Please enjoy these screenshots of my Sims 4 pilot program! I did my best to keep their appearances and personalities as close to canon as possible but they're far from perfect lol.

Bonus discord reaction:
Oh yeah btw the goal is for them to all be in love bc the sims dropped a romantic boundaries update where you can specify if sims get jealous when their partner flirts/is romantic with another sim so i set them all to no.
#while i love the complex and sincere relationships between them in game#also i kinda just want them all to kiss and be in love#so i made it happen#sims#sims 4#misfits and magic#misfits and magic 2#mismag#mismag 2#the pilot program#poly misfits#poly pilot program#simsfits and magic#i'm gonna tag that in case i post more abt them#you're too loud al

okay I need to know everything about the backstory for Tren’s Xenoanatomy
AHHHHH i would love to talk about one of my trek fics!! especially my very first foray into mckirk :D
im gonna put this under a readmore bc i feel like giving myself permission to ramble today lmao
so tren's xenoanatomy specifically came about because we were watching one of those doctors-react videos about gray's anatomy and it occurred to me how much more hilariously off the wall medical shows would be in universes like star trek where there are nonhuman species around as well, and jim and bones just felt like the perfect couple to play with that idea with.
tren's xenoanatomy is also technically a companion piece for a larger spock x oc fic that will admittedly almost certainly never be finished or posted, but where basically after all of the bullfuckery the enterprise crew had been put through, they're made a part of the pilot program where starfleet starts assigning therapists to starships--particularly those on more extended missions. i do very much love nel, tho. i think he's one of my oldest ocs and he amuses me greatly because when high school merlyn first created him, he was norah. but then you grow up and you look at spock and you realize how incredibly homosexual he is. and so you simply trans your oc. and now his name is nel and he's still a therapist but he's also a hotter-than-thou top with a dildo collection worthy of a museum.
excuse the old art, we stay improving lmao.
anyway, back to the actual subject characters of the fic you asked for 😂😂 mckirk sort of continues to happen in the background of the main fic, and they've been in this same refusing-to-put-a-label-on-it holding pattern pretty much since the academy and the events of tren's xenoanatomy. are they friends? lovers? boyfriends? married? divorced? who's to say. neither of them. they of course get their shit together eventually, though. and also end up in an even stranger poly situation with a romulan woman named verelan that defects to starfleet after Events™️. it starts off very jim, jim's boyfriend, and jim's boyfriend's girlfriend, but jim grows on her eventually. like mold.
here's a nice little morning snippet of the three of them, as a treat since i went off on a wild tangent here and im not even sure if ive managed to answer the question 😂😂 don't let her softness with leonard here fool you, this is immediately followed by her declaring that the solution to his custody issues with his ex-wife is that she enter ritual combat with said ex-wife on his behalf.
“Dammit, Jim, what have I told you about fryin’ bacon without a damn shirt on?” “That you’re not fixing it if I burn a nipple off,” Jim prattles off. He tilts his head to the side in a clear demand for a kiss on the cheek. Leonard rolls his eyes but indulges him anyway. “Which we both know is bullshit, by the way. You love me too much to let me walk around with just one nipple.” “Try me, kid,” he grumbles, shuffling over to the stools lining the opposite side of the kitchen counter and settling into one. Jim sets a mug of coffee in front of him a moment later and Leonard tilts his chin up for a real kiss before Jim pads back over to the stove. “Thanks, Jim.” Jim just kind of grunts in answer, and Leonard snorts a little. Both of them glance up at the sound of feet on the stairs, and Leonard smiles softly when Verelan comes into sight. “Mornin’, darlin’.” He gets a small, fond smile in return, and she ducks down to kiss the top of his head once she’s close enough, resting a hand on his back as she does so. “Good morning, Leonard.” “Hey, where’s my kiss good morning?” complains Jim from the stove, letting his voice go all high and reedy in the way he knows annoys her the most. Leonard feels Verelan straighten behind him, and a glance up confirms that her eyes have narrowed at the blond. He doesn’t feel the need to intervene quite yet; this sort of interplay is fairly standard. Jim can’t breathe unless he’s winding someone up, and unfortunately for the Romulan, she tends to make it easy for him. “You do not get one, James,” Verelan drawls. “I do not like you.” “No, no,” says Jim, grinning now, unabashedly. “Pancake tax.” They stare at each other, Jim continuing to grin while Verelan visibly sizes him up, trying to determine how serious he is. Leonard snorts again and is ignored wholesale. He sort of can’t believe she’s considering it this far; she must really want those damn pancakes. She hasn’t figured out yet that Jim would go hungry himself long before he denied food to anyone else. Verelan finally folds first around the time that the standoff starts to remind Leonard of a pair of feral barn cats, her eyes narrowing a millimeter further before she gives a frustrated growl and all but stomps over to bestow a begrudging kiss to Jim’s cheek. Shit that he is, Jim just beams and leans into it.
#asks#moot posting#tren's xenoanatomy#mckirk#spock x oc#jim x bones x oc#this is probably one of the least coherent ask responses ive given in a minute but we're just gonna go with it

I should be sleeping, but the post-special MisMag thoughts wanna come out NOW. So forgive my late night incoherency as I type out my thoughts in whatever order they come to me.
1. I would pay money to see art of K's legendary Tad Party outfit. They are gorgeous.
2. Any pronoun K my beloved, I will continue to project my entire gender on you
3. I can't remember the exact context, but there was a moment where someone called Evan a man and he said something like "not for long!" Which I'm sure was just an offhand joke in context that meant something else but also: trans!femme Evan my beloved. (Edit post rewatch: this was when Evan made the wild decision to magically track Tad by scent, to which Aabria argued "You're a man!" and his response was "For now!" Clearly a joke but I stand by what I said.)
4. Axelby screentime!!!!!
5. Dr. Boodle is NOT the headmaster after all, which I do like (even if it's a retcon) if this is going to be a continuing story. If things ended season 1 it would've be a nice setting detail for the ending, but this feels more appropriate for both the world that's been established and also for interesting plot moving forward.
6. Mismag timeline my beloathed
7. Evil things suddenly pausing to go "Hey Sam" is now my favorite running bit
8. Pleased and relived that they're actually calling Khan her preferred name now. I'm sure last season it was a mix of forgetfulness and trying to lean into Jammer's nickname angle, but it always set really wrong that they had that whole touching scene and then called her Cleo the rest of the season
9. I ended season 1 completely loving Jammer and Khan's entire dynamic, and mildly distasteful of Sam and Fergus (in that fun "oh they're Not Lasting way" rather than an actual story complaint). The special Immediately made both their relationships feel Doomed in a hilarious, believable, and bittersweet way.
10. In season 1 K was goth and edgy at first, and then overcorrected into Pink Princess territory, and then evened out into a more true to herself middle ground. I adore that Evan went through a kinda similar, though not as obvious, journey. At first he was overly awkward and constantly backpedaling, desperate to fit in and not be weird about his background or literal demons. Then after having his friends for a few months, he kinda absorbed in their personalities and actively seemed to reflect back and match the energy of the others. Now he's more evened out: more confident in himself and outspoken, not shying away from his shitty background especially when he believes that he has helpful knowledge to bring to the table.
11. Similar note: hyper vigilant Evan, ready to commit atrocities at a moments notice for his friends, is so damn important to me
12. I am once again back on my poly pilot program bullshit. Sir I'm love them.
13. If Brennan doesn't tell me what Evan got for the rest of the pilot kids I'm going to Scream. Directly in his ear. For an extended period of time.
14. The little details implying Evan and the nurse meet a lot <3 Evan has a stash of tiny cokes and an adult he can trust
15. Jammer's echo location. Just. That whole bit.
16. Sam wearing a slutty Mrs. Claus outfit, stabbing a horrible cryptid with a broken whiskey bottle, streamed live to thousands (if not millions) of watchers. Icon. Queen shit. I am free on Thursday please call me if you are available on Thursday when I am free.
17. I got you Fortnite coins

SHARE d20 THOUGHTS
bea you are so kind to me So kind. ok buckle in babes!
ranking d20 seasons by how compelled i feel to do a full scale rewrite picking apart and rearranging the bones
DISCLAIMER: this list is not in order of how much i like or dislike the seasons. i also recognize that in an improv format, especially comedy-focused, people make decisions that aren’t character or theme driven. none of the cast are Wrong for any of the choices i’m going to critique here. that’s just the name of the game. HOWEVER:
1. a starstruck odyssey
ah the reason i’m making this list. aso has SO MUCH POTENTIAL LIKE THERES SO MUCH GOOD STUFF IN THERE!!!!! i just think it failed to resolve its arcs satisfyingly. @cloudmancy and @grasslandgirl (EDIT: and @lichfucker ) have made GREAT posts on norman takamori which i encourage everyone to read and burn into their brains. but also like. the stuff with barry nyne drives me insane i hated that so much </3. why did prillbus choose him. how did the king of brain slugs get in a zoo exhibit. in the wise words of sav:

AND THE ARC PLAYED SO WELL WITH SID! which, by the way, the warfare whitneys getting remade falls into the same thing of like oh ok. sid dealing with being a keeper of souls didn’t actually matter bc she’s not anymore.
there’s just this aspect of. the random factor was stressed so often and it was so cool and delightful whenever things happened to align and like. the way that it turned out oh norman and skip and barry and marge are all connected to this world ending plot in the end! just felt so against that theme bc it was very clear and obvious where the metahand of narrative was coming in. like it would have been way more engaging and impactful if the wurst really had just randomly stumbled onto saving the galaxy ESPECIALLY bc thats their whole thing! no chosen ones no saviors we are a bunch of idiot mercenaries here by accident!
also loose duke should not have been on the ship they rly beat that one to death early lol
2. misfits and magic
i love mismag with all my heart and soul but that does not mean she is safe from me !!!!! people have beaten to death the centralization of evan in the narrative so i don’t think i have to talk about that but i also think k’s arc could have been a lot smoother. i love the feral princess i think it’s like k taking this thing that’s always been pushed onto them that’s pushed onto them again (aggressive femininity, girlhood) and making it their own but i wish they’d had the time and the space to lean more into that whole thing of like. Taking magic and forming it into what I WANT it to be. Nature AND nurture AND intention bc thats the whole. that’s the season’s whole self determination thing. anyways more jammer more sam!!! would have loved to see more of jammer’s team building i want him to give everyone nicknames i want to see him struggle with his world becoming so much bigger and more complex. and seeing more of sam’s leadership and the way she goes from internet influencer to like irl influence like the scene w her teaching the kids how to mukbang was so good i want more of that. ALSO poly pilot program real
3. a crown of candy
every day i think about the world where we got those four lost episodes. i don’t think it would fix everything but like acoc NEEDS more time towards the end, you can tell something is missing. honestly it’s so perfectly done for the first half and then it just kind of… falls off a tiny bit? there are moments towards the end that are fantastic but i really don’t like how it resolved. i feel like everyone and their mother has talked about liam’s wish and how rough that was (my personal favorite replacement for that choice is for a peppermint tree to grow over the spot where keradin and the pontifex are buried as a representation of the strengthening of magic in candia which might be august’s idea?) but also idk i just feel like cumulous didn’t hit as hard for me. and saccharina is the love of my life literally one of my fave characters ever but her cinnamon arc felt really rushed (which, yes, missing episodes). i just feel like after jet’s death the pacing and themes get so muddy (yes missing episodes yes i know). anyways brennan wishes he had what prince consort calroy doc and sweet religion doc have
4. mice and murder
mice and murder is SOOOO CLOSEEEE but it trips over the finish line. honestly some of it was the dice being fickle but like. there were choices. anyways i said it best when it was airing:

also i wish vicar ian had more to do. he had some killer moments but he didn’t feel as connected as the rest of the group did yknow
5. pirates of leviathan, fantasy high seasons 1 and 2, the seven aka The Spyre Spot
this is the spot in the list where i run out of specific rewrite energy but they’re not quite in the Perfect tier. honestly pirol is so good SO slept on i literally just wish it had better video quality which is no ones fault. also i wish it were longer so they had more time to get their footing! and fantasy high is classic and very good but there are still some things i would change (fabian in the nightmare forest for one! i hate how he isn’t taken seriously, acknowledgement that penelope and dayne blade were also children groomed by an ancient dragon, i think kristen’s arcs are a little clumsily done, etc). the seven is also delightful and hilarious and its themes are done beautifully but i did not think the combat was done well lol. i think brennan got some bad asks and wasn’t hard enough on saying no, and while again there were some really good moments i think it dragged more than combat normally does but that’s #justmysillyopinion
6. the unsleeping city, escape from the bloodkeep
the perfect seasons. i would not change a single thing, they achieve everything they set out to do and they do it beautifully. and hilariously!
7. shriek week, tiny heist
i liked these seasons but i don’t think there’s enough there to really dig in yknow? like i enjoyed my time but i don’t feel compelled to rewatch
8. tuc2 my beloathed
i’m sorry i just don’t care for tuc2 i pretend she doesn’t exist 💔
@catoptrific and @theamazinggrayson also asked about this!!

Walmart is seeking a crypto product lead, the Dogecoin Foundation is active again after a long break, Coinbase has amassed a $4 billion cash-backed war chest: Holder’s Digest, Aug. 15-21
Coming every Saturday, Hodler’s Digest will help you track every single important news story that happened this week. The best (and worst) quotes, adoption and regulation highlights, leading coins, predictions and much more — a week on Cointelegraph in one link.
Top Stories This Week
Walmart seeks crypto product lead to drive digital currency strategy
On Aug. 16, it was reported that U.S. retail giant Walmart was seeking out an experienced crypto expert who can develop and drive a digital currency strategy and product roadmap for the firm.
According to the job listing, Walmart is looking for someone with a track record of leading and scaling businesses. They also want at least 10 years of experience in product/program management and tech-based product commercialization.
Ideally, the candidate should also know a thing or two about crypto, blockchain tech and why JPEGs of poorly drawn pet rocks are selling for absurd prices on Ethereum.
Walmart’s future digital currency and crypto product lead will be based in the company’s home office in Bentonville, Arkansas. The state has produced talents such as Billy Bob Thornton and Johnny Cash, along with Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Team officially reestablishes Dogecoin Foundation after 6 years
There was good news for Doge fanatics this week as the Dogecoin Foundation resurfaced after several years of total media silence.
According to an announcement on Tuesday, the foundation stated it was reestablishing itself in a bid to support the fiery-eyed Dogecoin (DOGE) community. The foundation also said it would be announcing new projects that are centered on encouraging adoption of DOGE and promoting its utility.
The project’s website lists Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus and Dogecoin Core developer Max Keller as advisory board members. Furthermore, Tesla CEO and DOGE proponent Elon Musk’s interests may be catered to from the shadows via Neuralink CEO Jared Birchall.
It is yet to be revealed if Musk’s “toddler hodler” son has loaded up on DOGE in light of the announcement.
Coinbase amasses a $4B war chest so it can outlast ‘crypto winter’
Coinbase, the top U.S. crypto exchange, has amassed a cash-based war chest worth $4 billion on the back of two very productive quarters for the firm.
The company reportedly expected to use the cash to cover costs incurred by a variety of factors, including conforming to new regulations handed down by the United States legislature.
Coinbase has also announced its official launch in Japan in partnership with banking giant Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, while also revealing plans to add $500 million worth of crypto to its balance sheet and invest 10% of all generated profits into digital assets moving forward.
Winners and Losers
At the end of the week, Bitcoin is at $48,778, Ether at $3,282 and XRP at $1.28. The total market cap is at $2.09 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap.

Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum co-founder
“Here at home in America, […] our payments infrastructure is arguably the worst of any developed country in the world, and increasingly falling behind, while China is moving with determination and haste to build an infrastructure that will make the digital yuan a challenger to the dollar as the world’s reserve currency.”
David Marcus, Diem co-creator
“Ethereum is outperforming Bitcoin, and it can be expected to continue this trend for the rest of 2021.”
Nigel Green, CEO of DeVere Group
“This is all about DeFi. […] This is the Treasury Department trying to work out how to get jurisdiction over DeFi […] and also expand its warrantless surveillance over a peer-to-peer financial system.”

Mykhailo Fedorov, vice prime minister of Ukraine
“It’s important to remember that when we look at the business, the long-term arc of adoption of digital assets in crypto matters far more than the businesses we are building.”

Prediction of the Week
Ethereum ‘liquidity crisis’ could see new ETH all-time high before Bitcoin — Analyst
Bitcoin, the crypto industry’s largest asset by market cap, and Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest asset, have both posted notable price recoveries over the past several weeks. Although BTC has yet to be surpassed as the crypto industry’s top dog, ETH might tap its own all-time price high near $4,400 sooner than BTC reaches its record level of nearly $65,000, according to thoughts from CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju.
“$ETH might reach its all-time high earlier than $BTC in the long term,” Ju tweeted on Wednesday. “Current $ETH price is closer to ATH compared to $BTC. Higher demand, lower supply. $ETH sell-side liquidity crisis still intensifies, while $BTC exchange reserve stopped its downward trend in May.”
On Friday, BTC fluctuated above the $48,000 mark, and ETH traded above $3,200 — which, however, are both still notably shy of their record highs.
FUD of the Week
JPMorgan Chase reportedly shuts down bank accounts of Bitcoin mining firm
On Aug. 19, U.S. banking behemoth JPMorgan Chase reportedly blocked all account activities of Bitcoin mining firm Compass Mining.
Whit Gibbs, the CEO of Compass Mining, took to Twitter to share the news:
“Shoutout to @Chase for shutting down @compass_mining accounts for doing our part to replace the old guard with self-sovereign, future-focused supporters of hard money. Get behind #Bitcoin or get out of our way.”
It is unclear if the temper tantrum will be enough to sway JPMorgan Chase to change its mind, and it is also unclear how shutting down banking services to one Bitcoin mining firm represents an attack on BTC in any way.
If anything, the banking giant has been upping its exposure to Bitcoin and the crypto sector in 2021.
Liquid exchange hacked to the tune of $80 million
Liquid, a Japanese crypto exchange, was the victim of a $80 million-plus hack this week which made the platform not so… liquid.
Cointelegraph reported on the news quickly after the exchange announced the attack, which compromised digital assets including BTC, Tron (TRX), Ripple (XRP) and Ether.
The exchange explained that only its hot wallets were affected and added that its assets were being moved into cold storage for security purposes.
The platform has since provided an update and revealed the hack totaled $91.35 million. The firm has urged users to not deposit any crypto assets in Liquid wallets until further notice.
T-Mobile looking into potential hack of data on 100 million customers
Speaking of hacks, U.S. telecom giant T-Mobile was looking into an alleged massive data breach at the start of this week that may have compromised the information of more than 100 million users.
According to Vice’s Motherboard, T-Mobile is looking into a potential data breach claimed by an author who posted details on an underground forum. A Sunday report said the hacker claims to have obtained data on more than 100 million customers from T-Mobile servers.
Unlike the Poly Network hacker, who syphoned $600 million worth of digital assets because “cross-chain hacking is hot,” the T-Mobile hacker seems to be displaying entrepreneurial instincts, as they were asking for 6 BTC — worth around $280,000 at current prices — in exchange for some of the data.

Poly Network hack exposes DeFi flaws, but community comes to the rescue
The DeFi hacker’s initial intentions remain unclear, but they refused to accept a $500,000 bounty after returning all funds.
The perfect storm: DeFi hacks will advance the crypto sector moving forward
There is a silver lining from the DeFi hacks as new tech develops to protect the sector: “DeFi will be much safer in 12 months from now.”

I'm in an open relationship with coffee and mental trauma
I’m hunkered down inside my favorite coffee shop in Southeast Portland having a cup of black liquid love to recharge my body and mind due to me having to dodge a blitzkrieg from the flying commie bastards. The Cupids are a unique kind of chaos as they are technically survivors of a horrific nuclear accident that irradiated an entire Provence. You know the one I’m talking about, y’all won't stop posting screen-caps of the damn thing on tumblr clogging up my steady feed of nihilism and satanic teddy bears. These cupids where re-homed to Portland because the social worker was from Los Angeles and since it works for them and another hundred thousand overpaid yuppies they thought Southeast would be perfect for the bastards to rehab. So the main problem with this (other than rising rent costs) is that their brains got rewired and now do everything hell-bent for leather. So where I get involved with the soviet love bastards is that they got dropped into my neighborhood and there is a sense that they have of loneliness and urgency for love that attracts them to a person and to help them scratch that itch. The problem is that sense is corrupted and given a slightly sadistic bent and they have started matchmaking and sending people that I am comically ill-suited for or in some cases homicidal, Cat eared woman would be an example. Love is a battlefield, I’m a veteran of this war and I got tired of pulling heart arrows out of my ass so we’ve been fighting ever since but today is going to be a major encounter. You see I have a date in one hour and they started to fly around in attack formation as soon as I left the house firing toxic love arrows at me trying to get me to return to past modus operandi and self-sabotage this relationship that hasn’t even started yet. I dodge an arrow called “new love energy” and panic at might bit at how close it came to hitting me. They can’t get into the coffee shop, the smell of burnt bagels and french roast causes them to enter a seizure state that takes days to recover from, honestly french roast has that effect on most people but are too tired to give a fuck and just assume the annoying anaphylactic shock is just a morning caffeine detox. I already thinned the ranks a bit by blowing up a fully automatic bow, this monstrosity looks like a mad man combined a Roman ballista and church pipe organ that can fire arrows like the President throws out lies and is painted pink and violet with both Greek and Russian equivalents for “love is a wet prophylactic”. I had left my own bows hanging at home since I was heading for a date and we agreed on melee combat for this round so I armed myself with only a bokken. I couldn’t reach the artillery positioned on the house across from me I had to do something and that something set the bastards to full rage mode. I took a bag of cans and bottles from the recycling bin shook it good and violently like I did last night before bed while reading the new Warren Ellis comic and threw the bag at the little winged artillery battery. There was a moment of confusion and I might have heard the Russian equivalent to “what the fuck” but then from all over 82nd Ave tweekers arose from under their rocks smelling of steel reserve and four dollar cigarettes and converged on the Cupids moaning about spare change and smokes. I felt bad about doing that but I was left with no choice! the Eros tribunal might clear me due to the circumstances or as a penance, they might require me to date a vanilla person who thinks beige is a proper color for everything and fucking lights on in doggy is kinky with “ow” being a safe word. Wouldn’t be the first time but I’d rather join a monastery than do it again, I can only hear so many Cake songs before my psychotic side goes into Hulk mode.Between the Cupids dive-bombing the windows like some kind of Russian kamikaze toddler pilots and rattling the hipsters enough that they had to go get a vegan vodka shot and this little crotch goblin bouncing around and getting into people’s faces, I'm thinking about how this date is going to affect my partner and I’s relationship. I’m also wondering how my date’s spouse is going to handle things if we hit it off. Polyamory on paper sounds like a plot to a high production value hardcore porno but the truth is (mostly) different. You have to navigate multiple schedules, expectations, and multiple people's emotions and try to figure out how to get what you need without hiding pain, jealousy, and your own fears. Being poly also means being on the outskirts of society in away, there is a sense of resentment and fear from others that don’t get it but not nearly as the violent oppression that us in the LGBTQA+ have had to duck for a few hundred years. My partner and I don’t tell others that we are dating since there is a fear of them being disowned, I tell my family the type of relationships I have because they really can’t take anything away from me since I lost the ability to care about their thoughts on my life. I’m not completely happy with this situation where I feel like a secret but it’s not just my life it’s my partner and their spouse’s lives that would be effected. I’m not saying that everyone in a poly or open relationship should go out with a megaphone and belt out a manifesto of why they decided to break their minds with more than one neurotic trauma victim at a time or telling what happened when you tell a lovers wife that you pegged their husband with a strap on because the wife refused because she felt it was icky and has a lube phobia. What I am saying is that those of us in relationships should start a conversation about non monogamy with our partners and maybe others so we can hear their thoughts and help root out our own. It’s not Polygamy, lets get that one out of the way because I talked with a lot of very intelligent people (and at least one military mandated lobotomy survivor) and they all have said “Oh like the thing Mormons do?” No, more love, openness, and freedom less magic boxers and misogyny. With poly all relationships there are going to have vastly different dynamic from person to person where Bob and Tim are more open and each can have a person to have casual relationships with and sometimes they both have that dynamic with another person. Karen and Jess now are in several relationships that run casual, serious and potential for a marriage. Stacy, Jim, and Jared are in a closed trifecta where Jim and Jared being straight and not with each other they only have relationships with Stacy who only wants to have a relationship with Jim and Jared.Honestly the only thing that all these relationships have in common is communication and the bad poly relationships are non communicative, half truths, full lies, or worse one sided. I've heard the stories where on person would be dating (fucking) someone new every month but their partner was told to be monogamous and not date outside or they would be dumped, to add to this they lived together and the other partner can’t afford to live on their own. So basically one person was a Controlling , cheating waste of mommy and daddies quicky and the other was borderline being mentally and emotionally abused. Predators and halfwits will be part of every aspect of life and will find a way to manipulate or destroy said aspects of life given enough time and opportunity.Nothing is Idiot proof, nothing is safe so get your life set up how you want it and be prepared to guard this fortress against predators. When (not if) the halfwit comes stumbling in like a newborn colt on ice and manages to destroys your life because the dumb fuck is trying to help or by removing the wrong brick in the wall because it was shiny and it’s now their favorite red rock thingy, you better have a plan B to rebuild. The good news is that you now have enough bricks laying on the ground to stone the halfwit to death, I’m a silver lining kinda guy.The Little crotch goblin in the shop is now skipping to a fro all while chanting what I think I recognized as the ritual to raise an evil elder thing that resembles a puppet from some children's program and then banging their fucking little fist on bookshelves. I’ve ordered a hot chocolate for the little bastard and added a bit of full spectrum oil so the crotch goblin will either soon enter torpor or start seeing a god in whatever app the frazzled parent downloaded and handed off to the kid to try and quite the goblin down. I can write now without the music blasting through my headphones being drowned out but I did check to see how the goblin is doing, they passed out on a couch, maybe pissed themselves or just spilled water on the floor hard to say . My date shows up and we talk about ourselves or I talk too much and have to stop myself to ask them a question, after both realizing that the online interaction , attraction, and communication is also very present in a real life situation we agree it was time for the duel . We meet via social media site that specializes in the way of the Gaijin and us weebs must prove our saiyan power rankings so we walk outside and I unravel the sacred condom of holy audience and stop the Cupids dive bombing us while each and every one of these sawed off Kalashnikovs are humming “rock you like a hurricane”. The cupids form a half circle around us and since the invoking of the spirit of The holy Pope Ruth Westhimer the Cupids agree to not interfere and will also leave me alone until after I get off work the next day.Later that night after coming home bloodied , bruised and then the injuries I sustained during the duel I think about the date and how good it went. Talking about our partners, wants, needs and what we can and can not provide for each other, we hold off on saying we are in a relationship, we decided we’re in a trial relationship pending approval from our respective partners. Important to remember that our other partners can be affected by what we do and the clear communication transfers (or it SHOULD) to the other partners. Poly is not easy it can be worth it or as I’ve found utterly heartbreaking at times but I’m not built to be monogamous so my options are to be lonely the rest of my life, be constrained in a monogamous relationship that I may or at least fight like hell not to cheat in or I can just be honest and say this is who I am, you can stay or go. I find a dead mouse on my front porch with a note stating they were worried I hadn’t been eating, one day I’m going to spay this cat eared woman with a soldering iron.

Colorado Hopes to Make Cannabis Industry More Eco-Friendly by Recycling Breweries’ Carbon Dioxide
“We want this to be a model in craft brewing and cannabis,” Gov. Jared Polis says. In an effort to make Colorado’s cannabis industry more eco-friendly, the state’s health department and energy office launched two new pilot programs Wednesday focused on reducing carbon emissions and improving energy efficiency at local cultivations. Both programs support Gov. Jared Polis’ mission to cut greenhouse gasses 50% by 2030. For the first program, the Carbon Dioxide Reuse Project, the…

June solar policy snapshots A guide to recent legislation and research throughout the country.
South Carolina’s Republican governor Henry McMaster signed a bill that will help solar expand in the Palmetto State.
Group wants to extend the solar ITC in areas with closing coal mines Washington, D.C.
A report by the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) found the federal solar tax credit should be extended by at least four years in areas with closing coal mines. The federal ITC is due to begin stepping down annually — from 30% currently to 10% by 2022. “Scheduled curtailment of the tax credit comes at the worst possible moment for vulnerable communities that are facing impending closure of a power plant or a coal mine that provides revenues critical for government services,” said Tony Skrelunas, Navajo, MBA, lead author of the brief.
50+ California organizations ask legislators to protect community choice energy Sacramento, California
The California Alliance for Community Energy sent a letter to California’s state legislature asking them to protect community choice energy programs from being undermined by the Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). The letter was signed by 50 statewide and local organizations including the Local Clean Energy Alliance and the Oakland Climate Action Coalition. The letter outlines the group’s belief that “the CPUC’s attack against community choice has been unremitting, and ratepayers — whether in community choice programs or not — and their communities have been the losers.”
New report quantifies benefits of community solar in Minnesota Saint Paul, Minnesota
A report by solar nonprofit organizations finds Minnesota’s copious amount of community solar benefits the state in many ways, from expanding solar jobs to giving farmers another source of income via solar leases and royalty payments. More than 14,000 Minnesota customers have signed up for community solar, including over 12,000 households and 2,000 business, non-profit and public-sector customers.
Republicans introduce bill to help increase solar development in Maine Augusta, Maine
Maine’s Senate Minority Leader Dana Dow (R-Waldoboro) introduced a bill that would eliminate many road blocks to solar development in the state. Dow said the bill would mostly help medium-sized solar projects like school districts and municipal buildings, according to WABI. Similar bills have failed to pass in the state legislature in years prior, but this latest iteration has bipartisan support.
South Carolina governor signs Energy Freedom Act Columbia, South Carolina
Governor Henry McMaster signed the omnibus Energy Freedom Act in May. The law lifts unnecessary restrictions to expand affordable solar options and allow solar to be a competitive energy source in the state. The bill also extends net metering through 2021 and provides pathways for community solar to grow.
This commonsense clean energy policy passed UNANIMOUSLY though both the House & Senate this year – a historic level of strong & unified bipartisan support for #solar progress the likes of which we’ve maybe never seen before. Huge thanks again to all who were part of this win. pic.twitter.com/CooKDbr9Wq

Maryland extends community solar pilot program through 2022 Annapolis, Maryland
Governor Larry Hogan signed HB 683 to extend Maryland’s community solar pilot program through 2022 while the state’s Public Service Commission determines a long-term path forward for the program. The law also expands the generating capacity per system and lifts the maximum number of subscribers per project.
Maryland officially commits to 50% renewables by 2030 Annapolis, Maryland
Maryland’s commitment to 50% renewable energy by 2030 became law after Governor Larry Hogan allowed it to pass without his signature on May 22. According to the Sierra Club, the 50% by 2030 RPS will include a jump from 2.5% in-state solar to 14.5% by 2030. The law also increases funding for clean energy workforce development.
Colorado governor signs swath of renewable energy bills Denver, Colorado
Colorado governor Jared Polis signed seven renewable energy bills into law in May ranging from curbing greenhouse gas emissions to modifying rules that limited the expansion of community solar projects, according to the Denver Post. The latter law increased the maximum size of a community solar array from 2 MW to 5 MW. All of the bills aim to help bring the state closer to its goal of 100% renewable energy by 2040.

Google to Support Organisations and Non-profits Through Philanthropy Program Daydream Impact
Google is continually striving to find new ways to support virtual reality (VR) development, whether that’s through projects like Poly or its Resonance Audio SDK. Today the technology giant has announced its latest initiative, a philanthropy program that gives resources, training and tools to organizations, non-profits, and advocates for change who want to make immersive VR content to support their cause called Daydream Impact.
VR and 360-degree video is being used across the world as a means of highlighting and showcasing to viewers issues and challenges that are affecting the world around them. With Daydream Impact there are a couple of components to the programme, where anyone can learn how to make high quality VR content via a free Coursera online training program. The course begins by outlining basic hardware requirements and pre-production checklists, and it shares tips for getting the best VR footage including best practices from other creators. The training also covers all the post-production work required to create the video and concludes with guidance on how to publish and promote the video.
As part of the second component Google’s launching a loaner program to give qualified projects access to equipment to capture and showcase VR pieces – such as a Jump Camera, an Expeditions kit, Google Daydream View and a Daydream-ready phone. Organisation leaders will be able to apply for the program, with successful applicants having six months to capture and refine their work and showcase it to their stakeholders.
The programme has already been piloted with several organisations like the Eastern Congo Initiative, which created a VR film on the struggles of the Congo and resilience of its people. “In our line of work, an emotional connection is the most powerful way to get people to take action, and our experience so far has shown that when people physically visit our work and partners in Congo, the impact is tangible and immediate. We think VR can take people half a step there,” said Dane Erickson from the Eastern Congo Initiative in a statement.
Other organisation include The Rising Seas Project which is using VR and simulations to experience changes in our coastline environments and Harmony Labs which created three anti-bullying pieces to pilot in schools.
The World Wildlife Fund & Condition One, UNAIDS, the International Committee of the Red Cross, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Protect our Winters, and Novo Media will be sharing their upcoming projects and case studies in 2018.
For further updates on Daydream Impact, keep reading VRFocus.

Legacy of Innovation: Portraits unveiled of NYU Tandon presidents Hultin and Sreenivasan
http://engineering.nyu.edu/news/2017/03/22/legacy-innovation-portraits-unveiled-nyu-tandon-presidents-hultin-sreenivasanVisitors to the Bern Dibner Library have the opportunity to view official portraits of the former Presidents of the School of Engineering, dating back to the Reverend John H. Raymond, who served from 1855 to 1864. They will now be able to see the newest additions to the wall of academic fame: former President Jerry Hultin and Tandon’s current dean and the final President of the school most famously known as Brooklyn Polytechnic, Katepalli Sreenivasan. The impressive works, by artist Jon R. Friedman, were unveiled on March 15.
Eric Adams, the Brooklyn Borough President, spoke at the unveiling and praised both men for “planting the seed of opportunity and hope within their students and fostering an understanding that the products students produce will not only be used here in Brooklyn, but across the entire globe.” Thanking them for their dedication to NYU Tandon, the borough, and the entire city, Adams said, “Many people see with their eyes, but you see with your hearts.”
There was universal agreement among the luminaries in attendance — who included NYU Shanghai Chancellor Yu Lizhong, Dean of the NYU College of Dentistry Charles N. Bertolami, and former NYU Provost David McLaughlin — that Sreenivasan and Hultin had, collectively, changed the face of engineering education and helped position Tandon on the global stage. “Both of these individuals have elevated this institution,” Craig Matthews, the former chairman of the school’s board of trustees, asserted. President from 2005-2012, Hultin was instrumental in launching the successful affiliation between Poly and NYU in 2008 that culminated in the merger. “Jerry helped coin the phrase ‘i-squared-e’ — invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship,” Dennis Dintino, the senior vice dean for finance and administration at NYU Tandon, explained when he addressed the appreciative crowd at the library. “The result of the merger was that two great institutions came together and forged one brighter future.”
During his tenure thus far as head of the Tandon School of Engineering and NYU Dean of Engineering, Sreenivasan — as Matthews declared — has taken the school “to new heights and new levels.”
Sreeni, as he is affectionately known, whom Bertolami warmly described as a role model to him in his own leadership post, was lauded by several speakers for furthering Hultin’s legacy of innovation and cementing the school’s commitment to placing technology in service to society. Under his auspices, the Tandon community has seen the establishment of the Pilot Veterans Future Lab and Veteran Entrepreneurship Program within the Future Lab network, the launch of the NYU Makerspace, a significant increase in the number of aspiring female engineers in the student body, the establishment of the cutting-edge transportation research center C2SMART, and numerous other important initiatives.
“We have made great progress and this institution has become very strong,” Sreenivasan said as he and Hultin stood in front of their portraits. He affirmed, however, that he would not be resting on his laurels: “We still have a long way to go.”

Colorado Governor Issues Proclamation Declaring Official ‘Hemp Week’
It’s officially “Colorado Hemp Week.”
That’s a result of a proclamation Gov. Jared Polis (D) issued to honor the state’s hemp industry.
The gubernatorial document notes that Colorado was the first state in the U.S. to lift prohibition of the crop and now “leads the nation in industrial hemp production acreage.”
“Colorado has long recognized the strong economic potential that hemp production offers our agricultural sector as a food, fiber, and cannabinoid producer and the increasing consumer demand for hemp products in Colorado,” it states. “Colorado has been a national leader in developing public policies that support hemp production, protect farmers and consumers, and treat hemp as an important agricultural product and not a controlled substance.”
“Hemp is a necessary agricultural commodity to promote conservation,” it continues. “Hemp products can provide sustainable solutions and options for consumers and businesses.”
Therefore, the governor announced that June 6-13 is Colorado Hemp Week.
Polis has been a vocal advocate for the state’s marijuana and hemp market. During his first State of the State address last year, he touted Colorado’s hemp research and manufacturing and said he wants to “seize on this opportunity under the most recent national Farm Bill to help make Colorado the national leader in industrial hemp production.”
More recently, Polis has pushed for a federal policy change to make the states marijuana businesses eligible for coronavirus relief.
Also earlier this year, he announced two pilot programs aimed at increasing energy efficiency in the marijuana and beer industries.
While Colorado was one of the first states to legalize cannabis, advocates are still pushing for further reforms. A newly introduced bill, for example, would set a definition for which cannabis businesses constitute social equity applicants. Polis’s office told Marijuana Moment that he supports the measure.
