had a much better chance of seeing justice done than she does today. There were 1,917 fewer rapists convicted in the year to December 2020 than in 2016-17, a decline of 64 per cent.
In the current climate of misogyny, many young women are turning on feminists like me rather than pointing the finger at abusive men. Yet there are young feminists doing invaluable work to challenge male violence and bring about women’s liberation.
Tumblr media
Julie said social media activism isn't the answer, as the #MeToo movement is no substitute for action. Pictured: A women's liberation protest in 1971
The campaigning group We Can’t Consent to This, which successfully abolished the ‘rough sex’ defence so often used by men who kill women, continues the work I was involved in as a young feminist when we, too, abolished the insidious defence of ‘provocation’, used by a number of men who’d killed their wives because of ‘nagging’ or alleged infidelity.
Of the 1,000-plus women attending the 50th anniversary of the Women’s Liberation Movement conference in London, in February 2020, a minority, but significant number, were in their 20s.
And when I launched my new book last month in London, well over 100 of the 250 books I signed were for women under the age of 30, with some in their teens.
Right now, we need feminism more than ever, but not the kind that puts men first. In the real world prostitution is not a liberating career ‘choice’, and increasingly violent pornography is not ‘sex-positive’.
Neither is social media activism the answer. The #MeToo movement is no substitute for action. Let’s point the finger at men who rape rather than expecting yet more women to lay bare their horrific experiences.
We live in a world in which rape, femicide and everyday abuse and harassment are ever present.
To change it, we need to be united and not divided by generational conflict. Somehow, and urgently, we must find a way to bridge the gap. Fighting among ourselves wastes time — and there is no time to lose.
Feminism for Women: The Real Route to Liberation, by Julie Bindel, (£16.99, Little Brown) is out now.

@fullheartedlyprovocative
Very good point! Many people who aren’t from the UK are probably not aware of the impending disaster that is Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
I keep describing him as a clown, incompetent and overall destructive to society as a whole, but i’ve failed to go into detail. And the reason is simple: There’s just far too much to cover in a concise and efficient way. It is very literally a massive rabbit hole that knows no end.
But i should probably collate some of his more memorable moments, so that everyone can get a rough idea about who he is exactly and why we’re all dead inside.
Bojo is often described as clownish, but don’t let that fool you into thinking he’s harmless. He’s as Machiavellian as a politician can get, and he weaponises his clownish behaviour in order to cover up his corruption. He has this down to an Art.
A recent example of his perception manipulation:
During the Brexit referendum, Boris was heavily campaigning for Leave, and he infamously commissioned a big red Bus with this message on it, claiming that the 350 million currently going to EU membership will be redirected to the UKs NHS (National Health Service), this was a massive deal and fueled the leave campaign.
Tumblr media
This was also a massive lie, and he was (rightly) hated for it.
The Bus Lie hung over Boris long after the referendum. When you’d type up Boris Johnson on Google, it would suggest the Bus scandal as an auto-complete search, bringing up countless articles on the lie that had clearly tarnished Boris’ reputation.
However, during the leadership campaign, Boris did something extraordinary. While being interviewed about his leadership bid, he was asked what he does for fun. This was his response:
youtube
Hilarious. Ridiculous. Blustering. Making it up as he went along. It quickly became an interview widely mocked across social media and news outlets. Why did he make himself sound like such an idiot? Why buses? This is why:
Tumblr media
He is not only immune to being mocked, he has weaponised it to cover up his biggest controversies. Typing up “Boris Johnson Bus” now yields funny clips of him struggling to get through an interview talking about painting little buses. His Bus Scandal has almost been entirely pushed out of the picture.
That is only the tip of the Boris shaped iceberg.
His clowning has gotten him national and international mockery. Who can forget that time Boris (while Mayor of London) got stuck on a zip-line because he was too heavy?
Tumblr media
Or that time that he got overly competitive in a game of rugby against kids and tackled a child.
Tumblr media
Or that time during a recent Leadership debate where he pulled out a literal Kipper and waved it about, declaring that “we will get our Kippers BACK when we leave the EU!”
Tumblr media
What a silly man. How completely harmless he must be.
Well while the nation struggles to get these images out of their heads, collectively we have forgotten many of his greatest sins.
One sin still hangs above him... An ongoing scandal that has endangered the life of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe.
In 2017 Nazanin had travelled to Iran from the UK to visit her parents, when she was detained by authorities under suspicion of coming to Iran in order to train journalists. In 2017 when Boris was Foreign Secretary and during Nazanins trial, Boris made this statement to the news:
“When I look at what Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe was doing, she was simply teaching people journalism, as I understand it,”
This was considered damning evidence that was used against Nazanin. She is still imprisoned today. Her husband in the UK has been tirelessly campaigning for her release, going on a joint hunger-strike with her. Boris refuses to take any responsibility for his comments or apologise for what he has caused.
This isn’t the first or last time Boris has been reckless with his words.
Very recently, Sir Kim Darroch (the UKs (now former) ambassador to the US) suffered a memo leak, in which unflattering remarks regarding Donald Trumps presidency surfaced. The leak was unfortunate, but the comments made were not unprofessional and entirely expected from a foreign diplomat. But Trump wasn’t happy and applied pressure to the UK government to fire Darroch for doing his job. The entire UK government united behind Darroch and supported him...... well... almost the entire government. During a live debate, the final two leadership candidates were asked about the Darroch situation, and whether Darroch would remain in his job if they become PM. Boris refused to comment and avoided the question as usual. However since Boris was the favourite to win, Darroch realised he had no hope, so he resigned. Boris was cited as the main reason and was widely criticised.
Before Boris was a politician, he was a journalist. And in recent years, a very unsavoury recording surfaced from his time as a Journalist in 1990...A phone recording between him and Darius Guppy, where the two conspired to have a reporter physically hurt. (Somehow this is the only youtube video available on this...)
youtube
Boris has also been known to have absolutely no filter and speaks before he thinks. Such comments are a result of this.
He had referred to black people as “Piccaninnies” with “watermelon smiles”
In 2018 he had referred to Muslim women wearing burkas as looking like “letter-boxes”
At a conference on Libya in 2017 he claimed that the country could become a thriving luxury resort once they “cleared the dead bodies away”
In 2013 he claimed that Malyasian women went to University because they “have to find men to marry”
In 2006 he claimed that Barack Obama had an “ancestral dislike of the British empire – of which Churchill had been such a fervent defender”
All of this... and we haven’t even covered his politics yet.
This is the big reason why he’s becoming PM and it’s simple. He’s lying to everyone.
He’s promising everything to everyone. He’s promised a soft brexit to some, a hard brexit to others. But he refuses to explain how he would achieve either. He’s only now clearly settling on the side of a hard-brexit, or what’s considered a No-Deal brexit (walking away from the EU without striking a trade deal), but he has no answers for any questions posed to him.
His debating strategy, and interview strategy is to make people laugh until they forget what they asked him.
When asked "Is austerity a dead duck at this point?” he ended up rambling about ducks for a solid minute and making the audience giggle before giving a very vague and nothing answer
When debating with leadership rival Jeremy Hunt, he won over the audiences heart by interrupting Hunt with immature jokes.
After declaring that he knows exactly what he’s doing in regards to a No-Deal brexit, he tells everyone that he will follow “Paragraph 5B” of a document that will supposedly solve the Brexit crisis. He repeats “Paragraph 5B” constantly, giving the impression that he’s a man of detail and knows the entire document like the back of his hand. When asked if he knew what was in Paragraph 5C, he simply states “no” and tries to play it off like it’s funny. Without a studio audience to laugh at him, he was simply left in the silence of an astounded interviewer. This is one of the many reasons why he had avoided as many interviews as possible during his leadership campaign.
The fact is, no one knows what he really stands for, no one knows what he’ll really do. He’s a wild-card, or more appropriately, the Joker card. He seems crazy enough and chaotic enough to go through with No-Deal that people are voting for him. But so many people are going to be disappointed. This is a man who says he’s always wanted to be Prime Minister ever since he was 15. He wants power for the sake of power. And for some reason, the Tory party are handing him that power.
There’s so much more to go into, but this is a good initial crash-course into Bojo, the literal clown.

UK; NG — . In recent months, several prominent feminists have been inundated with threats of violence and death after publicly acknowledging female biology or expressing opposition to the very modern notion that there is no notable difference between women and male individuals who identify as women.
Rosie Duffield
Rosie Duffield, a British Labour Party Member of Parliament for Canterbury, pulled out of the Labour Party conference last month after being advised of threats to her safety. The threats were the latest in a bullying campaign that ramped up against the MP last year after she liked a tweet suggesting “individuals with a cervix” are “women.”
Tumblr media
Ms Duffield explained that, as one of only “500 women who have been through the doors of the House of Commons, compared with 5,000 men,” she had been on the receiving end of misogynistic abuse, including intimidation at her home and threats from Twitter trolls, since taking the seat in 2017. However, the increased vitriol she received after acknowledging that the only humans who have a cervix are female has left her “completely terrified,” she stated last October.
“The more abuse you get, the more nervous you are,” Ms Duffield said following her withdrawal from the conference. “I find myself doing live television or speaking events and really carefully reframing what I want to say. That can make me quite angry, because it means I am not being myself, so it does really affect you.” On the matter, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons, stated: “Parliamentarians, who have been elected to speak up for their constituents, should be able to attend their own party conference without fear of harm.”
Tumblr media
JK Rowling
At the Trans Pride protest in London this past June, trans extremists prominently displayed placards calling for the death of British author JK Rowling, who is best known for writing children’s books. A sign inked in bright red lettering that read “#Kill J.K. Rowling” was placed on Bomber Command Memorial, a war memorial in Green Park. Two men marched together with a placard in the colors of the pink and blue trans flag and shaped like a heart. The words “Rot in Hell Rowling” were scrawled in black across the heart.
Tumblr media
Other photos of the protest show marchers, including Sarah Baker – a transgender-identifying male who became an activist after serving prison time for the kidnapping and torture of a family member and the attempted murder of a fellow inmate – holding signs written in the same hand as the “#Kill J.K. Rowling” sign.
Tumblr media
Threats to harm or kill the children’s author became plentiful after she famously tweeted, “People who menstruate. I’m sure there used to be a word for those people.” Following a backlash against the tweet, in which she was branded a “TERF” by trans extremists, Ms Rowling offered reassurance that she “respect[s] every trans person’s right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them” and “would march with you if you were discriminated against on the basis of being trans.” Ms Rowling noted, however, that despite her support for the trans community, “sex is real and has lived consequences,” and “my life has been shaped by being female.” Her tweets fueled a torrent of abuse by trans extremists that is ongoing.
Tumblr media
One that stands out was transgender-identifying activist and model Tara Wolf’s ominous challenge to JK Rowling last year: “Meet me outside! Hyde Park! Let’s f**king have at it, you c**t!” Mr Wolf became infamous in 2018 after joining two other transgender-identifying young men in a vicious attack on women’s right campaigner Maria Maclachlan. Ms Maclachlan was attending a feminist gathering at Speaker’s Corner that the pack of youths were opposed to. At the trial of her attacker, Ms Maclachlan was reprimanded by a judge and later punished with a denial of compensation for the violent crime, because Ms Maclachlan did not remember to consistently refer to her male attacker with his preferred female pronouns throughout her testimony.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, whose works include novels, short stories and non-fiction, received international backlash from trans extremists and at least one graphic death threat earlier this year after describing as  “a perfectly reasonable piece” an essay in which Ms Rowling expounded on her reasons for “speaking out on sex and gender issues.”
Tumblr media
Akwaeke Emezi, a Nigerian lgbo and Tamil writer who released debut novel Freshwater in 2018, the year she also publicly revealed a ‘non-binary’ identity, urged people to take violent action against her former mentor Ms Adichie. “I trust there are other people who will pick up machetes to protect us from the harm transphobes like Adichie and Rowling seek to perpetuate,” she posted in one of a series of tweets in January, and noted that she herself would be enjoying peaceful time in her garden while others carried out the massacre.
Tumblr media
According to an essay written by Ms Adichie, Ms Emezi first attacked her after a 2017 interview, in which Ms Adichie had stated, “I don’t think it’s a good thing to talk about women’s issues being exactly the same as the issues of trans women.” Following the interview, Ms Emezi had compared Ms Adichie to a “murderer.” Trans extremist trolls from around the world had flooded Ms Adichie’s Facebook comments and Twitter mentions at the time, leveling threats of violence and racist abuse, challenging her intellect and demeaning her nationality. Without naming names, Ms Adichie’s 2021 essay called out “certain young people” who, while “social-media-savvy,” are
Tumblr media
Ms Emezi raged that the essay was referring to her, and was “designed to incite hordes of transphobic Nigerians to target me.” Noting the bloodthirsty attacks on women who dare to point out that biology and certain experiences and challenges faced by women and girls do not precisely align with those of males who identify as transgender, one feminist wryly remarked: “We’ll let females at serious risk of FGM [female genital mutilation], forced pregnancies, baby farming, death during pregnancy, etc., just suffer it cause addressing and focusing on those issues [is] not ‘inclusive’.”

Let’s take a peek in MM’s Diary
Tumblr media
Dear Diary,
Well, I am livid this evening!  Mio screwed up BIG TIME!  He had one job to do....cover my a$$!  I am so done with him...I am going to write my own book,  I have the Title picked already...”My Trials and Enduring Them All While Still Smiling, Dealing With Tumblr Haters, The Press Haters, BRF Haters, BRF Staff Haters, The UK Haters, and the BLM Gang that I proudly am the Voice of.”
Here are MY first set of questions that I decided the public has a right to know....
What scent were the air fresheners at church for the wedding
After viewing lawn bowls from Frogmore Cottage, did MM ever play the ‘elegant’ game?
Do bubbles bubble more in a copper bath?
What role did the horses play in Archie Darren Dolls birth to warrant thanks?
Where is the certificate for ‘Biggest Social Climber’ displayed in TPs mansion?
What brand of insect repellent would be recommended for a pregnant woman in a Zika hot spot?
Did Archie Darren Dolls facial expression fresh from the birth canal change much over his first two weeks?
What was MMs present to and from HMTQ last Christmas?
What does an elephants skin feel like?
For the ultimate way to express displeasure towards staff, would MM recommend Darleejing or Ceylon?
1.  The aroma I was seeking was the essence of purity....(this is a secret I am sharing).....in order to ruin my day, someone changed my order and instead we ended up with a aroma of pine cones....you know the ones hanging in cars, barns, Soho houses.....
1.  Many have wondered about my extraordinary talents.  I am not one to brag as we know, but I am amazing at...caligifying things, writing (duh), dancing, supermodelling, stealing, copycatting, dressing, pole dancing...with or without pole...and Lawn Bowling.  Who knew right?
1.  Bubble, bubble, bubbles more in my copper tub,
Rub me, rub me, rub a dub dub!
Yes, I also am a poet.  I know enquiring minds are expecting me to give scientifx evidence of this....every single time Hairy and I have been out and about I get asked if bubbles bubble more in my very expensive, fancy pants copper tub...the answer is..NO!  MY bath time is MY time.  I get in and soak until I get wrinkly, I do all my conference calls at this time, I chat with myself...and I sip on my wine boxes.  By the time I am done...not one bubble is seen....
1.  I am always, always asked “what role did the horses play in Archie Darren Doll’s birth....I will share this very private information.  They were the witnesses.  See, the box arrived...and it came with the birth certificate that had to be filled out.  Only Hairy and I were there..I signed, Hairy refused.  I needed witnesses....being my brilliant self, I took the birth certificate out to the garage where the horses were, and got their hoof prints...sent Hairy off to file it.  We were so grateful...like really.  Who knew horses could be so kind?  Who knew?
1.  Whenever Hairy and I go out and about, always incognito...I get stopped and asked if anything is new?  I so desperately want to tell everyone about my award I received from Tyler himself...the “BIGGEST SOCIAL CLIMBER” AWARD.....the only other person to ever win this was Amber Heard.....to be in the same company with her, she must be in awe.  I am not to tell anyone though, it’s a secret that I was awarded this prestigious award.  Thank you. Tyler! Kiss kiss.....
1.  When in a place far away...sorry can’t recall where.....it was a foggy time for me, new fakeancy....but I remember I needed a spray....for something...but it turned out my perfume would keep insects of all kind away...this is a secret...I wear Deep Woods eau de toilet. This is info I am sharing because I have a voice, and I can save lives.
1.  Everyone wants to talk about the birth of my Archie Darren Doll, so I would like to speak on that.  Before his birth, it was a very dark night.  The birds were chirping in a UK twang like accent, the breeze outside so calming, my phone ringing constantly with reporters wanting details of the birth, me making up lies to hide and cover as we waited for the box to arrive by FedEx...anyways...the moment arrived..FedEx arrived, Archie Darren Doll arrived...I couldn’t believe it....his little face scrunched in a very awkward..almost like plastic way...two weeks with the same expression.  We waited for it to change....then I found the instructions....he needed to be inflated just a touch....from then on nothing but smiles from ARchie Darren Doll....
1.  Everyone constantly is asking...what I gave the Kween for Christmas last year....well I gave her the book There WILL Be More Than One Queen....a lovely book actually.  It’s about a very sneaky conniving hediho, who makes it big and marries a Prince and decides she will be the new Queen in town and around the world.  I love that book, I found it to be very inspirational.  I thought the Kween would enjoy it, a little bit of worry is good for everyone now and then.  The Kween gave me an IOU.  I don’t know when but the card said “be staying at Her Majesty’s request”.....I don’t know, I’m still waiting...
1.  I am always asked while I am walking out and about incognito what elephants skin feels like....now this is tough.  I have to say very much like a plush toy.  I have only ever seen videos of course, but I did get a plush one when I went to the San Diego Zoo.
1.  Every time I am out and about incognito I get asked about staff, and displeasure with them...I have to say my only displeasure is with the females.  The two I am referring to are Darleejing and Ceylon.
As you can see putting a book together takes time....I am so known all over the world, so many have questions...so many are jelly...I need a bath and a couple boxes of wine now....see Diary.
Love ME.....
Hugs to ME
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh...I must remember to tell everyone about my new Charity...
“I need money now”......

Peptides can be absorbed by your pores through the skin. The molecules of these proteins are very large, so they can only be absorbed by your pores if the peptide has a long half-life and is enclosed by a peptidoglycan shield. This means the molecule has to be broken down inside the stomach into smaller fragments before it is able to enter the bloodstream. Other than being used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, peptides are also used in supplements to increase the levels of amino acids in the body. They also act as natural immune system boosters and improve wound healing.
youtube
Unlike with collagen and elastin products, peptides cannot be inserted just anywhere on your skin. This is because the peptide molecules are too large to penetrate through many of your skin's layers. These molecules do have the ability to interact with the dermis and connective tissues though. But this happens after they have been integrated and couldn't be further from the truth. The right way to use peptide supplements is to replenish your body's supply of these building blocks and you will see the results immediately.
Peptides have a number of uses. They can act as neurotransmitters by delivering information across the synapses. Peptides can activate or inhibit the different enzymes and receptors that carry out the transport of information across the synapse. Peptides also have roles in immunity and growth. Peptides have also been shown to be involved in the production of different enzymes such as histone acetyl-transferase, which helps in the synthesis of collagen and elastin and non-genetic RNases, which help in the production of DNA strands as well as various protein fragments.
Neuropeptides.
The reason for the confusion is that some people think that the use of peptides is like applying muscle building compounds to the skin, in that it "weals" the skin by increasing the number of amino acids that are present. In reality, peptides are single-protein molecules, composed of a single chain of amino acid. Unlike amino acids that are found in proteins like the casein protein, which is found in mammals and other living organisms, peptides are nonprotein materials that cannot be converted to proteins.

The best way to understand how peptides work is to consider how DNA is formed. DNA is a string of fifty amino acids that, when put together in the right way, form a strand of genetic information that makes up the genetic code of a cell. The sequence of amino acids that make up DNA is called A, C, G, T, and J. While the sequence itself doesn't change, the arrangement of the atoms that make up this DNA structure does change. For instance, when you compare your DNA to the genetic code in bacteria and other organisms, you will see differences in how the letters of the code are written. This is how scientists identify living things with a genetic code.

Another ingredient with a lot of potential is the use of copper peptides. Shop BPC157 Online is considered a very important mineral and a lot of experts believe that it has very positive effects on the health. The use of copper peptides is believed to increase the availability of oxygen and supply of nutrients to injured cells.
What can you not mix with vitamin C serum?
Ingredients you should never mix with vitamin CVitamin C + Benzoyl peroxide. Vitamin C + Retinol. Vitamin C + AHAs/BHAs. Vitamin C + Niacinamide.
Several researchers are also studying the benefits of peptide hormones like creatine peptides for improved athletic performance, immune function, wound healing, flexibility, muscle mass and weight loss. Creatine peptides increase your energy and it also regulates blood glucose. It also improves endurance and increases lean body mass. In addition, the release of creatine peptides reduces free radical molecules and increases the antioxidant capacity.
A Lot More From The Times And The Sunday Times
Another peptide, an amino acid called arginine is also being looked at. A recent study showed that the intake of arginine peptides significantly promoted the formation of collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are the building blocks of connective tissues and are very important in skin, muscle and ligament fibers. Another peptide that is believed to promote health is the L-glutamine. Recent studies showed that L-glutamine prevents the breakdown of muscle protein.

It is important to note that peptide supplements cannot replace healthy eating and exercise. They are simply there to compliment what you're getting from a balanced diet and adequate sleep. The right nutrition, exercise and enough rest to allow your body to produce the right amount of amino acids for healthy cellular growth and repair. So make sure you get plenty of fruits, vegetables and fibrous proteins like those found in whole grains.

There are two main ways in which peptides are used today. One uses their use to stimulate or improve an existing biological function, such as the production of collagen in the skin or breast tissue or the production of neurotransmitters in the brain; the other uses their use in supplements designed to improve a person's diet or enhance his or her body's ability to fight disease. Research has shown that peptides can reduce the symptoms of arthritis, improve muscle growth, increase the production of neurotransmitters in the brain, stimulate cell regeneration in the brain, fight infections, and perform many other physiological functions. Some research indicates that peptides may also prevent cancer and extend life. More research is still needed to determine whether or not these claims are valid.

The amino acid bodybuilders use in their diets is a source of peptides; however, there is no scientific evidence that these bodybuilding peptides have any beneficial effect on muscle growth. On the other hand, peptides have many uses in the medical and health care field. Peptides play an important role in many functions in your body, including immunity, wound healing, and the body's thermostat control. Because of these many uses, peptides are a promising alternative to more traditional forms of protein supplementation.
Welcome To Imuscle Sarms Uk.
Peptides are relatively non-proteinous components of proteins. a company that offers consist of chains of up to thirty amino acids, attached by peptide chains, or peptides. Chains of less than fifteen or twenty amino acids are known as peptides and comprise polypeptide chains, tripeptide chains, and hexapeptide chains.
No need for a long period of time period off in between cycles; the recommended time of duration for regular cycles would be Time on +PCT, so for a typical 6 week cycle as well as 4 week PCT, an individual would certainly need to wait another 10 weeks after PCT to begin another cycle.
SARMs can not be aromatized, conferring all their results to AR binding as well as not to metabolic conversion to energetic androgens/estrogens.
Additionally unlike S4, Ostarine does not have androgenic homes in non muscle tissue.
In our viewpoint, along with lean gains in muscle mass, Recomping is where Ostarine actually beams.
Just really hope the scientific research remains to prove this is risk-free as this is better than moderate orals.
Am already seeing results lot even more stamina and also power and the weight is falling off.
Peptides have biological activity, which includes formation of chemicals called peptides and release of neurotransmitters (neurotransmitters are chemicals that send signals across the nerve cells). Peptides have multiple effects on the body; some are considered important for survival, others are involved in metabolism, others are involved in development and some play a role in immunity. Peptides can be classified according to their molecular type (amine, cysteine, glycine, proline, taurine, GABA, molybdenum, methionine, arginine, etc.) and according to their metabolic function (cytoplasmic, exocytosis, metabolism, etc.). pharmalabglobal.com 99% Purity Tb500 free trial can be classified further according to their physiological role (cytoplasmic, myostatin, glycolysis, etc.)
These peptides are effective in increasing skin cell proliferation and improving collagen and elastin fibers. They have been shown to improve skin firmness and elasticity. You can get thicker, fuller looking skin from the use of these ingredients.
What peptides do bodybuilders use?
Peptide types for bodybuilding Bodybuilders may be particularly interested in peptides known as growth hormone secretagogues (GHS). The most popular GHSs people use for bodybuilding include: Growth-hormone releasing hormones: such as sermorelin, tesamorelin, CJC-1293, and CJC-1295.
Peptides are long sequences of amino acids, attached by peptide bonds, which are part of many protein complexes. Commonly known as peptides, chains of up to fifteen or twenty amino acids are known as monomers and include peptides, thermoform, unfolding peptides, polypeptide chains, peptides and ribosomes. The term 'peptide' is derived from the Greek word pets, meaning 'protein', and logos (peptide head) are visible in chemical structures (such as a polypeptide bond) when light has broken a bond. Peptides can be single-stranded (one-chain) or double stranded (two chains). The double-stranded form is more soluble and is generally considered less bioavailable than the single-stranded form.
Peptides can combine with other amino acid molecules in a peptide chain to produce new proteins (which are also known as peptides). The most common type of peptide is a mixture of amino acids known as peptides. These peptides have an extended base that is complementary to another amino acid, which is called a peptide chain.
Tumblr media
Peptides can be made in the lab from proteins that have already been analyzed or are available in raw form in a variety of foods. Alternatively, peptides can be derived from peptides derived from non-protein sources. Peptides serve as building blocks for most proteins and are involved in many chemical reactions that change the shape of amino acids and other molecules. They are used in medicine to synthesize many medications, including antibiotics, hormones, and blood-glucose regulators. Peptides also play a role in the body's immune system.
While there are some people who believe that amino acids can help people to build strength and muscle mass, very little evidence exists to support this belief. Although it may be true that amino acids help to build strength and muscle mass, there is no clear evidence that they do so. Similarly, while it is true that some people may have an easier time developing muscles than others due to their intake of creatine peptides, there is no scientific evidence to support this hypothesis.

International/General News
Eurovision is canceled. Lovers of sparkles and cheesy ballads weep in the streets.
I’m blasting ABBA in mourning and encourage you to join me
Many places are closing liquor stores, bars, and restaurants. This is very concerning for people who are dependent on alcohol as they are at high risk for withdrawal. Public health measures to mitigate this are necessary
The US-Canada border is now closed. Holy shit. Essential business is still allowed but still. Holy shit.
Cuba is working with China to test interferon-alpha as a potential therapy for the virus. Watch this space for further news.
I’m less optimistic about this one than the favipiravir I mentioned yesterday because interferons are a way less directed therapy but the trials will tell the story!
Vaccine trials continue in Seattle, United States. Authorities of the state of Washington are asking for healthy volunteers to join the trial.
Antibody trials are underway in the Netherlands.
The United States has a major shortage of testing supplies, still.
US immigration enforcement are a bunch of bastards. Still.
Italy has promoted a bunch of senior medical students to start practicing in the outpatient setting so more seasoned doctors can work in the hospitals.
As a senior medical student, this frightens me personally.
Virology Corner
Today’s question is: Why 6 feet of separation? How does that help? How is COVID-19 spread?
Let’s start with how COVID-19 is spread. It’s a respiratory virus, so it is spread by respiratory droplets, aka the garbage you breathe/cough/sneeze out.
A good hard sneeze won’t launch your eyeballs out, but it will launch nasty shit up to 6 feet away from you at a shocking speed. (This is why you should Dracula when you sneeze.)
6 feet is a great rule of thumb to keep people out of each other’s sneeze radius, so they can’t get in contact with each other’s respiratory droplets.

I actually speak French and for once that’s useful. Yay. *twirly finger*
Suck on that, google translate.
I am going to spend like, an hour tonight updating the relevant Wikipedia articles, pray for me

French regions have more hyphens than my last name
I’ve left these names in their French language forms, if it would be helpful to translate (e.g. Bretagne to Brittany, Corse to Corsica) I can do that, just let me know.
Affected overseas territories include: Guadeloupe (27), Saint-Barthélémy (3), Saint-Martin (3), Guyane (11), Martinique (19), Mayotte (3), La Réunion (12)
I’ve split out France vs overseas territories for both readability and geographic sense. More granular data will happen over the next few days as I get a handle on the situation there.
Don’t get me started on neocolonialism. We’d be here all day and then there wouldn’t be a newsletter.

Sorry Mom, I’m sad about Eurovision being canceled. You can find a different song you don’t hate.
Sing the first verse and chorus to follow CDC handwashing guidelines! Use soap and water with bad 70s-esque dancing for maximum efficacy and embarrassment of anyone stuck at home/work with you.

About this newsletter I’m Emily, I’m a 4th year med student w/ a degree in molecular biology. I started this because I’m an infectious disease and epidemiology nerd and also all my friends have questions & anxiety. Hi internet! The archive/proper website is located at coronaextranewsletter.wordpress.com. All this info is sourced from regional & national public health organizations, plus the WHO. It’s as up to date as humanly possible. I’ve been beaming information about this outbreak directly into my brain 24/7 but I still miss stuff. Please let me know if I miss something! Most public health departments stop updating their information around 4-5 PM local time on weekdays. That means that the earliest this will come out is around 6 PM Pacific time on weekdays going forward. On weekends things update more sporadically and earlier, so who knows what I’ll do then, but I’ll do my best. The excellent title is courtesy of @marywhal and the Wordpress site is courtesy of @molly0xFFF and @goblintinkerer, thank you all!
