and the Prophecy shawl is released upon the internet! I finished this thing back in April, when I'd been working on it off-and-on for a couple months. This is my very first shawl, and I created the design myself. I used a 'wingspan' shape, lace cables, eyelets, and a wave-like 'old shale' design. The cables and the waves are each in sets of 5 to call back to Ewen and Keith's 5 meetings. I also took inspiration from the "roots of trees entwined" passage in the eyelet rows and the cables. This shawl is so soft and light and I feel immensely proud of myself wearing it :]

My step dad and mom have known each other since they were like 5 and so my mom and my step dads family have always been close so like i do consider them my grandparents, ive seen them more than ive seen my biological grandparnts on one side. Jim and my grandma got divorced when my dad was like 5 and my grandma got with this guy named larry (a different larry lol) who i see more than i see jim so like that counts to me.

6. Jim (he had a lot to do with us when we were small but after my dad died him and my mom had a falling out but i do remember him so he counts)
