If you actually draw your stuff in greyscale then damn you must be good at values

It’s easier to work with like 6 shades of gray than it is to work with 40 krillion colors

Dear fanfic authors,

Please learn the difference between "rogue" and "rouge". Please. I'm begging you.

Rouge: Pronounced "rooj", soft G. (Edit: Actually it is most correctly pronounced "roozh" with a soft J. I do sometimes hear it with a soft G instead but it should be a soft J sound.) 'Red' in French. A kind of makeup (synonym or near-synonym with blush). Baton Rouge. Moulin Rouge.

Rogue: Pronounced "rohg", hard G. A D&D class. An X-Men character. A criminal or rebel. Rogue agent. Rogue Squadron. Rogues Gallery. In many fandoms much much more likely to come up than rouge.

I'm not sure how much this is people being confused versus people finding the typo invisible — they do say that as long as all the letters are present and the first and last ones are right you can see the word, and by those standards rogue and rouge are identical (as are cavalry and calvary, but that's a different complaint).

Sadly for my flexibility as a reader, I do not find the typo invisible.

those are the themes. not the plot.

#because there are two different crowds of ppl--#the 'I hate bsd and I read every chapter just to hate on it' crowd #and the 'I love the characters I love the themes. ngl the plot's kinda a mess though'#and I 100% understand answering to crowd 1 that there's substance and meaning in bsd #and it's right there. you're looking right at it.#it's about love and acceptance and finding a place to belong #However. I see such an uptick of ppl answering crowd 2 as if they're crowd 1 #my dear friend. nobody's hating on bsd when being confused about the convoluted plot #and if someone says 'I don't really get the plot' and you say 'but the THEMES'#you're not addressing the thing they're saying. you're just saying a brand new statement
