I could not let go of my pen until I finished this.

Not kidding. Pulled an all nighter bc inspiration stuck on me like a leech and I didn't want it to run out while I was procrastinating. Had to keep that momentum going.

It usually takes me ages to finish bc I feel compelled to render my art but I stuck with a normal sketch for this one.

Also had help from a 3D pose app bc I realized yet again how hopeless I am without reference. My wrist ached when I finished fr. I am genuinely proud of this one though and can't stop looking at it 🙈 The look Harry has when staring at Tom and just the overall picture of Tom leaning over Harry makes me want to giggle into my pillow.

Tomarry AU where Harry's favourite character is Tom Riddle, the main character of a novel he is obsessed with. An antihero who took over the world after he defeated (killed) his most hated teacher (poor Dumbledore) who made his life miserable. He is Harry's favourite because Harry can relate to him (dursleys, huh.) and also respects him because he survived. (Tom's Harry's comfort character; and the reason why Harry remained strong when there was no magic letters and no flying brooms for him.)

Cue to Harry waking up in the body of the "most hated" teacher's assistant when he dies and freaking out because Tom will kill him in the future. But luckily for him, he realizes, it's not too late because Tom's still a kid. So he makes it his life goal to give Tom a happy life while saving him from Dumbledore's clutches; and saving the wizarding world in the process.

No one can deny that Tomarry has some of the most beautiful fics in the Harry Potter fandom. Say what you want about how “it will never work” ITS FANFIC THATS THE WHOLE POINT.
