Some note-worthy things to mention, this blog is generally 15+, but I do make sure to tag any NSFW content and general triggers out there. I often post and retweet adult animation, so I’d say tread carefully if you’re a minor. I’m also critical with the media I consume, but most of the time, I like to talk about why I like something rather than why I hate it. I just find it more fun to expound on the positives of my favorite things. I also don’t take everything seriously.

Hello, everyone! This is my first post here in Tumblr. Allow me to tell a little bit about myself.

My name is Zoe Amelia Clark,  but you can call me Zoe, Snowy, or simply Zo.

I was born on December 2, 1997, and I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pony prom 2020

Silver shoals was an interesting choice for this year's Pony Prom to be held, but the duo doubted anyone would be complaining too much as they stepped out of the carriage and onto the red carpet. Aside from the usual hustle and bustle expected of a coastal port town, there were plenty of ponies all gussied up in their best formal attire for their dates. Seeing all these outfits and the collage of colorful ponies almost made Platinum feel much more at ease. Ponies were happy and love was in the air!

Aurora gave Platinum a small smirk before putting on her public persona. There was time for frivolousness, but that was not now. They weren’t the only ones arriving and this moment to strut was theirs for but a moment. With the grace of a princess, Aurora put one hoof in front of the other and waved at those greeting them as they were ushered to the Town hall where the majority of the decor was set up. It always amazed Platinum just how easy it was for Aurora to calmly and elegantly move around, even with her new accessories shifting and moving about as she walked. Her poise was unrivaled among the prom guests. Not even Platinum could hope to be able to keep his composure as well as she did.

The prom decorations were as extravagant as the last time the two of them were able to attend, perhaps more-so. Did they get a budget increase, or did the increase in traffic expand the nexus? Judging by the look on Aurora’s face, she was thinking about it just as much as he was.

Spying an ice breaker, Platinum levitated two cups of fruit punch from the snack bar over to them and offered one to her, “A bit for your thoughts Aurora?”

Grateful, Aurora took it in her own magical grasp and took a sip. Afterward, she put it down to about chest level and loosely gestured to the sign hanging above the Town hall’s entrance, “I know we have talked about how the Prom came to be last time we were here, but I still have many questions. For instance, why did Ace say she had to jump through a few hoops to get me to be able to come in the first place? More-over, why can’t my uncles know the details about this trip? I do hate to lie to them…”

Oh, these questions again? Well, better to ask him then risk searching for answers on her own. Who knows what can show up in those results! After a sip of his own punch, he smiled and obliged her, “Well, from what I was able to gather about how Tumblr works in your world, there are various stages of awareness and each stage has its own perks and detriments.”

He balanced his cup on his hoof and presented it to her with the idea of using it as an analogy, “At one time I used bubbles as an example of how the nexus is formed, but this cup will suffice for what I have to say. Imagine the frame is the blog from which you hail from. The world as you know it. You can see the cup because you were told it was there by someone else who knew it was there. Ace is my hoof, already there, holding the world and interacting with it in ways you cannot imagine. You are like the fruit punch inside. You may touch it, may be spilled from it, be added to, but you don’t fundamentally change the cup. And your uncles are the air within. Always there, always everywhere, always holding the cup, but never owning it. Even if the fruit punch tells the air a cup exists, it doesn’t pay it any heed and goes on its merry way.”

“That answers some questions, but creates more!”

He chortled, “I am not surprised… Even those of us aware like Ace and I have trouble grasping it sometimes. It’s a mess! I would be surprised if you remember it all by the end of this.”

She cocked her head to the side and questioned him further, “What do you mean?”

He took another sip of his punch and smiled at her, “Consider that being a detriment to being the fruit punch. You can be anywhere, but it’s not like you can remember which cup you are in.”

She paused, mulling over his words. Reaching a conclusion, she drank all of her punch and started to drag the other unicorn to the dancefloor. When he asked what she was thinking, she responded with a profound statement that shook him greatly. Not out of shock or fear, but of pride.

“If I am to forget come the morrow, then dance with me like there will not be another sunrise.”

She totally sounded like a drama princess just then, but she was his princess and he would treat her like one.

He bowed and kissed her hoof as his first move. His second was to draw close to her and fall into step. He was by no means fancy, or even quick with his pace at first, but he did his best not to be left behind or step on her hooves. A waltz was a nice way to get things started, to get used to the feeling of the floor underhoof and slow beat of the song. However, as time went on, faster yet faster they went. From an open stance to a closed one, they boxed, they spun, and they dipped. They whisked and winged.

She giggled, relishing in his ability to keep up and put on a good show. It was not often she had a chance to dance with someone who knew the steps. Was this a part of guard training, or did he practice just for her, she wondered.  Either way, she was definitely enjoying herself and it showed. Now if only her wings didn’t get in the way, their stiffness was starting to wear away at her poise.

He ran a hoof through her hair and smiled, brushing her multi colored mane out of her eyes and said, “Relax… There is plenty more to come before we are through, yes?”

Those words stuck with her throughout the night, punctuating by the sound of fireworks going off. The way the flicking lights danced upon the water’s surface filled her with a feeling she could barely describe. Her wings flapped, her heart soaring. She had an idea… As silly as it was, she wanted to take him out over the water, to dance with him under the stars alone, framed by the moon and the celebratory fireworks that were planned to go all night to celebrate this year’s prom. It was going to be great! He seemed to have the same idea, as he asked her, “Want to take a closer look, Aurora?”

She nodded and allowed him to lead her to the docks by the hoof and the two shared a moment that some can only dream of. Even if her memories of this event wanes, dancing with him on the water, and sharing a kiss as the latest shell cleaves the moon with its fleeting brilliance... She won’t forget this.

Who wants a big long post explain my MLP Self-Insert/OC because I AGAIN have no impulse control?!

None one? Good thing this is a side blog with 5 followers then!

Let’s start with something easy. This is my MLP OC/Self Insert I made out of impulse while watching literally all of Friendship is Magic. His name is Dream Eater, people call him Dreamer.

He was made as a background pony who would normally be seen riding the backs of other ponies around ponyvill. He was also Big Mac’s tiny gay boyfriend.

After a while, specifically when Big Mac got a girlfriend, I started coming up for a story for him that fit him well into the canon because of course I did.

Dream Eater is a descendant of a race of Pegasus known as Dream Ponies. Dream Ponies live on the highest cloud in Equestria. Long ago, they were incharge of helping Princess Luna with the dreams of ponies, along with controlling the stars. They’re a race of nocturnal ponies who spend all their time either sleeping or doing their job, friendship was not a priority for them.

When Princess Luna became imprisoned in the moon, the Dream Ponies split. Many stayed high in the clouds to continue controlling the starts and constellations, while others moved lower to discover the world and friendship.

Dreamer’s parents, Day Dream and Dream Catcher, eloped and ran away to move lower into the world, as they wished for a better life for their new born colt. A friendlier life. Unfortunately, they and their baby were still stuck in the nocturnal life of their families, and struggled to leave the house during waking hours. Still, every day Day Dream and Dream Catcher would force their little colt to go out during the day and play and find friends.

Eventually Dream Eater stumbled upon Big Macintosh, whom at the time was still a talkative little guy, so when this random pony came and fell asleep on his back, he hardly noticed as he talked and talked all the way home. When he got home, it was Apple Jack who’d noticed her brother’s new friend was snoozing though his stories, which she found hilarious.

Of course, when Dreamer finally woke up around Sunset he was absolutely mortified and apologized over and over. The apples didn’t mind none and welcomed the pony to stay for dinner. When he apologized to big mac on the walk home, the young colt admitted he didn’t mind the company, even if he was asleep.

From then on, it was pretty common to see little Mac walking though town with this small orange Pegasus asleep on his back, talking to himself as if the small pony was listening. Soon most other towns ponies began to allow the colt to ride them as well. Whenever he woke up, he’d simply switch ponies, and as he was very light, no one ever really minded the extra company.

When Princess Luna returned, Dreamer’s parents returned to the Dream Ponies to resume their jobs, leaving Dreamer to inherit their small cloud house to himself. Still, even though he wasn’t forced from the house, Dream still went into ponyvill every day to ride and meet new ponies.

He also spent most his nights with Big Mac, catching up on all the talking he missed out on during the day, snuggling with the large pony, or just watching him sleep in a sweet and totally not creepy way.

They were dating, but it wasn’t widely known, thus the Heart’s and Hooves day fiasco while Dreamer was attending a family emergency out of town. Of course they immediately celebrated a late Hearts and Hooves day when he returned.

Around the time Princess Twilight became Princess Twilight, Princess Luna called all Dream Ponies back to the clouds. Dreamer had to go, by royal decree and.. they weren’t sure if he’d ever come back to ponyvill. It was heart breaking, but Big Mac and Dreamer had to break up.

Around when the school was built, Dreamer was allowed to return to his small drifting home, and the first thing he did was run to see Big Mac! Only to find the love of his life had moved on. Sugar Belle was very nice about the situation, but it was clear to Dreamer Big Mac loved her very much. He assured the two he was fine with this, and even congratulated them.

Dream Eater fell into a depression. Not only was he sleeping all day, he was sleeping all night as well. His house drifted over Ponyvill, instead of staying over the Apple barn like it use to. Of course, Big Mac was worried, Dreamer was his best friend.

After almost a week of no one seeing Dreamer, the mane six decide to step in and convince Dream to come out of his home. He has a sit down with Big Mac out in the Apple grove, alone. It’s very heartfelt and I have totally thought of all the details about it but it’s weird and I don’t want to type the whole thing just know it’s too dark for MLP and this pony is depressed.

Not wanting to leave Dreamer alone after this, but too busy with his own life to keep an eye on the pony, Big Mac asks for help from the mane six. Unfortunately, the girls are also constantly tossed around by life, thus causing the nocturnal pony to switch hooves constantly. When night finally comes around, after being bounced from pony to pony and getting no sleep all day, Dreamer says he’s just going to go home.

Of course, it’s still too dangerous to let the pony be alone. The mane six try to keep him from leaving, forcefully pinning him down, pulling his tail, everything they can do to keep him from flying away. Eventually the Keeper of Equestrian tales, Rockhoof, notices their struggle, and runs in to dissolve the situation.

The Mane Six explain the situation while trying not to give to much away about Dreamer’s mental state. Rockhoof, being the hero he is, offers to watch the small pony as long as they need. The mane six are unsure, but they don’t have much other choice. They need to sleep.

In Rockhoof’s care, Dreamer revisits a simpler time of riding a large pony while he praddles on and on, telling stories or talking about whatever may come to mind. Not only that, but Rockhoof is able to practice telling stories and being less animated while doing so, as he doesn’t want to awaken his rider.

Dreamer gets over his broken heart and slowly heals with new love, new friends, and of course old friends.

Happy Birthday, AkumaTh!

Or belated birthday anyway! I wanted to get these done sooner yesterday, but I ran out of time. Either way, this first piece is something I’ve been meaning to do for two years. (Originally in 2017 I began drawing Akuma himself, but I never ended up finishing it. So this year I settled for Pixilated Penguin! Which in hindsight, I think was a good choice as it led to the idea of this.)

I rarely get to speak of it, but I’ve actually gotten to meet (and technically work alongside) Akuma back in 2015 at a convention. I knew of him and his work prior online, but I didn’t realize he was also in my neck of the woods. So seeing him (and his Mii pop up in StreetPass) was a total surprise.

Upon meeting and making contact with him, I had asked if we could conduct a live interview about himself and projects he’s involved with. We did actually do it, though unfortunately the footage is not currently on YouTube. (I might still have it somewhere deep in storage; if there’s any interest from you guys and if he’s fine with that ever being published, I’ll definitely get on finding and releasing that; albeit it may potentially contain opinions only reflective of that time.)

In general, Akuma is a very kind, patient and down-to-earth dude, and in the blue moons I get to see him again in subsequent meetings, he’s always great to talk and hang with. He knows and does a lot, and also comes through for his friends whenever he possibly can. Two years ago, he even made a sprite set of my OC, which was a total surprise and is what encouraged me to want to return the favor in the first place.

Speaking of Tom, I think he’s actually made a lot of improvement as a person from when we first saw him.  But the questioning of ‘think I’m better than Marco yet’ from the last ep kind of has me thinking that maybe Star’s holding him back now?  Like, she totally helped and was there for him, but now he’s kind of chaining himself down.

Tom is going to find out and he will need hugs when he does.

Total Solar Eclipse: A regale of the Yayoi people, Amatsukami and Ama no Iwato

As the Total Solar Eclipse was a great event taking place across North America, I thought it would be the perfect time to write about the solar eclipse, and what it means in Shinto traditions - especially in regard to the famous Ama no Iwato myth. While it is unknown the true event associated with Ama no Iwato, it is said popularily it represents a solar eclipse – however when one studies further, a more significant connection would be to the Winter Solstice. However, indeed, solar eclipses would have most likely been significant as well, especially in relation to a recall of Ama no Iwato.

(Solar eclipse) The myth of Ama no Iwato is centered around the Amatsukami - Heavenly kami - originally worshiped by the Yayoi people. The era in which their culture flourished and was most active is traditionally dated about 300 BC to 300 AD, called the Yayoi era (Yayoi Jidai 弥生時代). It is from this time the Yayoi people and culture shared and practiced an early type of Amatsukami worship, the spiritual tales they told immortalized today in the Kojiki. While the Kojiki was written much later, in 712 AD, there is archaeological evidence and oral tradition that these myths are much older, dating to the Yayoi, who had no writing system. So, to understand fully about this spiritual story of Ama no Iwato, and the significance an eclipse would be to them, we must talk a bit about them first. The Yayoi people were the first to bring worship of Amatsukami to the land what we now call as Japan. An easiest example to show the connection, as pictured below, one can clearly see the connection even in the modern era – the architecture of Ise Kotaijinguu, Amaterasu Omikami's primary shrine in the country, still retains the ancient architecture of the Yayoi people, and Yayoi settlements. The importance of the Sun, Moon, stars, rain, ocean, and wind – and their spirits/souls, the kami, played an important part of Yayoi worship. Amaterasu Omikami being the most important to them – as she was said to be the kami who gave them life, warmth, growth, and livelihood, as well giving leadership guidance to the Yayoi leaders ( considered royalty, and were also oracles/shamans), who were usually women as well.

The Yayoi held the symbols of the mirror, sword, and magatama jewel in utmost respect as symbols of Amaterasu Omikami – a tradition still held today. Common Yayoi practices, such as divination using the shoulder bone of a deer (Futomani), silk weaving, rice farming, channeling the divine via dance (miko), and so on, can all be seen reflected in the myths – especially in the Ama no Iwato myth, all these elements appear. This is why, it is important to understand the background and context of the Yayoi, to catch the nuances and importance of this myth. I'll retell an excerpt of Ama no Iwato below, with some parts cut out in order of relevance

Susanoo no Mikoto, having neglected his duties as a kami due to sadness over Izanami Okami's death, was banished from Takamagahara (realm of the Heavenly kami, Amatsukami). Distraught, he went directly to Amaterasu Omikami's palace, in order to (seemingly) seek guidance to his elder sister. (Story of the Divine Oath) . . However, while it seemed Susanoo no Mikoto had a good and pure heart, while he stayed in the palace, he committed very rude acts. In his anger and sadness, he decimated the sacred rice paddy, the farmland, and threw excrement all over the palace. The other Amatsukami were enraged and asked Amaterasu Omikami for an explanation. She tried to defend him, saying that he was suffering through a lot of difficult emotions, and the Amatsukami begrudgingly accepted her words. She spoke to Susanoo no Mikoto afterwards, and while it was quiet for a time, he seemed to have planned and even bigger transgression. In Amaterasu Omikami's palace, her younger sister, Wakahirume no Mikoto, was the leader of the weaving maiden kamis. She is said to be a kami of the dawn, or dusk, as well as weaving, silk production, clothing making, and related aspects. (Enshrined at Ikuta Jinja in Kobe). As Wakahirume no Mikoto was weaving silk, Susanoo no Mikoto hid on the roof of the weaving palace. He held a skinned divine pony, and threw it harshly, crashing through the wooden/delicate roof, and landing on top of Wakahirume no Mikoto. The impact had her fall directly onto her loom with such force, that pieces of it pierced her pelvis, and she is said to have died right away. (However, later her spirit is said to have revived). The other weaving maidens, and now Amaterasu Omikami, who had rushed in hearing the screams and crashed, saw horrific things – a skinned divine pony (said to may have been Amaterasu Omikami's own pony, which is why a white sacred horse is still presented to Naiku/Inner Shrine at Ise), ruined silk and looms (considered sacred to Amaterasu Omikami, and still offered to her at Ise Kotaijinguu), and most critically, seeing her younger sister dead. Completely numbed and in shock, she broke down and ran with adrenaline to a cave, which we now call as the sacred Ama no Iwato, and shut herself inside. Of course, with this, the light also disappeared, and the other Amatsukami were thrown into a panic. The weaving maidens quickly told them about the incident, and, after swiftly punishing Susanoo no Mikoto by pulling out his nails, cutting his hair and beard, and exiling him to the land of Kunitsukami, Izumo no Kuni, they began to work how to get her out of the cave. They consulted Omoikane no Mikoto, a kami of knowledge and wisdom, to see what to do. As they made camp by the Yasu River near Ama no Iwato, he came up with a plan to call sacred and pure energy so she would want to come out, and delegated tasks to the other Amatsukami. To Ame no Uzume no Mikoto, he suggested she do a divine dance, to call sacred energy. To Ame no Koyane, he suggested that he write a norito prayer To Ame no Futodama, he suggested to do the the Futomani divination with the shoulder bone of a deer (a sacred animal to Yayoi) to find out if the plan will be successful or not. To Ishikoridome no Mikoto, he suggested she make a large mirror (now known as Yata no Kagami) so she can see her own reflection To Tamanoya no Mikoto, he suggested they make many magatama (now known as Yasakani no magatama) to hang on the sakaki branch alongside the mirror. 

Amaterasu Omikami is said to have been fond of magatama ever since the magatama necklace, Mikuratana no Kami, was given by her Father, Izanagi Okami, as a symbol to be the ruler of Takamagahara. 

They also collected divine roosters, hoping their call would call her out (as roosters caw when the sun rises).

After Ame no Futodama confirmed the plan would succeed through divination, the kami began to implement everything. It seemed to be going well, but despite the chanting of norito, and Ame no Uzume preparing a divine dance, there still seemed to be no sign of it working. All the Amatsukami were nervous. Then, Ame no Uzume no Mikoto, the goddess of the sunrise, began to do something different. She overturned a washtub laying by the river, took sakaki and other branches and flowers in her hair and hands, and exposed her breasts. Instead of a solemn ritual to call down divine energy, she began to cheerfully and excitedly dance, and laugh, and make lots of noise stepping on the washtub and shaking the leaves. The Amatsukami, all suddenly shocked by her actions, couldn't help but release from their tension in laughter. Once they began laughing, they couldn't stop, and Ame no Uzume no Mikoto was encouraged and began to do more and more exciting things, making the Amatsukami more and more cheerful and laughing. At the same time, the roosters began to call, and Ame no Koyane began chanting the norito more loudly. Amaterasu Omikami, surprised at all the sounds and noises, was shocked out of her sadness and depression for a moment. She peeked a little from the cave, and called out, “What is happening?” and Ame no Uzume no Mikoto cheerfully replied, “There's a new goddess here! And she's way better than you!” Amaterasu Omikami, shocked and confused, peeked more, whereupon she saw her reflection in Yata no Kagami. While she was dazzled having never seen her reflection, her depression had come back, “Oh, it seems it's true, she is much better”. In this moment of remorse however, was the Amatsukami's chance. Omoikane no Mikoto called Ame no Tajikarao, the strongest of the Amatsukami, to quickly grab her out from the cave. As he did, Ame no Futodama quickly sealed the cave,said to be with shimenawa, so she could not enter again.

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:AmanoiwatoCave.jpg Thus, light was restored, and cheerfully the peace among the Amatsukami and Takamagahara was restored. (What happened to Susanoo no Mikoto? He has a happy ending too, but for next time!) From this myth, we can see important elements of Yayoi culture, such as rice paddies, farms, horses, silk weaving, and most importantly, life – all decimated. All these things would be considered very harsh transgressions against the head kami of the Yayoi people, and the people themselves. The traditional spiritual practices to commune with the kami at the time, such as Futomani, and divine dance, were credited to restoring peace, sunlight, and order. It can be gleaned that whenever transgressions against the kami happened, people reconnected to them via the leader's and their court spiritual communication with the kami to restore peace and balance. The Ama no Iwato myth itself, as mentioned, is more associated with the Winter Solstice, especially if one considers the torii leading to Uji Bridge (Ujibashi) at Ise Kotaijinguu. This torii is the very first one that is seen before entering the sacred realm of the Inner shrine (Naiku). The way the torii is built aligns to the sun rising directly inside the torii on the Winter Solstice day. As Ise Kotaijinguu was founded by Yamatohime no Mikoto, from the Yayoi/Yamato Kingdom, and still retains Yayoi traditions throughout thousands of years, there is a connection the Winter Solstice time was a more significant event to the Yayoi (longest night of the year). However, despite this, the time of solar eclipses relates to this myth as well albeit in a more abstract manner.  The Yayoi most likely also made the connection between Ama no Iwato, the Winter solstice, and eclipses – all times when the sun's light is less, or in the case of an eclipse, slowly taken away and completely blotted out for a few minutes. Remembering that Ama no Iwato happened due to severe transgressions - even by the divine - private rituals by the leaders, public ceremonies with the people, and extra food offerings were most likely done in order to keep the sun's light shining – to keep balance, peace, and harmony among their deities and their people.

While Ama no Iwato itself may not have been an eclipse story – the eclipse would have certainly reminded them of the myth, and to be humble and continue a proper way of living. It would have had a strong impact on them, just as it still does on us as humanity as a whole, even after thousands of years and scientific knowledge, we are still in awe at the power of great nature, and the power of the sun.

Rebecca and Mia wisdom advice

Rebecca: when dealing with a very hard assignment in class, always have a backup plan Mia: but if the backup plan doesn’t work, never relied on cheating, because bad things will happen to you, especially like my sister did *she laugh* Rebecca: that was one time Mia and I learn my lesson. Somewhere in the hallways at the canterlot castle, the twin sisters Rebecca and Mia were walking down the hall, heading for their bedroom, after a long day at the high school, Mia was having a conversation with her pet centipede, telling it about the boring things she done in class so far, Mia was staring at her homework that she done for writing class, but her attention was mainly on the grade she gotten and it wasn’t exactly the grade she wanted. Mia stop talking to her pet centipede and look at her twin sister homework for a second, she was shock to see that Rebecca gotten a failing grade for the first time, since she always get much better grades then her. Mia wanted to laugh at her sister, but she was caught off guard, when Rebecca look at her with an angry look in the eye, similar to when their mother get upset. Rebecca: I hope you not trying to laugh at me Mia, because if you do, I will send you straight to the moon, like mother did to Aunty Luna Mia: take it easy Becky, I was only laughing with you, not at you and beside it not like you be able to send me to the moon, when you’re still learning how to use your magic properly. Rebecca: ……. Sigh, your right, even if I try to send you to the moon, I would have easily send you somewhere far away like, I don’t where exactly I will send you Mia: if you can send me to the everfree forest, I would be a happy pony *she look and see her pet appear out of her hair* and Centa would be happy too Rebecca: ….. Augh, only you Mia would make the whole thing be nothing more but bugs. Mia: come now Becky, you’re only acting this way, because you’re upset about your grade Rebecca: what make you think I’m upset about my stupid grade? Mia: you’re my twin sister Becky, I know a lot about you. Like whenever things doesn’t go your way, you have an angry look in your eyes, but hide it in your cuteness and when I joke around with you, you then to be a stick in the mud like mom sometimes. Rebecca: I’m not a stick in the mud Mia and you know I hate mud Mia: it’s an expression Becky, dad taught us that when we were little Rebecca: oh yeah, I forgot about that … sigh, I guess your right Mia, I am upset about the grade I got on my homework Mia: you see, I know I was right Rebecca: your right, but I still don’t understand why I got a failing grade in the first place. I did what the teacher as us and follow exactly what the assignment said. I mean sure the assignment said that write a simple story about someone important in my life and why. Mia: did you write about the important pony in your life? Rebecca: I did and it was about our mother, how she is the ruler of equestria and that ponies respect her and the great wisdom. I work on that report for hours and it should have been a decent grade, but instead Mia: you got a simple lower grade Rebecca: exactly, I just don’t understand why I got a failing grade for, I’m one of the top students that get perfect grades and now I’m stuck with this one. Mia: having a failing grade isn’t so bad, I got a couple here and there, but I’m doing alright in class *she look at the side of the hallway and saw a vending machine* oh goody, I wonder they have my favorite snack Rebecca: well that easy for you to say Mia, I’m someone that get good grades, you on the other hooves, no offense dear sister, you second best Mia: *she grab her snack from the machine of peanut butter cracker and start eating it and share some to her pet centipede* I’m alright with second best Becky, I’m also alright with the grade I got on the same homework you did Rebecca: what, you mean you got a better grade then I did. How that eve possible Mia: simple really, I follow what the assignment said and think for a moment on the pony I admire. Then I thought about dad and all the things he done. Rebecca: and what exactly you wrote Mia: I wrote about the simple and yet coolest things about him being a great dad. Sure I could write about the heroic adventure he done with his friends and family and sure dad was someone with lots of secret. But in the end of the dad, I wrote about a pony, that been a great dad to me, a great dad to the both of us. After hearing what Mia said, Rebecca finally realis what she was missing in her report. It wasn’t about the accomplishment the pony done in their life, it was the things that was important to them. Rebecca report was missing some key important about her mother and she feel a fool for not to relies that. She sat down on the floor and her head with her hooves, finally realizing the mistake she made. Mia look at her sister and sense something wrong with her, she walk towards her twin sister and see if she was doing alright Mia: hey Becky, are you alright, you want me to get you a drink or something Rebecca: no thanks Mia, I just finally figure out what you said and I feel like a total fool Mia: you’re not a fool Becky, just a little over confident is all Rebecca: *she rolls her eyes* thanks Mia, I feel a lot better with that remark Mia: you know what I meant Becky, look you’re the smartest mare in the class, all you need is just talk with mom and learn a lot more than just being a ruler Rebecca: yeah I guess I could do that, it been awhile since I talk to her very often. Mia: you and me both Becky, we always relied on dad all the time, since he had much more experience with life. But he always tells us to never forget that mom is an average pony like the rest of us, sure she is an alicorn and it hard to find anything special around it, but she also our mother and I know she got a lot of things she wanted to say, other than the simple boring stuff. Rebecca: yeah, you know something Mia, for a pony that like to be in the dirt and talk to bugs all day, you’re a pretty decent sister, which always have the right words to say. Mia: that why I’m a lot more like dad in wisdom, I may lack the magic ability like mom and dad, but when it comes to word of wisdom, I’m the mare to ask. Rebecca: *she hug her sister* and I’m lucky to have a sister like for advice. Mia: any time Becky, now let get going to our next class, if Ms. Feather horn found us in the middle of the hall and not in our classroom, we be in Ms. Feather horn: I hope the word you’re looking for is serious trouble Rebecca and Mia were shock in fear when they heard a familiar voice, they wanted to look to see if the pony they were talking about was her, but too afraid to even look. Rebecca gulp a little and try to say something to Ms. Feather horn Rebecca: greeting Ms. Feather horn, how are you doing today? Ms. Feather: I’m doing alright, until I found two favorite ponies that enjoy getting in trouble all the time Mia: in our defense Ms. Feather horn, we haven’t done anything wrong all day Ms. Feather horn: you two are not in your classroom, so you’re already in trouble. Now since you two are the daughters of Princess Celestia and Sir Thomas the writer, I will let this slide ….. For now Rebecca: thank you Ms. Feather horn Mia: yeah, you’re the best Ms. Feather horn: but you two will write me a four page report on the history of the peace treaty meeting, between the equestria and the kingdom of saddle Arabia and I want that report be done by tomorrow Rebecca: four pages Mia: tomorrow Ms. Feather horn: you heard me right young ladies now the clock is ticking and you don’t want to be late for class even further. Mia: I guess you’re right, I still got detention for the last incident that involved with a few bug friends of mine Rebecca: yeah, which I’m still curious of why you brought a few star spiders to a dance party Mia: first of all star spiders aren’t bugs, second they ask me to bring something cute, which I figure star back spider would be perfect Rebecca: there is words for me to say, but we are running late, let just go Mia: hey wait for me.
